CarDon & Associates’ senior living community in Fishers is in for an exciting makeover. Among other things, the $5 million expansion project will more than double the number of assisted living apartments at Hamilton Trace, located at 11851 Cumberland Road. The new total of 67 residences will consist of 32 new onebedroom apartments and five two-bedroom apartments.

Each apartment will feature a kitchen with a sink, refrigerator and microwave; private bathroom with walk-in shower; washer and dryer; smoke detector with sprinklers and fire alarm; and all utilities, including telephone and cable TV, along with free Wi-Fi. “As folks grow older, they want to be able to maintain as much independence as possible,” says CarDon Chief Operating Officer Gregg Gormal. “Our growing community at Hamilton Trace allows residents to remain self-sufficient with the 68 / 2021 DIRECTORY AND RELOCATION GUIDE

comfort that assistance is here when they need it. We’re proud to build upon this community.” Along with the lounge and activity area, the community’s dining room, which serves three restaurant-quality meals a day, will also undergo expansion and renovation.
