people of tomorrow,
THIS IS WHAT TOMORROW LOOKS LIKE!
Well – this is it. The Spectaculum Amicorum came together, performed and partied for three days. We wrote history. This was the greatest show on Earth, the most marvelous extravaganza ever to grace the Holy Grounds of De Schorre. Even before the curtain rose, the Gathering turned into a joint statement of intent. ‘This weekend will be bizarre beyond belief ’ is what you told the world, before a long and restless DreamVille night. On the next day, the carnivalesque Mainstage was revealed. At first, the spectacle was overwhelming. All manner of circus acts, musicians, decorators, dancers, acrobats, speakers, magicians, and
creatures; they’d travelled far and wide to Boom to build a world of entertainment. But soon enough the spectators – you – began to merge with them. You became artists, too, and you painted a picture of Tomorrow. And what a beautiful picture it was. A picture wherein people unite as one, regardless of colour or creed. A future wherein worldly concerns are disregarded in favour of artisty and revelry. A future only the People of Tomorrow could imagine. Thank you, one and all, for your unbeatable contribution to the Amicorum Spectaculum’s cause, and for your dedication to Tomorrowland. And who knows… see you at the next Spectaculum?
safe travellers,
SPECTACLES & REVELATIONS This year’s Amicorum Spectaculum brought us countless

unforgettable moments. We kicked off the week with a dark Global Hardcore Nation take-over with legends like Angerfist, while on the other side of the festival Elrow opened the brand-new Organ of Harmony stage with a ridiculous amount of confetti, blow-up dolls, and music by Mark Maya and Joris Voorn, among others. Saturday was a milestone for Tomorrowland’s techno history, when the Belville Three, a collective of the three founders of Detrioit Techno, played an epic three-hour-long set for I Love Techno at the Wind Stage. But the climax of this weekend occurred when Belgium’s greatest artists took over: for the first time on Tomorrowland, the electropop band, Oscar & The Wolf, broke boundaries by playing a live show. They amicorum were followed spectaculum up by Flanders’ finest, Lost Frequencies and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. Once and forever, Tomorrowland put Belgium on the map of EDM pioneers!
Tomorrowland’s care for you doesn’t end when you’ve closed the doors of the festival behind you. We’ve prayed to the gods of dance music for your safe homecoming. So as we say in Belgium: “Voorzichtig op de baan eh!”
writers of history,
YOURS IS THE MEMORY! We’re hoping from the bottom of our hearts that you’ve made just as many new, fresh and great memories this weekend as we did – or maybe even more. Cherish those, don’t take them for granted. A good memory will last forever.
