REGISTRATION

UPCOMING NEWS It’s our Birthday! Celebrations for the 50th Anniversary of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District will continue throughout the fall, including celebrations at all of our TNRD Libraries. Times and dates are listed on the back cover. If you have children in Grade 3, keep an eye out in October for information coming home from your child’s school about our Grade 3 VIP Library Card Campaign. Our goal is to give all grade 3 children in the TNRD access to a library card, and all the free books, DVDs, games, and other materials available through the library! We’re also celebrating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter by kickstarting our new Book Geeks book club.

Join us in reading the entire Harry Potter series, whether you’ve never read them or you’ve read them 100 times! Our full range of Book Clubs is on page 11. Our extremely popular Pop-Culture Trivia Night will return again this fall! If you know the answer to questions like: “Who did Wil Wheaton play on Star Trek?” or “Which superhero’s alter-ego is a librarian?” then this is the event for you. Details on page 9. Don’t forget to check our website for the latest information about programs and events, as well as access to eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, streaming video, and more! It’s all at www.tnrdlib.ca.

Programs are free! Registered programs are marked with a RR symbol. All other programs are Drop-In. Register for programs in person, by phone, or online unless otherwise noted. Registration for children’s programs begins September 13th at 10am. Registration for all other programs begins Sept 1st at 10am.

The libraries are closed all statutory holidays. *At times, programs may be re-scheduled or cancelled.
