Key people Jan Šafrata
Born in 1957. After graduating from the Technical University in 1982 he studied postgradually Design and then Art Photography. Till 1990 he worked as head of the Design department of a research institute. In 1990 he started working freelance for the advertising agency Grey Düsseldorf. In the beginning of 1992 he co-founded Grey Praha, where he was working as the Creative Director till November 1993. At Grey Düsseldorf he worked for half a year for clients like: Procter & Gamble, Visa, Sheba, Roche, Dr. Oetker. At Grey Praha he worked for: Procter & Gamble, Masterfoods, British Petroleum, Smithkline Beecham, Barum Continental, Oriflame, Lucky Strike, Chio, British Airways, Deleeuw Health and others. In 1995 he founded Klan.
Key people David Rýpal
Born in 1972. After graduation at Silesian University, Faculty of Business Administration he worked for several manufacturing and trading companies (Tonak, Global Express, BTL Medical Technologies), mostly in sales and new business departments. He works for Klan since 2002. In 2004 he passed one-year studies of advertising in Central European Advertising Art Institute, Prague. At past he worked for clients such as: BMW, MINI, Land Rover a Siemens. Nowadays he is in the position of Client Service Director.
Key people David Hanousek
Born in 1975. In 1996 he started his career at Bates/Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising working on clients as Toyota, Procter&Gamble, Ericsson and Lucky Strike. In 1999 he moved to Czech agency Ledoborec, where he worked for Eurotel, Datart, Reflex and Walmark. In 2000 he left to Euro RSCG New Europe to work for Paegas/T-Mobile, Peugeot, Komerční banka, Nextra and Sony. In 2003 he became a creative director of the Mašina agency that serviced Jan Becher, Olmeca, Havana Club, Škoda Auto, Scott Sports, Citibank and Staropramen. Since the beginning of 2007 he works at Klan as creative director.

We have one of the best experiences on the market with rebranding activities. We were responsible for the rebranding of the mobile phone operator Paegas changing into T-Mobile, the bank Expandia Banka into eBanka and latest also for the change of GE Capital into GE Money. During projects with T-Mobile and GE we worked very closely with international teams while our responsibilty was the complete adaptation for implementation on the Czech market. We have international know-how and offer complete production for competitive prices. We are able to prepare all supporting materials for PR including organization of special events. Media planning and buying is executed mostly with our partner media agency Vizeum or with the clients media agency. We have a big database of contacts to production and printing companies and always try to find the best solution for the project.

Principles of renumeration
The agency works in a transparent way. We use a task-managing-system that monitores all orders and the time each employee spends on them. Thanks to it our clients have perfect control over their orders. Our renumeration always depends on specific agreement between client and the agency. We cooperate either on a project-fee basis or on the basis of monthly flat fees. Also the combination of both methods is possible.
