Love Stories
We love reading them and, most of all, we love the chance to share yours. All the happy moments, the warm and fuzzy feels with family and friends, the busy lead up to what is one of the most important days in your life – one thing’s for sure, the plot’s not just about the big day. All the joy and anticipation and planning that goes into it – from the engagement “Yes, I’ll marry you!” to the moment you walk down the aisle as newlyweds – are chapters in your journey as a couple.
Speaking of journeys, in the spring of 2024, my family was blessed to host an engagement celebration, after the groom-to-be popped the question to his girlfriend in the summer of 2023. The wedding is booked for June 2025. It seemed like ages away at the time, but in today’s landscape of wedding planning, it’s not unrealistic to start the whole process two years – or even earlier – in advance.
A big part of the story is how you show and tell it when your wedding day arrives. We’re in love with how nature is influencing bridal design and decor themes. Garden-party floral overlays, embroidery, appliques, beading and more were spotted on gowns, trains and veils on the bridal fashion show runways; details like blossom-inspired jewelry and flower-trimmed interiors are in full bloom at wedding venues –where employing an abundance of natural elements beyond the centrepiece is all the rage.
Whether providing planning tips and wedding trends or sharing expert advice and inspiration, at Today’s Bride, we’re honoured to be part of every page of your romance, from engagement to wedding day to honeymoon and beyond. Here’s to a lifetime of love stories.

MAKING IT LAST
KEEPING PRODUCTS ON HAND FOR TOUCH UPS CAN ENSURE BRIDES AND GROOMS ARE PHOTO-READY ALL DAY LONG
BY LUCY MAZZUCCO
While a clean and moisturized face is the best canvas for a flawless makeup application, it’s important to plan for the unexpected and be equipped for quick and effective touch ups. After all, emotional speeches, snack breaks or even sudden weather changes can all impact even the most well-prepped face.
When it comes to choosing products, Kelli Anne Sewell, celebrity makeup artist and founder of Makeup by Kelli Anne, says that it’s important not to try anything new too close to the wedding. “You want to avoid introducing new products at least a month or two before the big day so as to not irritate the skin,” says Sewell.
Victory Loves Preparation
While a consistent skincare routine can help achieve a flawless look, priming the skin is just as important to create a solid base that will require less touch ups. “For any long-lasting makeup look, you want to make sure skin is prepped before application,” says Sewell. “I’d also recommend that for any areas where you get shiny, to use a mattifying primer.”
Practice Makes Perfect
To get a better feel for which products brides and grooms should keep on hand and how many touch ups they will require, Sewell recommends trying out the makeup look in advance. “I always recommend brides do a trial run with their makeup artist, or themselves if they are doing their own makeup, at least six months before the big day,” says Sewell. “During that trial, you’ll be able to see how the makeup wears. If you find yourself oily after a few hours, tweak your skin prep.”
To control shine, Sewell suggests using a blurring stick and priming the skin with a water-based moisturizer. She also recommends setting the areas with a long-lasting powder and waterproof setting spray (both of which can be kept on hand), to help lock everything in.
All in the Layers
In terms of techniques for touch ups, Sewell recommends makeup products that allow for layering. “You want to pick formulas that allow you to build in light layers,” she says, and suggests investing in a good quality foundation and powder, long wear lip liner formula and waterproof mascara. “Layering sheer layers of creams or liquids and sheer powders and setting them with a great waterproof setting spray is the best way to ensure your makeup lasts all night.”

A SOLID SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR THE FACE IS CRUCIAL FOR WEDDING-READY SKIN, BUT IT’S IMPORTANT NOT TO FORGET TREATING THE NECK AND DÉCOLLETAGE
BY LUCY MAZZUCCO
When it comes to achieving flawless skin in time for the big day, many people tend to focus solely on the face. While it’s a good start, incorporating the neck and décolletage (which are often left out of a skincare routine), is also a must, especially with off-theshoulder and strapless gowns starring on the aisles. “Your neck and décolletage area are just as important to treat as your face and hands are. The neck and décolletage naturally have less elasticity than the skin on your face and are the areas that are the fastest to age,” says Nadia Paglia, head of education at Dermalogica Canada.
Casey Georgeson, founder of luxury skincare brand Saint Jane, also believes that because of the delicate nature of
these areas, it’s important to include them in a daily skincare routine. “The neck and décolletage are an extension of your face and deserve just as much love. These areas have
“Your neck and décolletage area are just as important to treat as your face and hands are”
delicate, thinner skin that’s more vulnerable to signs of aging like sagging, wrinkles and uneven texture,” says Georgeson. “They’re also exposed to environmental stressors like
sun damage and pollution, so incorporating them into your daily routine is crucial for maintaining a youthful, radiant look from head to chest.”
Never Skip SPF
To keep skin protected, Paglia says SPF is key, particularly on the neck and décolletage, which are prone to premature aging and sun damage. “They have just as much opportunity for UV exposure – especially when you are exercising or wearing clothing with a lower neckline,” says Paglia. “UV damage leads to pigmentation, and loss of collagen and elastin.”
Since UV damage is one of the biggest culprits behind premature aging, Georgeson also stresses the importance of protecting
the skin wherever it’s touched by the sun. “Think about it – what’s the point of having a glowing face if your neck and chest tell a different story? Consistent SPF use in these areas helps prevent wrinkles, discolouration and even more serious conditions,” says Georgeson.
Hydration is Key
Paglia says it’s also important to use products with the right ingredients for the neck and décolletage. “When cleansing your face both morning and night, you want to also cleanse those areas and treat them the same way as a preventative or corrective solution,” says Paglia, who recommends hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin tissue and vitamin C to brighten and protect the skin from negative elements in the environment. “I personally always incorporate treating my neck and décolletage and giving it the attention it deserves.”
Step by Step
In terms of a routine, Georgeson recommends starting with a gentle, hydrating cleanser, exfoliating one to two times per week, and using a peptide-packed moisturizer. She also suggests using retinol at night to stimulate collagen and smooth fine lines, and vitamin C during the day to brighten and protect the skin from free radicals. “Finish with a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every morning,” says Georgeson, who can’t stress this enough. “Don’t forget this step – it’s your skin’s ultimate defense against aging.”

Three Times A LADY
Mikaella Bernstein of Canadian bridal houses Paloma Blanca and Mikaella Bridal gives us her take on what’s next
1 ELEVATED SIMPLICITY
“Our latest collection celebrates elevated simplicity, highlighting clean lines and refined silhouettes that let the bride’s beauty shine through,” says Bernstein. Minimalist silhouettes paired with luxurious fabrics allow for a timeless elegance that never goes out of style, she adds. Corset bodices provide a structured yet effortlessly clean look, while exposed boning and hand-painted tulle appliqués take elevated simplicity to new heights— the perfect balance of minimalism and luxury.
2 VERSATILE DESIGNS
“This season, we’re introducing more adaptable elements that cater to the modern bride’s desire for adaptability,” says Bernstein. “Detachable sleeves, overskirts and statement bows allow brides to transform their look without needing a second dress.” Look for striking fit-and-flare silhouettes, sweep trains and detachable overskirts, perfect for the bride who seeks both elegance and drama.
3 BOLD TEXTURES
Bold textures are bringing a fresh dimension to bridal fashion, adding depth and visual interest to each creation, says Bernstein. “Our latest collection features an exciting array of new fabrics, from embroidered corded tulle to burnout organza, creating a visual impact that feels both modern and timeless. These textures enhance the gown’s silhouette and provide a unique tactile experience for brides looking for something beyond traditional fabrics.” Intricate textures bring richness and character to a gown, creating a look that is unforgettable and refreshingly modern.

The making of Millie Bobby Brown’s gown for her wedding to Jake Bongiovi
BY VIVIAN VASSOS
When Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown said “I do” to Jake Bongiovi, she chose to design her own custom-made ceremony dress, a collaboration with the bridal design house Galia Lahav inspired by the line’s Anais gown (below). “Designing a wedding gown for such a talented actress was a true honour,” says head designer Sharon Sever. The ethereal gown, crafted from the finest lace and featuring a flowing silhouette, perfectly complemented Millie’s youthful elegance. It was a modern and fashion-forward interpretation of classic bridal style, reflecting her personal taste and the romantic ambience of the setting – a multi-day celebration that took place in Tuscany, Italy. “Millie Bobby brought depth and complexity to her iconic role in Stranger Things, and now she brings grace and beauty to her special day in another iconic way. I can’t wait to see her shine as she steps into a new chapter of her life,” adds Sever.

The Lighter SIDE
When Canadian rising country music star Owen Riegling married Liv, his longtime love, he was on trend: he traded the black tux – but not the bow tie or his boots
BY VIVIAN VASSOS
Many grooms are choosing to take a lighter approach to wedding day dressing – with white, tan, grey and pale blue all making appearances up the aisle. Owen Riegling chose a champagne-toned suit, but the details are what makes this look elevated; adding a waistcoat and black bow tie feels polished but not uptight. His groomsmen balanced his look by matching Owen’s jacket, but with black trousers. The “Old Dirt Roads” singer’s star is certainly rising, after being named the CCMA’s breakthrough artist of the year and opening the 2024 CFL Grey Cup in Vancouver. But he and his bride kept it down to earth by choosing Owen’s parents' 100-acre farm in rural Ontario as their wedding venue, using the natural beauty of the farm as their inspiration.

1. ETHICAL WAYS
“It all started with my father,” says Virginie Roy, the founder and lead designer of Proud Diamond. “He worked with diamonds, but I was not as enthusiastic because of how they are mined.” Putting her convictions to work, Roy helped to develop a lab-grown stone that would meet her – and her father’s – highly trained standards. The diamonds are as near flawless as the mined variety, and even pleased her father’s discerning eye. “Oval-shaped diamonds and gemstones are making a comeback,” says Roy. “But I work with the wearer to create their own special piece of jewelry.”

2. COLOUR CUES
Toronto-based fine jewelry designer Anne Sportun celebrated the opening of her redesigned store in the city’s Queen Street West neighbour hood in 2024. Sportun, who has been in the biz for more than 35 years, says, “Solitaires continue to be our most requested style, with more brides moving away from a prong-set stone and gravitating towards smooth bezel settings for a clean and elegant design.” Antique-cut diamonds,

3. GO PEAR-SHAPED
“Simple layered pieces with a little sparkle are making their way onto runways and down wedding aisles,” says Erin Tracy, the designer behind Erin Tracy Bridal and Fine Jewellery that celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. Gold is definitely not out, says the Toronto-based designer, but she’s seeing a lot more silver tones. As for rings, “pear-shaped gems with a contour band and baguette shapes are trending.” Looking for a bridesmaid gift? Tracy suggests chain-link style bracelets or chunky hoop earrings. She also designs for men, and textures and layering are all gaining popularity.

For her wedding to Edmonton Oilers’ superstar Connor McDavid, Lauren Kyle revealed diamonds are this girl’s best friend
BY VIVIAN VASSOS
After more than a decade together, Lauren Kyle and Connor McDavid, the captain of the Edmonton Oilers, tied the knot where McDavid proposed. It’s a place that’s very special to the couple, Kyle told Vogue magazine earlier this year, and where they share a cottage. The summer ceremony was held by the water on a floating dock, off the shore of Old Woman Island
in Lake Muskoka. Kyle, an interior designer, chose Tiffany & Co. jewelry to enhance the five looks she wore over the course of the wedding weekend, including vintage Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta and, for her walk down the aisle, Vivienne Westwood Couture. Here, we take a look at how Kyle shone like a diamond on her big day.

A Fairytale Romance
When planning their July 2024 wedding, Charlot and Jonathan knew they needed a destination where their families, who are scattered throughout Europe, could “meet in the middle.” They settled on Portugal’s Valverde Sintra Palácio de Seteais, a five-star hotel set in the mountainside of Sintra that instantly brought tears to Charlot’s eyes. With its expansive grounds and opulent interiors, Valverde was the perfect choice for a fairytale wedding, one that blended European elegance with a touch of Portuguese charm.
LIGHT & AIRY: Charlot looked like a princess in her Pnina Tornai gown, which she says had all the magic of a modern fairytale. “I loved the elegant square neckline, accented with beautiful embroidery. There was something special about the way I felt in it.”
LET’S EAT CAKE! Award-winning cake designer Julie Deffense created a four-tier custom masterpiece that tasted just as good as it looked, with layers of caramel and almond Swiss meringue buttercream encased in an all-white palette with subtle gold accents.
MAGIC MOMENTS: Looking like royalty, Charlot arrived at the wedding with her father in a horse and carriage to the beautiful melodies of a string quartet. The couple’s first dance was choregraphed by awardwinning dance teacher Antoaneta Popova. And when the sun set, Charlot and Jonathan handed out sparklers while DJ Zecka Pinheiro kept the energy high all night long.

Love Grows Here
Linette and Michael’s March 2024 wedding in Burnaby, BC, was a true labour of love. A selfproclaimed DIY bride, Linette made the wedding party’s corsages and bud vases, while her mother grew 15 varieties of succulents and plants over a period of 1.5 years to give to each guest as a wedding favour. With personal touches like these, the day felt truly theirs, filled with love and gratitude for their 140 friends and family who travelled from all over the world to help celebrate.

SWEET & PRETTY: Held at Riverway Clubhouse, the wedding was a sophisticated affair, with a white, cream and blush colour palette complemented by dainty blooms like roses, ranunculus and orchids. The two-tier lemon and chocolate toffee cake perfectly matched the floral motif, as did Linette’s gorgeous ceremony dress from the Bridal Gallery. She also wore a traditional Vietnamese Áo dài for a morning tea ceremony, and a modern Chinese dress she changed into in the evening.
FUN DETAILS: Instead of tossing the bouquet, Linette tossed a pair of Hello Kitty plush toys, clad in wedding outfits that her mom stitched herself. The couple also printed their dogs’ faces on cocktail napkins, performed a choreographed routine as their first dance, and created a custom song inspired by their relationship for Linette to walk down the aisle to.
A Western Wedding
As the saying goes, distance makes the heart grow fonder, at least for Katie and Chris. The couple, who met in university, only started dating years later when Chris moved to Calgary, kickstarting a longdistance relationship that eventually led to a walk down the aisle in November 2023. Their cowboycountry-inspired wedding, which included 140 of their family and friends, perfectly reflected their differing personalities – classic, elegant and fun to boot.
KEEP IT SIMPLE: Katie and Chris wanted a classic look for their wedding, choosing the simplicity of long-stemmed roses and a small salted caramel cake for their wedding cake. The Azureridge Estate Hotel was the perfect venue for their vision, with floor-to-ceiling windows that set the stage for sunset vows.
HOWDY Y’ALL! As a fun nod to Katie’s small-town roots, the couple passed out lightup cowboy hats on the dance floor, which, coincidentally, also lit up! The result? A glow-inthe-dark party that got people out of their seats and showing off their best moves.

A Full Circle Wedding
You can find just about anything at Costco, even the love of your life, as Dennis and Mladen have proven. After meeting during the pandemic and having their first date at their local Costco, (one of the few places open to the public at the time), Dennis would later get down on one knee and propose to Mladen on a walking trail he used to frequent as a child. The two would then tie the knot in April 2024 at Elora Mill in Elora, Ontario, where they spent their first vacation as a couple, another fullcircle moment they shared with their beloved family and friends.
ELEGANCE + CLASS: Dennis and Mladen aimed for a timeless look for their wedding, with black and white being the main colour scheme. A violinist and cello players set the mood at the reception, and instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple wowed the crowd with a showstopping Champagne tower.
SETTING THE STAGE: “The venue was perfect, providing a sophisticated atmosphere that matched our theme perfectly,” says Mladen. “Elora Mill’s beautiful architecture and décor added a timeless charm to the entire event.”

Love in Bloom
Growing up on a farm in Newfoundland, Havie knew from the start that flowers would play an essential role in her August 2024 wedding to Kurtis. All the blooms and greenery used in the bouquets, boutonnieres and arrangements were grown, foraged and picked on her father’s and stepmother’s farm prior to the wedding. This ensured that her father, who had passed away in 2017, was remembered and honoured, adding a sentimental touch to a day that infused fun and tradition at every turn.
LOCAL CHARMS: After exchanging vows at a church in Topsail, the couple and their 110 guests celebrated at the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club in Conception Bay South, dining on fish and chips and dancing to Newfoundland music.
FAMILY & FRIENDS: Havie looked stunning in her mother’s wedding dress. The wedding cake, made by Havie’s childhood best friend, was cut and put away, only to be shared and served the following day at brunch with the couple’s closest friends and family.
KISS & TELL! As per local tradition, all out-oftown guests were ‘screeched in,’ which involved drinking a shot of screech (rum) and kissing a cod on the mouth. Pucker up!

An Ode to Culture
Nithya and Benjamin wanted their January 2023 Toronto wedding to feel like a modern love letter to their respective cultures – India and Ghana. They hosted an intimate, family-only Hindu ceremony complete with symbolic rituals to honour their ancestors, followed by a full-blown reception that included 100 of their loved ones from around the world. From the décor and music to the food and fashion, every detail was intentionally selected to blend their individual backgrounds, resulting in a deeply personal and authentic celebration that popped with colour from start to finish.
PAYING TRIBUTE: For the ceremony, Nithya wore a navy blue and red silk saree inspired by one from India that her grandmother wore. “This outfit felt like an homage to the grace and strength of vintage South Indian women who’ve inspired me deeply,” she says.
PERSONAL TOUCHES: Nithya’s sister officiated the couple’s ring exchange, while artist and close friend Kæyæ Alo serenaded them for their first dance. A Polaroid station doubled as the wedding guest book, inviting guests to capture memories and leave them heartfelt notes. Guests were also encouraged to visit a makeshift candy bar and fill up ‘doggy bags’ featuring an image of the couple’s dog, Pancakes.
LET LOOSE! Nithya paired her beautiful, gold reception saree with Air Jordans while Benjamin topped off his dapper look with classic Converse sneakers. Their fancy footwear proved invaluable on the dance floor, with DJ Mensa spinning all their favourite songs. “It was exactly the vibe we wanted – fun and filled with music we loved!” says Nithya.

DARK After
How a pro captures the moments when the lights go down
There’s something elegant and intimate about having wedding photographs that are taken after the sun sets. We asked Calgarybased photographer Sofia Katherine, who specializes in low-light environments, wedding storytelling, portraits at night, large-scale live music events “and generally anything in a night setting,” to share her top tips and favourite photos. “I typically photograph around 15 weddings and 50 night sessions per year,” she says, “along with a schedule consistently packed with unique low light shoots.”
Today’s Bride: How do you define night photography?
Night photography encompasses capturing images after dark. I categorize it into two main areas: true night photography, which involves shooting in environments with minimal ambient lighting, such as a forest on a moonless night, and ambient night photography, where there is some room lighting present, like at a wedding reception or downtown with the city lights glowing.
TB: Why do you think night photography is so impactful, particularly for weddings?
Nighttime evokes some of life’s most romantic moments: candlelit dinners, fireworks displays, stargazing under a blanket, or cozying up by a warm fire. Night photography, with its inherent romantic and moody ambience, can elevate wedding images, allowing viewers to truly feel the essence of the event rather than just seeing it.
“Night photography, with its inherent romantic and moody ambience, can elevate wedding images, allowing viewers to truly feel the essence of the event rather than just seeing it.”
TB: With weddings, nightfall is when the festivities are in full swing. How do you get couples to carve out time during the festivities to take photos? And how much time do you actually need to shoot?
I’ve always advised couples, “Make time for just you two on your wedding day.” After the ceremonial events, I take them away from the reception for a “night shoot.” While their guests enjoy the festivities, the couple spends 15 minutes with me, often doing something fun like sharing a glass of champagne, enjoying a cigar, or taking a leisurely walk to admire the city lights or starry sky. This approach makes the night photoshoot feel less formal and more like a special moment for the couple to cherish.
TB: What tips, if any, do you give wedding couples to make night photography more effective?
My advice for couples is to have patience with their photographer because they may need
a few moments to figure out the settings for night, which are not the easiest. I am fast, but it has only come from years of experience. Grab a couple of drinks and just enjoy each other.
TB: What do couples need to know about night photography before they book? Is it right for every couple/every wedding?
We discuss how their venue and timeline choices will impact their night photography desires, similar to the considerations a light and bright photographer might have with their clients. For instance, if a reception venue lacks windows and is very dark, I am delighted. This allows me to use lighting techniques and work my magic in a low-light environment. I often advise couples to schedule me later into the evening. As a result, many couples opt to forgo getting ready photos with me, prioritizing more candid shots of their guests in the evening and night photoshoots at the end of the day.
TB: What makes a venue ideal for night photography?
Somewhere away from city lights where light pollution is at its lowest, such as Jasper, which is a dark
sky preserve. Dark sky preserves are protected areas that make a special commitment to protect and preserve the night, reducing or eliminating light pollution in all forms. These areas are best for astrophotography portraits (photos with the stars). If a couple is determined to have night photography on their wedding, we can literally make it happen anywhere because nighttime always happens. There is no rescheduling a wedding, we go out and make the best of what we are given.
TB: What was your most
One of the most memorable wedding night shoots was a recent one, where we witnessed the aurora borealis appear literally steps outside the reception venue during the night shoot. Their wedding was scheduled close to a new moon night, ensuring a dark sky, and they deliberately selected a venue away from city lights, allowing the northern lights to bless them from the sky. It was nothing short of magical. The bride had expressed her desire for northern lights photos for her wedding, to which I jokingly responded, “You can’t just ask for those, and it would be shocking if you got them.” And indeed, she did.

WEDiquette
Common courtesies to consider – before, during and after your wedding ceremony
BY THE MARRY MEN WEDDING OFFICIANTS
lanning a wedding involves a whirlwind of emotions, logistics and traditions. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, there is a certain degree of WEDiquette that needs to be considered. As wedding officiants, we’ve had the honour of being part of countless celebrations and witnessing firsthand the beauty and, at times, the challenges that come with it. An efficient officiant will help set the tone by offering a calming presence and a level of expertise that can manage any unforeseen issues. But remember, your officiant is not your planner. Here, a few do’s and don’ts of good WEDiquette to consider before, during and after your ceremony.
Before The Ceremony
Avoid Wedding Party Woes The wedding party’s priority is to keep the couple calm, especially if any wedding day jitters start to surface. Your wedding party should be punctual and respectful of your wishes and help the day run smoothly. The Best Man should be on his best behaviour. The Maid of Honour should turn any potential OMGs into LOLs. The groomsmen should be well-groomed and the bridesmaids should ensure the bride’s made to feel her very best.
Timing is Everything Keep your wedding party informed about timelines and expectations. Ensure that everyone knows their specific role and responsibilities, from ushering guests to handing off the bouquet and passing the rings. A group
chat or dedicated meeting can help everyone stay on the same page. Schedule rehearsals and fittings in advance to accommodate schedules. Avoid last-minute changes by finalizing details well in advance of your wedding day.
During The Ceremony
Disconnect to Connect Many couples prefer an “unplugged” ceremony and want guests to connect with them without the distraction of phones. Your wedding party, too, should be engaged during the ceremony by being fully present and honouring this moment. Remember, this is your day and you deserve the spotlight. Don’t Miss the Magic Your wedding is about celebrating love. It’s easy to get caught up in the details, so make sure you are fully present in the sharing of your love story. The officiant is there to guide the ceremony. Trust their expertise and follow their cues to ensure your ceremony flows smoothly. Things may not go perfectly, and that’s okay. Lead by example by practicing patience, maintaining a positive attitude and reminding your wedding party and families to do the same.
After The Ceremony
Retreat, Reflect, Rejoice It’s crucial for newlyweds to carve out a moment of privacy immediately after the ceremony. Stealing away for a brief interlude alone in a serene space offers you both a chance to reconnect, share your thoughts, express your feelings and savour the joy of becoming partners for life. It may also be a moment to thank your officiant and spend some quality time with your wedding party prior to joining your guests for the festivities.
Mind your Ps and Qs and Say Your Thank Yous Make the time to thank everyone who has played a part in making your special day memorable. Acknowledge your parents, wedding party, guests and vendors for their support and presence. Be gracious with your officiant and invite them to stay for the cocktail reception. Little gestures like handwritten notes, a mention in your speech, or a tag on a social media post go a long way.
With the assistance of a skilled and supportive officiant, navigating the intricacies of wedding ceremony etiquette can become a collaborative effort that will allow everyone to focus on what truly matters – celebrating love.
Best, BEST MAN
From duties to dress codes, a wedding planner’s guide to being the best man you can be
For the best man, duties extend far beyond standing at the altar and not losing the ring. From making sure the bachelor party doesn’t end up being a Hangover sequel, to shepherding the groomsmen, to delivering the perfect speech that hits all the right notes, the pressure is on, says wedding expert Chris Badja. According to the owner and founder of the groomsmen’s gift site, Groomsday, preparation is key with all facets of the best man’s duties, no matter how big or small. Here, he offers some key advice to help the best man confidently manage their responsibilities and make sure the unforgettable memories roll on.
Planning the Bachelor Party “Communicate early with the groom and his friends to plan something that reflects the groom’s personality,” says Badja. “Whether it’s a casual night out or an activity-packed weekend, focus on making the groom feel special.”
Start planning the bachelor party at least three to six months before the wedding to allow time for organizing logistics and getting everyone on board.
Managing the Groomsmen Whether it’s close-knit friends or a ragtag group of people the groom has met along the way, the best man is responsible for coordinating the groomsmen. “You’ll be the point of contact for everything from suit fittings to travel arrangements,” Badja explains. “Set up a group chat early to get the ball rolling – it’s essential for keeping everyone informed and making sure things run smoothly.”
Regularly check-in with the groomsmen during the last month before the wedding to avoid any last-minute surprises.
Choosing the Right Attire Make sure the groomsmen’s outfits suit the groom’s style and the wedding theme, whether it’s a formal tux or a casual suit. “Matching small details like pocket squares or ties can help create a classy look for the wedding party.” Badju also advises one colour to avoid, if possible, is brown.
Coordinate with the groom about the attire as soon as the wedding theme is set, and schedule suit fittings at least two or three months before the wedding. Overlook this responsibility at your peril.
Balancing Personal Commitments The key to being a great best man is time management. Make sure you set aside dedicated times for wedding responsibilities to ensure they don’t interfere with your work or personal life.
Use digital tools like calendars or reminders to schedule your best man duties around personal commitments, and start preparations early to avoid last-minute stress.
Delivering a Memorable Speech One of the most anticipated moments for the best man is delivering the speech. Badju recommends focusing on authenticity: “Make it personal and heartfelt, with a touch of humour. Practice in advance so you’re comfortable and confident on the big day. “It’s also important to remember that the speech is not about you, but about the couple in front of you. Keeping the speech specific to the couple makes it feel more authentic and special while avoiding any awkward moments or putting people to sleep.” And remember, it’s not a lecture, so a maximum length of five to seven minutes is ideal.
Write your speech at least a month in advance, and practice it multiple times, ideally in front of a small group of friends for feedback.
Ushering Duties The best man’s speech is not the end of the night for you, says Badju. A great best man may also escort guests to their carriages safely and soundly. “Being a best man comes with both honour and responsibility,” says Badju. The goal is to create a smooth experience for the couple while making lasting memories. “A well-prepared best man can elevate the wedding day, but going the extra mile will put you down in best man folklore.”

Aphrodite’s EMBRACE
Dreaming of a Greek-Island affair, but a destination wedding isn’t in the cards? Here, how to create your own Grecian wedding dream from an expert planner.
This enchanting moment melds the timeless elegance of ancient Greece with vibrant, contemporary romance, says Danielle Andrews, president of The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada, about this Grecian-inspired wedding concept that she and her team designed. The outdoor ceremony is framed by classical statues and pillars, she notes, adorned with lush vines and a breathtaking array of blue, soft yellow, ivory and pink flowers, creating a mythological garden setting. “Inside, the reception features long tables dressed in exquisite linens and stunning centerpieces, seamlessly continuing the theme of divine elegance,” says Andrews. “We blend classical beauty with modern touches, demonstrating versatility and mastery in creating cohesive, enchanting environments that evoke both luxury and romance.”
The Inspiration
“It was all about the dress!” The concept was first sparked when Andrews saw the stunning yellow floral wedding dress at Rent the Couture, she says. “It evoked thoughts of divine beauty and natural elegance. The ethereal hues and flowing design of the gown perfectly mirrored the charm of a Grecian garden.”
The Colours
“The colour palette we used for this shoot included muted yellows, blues, greens and pinks,” she says. These were all brought out of the inspiration wedding dress and the gardens of Greece.
The Day
The Arlington Estate is set on a beautifully landscaped greenspace with a pond and fountain serving as a centrepiece. “We used the East Pavillion for our ceremony space and Infinitude Design came in and actually built a column structure on site that morning.” For the reception, Andrews’ team dressed the modern East Wing inside the Estate and had cocktails at the venue’s beautiful West Wing bar
The Floria gown that Andrews sourced from Rent the Couture features romantic details like a thigh-high slit accented in ruffles, a corset-tie back, a flowing cathedral-length train and ruffled shoulders that can be worn up or off the shoulder.
“We carried the Grecian Garden theme inside and out,” says Andrews. “For the ballroom, we used a mixture of long rectangular and round tables in alternating textured blue linens.” The fabric charger plates on the round tables had the pattern from the linens on the long tables, and the chargers on the long tables were made from the fabric of the rounds. Each placesetting had a homemade bottle of rosemary-infused olive oil, as well as a green organza pouch containing five sugared almonds. “The odd number represents the couple sharing everything and being undivided,” says Andrews. “These organza pouches each had an evil eye charm on them; each plate also had an olive branch with olives on it.” The tables were adorned with low, full floral arrangements and blue taper candles in various heights. “We also had a waterwall welcoming guests.”
By far, Andrews’ favourite design element was the columns built for the ceremony. “They were wrapped in vines and florals and made such a dramatic statement,” she says, adding that Infinitude Designs perfectly colour-matched the pillars to the stone terrace. “If an architectural element doesn't exist at your venue, only your imagination is stopping you from having it built!”

The Essential Well-Being COUNTDOWN
Five stress-busting self-care strategies to help every bride-to-be prepare for their wedding day – and grooms can also give a few of these a try!
BY KAREN KWAN
1 MEDITATE FOR A FEW MINUTES
“Having a meditation practice, even if it’s just a few minutes a day or week, to check in with yourself can help you to stay connected to the why behind all that you are doing,” says Peloton instructor Anna Greenberg. Greenberg practiced meditation when she was planning her own wedding. “My practice helped me to let go of unnecessary stressors and drop into the joy, gratitude and love of the experience,” she says. Remember that meditation is not about erasing thoughts and feelings, but rather more about noticing them and how we respond to them, so that they don’t hold so much power over us, says Greenberg, who teaches the practice along with yoga and Pilates on the Peloton platform. She recommends taking a guided class and, if sitting still sounds daunting, starting with walking meditation as a way to ease into the practice.
2 PRACTICE COLD PLUNGING
“Both cold plunging and contrast therapy help you learn to master your nervous system so that you’re taking control of your stress rather than stress taking control of you,” says Amanda Laine, co-founder of Othership, the sauna and ice bath experience that has locations in Toronto and New York. By exposing yourself to the extreme stressors of hot and cold temperatures, and being able to sit through them and use your breath (“your number one tool to calming yourself down,” says Laine), you can flip your state out of one of panic, she says.
Proponents of cold plunging tout numerous physical benefits, from stimulating movement in the body’s lymphatic system and boosting the immune system to triggering a release of moodboosting neurotransmitters, including dopamine, serotonin, cortisol and norepinephrine. Laine suggests practicing a 30-second cold plunge in an ice bath that’s between zero and three degrees celsius about once a week, up until the day before your wedding. “Research has shown the health benefits kick in after 30 seconds,” she says, while staying immersed for another 90 seconds adds to the mental health benefits of resilience and stress relief.
3 GET REGULAR MANICURES
A research study published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology in 2023 found that nail care, both done at home or at a salon, can elevate positive emotions and relaxation for women. Leeanne Colley, founder
of Tips Nail Bar in Toronto, has witnessed the mental health aspects when clients get their nails done at her salon. “We get to know what’s happening in our clients’ lives. We can tell when they’re not having a good day,” says Colley. And there’s the added mood boost clients enjoy by simply having great nails. “We are all trying to find ways to take care of ourselves. And when you look down at your perfect nails, you know immediately that things aren’t so bad – it lightens your mood,” she says.
The added beauty benefit of regular manicures is improving the health of your nails while also promoting growth. Colley’s top at-home wedding-prep, nail-care tips? Apply cuticle oil at bedtime to both hydrate your cuticles and boost the flexibility of your nails, making them less prone to breakage. Also, she recommends using a fine-grit buffer or file to smooth any dryness around your cuticle area.
4 RELEASE TENSION WITH LYMPHATIC FACIAL
For healthy, glowing skin, consider a treatment that’ll give you tension-free facial muscles. “Without tension, this allows for full circulation to bring oxygen and nutrients to the muscles for glowing skin,” says Sous La founder Amanda Jeppesen. Jeppesen created Sous La’s signature, celebfavourite lymphatic facial through studying sculptural face lifting while also incorporating Ancient Chinese Medicine practices and modern tools and techniques. During her 60-minute RRR Face treatment, expect opening stretches, facial reflexology, deep-tissue
massage, buccal massage (which the practitioner performs intraorally; that is, they reach inside your mouth to work on the masseter muscle) and a microcurrent treatment to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The combination of these techniques works as a natural facelift, improves circulation, reduces inflammation, lifts facial muscles (which minimizes marionette lines and nasolabial folds) and adds definition to the jawline. The treatment also raises your parasympathetic state – key for stressed-out brides – and, says Jeppesen, best of all, there’s zero downtime.
5 FOLLOW A HEALTHY-GUT DIET
While it’s understandable for brides to want to look and feel their best on the wedding day, a restrictive diet will only contribute to additional stress, says Elisa Kosonen, a Vancouver-based registered holistic nutritionist and certified health coach. Your best M.O.? “Performance nutrition – by nourishing your body with an adequate amount of carbohydrates, fats and protein – can help you avoid putting your body systems on high alert,” she says. Kosonen also underscores the importance of supporting digestion and gut health. “Stress pulls blood flow and energy away from these systems, suppressing stomach acid production, for example,” she says. How to tend to a healthy gut? “Focus on mindful eating, chewing thoroughly, getting some bitter foods and citrus into the mix, ensuring you have adequate fibre in your diet, and adding fermented, enzyme-rich foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt – and opt for sourdough bread,” says Kosonen.

LESS WED The Road
DESTINATION WEDDING LOCALES THAT PROMISE LESS CROWDS AND LOADS OF BEAUTY
BY CINDY SOSROUTOMO
We’ve heard it before: you finally get to your dream destination only to be swarmed by crowds, forced into long lines and slapped with exorbitant prices. Though popular for good reason, tourist hotspots have become overwhelmed by the masses in recent years, putting enormous stress on local infrastructure, raising costs and, ultimately, diminishing the travel experience.
Now, imagine all this as the backdrop to your destination wedding. The most important trip of your life shouldn’t be spent navigating through congested streets and eating overpriced meals. Overtourism can quickly turn your destination “I do’s” into one big headache, especially if you’re also dealing with the logistics of hosting friends and family. So instead of tying the knot in a pretty-but-packed place, try these alternative destination wedding locales that won’t end up cramping your style.
Instead of Venice...
…try Trieste. Located in northeast Italy, just 90 miles east of Venice, Trieste offers all the waterfront charms and culture of the famed floating city but with less crowds and more affordable prices. As the capital of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Trieste is an underrated gem, home to a Grand Canal that runs throughout its centre, gorgeous plazas, ancient ruins and landmarks, and countless cafes that will have you begging for a cappuccino. It also has the added bonus of being at the juncture of Latin, Slavic and Germanic cultures, with Slovenia just five miles east and Croatia 19 miles to the south. This melting pot of cultural influences makes Trieste what it is today – a fascinating border city that beckons with the promise of European splendour.
For a wedding fit for royalty, Castello di Spessa is a 13th-century castle surrounded by sweeping gardens and rolling vineyards. Able to host up to 300 guests for the ceremony and the reception, its three frescoed dining rooms set the perfect tone for an opulent celebration, complete with live music, pyrotechnics and more. Spend a day or two before or after the wedding showing your guests some local sights, like the Arco di Ricarrdo, the only remaining portion of the city’s original Roman walls, and the Roman Theatre of Trieste, built between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD and still hosting outdoor summer shows today. Sprinkle in some beach time at Bagno Sticco, which features crystal clear waters and nostalgic changing booths from the 1950s.
Instead of Barcelona...
…try Girona. Known as the ‘City of the Four Rivers,’ Girona, located in Catalonia, Spain, is an absolute stunner, with medieval walls and bridges, colourfully-painted buildings, and heavy Roman, Arab and Hebrew influences that make for a rich cultural tapestry. The fact that it’s only 100 kilometres from Barcelona makes it a perfect alternative to the latter’s crowded thoroughfares, as does its prime location between the Pyrenees mountain range and the Costa Brava. You can easily explore the entire province with Girona as your home base, starting at the Força Vella, a mighty fortress built by the Romans in the first century BC that contains a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and patios. Even more? Within its walls, your most eagle-eyed wedding guests will surely notice several streets and buildings from season six of HBO’s Game of Thrones Aside from its medieval mystique, Girona has the kind of Old World beauty that makes it the perfect place to say “I do.” Casa Anamaria Hotel & Villas, located just on the outskirts of town, is surrounded by fields, forests and 22,000 square metres of gardens and fountains, and offers 28 rooms for timeless, intimate weddings. Couples can choose from several gorgeous spaces to tie the knot, including a private town square and a glass room that lets in the light and opens directly to the gardens. A full hotel buy out is required for weddings, guaranteeing couples complete privacy with the people they love most.
Instead of Santorini...
…try Zakynthos. Also known by its Italian moniker, Zante, and its nickname of ‘Flower of the East’ due to its lush vegetation, this Greek hideaway is part of the Ioanian islands, beloved for its rocky bluffs and turquoise waters that must be seen to be believed. A favourite destination for Brits, Zakynthos is only now finding its way onto couples’ radars, thanks to a new crop of luxury hotels and world-class restaurants. Diving and snorkelling are a must while visiting, as is soaking up rays on Shipwreck Beach, where the smuggler ship Panagiotis ran aground in 1980. If you want nothing but spectacular views of the Ionian Sea while saying “I do,” book your wedding at the adults-only Lesante Blu Exclusive Beach Resort, part of The Leading Hotels of the World. With state-of-the-art suites, private pools, fine dining restaurants, the Essence Spa with Germaine de Cappucini treatments, helicopter and chauffeured transfers, and incredible cruises to the Blue Caves, Lesante has all the elements of a magical destination wedding and luxury holiday rolled up in one. Other wedding-worthy options include Porta del mar, a collection of traditional villas and deluxe apartments that can accommodate up to 120 guests for a beachside reception, and the intimate Estrella Luxury Villa near the village of Exo Hora, featuring an expansive pool area and a wine cellar dug into the mountain rock where guests can sample local varieties by candlelight.
Instead of Bali...
…try the Gili Islands . Often regarded as Bali’s superior and lesscrowded neighbour, the Gili Islands in Indonesia may be small in size but they’re abundant in jaw-dropping beauty, with dazzling coral reefs, white-sand beaches and a surprising number of hotels to suit every budget. Meaning “islands” in the local Sasak language, the Gilis comprise Gili Trawangan (the largest and most popular with the best nightlife), Gili Meno (the smallest and least inhabited) and Gili Air (the most populated and closest to the mainland), all of which are car-free with their own distinct vibe. The best way to get around is to rent a bike or hop on a horse-drawn carriage. The best way to get there is via a 20-minute speedboat ride from Senggigi on the island of Lombok or by daily ferry from Bali. Once on the islands, you’ll want to dive head first into an array of water sports, from stand up paddling, diving and snorkelling to surfing, fishing and horseback riding on the beach.
For blissful ceremonies on the beach, Pondok Santi Estate on Gili Trawangan offers personalized wedding packages and onsite coordination, led by an events planning team that handles all the details, from the flowers and photography to catering and entertainment. You and your guests will rest easy in luxurious villas and bungalows featuring upscale touches like outdoor showers, private pools, day beds and even open-air bathrooms.
Instead of Phuket...
…try Koh Lanta. Located in Krabi Province, about a 90-minute boat ride from Phuket and 90 minutes from Krabi airport, Koh Lanta is a sight to behold, with nearly a dozen sparkling beaches scattered along its coastline. Klong Dao is the most popular with the most resorts and hotels, but others like Phra Ae Beach (Long Beach) and Klong Nin Beach are also worth visiting for their laidback vibe and incredible sunsets. With the Andaman Sea all around, it’s only natural that Koh Lanta has become a major draw for deep-water divers (don’t miss Ko Mo at the end of the cape) and snorkellers (Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are renowned for their pristine coral reefs). For a bit of culture, head to Lanta Old Town, the island’s original town centre known for its stilted homes and authentic food, or meet the island’s famed gentle giants at Lanta Elephant Sanctuary. But if you’re looking for Instagram-worthy shots, Laem Tanod on the southern tip of Mu Ko Lanta National Park will reward you with panoramic views of the sea and neighbouring islands that will stun you into silence.
Couples can book the wedding of a lifetime at the adults-only Layana Resort & Spa on Phra Ae Beach. Packages for Western and Thai Blessing Ceremonies for two are available, as well as a Traditional Thai Wedding that includes Thai silk costumes, a holy water ritual, a groom’s procession and more. There’s also Pimalai Resort and Spa Thailand, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and nestled within a 100-acre tropical forest on 900 metres of breathtaking beachfront. Wedding packages are available on the beach, in a beachside villa or even on a private speed boat, complementing luxury stays that include villa accommodations with private infinity pools, tennis courts, a spa and daily dive tours.
All in FAVOUR
GIFT YOUR DESTINATION WEDDING GUESTS WITH THESE CREATIVE – AND PRACTICAL – IDEAS
BY CINDY SOSROUTOMO
We’ve seen some pretty incredible wedding favours in our day, from miniature succulents and beautifully-boxed pastries, to custom wine bottles, fresh fruit cartons and jars of homemade jam. But when you’re throwing a destination wedding, you may find that the options for these thoughtful giveaways may not be so endless after all.
With luggage restrictions, portability and practicality to keep in mind, destination wedding favours can sometimes pose a few challenges – for both the wedding couple who’s transporting them, and for their guests who are taking them home. But this doesn’t mean you have to feel boxed in when coming up with creative favour ideas. With a bit of planning, you can still gift your guests with easy-to-pack favours that they’ll absolutely adore.
HOME SWEET HOME
Welcome your destination wedding guests back home with thoughtful gifts that encourage cozy nights in. Customized sleeping masks, photo coasters and tea towels are all great ideas, as are fridge magnets that double as bottle openers and measuring spoons attached to your favourite cookie recipe. As for edible treats that are easy to store and pack, try little bags of coffee beans or packets of tea leaves, hot chocolate or popcorn that are perfect for movie nights on the couch.
IT ALL MAKES SCENTS!
Nothing brings you back to a time and place like a specific scent. Transport your guests back to your destination wedding long after they’ve returned home with fun, fragrant gifts that easily fit into carry-ons. Mini bath bombs encased in small linen pouches are both aromatic and luxurious, as are scented soap bars wrapped and stamped with personalized stickers. Other sweet-smelling ideas include scented lip balms and custom-made car fresheners.
KEEP CALM, TRAVEL ON
You’re having a destination wedding so what would make more sense than gifting travel-related favours? Personalized luggage tags and passport holders embossed with your wedding date will come in handy for future travels. Or how about a custom tote bag that your guests can use when shopping for souvenirs? Other fun favours that can be used on the spot include sunglasses and sunblock sticks, both of which can be personalized for an extra special touch. Whether your guests pack up your favours to go or use them in real time, in destination, one thing’s for sure – they’ll use these globe-trotting gifts for years to come.
TECH SUPPORT
Mostly everyone has a computer or a smartphone these days, which gives you even more fun options for destination wedding favours. Consider giving a flash drive that’s been pre-loaded with a heartfelt video message from you and your partner, expressing your gratitude for each guest’s support and sharing a specific memory you have of them. Bonus? They get to keep and use the flash drive themselves. For the selfie lover or influencer, a rechargeable selfie ring light that attaches to their phone would be a perfect wedding favour. Also practical are pop sockets; make them extra fun by personalizing them with a catchphrase, an image or a silly photo of you and your partner.
A Celebration in Paradise
Enter Kayla and Brandon. College sweethearts whose love defied distance when Brandon graduated early and moved over a hundred miles away. Every weekend, he crossed the country with playlists and podcasts as his co-pilots just to see her. For them, the question wasn’t if they’d get married after Kayla graduated, it was where.
Their search for the perfect wedding destination led them to Jamaica and eventually to the most desirable resort on the island: Sandals ® Dunn’s River. This all-new destination offered a private beach facing the sunset, just a short trek from the natural wonder of Dunn’s River Falls. It was an all-inclusive getaway where their love would be the center of attention.
From the moment their plane touched down, they felt the vacation vibe take over as the pilot announced over the loudspeaker, “Welcome to Jamaica. The local weather is a steady 80 degrees Farenheit, with a touch of island breeze. We hope you enjoy your stay in paradise.”
Months of collaboration with the Sandals wedding team led to this moment. Kayla and Brandon selected the Jamaican Tropical Hues inspiration, a tropical palette paired with customizable details as the theme for their wedding. Think wicker-box lanterns, vibrant greens and white Birds of Paradise, a seaside dining setup styled to perfection, and a flower-draped triangle altar glowing in the golden hour.
The ceremony was barefoot bliss. As the sun dipped below the horizon, their nine-year love story crystallized in a setting as beautiful and timeless as their connection. Sandals took care of every detail, leaving Kayla to decide only on which bathing suit to wear to the pool.
She indulged in a spa day of personalized wedding treatments, setting the tone for a week of celebration and relaxation.
With family and friends by their side, everyone enjoyed the ceremony and got a proper vacation to write home about. The innate flexibility of the Sandals experience, elevated all-inclusive amenities, bottomless top-shelf liquors, and bites for every craving, made it enjoyable for all. After days of celebration and Caribbean vacationing, Kayla and Brandon’s family returned to the States.
Kayla and Brandon stayed on-resort, seamlessly transitioning from vows to honeymoon. Their retreat? The Coyaba Sky Villa Rondoval, a suite so stunning it felt like a destination in itself. With its private stargazing loft, soaking tub, and infinity-edge pool, it became their sanctuary for days suspended in bliss. Their butler team made every moment indulgent, effortless, and unforgettable.
Later that week, standing atop Dunn’s River Falls, shrouded in a newlywed glow with the dense jungle behind them and roaring waters below, Kayla and Brandon felt the quiet joy of a choice well made. Their love, nine years in bloom, had found the perfect place to flourish and reveal its full beauty.
Kayla and Brandon didn’t just say “I do” — they lived it.

If tying the knot in cottage country is your idea of a dreamy destination wedding, take inspiration from this lakeside retreat
BY VIVIAN VASSOS
Our brides, grooms and guests who celebrate at the Post House relish the relaxed lakeside setting as they savour the fine dining and rustic luxury of our private setting.” These are the words of Heather Milstein who, with her partner in life and business, Joel Baker, own and operate Post House in the Haliburton Highlands in cottage country near Minden, Ont.
“From the first point of contact to the final goodbye, our staff strive to make the wedding a joyous and stress-free wedding experience,” adds Baker.
Milstein and Baker also own the iconic Langdon Hall Country House, Hotel & Spa in Cambridge, Ont., an award-winning, Michelin-starred property, so you know that the hospitality bar has also been raised at Post House. But, where Langdon Hall is very much country manor, Post House is a chic retreat that hugs the water’s edge along Kashagawigamog Lake. The two-acre property, with its cozy yet modern log cabins, evokes memories that so many of us have: summers by the lake, jumping into chilly, clear waters right off the dock, campfires and toasting marshmallows, and starry, dark skies.
The main lodge sets the rustic luxe tone. Made from golden logs, it houses the Great Room, the dining room, as well as five bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one that’s completely accessible) and two powder rooms. Just off the main lodge are three standalone cottages – Eagle, Salerno and Maple – all with three bedrooms, full kitchens, living/dining spaces and more. The lawn slopes gently down to the expansive dock, past the fire pit, and gives great views of the lake, a perfectly romantic place to say “I do.”
On the retreat’s overall design, Milstein says: “The idea was to keep it simple, uncluttered, ‘cottagey/rustic’ but upscale. The use of lots of blues and greens was to bring the outside in, and to use colours in nature.”
Although the property has served as a family cottage retreat for more than 100 years, it wasn’t until 2018, when Milstein and Baker bought it, that it was restored and reimagined to become Post House. The couple had spent summers in the region and knew its history; their goal when purchasing the property was to maintain the spot as a gathering place but add an element of low-key luxury with modern amenities, a state-of-the-art fitness studio and gourmet dining.
Post House has already gained a reputation for stellar chef-driven cuisine, cooked up by executive chef Dan Sanders and chef de cuisine Amber Husband, a husband-and-wife culinary duo. Cottage country visitors and local residents alike keep the fine-dining restaurant booked through the busiest season. Sanders and Husband focus on seasonal and local farm-fresh ingredients to create their modern take on classic Canadian cuisine for a memorable, bespoke wedding menu.
“We work together with couples to put their dreams into action,” says Baker, “From menu planning with our executive chef to curating a beverage list with our beverage director Justine Dart, attention is brought to all aspects of their celebration and the details that are important to them.”
The whole of Post House can be completely booked and can accommodate up to 32 guests for an intimate, cottage wedding weekend.
A Grand Affair
IF YOU’VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF A WEDDING BY THE BEACH OR UNDER THE STARS, MEXICO’S RIVIERA MAYA MIGHT BE EXACTLY WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR
BY VIVIAN VASSOS
Tying the knot in a sun-soaked, seaside destination always sounds dreamy, with the waves gently lapping at the shore while you stand barefoot in the sand. Mexico’s Mayan Riviera – south of Cancun in the state of Quintana Roo and home to some of the world’s best beaches – can easily make this dream a reality for Canadian couples looking to say “I do.”
Today’s Bride visited one of this region’s most beautiful locations, Playa del Carmen, to check out the five-star Grand Velas Riviera Maya resort. It has three levels of all-inclusive accommodation, each housed in its own unique building. Grand Class is the crème de la crème and features oceanfront suites with private terraces and plunge pools and a personal concierge to take care of all the details – perfect for a romantic retreat. The Ambassador Experience is made for families, with lots to keep the kids and teens busy (we spotted a few adults playing billiards and shooting hoops in the activity room, too!), while the Zen Grand Experience – a jungle oasis away from the beach that’s easily reachable by shuttle – is the place for those who want to be immersed in nature, be close to the spa and, well, be Zen.
FOR STARGAZERS
One of the biggest trends this year is travelling to see the stars. Grand Velas has launched its Celestial Wedding Experience, where you can treat your wedding guests to guided expert astronomy sessions. Spot the constellations through high-powered telescopes and commemorate your big day by buying your own star. The resort will assist with the official registration and provide an official certificate. The twinkling decor (including a custom dance floor with a projection of the constellations that appeared in the sky on the day couples met), the cocktails (Golden Shimmer Mimosa, anyone?) and a menu created by Grand Velas’ Michelin-starred chefs all combine to deliver an out-of-this-world wedding experience.
IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU
Speaking of the menu, there are five restaurants to choose from, including the Michelin-starred Cocina de Autor. The SE Spa, located in the Zen Grand jungle resort, features an exclusive bridal suite. Need to unwind and release some tension? Massage therapists can do their magic here on your big day. Hair and makeup, facials and more can be booked in the privacy of the suite, for you and your bridal party. You can also request the resort’s Social Media Concierge to create bespoke wedding content.
ROMANCING THE CULTURE
One of the most romantic experiences available at Grand Velas Riviera Maya are private candlelit dinners on the beach under a Mayan-inspired canopy, either for the happy couple or a larger group. Live music (we were treated to a local, all-female Mariachi band that can also be booked for weddings) and ‘Mojigangas’ (papier-mâché dolls or puppets made in the likeness of the person creating it or, in this case, the bride and the groom) add plenty of cultural immersion

PUERTO VALLARTA
“Iberostar Playa Mita is just a short, direct flight away, with beautiful scenery and a great wedding department.”
HAWAII
“I would recommend Kauai, Oahu and Maui for my more unique clients that want something different than everyone else. These destinations work very well for small ceremonies and are extremely popular for renewals and second-time-around couples who want something more intimate and less commercial.”

“I love Mexico. It’s easy to get to, plus there’s a fantastic variety of travel options to fit every budget and style. Mexico also has easy marriage requirements.”
HAWAII
“There are great flights, especially from the West. With the different islands, it’d be more suited to the independent traveller – but it’s easy to customize.”
CRUISING
“Although cruising isn’t for everyone, the weddings that I have planned on cruises have all gone smoothly and met all my clients’ wants.”
JAMAICA AND PUNTA CANA
“It’s a tie between these two destinations. There are good flights, great variety for clients and easy marriage requirements with both.”

to any celebration. For weddings, the puppets, which are said to attract good fortune, are life-sized and, with the help of the person wielding the puppet, lead the wedding procession.
A beachside deck was also in the process of being constructed during our visit, with enough seating for 100 guests and facing the Caribbean. Later the next evening, fireworks lit up the sky in celebration of a couple who had tied the knot earlier in the week.
Game on!
Keep your destination wedding guests entertained with these fun and easy games and activities`
BY CINDY SOSROUTOMO
Weddings nowadays have become big blowout affairs complete with world-class entertainment, from aerialists and fire dancers to hula hoopers, magicians and mixologists. But hiring – and flying out –entertainers and vendors may not be possible if you’re having a destination wedding. Not only would you risk blowing up your budget to cover their travel costs, but your wedding venue may also not be able to accommodate their act. So how do you keep your guests entertained? Try these easy games and activities that are guaranteed to keep the fun going throughout the night.
GET YOUR COOK ON
If you’re going to tie the knot in a destination far from home, why not incorporate the local culture into your big day? One fun way to do this is to stage a cooking demonstration either right before the start of your reception, or after the main course. If at the start, get a local chef or a chef at your resort to teach your guests how to prepare a local dish, preferably an easy appetizer that they can snack on right then and there. If the demonstration takes place after the mains are eaten, feature a dessert using fresh local ingredients. Either way, your guests will learn something new, have fun and fill their bellies all at the same time.
DANCE LIKE THE LOCALS
Another fun way to incorporate the local culture into your wedding is to get an actual local to teach your guests some moves on the dance floor. Ask your resort or wedding venue ahead of time for recommendations for a professional dancer, or even just a staff member who can lead an impromptu dance lesson. Flamenco dancing in Spain, the hula in Hawaii, calypso in Trinidad, or the céilí in Ireland –wherever you’re tying the knot, there’s always a reason to dance the night away.
Get your guests out of their seats by staging a photo scavenger hunt around the resort or wedding venue. Each table can be a team. Between each course, release a new set of must-find and must-snapped items like a palm tree, a beach chair, or even a friendly bartender. The first team to return to the reception after the final round, with all their photos, wins a prize!
GET YOUR GUESTS INVOLVED
Can’t fly out a team of vendors and entertainers? No problem! A host of talents can be plucked from your guest pool alone. Send out a call to action a month or two before the wedding, asking your confirmed guests to donate their talents to the reception. Know how to draw? Do on-the-spot caricatures of other guests. Fancy yourself a crooner? Perform a few songs for the first dance or cake cutting. But remember to designate only a short period of time for their acts – after all, your guests are there to enjoy themselves and have fun.
Use what’s already at your resort or venue to up the fun factor. If you’re at a beachfront property, throw a post-dinner bonfire with smores on the beach. Does your resort have an on-site food truck? See if you can add late-night bites to your wedding package. If there are pickleball courts at your resort, organize a post-dinner game for some added laughs. But our personal favourite? An impromptu dip in the pool – with gowns, suits and all – makes for awesome latenight photos that capture all the fun.

Fictional getaways
FANCY YOURSELF A FILM OR TV BUFF? TRY THESE 5 DESTINATIONS INSPIRED BY FICTION THAT WILL MAKE ANY HONEYMOON WORTHY OF THE STARS.
BY VAWN HIMMELSBACH
Whether it’s a book, movie or TV series, sometimes the destination is as essential to the plot as the chemistry between characters. If you’re one of those people who planned a trip to Croatia just to experience King’s Landing from HBO’s Game of Thrones, then your choice of a honeymoon destination may be heavily inspired by your favourite fiction.
There’s even a term for this: set-jetting. In an Expedia 2024 travel trends report, more than half of travellers surveyed said they researched or booked a trip after seeing the destination on a show. So, if you’re looking for a swoon-worthy honeymoon destination, here are a few of our favourite set-jetting picks.
BRIDGERTON
This steamy Netflix period drama – based on a series of romance novels – has inspired a number of Regency-era trends, from choker necklaces to puff-sleeve dresses. But the lush sets are also inspiring ‘Regencycore’ honeymoon ideas for those who want to capture Shonda Rhimes’ lavish interpretation of the Regency era. To experience high-society London in the 1800s, head instead to Bath, England, with its Georgian architecture and Roman baths. Filming locations are dotted around Bath, and you can honeymoon like a Bridgerton at the Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa (which has a few cameos on the show). You might just spot Lady Danbury’s townhouse or the Modiste dress shop on a promenade through town.
THE WHITE LOTUS
While this dark comedy is all about dysfunctional relationships and bad behaviour by the ultrawealthy, it’s hard not to fall in love with the star of each season: the destination itself. The show’s influence is so deep, it’s driving tourism in Wailea, Maui (season 1), Taormina, Sicily (season 2) and Ko Samui, Thailand (season 3) – referred to as the ‘White Lotus effect.’ At Four Seasons Resort Maui, you can even book the show’s ‘Pineapple Suite,’ where newlywed couple Rachel and Shane Patton plan to spend their honeymoon (you know what happens if you’ve watched the show). The real Pineapple Suite is the Lokelani Presidential Suite, which features season 1’s now-famous bathtub in one of its lavish marble bathrooms.
OUT OF AFRICA
Watch this epic classic romance – based on a book written in 1937 – to swoon over the romantic tension between Meryl Streep and Robert Redford’s characters, but also to swoon over the cinematography. The sweeping shots of the African savannah (set to a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack) will make you want to go there for your honeymoon. And you can go there, since most of the movie was filmed on location in Kenya’s protected parks and reserves. A honeymoon at a luxury safari lodge can be combined with a game drive at the Shaba National Game Reserve, where many of the film’s savannah scenes were shot.
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN / THE CROWN
What does a pirate movie have in common with a TV series about the British royal family? The former used several locations in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for its stunning natural Caribbean beauty, while the latter featured the ultra-glamorous private island of Mustique in the Grenadines – one of the late Princess Margaret’s favourite getaways. While Mallorca was a stand-in for Mustique in The Crown, it still put the Grenadines – 32 coral islands scattered in the azure Caribbean Sea – in the limelight. So, take to the seas on your honeymoon (like your favourite pirates) and rent a private yacht or luxury yacht charter to discover the Grenadine’s hidden gems –and feel like royalty.
EMILY IN PARIS
This list would be remiss without mentioning Emily in Paris (or should we say ‘Emily in Rome’?) The show, in many ways, is a love letter to Paris. And sure, it’s full of frivolous fashion and clichés, but many of its eye-candy scenes are shot in real-life locations. So, if you’re dreaming of a Paris honeymoon, you can easily recreate some of your favourite scenes – from a stroll down Rue de l’Abreuvoir, to buying pain au chocolat from Boulangerie Moderne by Thierry Rabineau, to cozying up at the bistro where Emily meets her Parisian crush, Gabriel. While Gabriel’s restaurant is known as Les Deux Compères in the show, the real restaurant is Terra Nera, in the 11th arrondissement, and its cozy, rustic interior is perfect for a romantic dinner pour deux.
‘Megamoons’ are seeing a resurgence among newlyweds – here’s why
BY CINDY SOSROUTOMO
‘G Going all out
o big or go home’ is the whole idea behind romance & travel’s latest trend. ‘Megamoons,’ or mega-honeymoons, are exactly what they sound like: post-wedding getaways that go beyond conventional trips, whether this means booking bucket-list destinations, signing up for out-of-this-world experiences, or travelling for weeks or months on end. Though they’ve been around forever, megamoons are seeing a post-COVID renaissance, with newlyweds going all out for the trip of their dreams. But how do you plan and prepare for a megamoon? And where should you go? We asked John Hawks, Executive Director at Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA), for the skinny on big, brilliant honeymoons that deliver lifelong memories.
Why do you think megamoons are gaining in popularity?
“Before the pandemic, almost all engaged couples cancelled their honeymoon plans. But in 2023 and 2024, they came roaring back, with couples determined to achieve the honeymoon of their dreams. Our members report many of their couples are now focusing more on their honeymoon plans than their actual weddings! They’re pulling back on their destination wedding guest lists and budgets, and increasing their honeymoon spend.”
What are some pros and cons of a megamoon?
“With larger megamoon budgets, it’s much easier to plan an itinerary that fits the interests of both members of the couple. If the bride wants a week at a five-star resort but the groom wants an eco-getaway in the
mountains, a megamoon budget makes all of that possible. Another advantage is the fact that megamoons can last anywhere from 10 days to two weeks or more, which allows couples to stay longer in long-haul destinations.
“The biggest challenges with megamoons are the higher cost and longer trip length. Not every couple will have the budget and available time off work to plan such an intensive getaway.”
What planning tips do you have for couples booking a megamoon?
“They should avoid ‘overpacking’ the itinerary and build in plenty of extra time for transfers and hotel changes so that one late flight doesn’t collapse the entire trip. Purchase top-level travel insurance and have healthy emergency savings ready; the longer they’re travelling, the more likely unexpected things might happen.
“Another good idea is to combine standard travel arrangements with ‘splurges’ if their budget gets out of control. For example, if 14 nights in a hotel suite in Hawaii is adding up too fast, they can stay in a comfortable room for 11 or 12 nights and upgrade to a suite or beachfront bungalow for the final few nights.
“And lastly, they should remember that not everything on the megamoon needs a price tag. After several days of pricey meals and shopping, their best memories may end up being the afternoon they spent in a local park and simply people-watching.”
What destinations or travel styles would you recommend for a megamoon?
“We see two big trends with megamoons: trips with a common theme such as ‘high foodie’ experiences or intensive wellness, which can mean being based at one or two luxury properties with culinary adventures or high-end spa treatments every day; and trips that include exploring nearby destinations, which may require long-haul flights to get to but are easier to go back and forth between them. This can include combinations like Italy and Croatia, or Chile and Argentina.”

NEW WAYS TO EXPLORE FIVE OF THE WORLD’S MOST ICONIC MOTORWAYS
BY JEN O’BRIEN
Prepare that playlist because road trips are accelerating in popularity, and taking the scenic route just might be the best way to honeymoon with your significant other.
According to a recent survey, 65 per cent of Canadians were planning a summer road trip in 2024 and the motivation driving these plans was largely human connection rather than a particular destination. After all, road trips are the ultimate bonding experience.
Road travel also offers the unique opportunity to become better immersed in the area you’re exploring. Making impromptu stops at breathtaking viewpoints and discovering roadside attractions, accommodations and eateries is half the fun.
Only the most bucket-list-worthy driving destinations will do for your honeymoon so we scoured the globe for car-commercial-worthy places that offer a unique blend of jawdropping views, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and cool places to pull over and stay along the way. You may have heard of many of these iconic roadways, but you’ve never seen them like this. We’ve reimagined five of the world’s most scenic car journeys to help you rev up the romance on your post-wedding getaway.
United States
PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY (PCH)
When Hollywood hits the road, it’s often along this glorious stretch of coastal highway, which runs along the Pacific Ocean from north to south and made famous for its snaking turns and cliffside ocean views.
Begin your journey in San Francisco with a stay (and a mai tai) at the Fairmont San Francisco in the Nob Hill neighbourhood. In the morning, head towards Half Moon Bay and stop for a beginner surf lesson at Surfers’ Beach. Next up is a hike through Point Lobos National Reserve in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a cliffside village where Clint Eastwood once served as mayor.
Proceed to Big Sur, taking in what’s often regarded as this stretch of the drive’s most dramatic views. Splash out on a stay at Alila Ventana Big Sur, choosing between a tent cabin or a refined, rustic guestroom, then reserve a day to enjoy spa treatments, complimentary movement classes and guided hikes.
Refreshed after your stay, head towards San Simeon, setting Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Viewing Area as the destination in your GPS. At this elephant seal rookery you’ll have the chance to observe the second largest seal in the world from a series of viewing platforms. Afterwards, embark on a guided tour of Hearst Castle, which recalls the opulence of California in the early 20th century, then check in at nearby White Water, a beautiful lodge on the shores of Moonstone Beach.
Santa Barbara is a great next stop. Pause here for a day to visit the botanical garden and then The Funk Zone, a vibrant neighbourhood with great wine tasting rooms, boutiques and some of the city’s best eateries.
And for an A-list finish to your trip, book a stay at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel for some star-gazing before flying out of Los Angeles.
GOOD TO KNOW: Portions of the PCH sometimes close for repairs following heavy rainfall. Be sure to check weather and road conditions before beginning your drive.
Canada
TRAVERSING VANCOUVER ISLAND
With old growth rainforests, rich Indigenous culture and some of Canada’s most stunning beaches, Vancouver Island is a world-class honeymoon destination close to home that perfectly balances relaxation and adventure.
Start your trip at Victoria’s Inner Harbour, staying the night at The Magnolia Hotel and Spa, a boutique property recently awarded one Michelin key.
In the morning, head towards the town of Sooke for a dip at Sooke Potholes Regional Park before popping into Sheringham Distillery for a taste of Island-made spirits. Continue to Port Renfrew, which offers access to some of Vancouver Island’s best beaches including China and Mystic Beaches. Afterwards, settle in at Wild Renfrew, a lovely set of seaside cottages.
Back on the road, head inland toward Lake Cowichan for lunch and river tubing before proceeding towards Parksville, known for its vast stretches of white sand beach. Check in at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort and soak your road-weary bones in the mineral pools at the on-site Grotto Spa before heading to Treetop Tapas & Grill, where you can dine in your spa robe and slippers.
The following day, begin the stunning drive to Ucluelet, making time to stop and smell the cedar at Cathedral Grove, a section of lush old-growth forest with an 80-metre-high canopy. In Ucluelet, check in at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort and make this your homebase for exploring the area, including nearby Tofino. You can fill the final days of your honeymoon with rainforest hikes, surf lessons, whale-watching exclusions and sunset beach strolls.
GOOD
TO KNOW: Always fill up when you see a gas station as certain stretches of this route are devoid of both fuel stops and cell service.
Australia
THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD
Driving this iconic stretch of highway along the state of Victoria’s southwestern coast is the perfect way to experience some of the best Australia has to offer, including secluded beaches, ancient rainforest and, of course, the jaw-dropping Twelve Apostles.
Start your journey in Melbourne with a stay at Zagame’s House in the chilled-out Carlton neighbourhood. Heading southwest out of the city, your first destination will be the coastal village of Lorne for a stop at Teddy’s Lookout, which provides stunning views of the Bass Straight. Spend the night at Brae’s Guest Suites, an adultsonly farm stay experience complete with stargazing skylights and homemade pastries delivered to your door.
Back on the road, head to Maits Rest Rainforest Walk, the perfect place to stretch your legs. Next up, explore nearby Great Otway National Park where, if you’re lucky, you can see koalas in the wild. Continue along the coast to Port Campbell and book a villa at Anchors Port Campbell for sunset views of the famed Twelve Apostles.
Your next destination will be Mount Gambier in South Australia, home to the Umpherston Sinkhole and Blue Lake, a sapphire pool inside a volcanic crater. Stay the night at The Barn, a boutique hotel with a fantastic on-site steakhouse.
Wrap up your road trip in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. Explore the city’s Central Market then head out of town to stay at Mount Lofty House where you’ll be spoiled with five-star service and views of the Piccadilly Valley.
GOOD TO KNOW: Remember that Australians drive on the left side of the road. Keep an eye out for wildlife, especially at dawn and dusk, as kangaroos, koalas and other animals may be near the road.
Germany
THE ROMANTIC ROAD
For a fairytale honeymoon worthy of a Disney princess, consider this 460-kilometre network of country roads connecting the Bavarian towns of Würzburg and Füssen.
Fly into Frankfurt and proceed directly to Würzburg, known for its Baroque architecture and surrounding wine region. Get acclimatized in storybook fashion by staying the night at Schlosshotel Steinburg, a castle hotel perched above the city.
The following day, hop on the Romantic Road. Your first stop will be Wertheim, a beautifully-preserved medieval town. Next up, pull over at the Bad Mergentheim spa for a soothing soak in thermal waters. Stop for the night in picturesque Weikersheim, where you can book in at Hotel Laurentius, a charming property with a wonderful gourmet restaurant.
In the morning, continue to Röttingen for a tour of the wine museum at Burg Brattenstein Castle. Fans of seasonal kitsch will also
want to stop at Käthe Wohlfahrt in Rothenburg, a Christmas village open year-round. Overnight in Dinkelsbühl and check in at the postcard-perfect Hotel Deutsches Haus.
Continue on to Nördlingen, a town nestled inside a meteorite crater, and take in panoramic views from the observation deck of St. George’s Church. Afterwards, make a quick stop at Harburg Castle, which Michael Jackson once tried to purchase, before stopping for the night in Donauwörth, a historic town with great cycling paths.
Proceed to Bavaria’s crown jewel, Neuschwanstein Castle, in the foothills of the Alps, then cap off your honeymoon with a stay at the nearby Ameron Resort & Spa.
GOOD TO KNOW: Leave your GPS at home and instead follow the brown tourist signs for the Romantic Road (or else you’ll end up on the Autobahn).
Japan
CIRCUMNAVIGATING THE IZU PENINSULA
Though the Izu Peninsula sits just 100 kilometres southwest of Tokyo, its pace is completely different. In fact, many big city residents head to this idyllic area –known for its waterfalls and natural hot springs – to escape.
Atami, a seaside city at the top of the peninsula, is a great place to begin your trip. Rest up for a night at Hotel Kan-ichi, boasting rooftop open-air onsen baths.
After Atami, make a detour inland to Joren Falls. Here you’ll find a 25-metretall cascade as well as a wasabi farm (don’t leave without trying the wasabi soft serve). Afterwards, head back to the coast to the hot spring resort town of Ito, stopping at the famous Izu Shaboten Zoo to see capybaras bathing in yuzu-filled pools. Check in at Hoshino Resorts KAI Anjin for your own soak at its rooftop onsen.
In the morning, pay a visit to Mount Omuro, a grass-covered volcanic crater, then continue down the coast to Shimoda where you’ll find white sand beaches and vibrant night life. Check in at Seiryuso ryokan with traditional tea-house-style rooms.
Thirty minutes from Shimoda you’ll come to the tip of the peninsula at Cape Irozaki. Pull over to take in the views then continue up the western side of the peninsula with your sights set on Mount Fuji. Check out Shiraito Falls in the foothills of Fuji then wrap up your adventure with a stay at Hoshinoya Fuji, Japan’s first glamping resort.
GOOD TO KNOW: In order to rent a car in Japan, Canadian drivers need to obtain an International Driver’s License in Canada before departure.

What people are saying
When it comes to wedding planning, trends come and go but the end goal is always the same: beautiful weddings. Here’s what people are saying about the latest trends to walk down the aisle.
According to a real weddings study, the average price of a wedding dress in 2025 is $1,500-$2,500.
Seated vs. Cocktail
Reception: “People want to sit, people deserve to sit, and some people have disabilities. Eating without a table and chair can be annoying so it’s just best to do plated, sit-down service.” — as seen on Reddit
It’s a wedding boom! The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Inc. (WPIC) says that many couples delayed their wedding plans after the pandemic, leading to a surge in engagements in 2024. “This surge is setting the stage for a massive wedding boom in 2025 and 2026.”
Looking for honeymoon inspo?
The Reader’s Choice Winner in National Geographic’s list of ‘25 Best Places in the World to Travel To’ is Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Here, “wine lovers can sample the country’s famed Žilavka, Blatina or Vranac varieties,” while “adventurers can go river rafting, alpine skiing, or hike to one of Europe’s most majestic waterfalls.”
Nature’s bounty! Jessica Foster Event Planning Inc. in Los Angeles has spotted a new major trend for 2025: the incorporation of fruits and vegetables into floral designs. Lush centrepieces adorned with seasonal fruits like pomegranates, figs and grapes – mixed with foliage and delicate blooms – will be all the rage this year.
In the ‘2025 bridal/wedding trends’ subreddit, ’90s-inspired weddings, draping and bows, outfit changes for grooms, live ceremony music and jewel tones are just some of the new trends predicted by redditors.
According to Hitched.co.uk,
online searches for ‘colourful bridal bouquet’ are up 267% this year, indicating plenty of bold blooms for 2025. Think vibrant pairings like pink and orange for a pop of colour.
Colour Envy: Wedding Shoppe, Inc. says olive green will be big this year among brides who want a darker shade for their bridesmaids. “Green bridesmaid dresses are super versatile, complement most other colours, and bring an earthy vibe to your wedding.”
more and more couples hiring professional content creators to record wedding footage via their cell phones. While professional photos and videos may take weeks to be ready, content creators can deliver the goods within 48 hours for couples to enjoy and post.
