The site benefits from an existing planning consent for a similar residential-led development, however the current proposals look to improve on this scheme and regenerate this part of Holbeck Urban Village. This community newsletter provides information on the proposals and how you can have a say on them.

The project Dandara is asking local people for their views about our plans for a residential-led development at our site which is bordered by Sweet Street and Manor Road. The scheme will consist of 750 new properties, made up of a mix of unit sizes to provide choice, including; studios, 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed apartments. In addition it will include: New pedestrian routes through the site Extensive, landscaped courtyard space accessible to the public
Private garden/terrace space for residents Car parking spaces and cycle spaces Commercial floor space for retail and/or leisure use Pedestrian links to encourage connectivity with the city centre With a mix of high quality residential accommodation and new commercial space, the proposed development will contribute to delivering the wider regeneration of Holbeck Urban Village. Open space will be a key feature of the development and a significant proportion will be publicly accessible which local people will be able to enjoy. Extensive planting will enhance the appearance of the new buildings and create an attractive space for the community to use.
