Welcome

Harworth & Bircotes Today.

A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken ~ James Dent

august already, and i hope that summer is still with us by the time you read this. What a fantastic July we have enjoyed, and what a difference it made to all the summer time events and end of term celebrations that could be enjoyed without the threat of rain. as i write this i am in the midst of sports days, school discos and end of term church services, a busy time for Mums as well as children!

The September issues will be delivered to you from 31st August, anything that you would like included should be with me by Saturday 3rd August. I know that this is very early, however, I would like to close the office and take some time off with my children this summer. They are growing up fast and there may be very few summers left where all 3 will have the luxury of the long school summer break, and I don’t want to look back and wish I had made more time to spend with them. So if you wish to submit something for inclusion in the September issues or to book any advertising space then you will need to get in touch straight away! Apologies if you are reading this a week or more after the initial distribution and have already missed the deadline.

community Hello everyone, what beautiful weather we are having at the moment, everyone looks so happy and smiley when the sun shines. However don’t forget animals get very stressed in this weather and need to be kept cool and in the shade when at all possible, also making sure they have access to lots of water. Not forgetting Never leave dogs or any animal in hot cars. You may think you are just going to be 10 minutes and your car in in the shade, but in that time the sun has moved and your beloved pet could have lost its life.

Could I say a big thank you to everyone that came to our Scruffs dog show in Tickhill. It was a huge success as usual and everyone had a terrific time. With your help we raised over £2000 which was amazing. Would anyone be interested in donating some time to help us with our garden at the Sanctuary? Maybe a retired person or someone with a few hours a week to spare? The hours would be flexible but some continuity would be appreciated. Please call us 01302 711330 if this appeals to you. (coffee, tea and maybe chocolate biscuits will be free)! T

Misty Female April 13th Yes ? Yes ?

Lulu was a stray taken in by a kind lady who found her trying to scavenge a meal from the bird table one cold frosty morning. Covered in ’sticky buds’ and with her beautiful fur horribly matted, Lulu was in quite a state. With most of the tangles groomed/cut out it was time to find her owner. When nobody came forward the lady decided to keep her but as she lived on a verY busy road, Lulu would have to be a housecat. Lulu was very unhappy about this as she longed to explore the garden so reluctantly here she is looking for a new home. Lulu loves people but certainly not other cats or dogs. That way she gets all the fuss!

A date for the diary with the Entrepreneur who means business one of Yorkshire’s own entrepreneurs, a man who has created eight million pound businesses over the last eight years and founded the UK’s largest membership organisation dedicated to helping businesses grow , The entrepreneur’s Circle (eC), is coming back to the county for a very special event.

As Terry explains: ‘Often it’s just one bit of insight, an idea, or a new perspective that can make the difference in business. On September 19th there’s going to be so much practical help and support available to South Yorkshire business owners at this great day. It’s all about getting Yorkshire businesses booming.”

Botterill, 47, who grew up in Leeds but who now lives in the Midlands, says ‘It’s a real privilege to come back to Nigel Botterill, who also wrote the Yorkshire and work with entrepreneurs Sunday Times Bestseller ‘The Botty Rules’, has linked up with South Yorkshire and business owners who have made business owner Terry Gormley to deliver the decision to be different and make a real, practical business help and advice difference - not just to their businesses, at Inspiring Business: Yorkshire 2013 at but how they live their lives. I’m really the Doncaster Racecourse in September. looking forward to it.”

This unique day is the ‘real deal’ for businesses who want to grow. Terry commented: “Whether you’re a new start-up, long-established company or anywhere in between, if you’re looking for an edge then this is the place to be. The guy has built 8 separate million pound businesses there must be something everyone can learn from him”. Arts Review & what’s going on - AUGUST 2013

Whats on: I have already told you about Christopher P Wood’s exhibition at the djanogly art Gallery in Nottingham, in the adjacent gallery is an exhibition by david Measures from 12 July to 26 august and a parallel show at rufford Craft Centre from 4 august to 8 september. David tragically died almost 2 years ago from Cancer, he was a lecturer of mine on the Fine Art course at Trent Poly in Nottingham. One of the nicest of men, and as an artist quite revolutionary in his pursuit of the study of the natural world, most notably butterflies and after he retired he went weekly to Cresbrookdale in Derbyshire to draw. As a lecturer he used to load up the minibus and drive us out to the countryside to draw in the depths of winter or at the coalface at Gedling Pit, or rehearsing orchestras in the concert hall in Nottingham. I am proud to have counted him as a friend. His work is wonderful and I would urge you all to go and visit one of these shows and reap some of his enjoyment of being out in a field, completely absorbed whilst observing what is around you. www. lakesidearts.org.uk . HOME OWNERS AGED 50+ Protect your home from future Care Home fees Does this sound familiar? “We’ve worked hard and saved all our lives, why should the Local Authority get it all?”

APRIL KING are your local specialists and most of our clients come to us having already made ‘Mirror Wills’. Rather than leaving everything to each other, you and your spouse (or partner) leave your respective share of your home to the children in Trust but say that they cannot have it whilst the surviving spouse/ partner is still alive. This half would then NOT be included in any future means test calculations. The surviving spouse is free to sell their share of the home, raise cash or move house. Your children are powerless to intervene but simply have to wait for their inheritance, as they would have done under your old ‘Mirror Will’. Do you Qualify? Property Trust Wills must be written whilst you are both still alive and in good mental health. Unfortunately, these are unsuitable if you are single or a surviving spouse who now owns the property outright. It is therefore important for couples to act now.

“We have made our Wills leaving everything to each other then to the children”. These are known as ‘Mirror Wills’. Sounds reassuring enough doesn’t it! But your children could in fact end up with very little or even nothing at all. The main reason for this is your surviving spouse requiring residential care when you are no longer here to look after them. Although the possibility of care may seem a long way off, there are steps your should take now to protect your home. Care Costs - If your surviving spouse has to go into care, they will have to use all their assets to pay for their care until they get down to their last £14,250. It is therefore not a good idea to leave your half share of the home in your Will to your surviving partner. The answer is to make new Property Trust Wills. You may be unaware that legislation is already in place for you to take advantage of these types of Wills.

Our free information pack tells you all you need to know about protecting your home from future care charges and also includes details of our special ‘Bloodline Trust Wills’ which prevent your children and grandchildren from losing their inheritance due to a child’s divorce, remarriage or financial difficulties.

Garden View

Designer Gardens it is estimated that just 3% of the UK population employ a professional garden designer, with most people opting to design their own outdoor space, or adapt one they may have inherited. The first decision to make when starting a plan is whether to make it look ‘designed’ or not. By this I mean do you like a structured garden with big sweeping curves and strong lines, formality and symmetry, or do you prefer a more informal space that looks like it ‘just happened’, almost by mistake, (these are much harder to achieve as you are often trying to recreate something nature does best). There was an industry debate recently which explored the idea of modern gardens being ‘over designed’. Just like in clothing fashion, there’s a revival of a certain era every so often, and it’s the same with design outdoors. Once up on a time, formal terraces were all the rage with pretty-coloured bedding schemes and clipped hedging. Then, decades later, these were dug up and replaced

with sweeping natural ‘landscapes’ , where trees and lakes were carefully located to make them appear as though they had always been there. Which is right? Well, neither, it’s personal taste and as long as it fits with the house style and surrounding landscape, I think you should do what makes you happy. After all, that’s what gardens are for, to be enjoyed. Once you’ve decided on a style, take some measurements of the boundaries, starting with the house. Use circles, curves, squares and rectangles to make some nice shapes on the plan, then choose a material to fill them in with. Usually the largest space will be the lawn, then patio or deck, and pathways, then fill the gaps with plants. Next month is the perfect time to plant, so we’ll be looking at planting plans in detail then. In 2008/2009, laws were introduced

TOP TIPS

Jobs to do this month include:   

12 12

Keep things simple. Don’t over complicate the basic design layout Use pergolas to add height and shade Consider hedges instead of fencing to add structure

 

Make space for at least one small tree Consider the maintenance of the new garden - decking and gravel are cheap, but require more maintenance in the long term

HARWORTH & BIRCOTES TODAY

regarding things like changing levels in your garden, such as only being allowed to raise decking by 30cm above ground level, any higher would require a protective rail or balustrade; and also the consideration of sustainable ways to manage water, and where possible retaining it within the garden. So, before planning any major works to your garden, check with your local planning department that you don’t need permission

Until next time, happy gardening,

Lee...

Musical Youth artist Janet Wood is on a mission to bring together doncaster’s musical youth in a brand new choir which will perform alongside other youth choirs in sheffield and Barnsley in a regional celebration of young voices.

It will be a choir with a difference. We want young people aged 11-19 to spend time in the gallery at The Point and use the visual art on display as inspiration for writing new songs and lyrics. Janet explains more: “This is a musical adventure driven by the young people themselves. The benefits of singing have been well documented. It’s a great way to express creativity and meet new friends. It’s also loads of fun and just makes you feel good!” Using visual arts to inspire choirs is all the rage this summer. The National

Portrait Gallery has just announced its new choir, and we hope that by 2014 the Yorkshire version will see 90 young people sharing their own words and music at a high profile regional arts venue. We’re running free taster sessions in the summer holidays for anyone aged 11-19 who wants to come along and give singing and songwriting a try. Wednesday 31st July 2.00-3.00pm Wednesday 14th august 2.00-3.00pm To book your place please call 01302 341662, email darts@ thepoint.org.uk check our website www.thepoint.org.uk/get-involved or pop into The Point for a chat. From September, the choir will meet at The Point early on Wednesday evenings during term time. These sessions will also be free. T

WIS MARTIN LE Fantasising about white sands, tropical palm trees, warm crystal waters…? Well, WaKe UP! even if you’ve already booked an overseas holiday this summer, there’s work to be done to protect your pocket so you have more cash to spend on enjoying yourself. The later you leave sorting out holiday essentials, the more difficult and expensive things get. so long before you chuck your bikini or trunks into your case, follow my holiday Moneysaving‘need to knows’and save yourself £100s. PERMANENTLY HOLSTER UNBEATABLE EXCHANGE RATES Forget cash, travellers cheques or bureaux de change. You can smash these exchange rates with ease. The unexpected saviour here is a credit card—not just any card though, one of five specialist cards. These give you cheap spending when abroad, in the hopes you’ll also use the card at home. But don’t bother—I pop mine in my travel wallet and it only sees the light of day in the sun. To understand why they’re good, you first need to know that all plastic providers get the Visa and Mastercard wholesale exchange rate, which is near perfect. Yet most add a hidden 3% load to the rate they give us. Specialist cards 18 18

Travel tips are load-free worldwide. These cards are Halifax Clarity, Saga (over-50s), Post Office and for Nationwide Customers ONLY, it’s Select Card. If you have a Santander Zero credit card then that’s also load-free, but no longer available to new customers. Only do this though if you pay off the card in full each month. For full details see www.mse.me/travelcards. BEWARE DEBIT CARDS ABROAD The very worst way to spend abroad is on what I call the debit cards from hell. Most not only add a hidden load to the exchange rate, they also charge a fee of between £1 to £1.50 penalty each time you spend on the card. So buy something costing £5 worth of euros and you’ll pay up to £6.50 for it. GET TRAVEL INSURANCE NOW OR YOU MIGHT NOT BE COVERED If you’ve booked and don’t have insurance, you’re not covered for cancellation or collapse. Go away more than twice a year including city breaks and policies covering a year’s travel are usually cheaper. If you are going away just one time, then use www.moneysupermarket. com, www.confused.com or www. gocompare.com to find cheap cover. If you’re not online, it’s costlier but most major supermarkets offer reasonably cheap policies. ENSURE YOU KNOW HOW TO TURN OFF SMARTPHONE DATA ROAMING Even if you don’t use the web overseas, apps can download £100s of data in the background. So you need to know how to turn off data roaming to protect yourself. Most phones have the option in settings. Plus never watch TV via 3G—mobile web watchers pay hideous penalties, for example: Three charges £10/MB in Canada. As a 30min TV programme uses 500MB, an episode of Hollyoaks could leave you paying £5,000. BOOK CHEAP CAR HIRE SOONER AND BEAT HIDDEN NASTIES If you need car hire overseas this summer, sort it out ASAP. Use

comparisons www.kayak.co.uk/cars and www.carrentals.co.uk. One thing to watch out for is many cheap firms charge upfront for a fuel tank and let you return it empty. For low mileage drivers, this can add £100 to the cost. Factor it in and pick a smaller car for a smaller fuel tank. Often car hire comes with collision damage waiver insurance that covers the car if you have an accident. Yet these often have huge excesses of £500. To cover this problem of their own making, car hire companies push costly ‘no excess’ insurance. Check if you can get excess cover for a fraction of the cost via comparison site www.MoneyMaxim.co.uk. FIND THE CHEAPEST FOREIGN CURRENCY Never change your currency at the airport. They know you’re a captive customer, and you get hideous rates. If you’re so late it’s the only option, at least call up in advance and pre-order when you tend to get an improved deal. www.travelmoneymax.com tool compares all the best rates. SLASH THE COST OF AIRPORT PARKING The sooner you book parking spaces the cheaper. Comparison sites like www. aph.com and www.Skyparksecure.com hunt for you. Also consider booking a night in an airport hotel. They sometimes offer a week’s parking with a night’s stay, which is occasionally cheaper than parking alone elsewhere. DON’T GOOGLE TO GET/RENEW EHICS, PASSPORTS AND ESTAS Many shyster sites appear, looking like official sites, but charge extra fees for nothing. Three to watch out for: A) EHICs are always free. Millions have expired though, so check yours is still in date—and always take it with you. The official site is www.nhs.uk/EHIC. B) ESTAs only cost $14. If you’re going to the US, go via the official site at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov C) Passports To ensure you’re not paying more than needed, go to gov.uk/renew-adult-passport.

community Parents are being asked to be extra vigilant in relation to the whereabouts of their children, and also what they are up to when out with friends.

A Message from Sergeant Crofts

Issues with Underage Drinking

Recently in Bassetlaw a 13yr old female was admitted to Hospital suffering from very excessive alcohol consumption. The young girl it would appear had made use of a Social Network Site on which a “drinking party” had been arranged. That party was NOT at a property, where parents could monitor, it was quite the opposite in terms of location, being deliberately held at a remote field on the outskirts of the town where parents were unlikely to be able to monitor. That in itself is cause for concern. The young girl was picked up by ambulance in an unconscious state and subsequently had to be placed on a ventilator at hospital, in effect on a life support machine. Thankfully she has pulled through and has spent time on the Intensive Care Unit. The circumstances may shock some. I make no apologies for that. The fact is that Parents need to ensure that they not only monitor their children’s whereabouts, but also the friends they are mixing with and the locations they are visiting, together with their actions and what they are up to at those locations. One of the best ways to address the issue of kids and alcohol is to build relationships with the parents of your children’s friends. This provides an immediate network of support, information and advice and a forum to discuss the issues. More importantly, it allows parents to develop a set of ground rules as a group – ensuring your child and their friends are receiving consistent messages about what’s okay and what’s not when it comes to alcohol. I’m not saying this will always be easy. I’d also encourage parents, where possible, to agree on what they will do when it comes to alcohol out of the home – house parties, for example. Will alcohol be allowed? Will there be enough soft drinks? How will

these rules be enforced? Explain to your kids that alcohol is only for adults and that there is a sociable side to alcohol, but if you drink too much there can be bad consequences for your health and safety. If you know your child is drinking, make sure they’re aware of the risks and give them tips to help them stay safe. If they’re going out, find out who they are with and what they are planning to do. Agree with your children that if they ever get into a situation involving alcohol where they feel uncomfortable, they can call and get picked up, no questions asked. Listening is important too. How many older brothers or sisters who are old enough to purchase drink are passing this on to younger brothers or sisters, or indeed friends? Allowing your child to talk

and encouraging conversation may provide some detail which could be shared to good effect. The below link provides access to a site with some excellent information regarding this subject. http://www.drinkingandyou.com/ site/pdf/parentsguide.pdf Thankfully the circumstances described above do not occur with any obvious regularity, or do they? I would hope that the circumstances explained in this item serve to ALERT parents to the dangers of such behaviour, and encourage Parents and their young to act in a responsible manner. Hopefully by doing so, such circumstances can be reduced further. sgt 879 Crofts Harworth Neighbourhood Policing sergeant. community Don’t leave a present for Santa Claws this Christmas

A monthly look at ways to Combat Crime, with East Bassetlaw’s Neighbourhood Policing Inspector, Neil Bellamy.

SUMMER – a time for fun… and tolerance

it’s midsummer, a time when we all like to get outside and – hopefully – enjoy some decent weather. Summer is a time for barbecues, parties and picnics with burnt sausages and burgers if dad is doing the cooking. But while it is a great time for enjoying yourself, it is also a time to show some consideration for your neighbours. The police don’t like being party poopers and killjoys, but if you are having a party in you back garden, please spare a thought for your neighbours. Don’t have the music too loud, especially late at night. You might be able to enjoy a lie in the next day, but your neighbour may have to get up for work. Similarly, if your neighbour is having a garden party or a barbecue, show him some tolerance. You could be having an outdoor party next week with music and noise coming from your garden. And if things do get too noisy or go on until the early hours, then a FRIENDLY word will usually do the trick rather than going 22 22

round with all guns blazing. And if you are going to a garden party or a barbecue where you are likely to have a drink, please leave the car at home. On a warm summer’s night it is all too easy to be tempted by an extra lager from the ‘fridge or another glass of chilled white wine. But the police are just as vigilant in summer as they are at Christmas and throughout the year. If you walk or you take a taxi, that extra drink will only result in a headache or a hangover, but it could cost you a great deal more than that if you are driving. Remember, the police can ask you to take a breath test if they suspect you have been drinking, or if you commit a traffic offence while driving. You don’t have to be involved in an accident. And if you do have one or two too many, don’t be in a hurry to get in the car the next morning. You could still be over the limit, and a cold shower, a cup of coffee or any of the other myths about sobering up won’t make you fit to drive any quicker.

Time is the only thing that will get the alcohol out of your system. You may think you are in control of the car, but even the smallest amount of alcohol affects your ability to drive safely. You will have slower reactions and a reduced field of vision. Alcohol affects your judgement of speed and distance and leads to over confidence and increased risk taking – increasing the danger to all road users, including yourself. enjoy your summer. T

Harworth & Bircotes Town Council - AUGUST 2013 This is ‘Good News’ Month. i have a lot to tell you, and for me some of it is the result of months and sometimes years of working behind the scenes. When all that effort starts to pay off and becomes a reality, then i become convinced that being a Town Councillor and district Councillor is worth all the hard work, despite all the hassle and earache. so here goes:-

Local Authority Mortgage Scheme I mentioned this some months ago; the good news is that Bassetlaw District Council will be launching the scheme end of August/early September. Further good news is that County is looking to match our £1m fund with a further million, which means that at least 76 instead of 38 first time buyers will be helped to purchase their own home. How to qualify? You must be a first time buyer, the price of the property must not exceed £130,000, and you must already live in Bassetlaw. Remember, the intention is to help those seeking to get their foot on the property ladder and who can provide a 5% deposit but would struggle to find a 25% deposit, as is usually required nowadays; Bassetlaw District Council will provide the remaining 20% deposit, thus successful applicants get the benefit of a 75% mortgage. Most first time buyers will start at the lower end of the housing market, and as with any mortgage, applicants will be vetted by the building society to check that the monthly mortgage repayments are affordable to the purchaser. Watch out for the launch date in the local press. 24 24

Airey Houses For some time myself, Frank Hart and Dave Challinor have been ‘beating the drum’ on behalf of residents about this type of council housing, which is well past its sell-by date. You will know that Bassetlaw District Council changed from Conservative to Labour two years ago, and the good news is that they have made housing a priority, and have listened to your District councillors. We are at the start of what will be a major project in Harworth, replacing Airey house council stock with new homes on Common Lane/Styrrup Road, Smith Square and Thompson Avenue. We believe this will take about four years to complete, and currently B.D.C. is tendering for proposals from builders/designers/ architects, and working closely with A1 Housing, so we are at the very start of the project. We believe the most important thing is to consult with tenants and this will be happening shortly; we recognise that everyone has their individual housing needs and preferences, and we will do our very best to accommodate these.

More Good News

are having to absorb drastic cuts to their budget, and some communities have lost their Police presence as services have been reconfigured. This is not going to happen in Harworth and Bircotes, instead local Police services, which includes the rapid response team, will be moving into our Community Information Centre. The Police will occupy half of the building, so a few internal structural changes will be required, and there will be an extension to the rear of the building. Obviously, security will be a high priority, and the Police will be completely separate from all other services. When will this happen? Probably next year – plans, building costs, planning approval will all have to be agreed before any building work begins.

What about the other services? They will continue to operate from the Community Information Centre and yes, there is enough space – everyone who enters the building is surprised at the number of rooms – which is why I call it the Tardis. Why has H&B Council agreed to this? - Because we greatly value our Police and don’t want to lose them

Changes for the Police: I have been in discussion with the Police Authority for many months now; as you are aware, the Police Service

community community from this community. Yes, initially there will be some inconvenience to us, but the biggest issue is for our local Police force having to move from their station of many years to different premises owned by the Council. We will do our very best to make them feel welcome.

A Commercial Development: A company has now gained outline planning permission to develop the triangular-shaped piece of land that sits between the A1M and the road linking Blyth roundabout to Harworth. The land starts near Blyth roundabout and ends before the spoil heap, or tip. What does this mean? The intention is to build offices, storage units and, I understand, units for people to learn skills/get support/and eventually be in a position to set up their own business. I have met the gentlemen backing this venture, and they have a keen interest in people and their well-being. One issue already apparent for people living on Blyth Road/ Harworth Avenue is traffic, especially heavy goods vehicles. I believe this Council should petition Highways to look at better traffic management on this stretch of road. Why is this development good news? Hopefully, it will generate local jobs for local people, though it will take several years before the development is up and running.

A Personal Comment: I get tired of hearing the usual moans from those without vision who repeatedly complain about Council efforts to improve the appearance of our community. No, it is not ‘a waste of money’. Hanging baskets, planters, better seats, more waste and dog bins, and attractive gateway signs – they are all there for the benefit of local people, as is the Town Hall, Sure

Start, improved Public Toilets and the Community Information Centre acting as a local hub of services for our residents to access. These improvements also serve another purpose; they send out a clear message to District and County Council that things are happening here, and that we are worthy of further investment. That message is also intended for commercial investors, and at last we are getting the attention we need and deserve.

• Notts. County has also agreed to fund the installation of metal poles along the corner of Grosvenor/Scrooby Road. The intention is to stop the practice of dangerous parking - partly on the pavement and partly on the road, preventing cars and buses accessing the mini roundabout.

Yes, I know we have empty shops – who hasn’t- but I and my Councillor colleagues are doing our best to make things happen, to make things better.

So What Else? • More street Furniture installed – more waste bins on the shop fronts, and new seats in Old Harworth. It is a pleasure to see people, on warm sunny days, sitting together on the seating along the shop fronts and chatting. • The Balancing Pond on Blyth Road is almost complete, top soil will be laid and levelled, and secure fencing installed. The paperwork is currently with our solicitors, and hopefully the management of the pond will shortly be transferred from U.K. Coal to H&B Town Council • i.T.v. spent a day in July filming Harworth Brass band in the Town Hall. Jane McDonald was also present; I understand she is the presenter of the programme in which the band will feature. • Notts. County Highways have met with several Town Councillors and agreed to resurface more of the footpath along Styrrup Road, starting from the junction with Common Lane and continuing along Main Street to Harworth Crossroads. On this occasion, only the path on the post office side of the road will be mended.

• dog Fouling: Act of Parliament. B.D.C. has agreed a new policy based on this legislation – more information will be available shortly. Basically, just pick it up and bin it, be responsible and avoid a fine. • Food Bank. We are acting as an outpost for this voluntary scheme that is currently running (with increasing demand) in Worksop and Retford. A food parcel is provided, but only to people referred to us, and this is usually a one-off event. Why does this happen? Well, people on benefits whose circumstances and consequent payments change often experience a delay in those payments whilst waiting for their records to be amended. How do you feed your children if you have an empty purse? Better, I think, to receive a food parcel than fall into the clutches of a loan shark! • People can donate items of tinned or dry food at the Town Hall or Community Information Centre – you can be sure it

Finally, To Make You Smile All this talk about housing reminded me of our first house, bought in 1966. The price was £2,200 with monthly repayments of £14.76p. We had bare stairs for three years, borrowed furniture from family members, and had no need for a garage as we couldn’t afford a car. We bought nothing new until we had saved enough money to pay for it. But guess what? We were happy. How times have changed.

Big Thank you A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who supported the Afternoon Tea event for Harworth Brass Band & Bassetlaw Twinning Association, It raised £600 which was split equal between the two groups. Thank you Cllr david Challinor T 26 26
