There it is, friends, just across the horizon yonder: the fabled world of Silvyra, where connection is key and everything flows from, and into, nature. Can you smell it yet? The scent of sweet excitement, the sensuous floral perfumes? That, dear friends, would be the smell of Aedela, a city so entwined with the whole of the cosmos that it embodies Life itself. However, it is not yet time to go there. Take a rest upon the precipice first. Take a moment, look around; notice where you are and consider your unique situation. Why have you come here? How have you been guided? Who helped your reach this
point, and who is here with you? It is time, now, to convene your companions and as one, head on over to the Gathering. Here, say your thanks to one another, before you become a part of something larger: an intermingling of souls, an almost supernatural merging of minds that will form the prelude to Tomorrowland proper. Celebrate, sing, dance, revel in the spectacle marking the beginning of this weekend, friends. Beginnings only happen once, after all, and tomorrow begins the most remarkable adventure of your life.
Welcome to the epicentre of electronic music, that one festival that any raver has to experience at least once in a lifetime. This is where new styles are tested on the world’s largest crowds, where genres come together and blend into one. Over the course of this weekend, you may witness performances by the world’s greatest, including David Guetta , Armin van Buuren and Swedish House Mafia. Tomorrowland Belgium is also the perfect place to dive into the unknown, to discover new sounds by the likes of Polish techno star VTSS, British four-to-the-floor master Shanti Celeste or unusual collabs like a b2b by Solomun & indie electronic hero Four Tet. We wish you an incredible sonic journey!
The festival’s official app is the essential tool to stay up to date on the latest news, check the line-ups and listen to DJ sets, both live and on demand. Be sure to install the Tomorrowland app before the weekend kicks off!
Every Tomorrowland edition is an incredible celebration already, but this weekend will be particularly worthwhile, with additional festivities for the 20-year anniversary. Don’t miss out on the many activities dedicated to this!
You’d be forgiven to think Tomorrowland Today is written by the fairies. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Thanks for everything, you bunch of lovely writers, designers, photographers, producers and editors, you know who you are! WEATHER
The weather in Belgium can go every which way, so bring sunscreen and something warm to wear (a smile, perhaps?) when you leave your temporary home. And don’t forget your rain gear; there will be no free ponchos at the festival grounds!
Did you hear, see or do something that we should really know about? Do you urgently need to give someone the loudest ever shout-out? Is there something else we can help you with? Don’t sleep on it – drop us a line at today@tomorrowland.com!
IT’S TIME TO COME TO LIFE
People of Tomorrow, welcome to the 20th edition of the mother of all electronic festivals, the one that’s been in your hearts forever. These sounds, these beats, this feeling of togetherness – they were a part of you from the start, we know, and you’ve been longing to come here for so long. Today the day has come: you have arrived at the foothills of the Holy Grounds and are about to celebrate your love for music with your fellow ravers from around the world. More broadly speaking, we are all here to celebrate LIFE. Tomorrowland 2024 is an unparalleled cycle, surrounded by life-enhancing scents and colours, fuelled by the ancient force of the cosmos. And you have just landed in Belgium to take all of that in.
Unity is all around you
Tomorrowland 2024 will be home to 400,000 People of Tomorrow over the course of two weekends, fully dedicated to raving like there’s no tomorrow across no less than sixteen stages, including The Gathering – the magical location for the festival’s legendary opening party. And would you believe us if we told you that across two weekends, the line-up consists of over 800 artists?
Tomorrowland is a festival of unity, where people from over 200 nationalities come to acknowledge and honour that one thing that they simply adore: electronic dance music. This is their culture, this is your culture – this is that one thing that brings us together, it is the magic that unites us… Unites us, that is, in the stunningly beautiful land of Silvyra, the place where all those beautiful songs are set to be sung.
Now is the time to dance, hug, camp, eat, drink and enjoy the presence of everyone around you. Here’s to what may very well turn out to be the very best three days of your LIFE!
“Journey sets sail, waterways Cross the Moon and verse the days
The lows and news of all things be Sunlight garden, low red blossoms
Moon tides of the sea
When struggling for the magic grain
We throw life to the winds like rain”

FIRST AID
Medical emergency? Look for the ‘First Aid’ signs or find First Aid locations on your floorplan. There is always a doctor with every team. To bring medication onto the grounds you will need a doctor’s certificate.
THE TASTIEST MEAL OF THE DAY
Whether you’re an early bird who loves the morning or someone who needs a little help to get going at first, the Alpro Breakfast Bar has the perfect option for every mood. Choose from a mouthwatering variety of plant-based breakfast dishes to jump into your day, and don’t forget to grab your favourite coffee, whether it’s a plant-based latte, cappuccino or iced – Alpro has you covered. And what if you’re not sure what to order, you ask? No worries, the lovely Alpro team will happily guide you through their menu!
Earplugs are all made to protect your ears, but a lot of them are uncomfortable to wear or muffle the music. There just had to be a solution for this annoying problem, so Tomorrowland went looking for it and found it in Loop Earplugs, a critically acclaimed Belgian brand known for its high-quality hearing protection. The Tomorrowland X Loop Experience 2 Earplugs provide 17 decibels of attenuation and are certified hearing protection; high-fidelity earplugs, in other words, that enable you to fully enjoy your favourite music. New in the range are the ones that come in bright purple. Make sure to check them out – they’ll empower you to be completely free while you rave the days and nights away!
Find your Tomorrowland X Loop Experience 2 Earplugs at one of the Loop Earplugs stores indicated on the floorplan. They are alo available at all Official Tomorrowland Stores.
THE BEST DRINK THERE IS
Hydrating is key while you dance to the rhythm of the day. A little drink here or there is well and good, but don’t forget to stay hydrated with the elixir of life – water. Feel its revitalising flow course through your veins, fuelling every move and keeping you energised until the final encore. Drinking water has plenty of benefits: it protects your brain and supports cognitive function, clears up your skin, keeps you fresh and hydrated and, of course, quenches your thirst. Downing a glass of water before bed is not a way to make physical amends; try to drink H2O all throughout the day. To help you do so, you can find mobile water points all over Tomorrowland’s Holy Grounds to hydrate, elevate, and celebrate, one sip at a time! Drink More Water is a campaign that promotes responsible alcohol consumption. Head to lovetomorrow.com/ drinkmorewater for more info.
BACK UP WE GO
Celebrating the best of electronic music amidst the majestic French Alps has taught us one thing: festivals and winter sports make an unbeatable combination. The snow-capped peaks of Alpe d’Huez provided a breathtaking backdrop for the 2024 edition of Tomorrowland Winter, where the excitement of seven days of revelry unfolded into an unforgettable winter extravaganza.
In 2024, over 22,000 visitors indulged in eight stunning indoor and outdoor stages scattered across the mountains and the heart of Alpe d’Huez. With over 150 electronic artists and access to 250 km of exhilarating slopes, the thrill was endless. While we may be swapping our winter gear for sunny summer apparel right now, we’re thrilled to announce that Tomorrowland Winter will return in 2025 from March 15-22. Stay tuned for ticket sales starting in September 2024, with more information coming your way soon.

Seeing is believing: this is where your daydreams will very likely come true!
witness the fitness
Dancing may be the most fun thing in the world, but many of you would say working out follows a close second. Of course, DreamVille wouldn’t be DreamVille if sports weren’t done very differently here. If you ever wanted to exercise in a laidback, encouraging environment, then why not start your journey here? At DreamVille, exercise is rife but competition doesn’t count – everything the body does is fundriven and social at heart instead. Dance floors and sports fields are where valuable human connections are made, after all. Head over to the area between Magnificent Greens and the Marketplace and start making friends for LIFE!
ROLLING AROUND IN STYLE
By far the silliest game on DreamVille, Bumperball is like football or soccer, but played in a somewhat more, how shall we put it, bubbly fashion. Due to the fact that you’re inside a ball yourself, getting a hold of the ball is quite a challenge, but so much fun. Bumping into each other is guaranteed, but injuries are very unlikely. This is one of the safer games that never made it to the Olympics! Who’s in?

SOUNDSCAPE-FUELED YOGA
Tomorrowland has got to be the most appropriate place to sample SoundOnYoga, a music-driven take on the famous spiritual practice from ancient India. Combining ancient yogic philosophy with modern technology, the ultra-comfy, wireless headphones provided heighten your senses, allowing your mind and body to be relaxed, centred, and focussed on your practice. Or on the music: there is also a Silent Disco Yoga session every day at 13:00 in the Balance Area!

SCENERY OF A LIFETIME
A lot of work and care goes into bringing Silvyra, the beautiful, lush world of this year’s Tomorrowland, to life. And the results are very much worth it: over the course of this weekend, you will see grand vistas you could never have imagined, admire the jaw-dropping spectacle of the stages, and discover nooks and crannies full of intricate details. In other words, it’s the scenery of a lifetime! Please respect this beautiful world, dispose of waste using the recycling bins provided, and leave everything intact for tomorrow’s revelers. And don’t forget to take a picture here and there, of course!
IGNITE THE FUTURE WITH THE TOMORROWLAND FOUNDATION
DO SOMETHING GOOD TODAY, THAT TOMORROW WILL THANK YOU FOR
Kids and youngsters are the architects of tomorrow, and it’s up to us to help them reach their full potential. The Tomorrowland Foundation is on a mission to make this dream a reality. This year, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the festival, the Tomorrowland Foundation also marks significant milestones since its inception in 2016. It all began with the opening of the first Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School in the remote mountains of Nepal, during the autumn of 2018. Since then, the foundation’s impact has only grown. In 2022, they inaugurated a second Music & Arts School in Kolkata, India, and a third school in Itu, Brazil, is set to open later this year. Recently, they made their first step onto the African continent by teaming up with the NGO Join for Joy, bringing the magic of music, dance, and arts to kids in 30 schools across Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, and Uganda.
And the cherry on top this summer? The Tomorrowland Foundation is launching a toolkit developed by Mobile School and inspired by the essential Tomorrowland values: Live, Love, Unite. These values are embodied in fun, interactive games represented by twelve DJ Ambassadors, including NERVO, Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, Afrojack, Kölsch, Gordo, Netsky, Amber Broos, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Andromedik, and MATTN. These DJ Ambassadors will help unlock and empower the potential of young people worldwide in a playful and engaging way.
And it’s not just the kids reached by the 50 Mobile Schools who get to join in. The LIVE, LOVE, UNITE toolkit is available for everyone to download for free, using the QR code below. Curious how it works? Look out for the Mobile School on the festival site and at DreamVille. A team of Foundation ambassadors will be more than happy to explain the ins and outs. And why not try out the games for yourself? You’re more than welcome to join in the fun!

20 YEARS OF GLOBAL UNITY
Released in a black & gold limited edition this year, the Official 20 Years Tomorrowland Flag represents the spirit of its loving people. The flag captures the essence of humanity: a mix of limitless love, a sprinkle of adventure and a dash of boundless imagination. Bringing home the Official 20 Years Tomorrowland Flag is like taking a piece of magic, a symbol of unforgettable memories and incredible experiences. It serves as a constant reminder of a dream come true, a dream of celebrating music with the incredible community that gathers here. The flag comes with two plastic D-rings and two thumbholes, so it can easily be used as a cape or raised above the crowd.
The Limited Edition 20 Years Tomorrowland Flag is crafted from sorted PET materials, collected at Tomorrowland 2023. This production process involves transforming waste into resources, specifically focusing on the festival’s plastic cups.
FASHION THAT MAKES YOU SHINE
Looking for festival-ready wear that will spread the joy all the way home? Look no further, as Tomorrowland’s Official Apparel & Accessories aren’t just souvenirs you can enjoy every day for a long time to come; they’re also a means of connecting with People of Tomorrow around the world. And that is exactly what Tomorrowland is about. Wherever you go from here, those who know, will know: you are one of them, a lover of life, love, and unity. With many different collections available, there is a lot to explore. Go ahead and browse these pages, so that when you arrive at the Official Tomorrowland Stores, you will know which pieces to look at in person!
THE LIFE COLLECTION
Get your hands on your favourite shirt, hoodie or cap from the LIFE Theme Collection, readily available from the various Stores across the Holy Grounds as well as online. Fuelled by the ancient force of the cosmos, this brand-new range embodies the spirit of Tomorrowland’s 2024 edition in perfectly harmonious designs. Part of the selection is ‘The Spirit of Life’, Tomorrowland’s hardcover fantasy novel, taking you back to a vibrant era in Silvyra, a world of lush nature, where the conjunction of the two moons is about to happen.
Spectacularly, the LIFE Theme Collection also includes an exclusive 2LP vinyl compilation on Tomorrowland Music, which will no doubt turn into a collector’s item sooner rather than later. Rich in aesthetic detail, the record features works by festival favourites such as Lost Frequencies, David Guetta, ALOK, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix and Alesso. You can listen to the vinyl at the completely renewed Experience Store by the Freedom stage, and buy it at the Official Store behind the Mainstage or on store.tomorrowland.com

THE FLAVOURS OF LIFE TASTES OF THE WORLD
Memories and flavours are profoundly connected. A single bite of a scrumptious dish can transport us back in time, unlocking a flood of nostalgic emotions. The tang of a foreign holiday beverage, the aroma of a home-cooked meal, or the sensation of digging into a hearty bite at a sweet summer festival weekend, surrounded by your best friends — taste has the power to evoke vivid memories that linger in our hearts. Luckily, Tomorrowland brings you all the Tastes of the World, so that you can set out on a tantalising gastronomical adventure around the globe — or, of course, look for that one dish that tastes just like home. What do the Holy Grounds have in store for your taste buds in 2024, exactly? Let’s find out!
VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE AT MESA GARDEN
The Mesa Garden is a relatively secluded area, but all the better for it: here, there’s ample space to relax, and you will still know you’re at rave without being right in the middle of it. The area is known for a varied range of stands selling tasty bites and meals as well as extra varieties of drinks. The vastly different menus served by Chef Pam and Papillon perfectly represent the versatility of Mesa Garden.
PAPILLON COCKTAIL & TEA EXPERIENCE
Is tea the new whisky? We’re not entirely sure, but there’s one thing we do know: there is a whole world of subtle flavours and fragrances to be uncovered once you start exploring this hot, aromatic beverage of oriental origins. Elias Belmans and Farah Soeleimansjah – two dedicated mixologists – take the reigns over this area that is a most impressive paradise for the senses. Not only do the two expertly blend your drink, they are also gifted storytellers. Cocktail lovers need not to worry either, as it is not just tea that will be served; Elias and Farah are also firmly rooted in the world of the most delicate of alcoholic refreshments. Brand new this year is the area’s herb garden, where guests are invited to explore the origins of their drinks of choice.
CHEF PAM’S AROMATIC THAI STREETFOOD
Excitingly, the youngest ever female chef to receive a Michelin star also holds the title of Asia’s Best Female Chef 2024... and Pichaya Soontornyanakij, better known as Chef Pam, is bringing her delicious Thai dishes to Tomorrowland this year. In fact, Chef Pam stands for much more than just one idea: Pichaya owns, conceptualises and operates a range of different bars and restaurants in her native Bangkok and beyond. One of them is Smoked, where she integrates typically Thai beef recipes with the smoked, ‘Texan’ varieties of beef. Chef Pam also owns Potong restaurant, which is widely regarded to be one of Asia’s top restaurants. Whatever type of Thai street food it is that Chef Pam will cook up for you this year, it is bound to be mouth-wateringly good. Look out for the Chef Pam stand at the lush Mesa Garden area.
JOINING FORCES WITH THE STARS
Dining with a view of the Mainstage has been one of the biggest draws of the Tomorrowland Restaurant since day one. This is where all of your senses come together as one; it is the epicentre of all the good things in the world, a maelstrom of experience sonically and visually, with the added taste of the most exciting food imaginable. This year, the restaurant collaborates with no less than four Michelin star chefs: Thijs Meliefste from the Netherlands; Brazilian-born, Ghent-based Marcelo Ballardin; Nick Bril from Antwerp (who is also a DJ!); and Dutch top chef Roger van Damme, who returns to Tomorrowland year after year due to popular demand as well as critical acclaim. Savour the culinary brilliance crafted by these four masters; they’ve created a special menu revolving around this year’s festival theme, LIFE. Creativity flourishes in of all of these collabs and no single visit to the restaurant is ever the same – take our word for it!
AND THE HILLS SHALL DROP DELICATE WINE
With good food comes great wine and Tomorrowland knows it; they’ve been on top of their sommelier’s game for a while now. The Acta Non Verba range comes in limited edition Chardonnay, Shiraz and Rosé varieties, which are all the hard-won result of vines in the Adelaide hills, a place where the quality of the wine is defined by the actions of the winemakers, not their words. The vines in the Adelaide hills cling to steep rocky hillsides shrouded in fog where the grapes ripen slowly, fanned by a cool gully breeze. Making these wines by hand in this terroir results in a seamless, elegant and pure profile with an acid structure and length which lasts forever. It is this unique region, in combination with traditional methods and pristine knowhow, that leads to Acta Non Verba displaying big, bold, intense flavours, besides the tantalising elegance and softness which have become its hallmarks. Fun fact: the Shiraz (3000 bottles) and Chardonnay (4800 bottles) varieties are extremely limited and are almost sold out already in their current vintages. A few bottles remain to order at actanonverbawines.com, if you’re fast enough. And if you want to taste the exclusive Acta Non Verba wines on the spot, you will find them in the Brasa Restaurant, the Wine Boutique at Brasa, and the Wine Boutique at Mesa Garden.
THE BRASA BBQ EXPERIENCE
Brasa is an incredible lakeside dining spot, where the art of BBQ’ing is celebrated amidst an oasis of culinary tranquillity with the added benefit of an excellent Belgian Beer Bar and Apéro zone nearby. At Brasa, diners can choose between the Brasa BBQ Experience and the Brasa BBQ Experience Deluxe. Both options include a welcome drink, water, an appetizer, a main and a sweet bite. And Tomorrowland wouldn’t be Tomorrowland if all of this weren’t to be enjoyed while you wiggle to the world’s best groovy beats.

TASTEBUD ADVENTURER?
TRY SOMETHING NEW!
RAMEN BY UMAMIDO
Umamido, a high-quality chain of Japanese restaurants operating out of several Belgian and Swiss cities, has finally branched out to Tomorrowland, serving a range of ramen noodle dishes.
POKÉ BOWL BY BART DE POOTER
Inspired by the incredibly successful Poké Selection by Tomorrowland Kitchen in Brussels, this wholesome, Pacific Ocean-tinged Poké Bowl formula just had to be present at the Holy Grounds. Poké Bowl is one of the best cold dishes in the world – if you’ve never had one before, it is surely going to be one of your favourites after tasting this creation by top chef Bart de Pooter.
FISH BURGERS BY JEAN SUR MER
Whatever your heart’s desire, Antwerp-based fish restaurant Jean Sur Mer does the best fish, be it streetfood style or haute cuisine. At Tomorrowland, they’ve dedicated themselves to serving you the very best fish burgers.
THE TOMORROWLAND BURGER
A smash burger that can compete with the very best in the world, this one locks in all of the juices and flavour. Veggie versions are also readily available.
AÇAI BOWLS BY THE HOLY BERRY (DREAMVILLE)
Growing from palm trees in the deep forests of Brazil, the Açai berry is a nutritious superfood that serves as an excellent key ingredient for your first meal of the day. Get your Açai bowl, also including a range of other fruits, at the Açai Bowls stand of The Holy Berry at DreamVille.
DELICIOUS ZERO ALCOHOL BEERS
There once was a time when you simply had to gulp down a soda if you wanted a non-alcoholic beverage. With the rise of zero-alc beers, those times are long gone. One of the world’s best 0.0% lagers, Jupiler, is now available all across Tomorrowland Belgium. The Belgian Beer Bar also serves Hoegaarden Rosée and Leffe’s Blond and Brown beers in a 0.0% version. Ice cold, of course!
EASY TENT BUFFET BREAKFAST
DreamVille is where you recharge with some sound sleep followed by a nourishing breakfast. If just ‘decent’ morning food isn’t good enough for you, and you’re staying in the Easy Tent area, you are in luck: here, the breakfast has been kicked up a notch this year. If you have a voucher, look forward to a buffet dotted with hot and cold dishes and bites, all at your disposal. Set breakfasts are also available, as well as burgers, Belgian fries and hot drinks.
STAY SAFE IN THE SUN
“Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, makes you wanna move your dancing feet,” Bob Marley once sang. We all know it: sunshine is one of the best things in life, when enjoyed responsibly. So make sure to bring high-SPF sunscreen wherever you go, wear sunnies, cover your head and get some shade every now and then. Let’s keep raving sunstroke-free!
BE KIND, UNITE
The 20th year of Tomorrowland is best enjoyed together, and being kind and respectful towards each other makes it all even better! Everyone is here for the same reason –because they love great music and having a great time, so it’ll be pretty easy to get along. Remember to always be kind, smile and wave at your neighbour, but also respect each other’s space and privacy. Clearing up after yourself is also generally appreciated by your fellow ravers so please do so and remember: putting stuff in the bin is more fun at Tomorrowland than when you’re cleaning the house!
SUMMER DAYS, IBIZA NIGHTS
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have forever changed Wednesday nights in Ibiza since they first set foot in Ushuaïa, the island’s most fabulous club. Aptly named after the capital city of Argentina’s remote Tierra del Fuego area, the open-air beach club is turned upside down when the two brothers hit the decks, bringing unparalleled dance floor entertainment under the creative supervision of your favourite festival, Tomorrowland. This season’s guests will include Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, The Chainsmokers and – surprisingly, perhaps – nu-techno hero Marlon Hoffstadt. Dimi and Mike’s magical takeover happens most Wednesdays until the 2nd of October, so the choice is yours!
CARNIVAL OF DREAMS
You waited with bated breath, yearning for its return, and finally, your wishes were granted with the triumphant comeback of Tomorrowland Brasil in 2023. Now, we’re ready to take it to the next level in 2024. Returning to the stunning backdrop of Parque Maeda in Itu, São Paulo from October 11-13, this year’s edition embraces the mythical theme of ‘Adscendo’. Prepare yourself for a vibrant celebration as the sun sets over the lush landscapes of this iconic venue! This year’s lineup features global icons like Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, Steve Aoki, Bonobo, Boris Brejcha, Lost Frequencies, Amber Broos, MANDY, and many more. Local talent including ALOK, ANNA, Cat Dealers, BADSISTA, Due, FATSINK, Mary Mesk, Vintage Culture, and Zerb will also grace the stages. Tickets are on sale as we speak, awaiting those who seek the extraordinary. Will you be among the chosen few?
A classic and much-beloved part of the festival by now, especially with the unlucky birds without tickets, the Tomorrowland livestream is broadcast to all the major channels: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, the website and the app. Invite your folks to watch along in crisp 4K footage, or ask your mates to spot you on the stream on the go – it’ll be a breeze thanks to the new vertical video setup being premiered this year. Viewers are welcome to switch between the live feeds from the Freedom stage and the Mainstage as they please, starting every day between 16:00 and 17:00 CET. In between the two weekends, 22-25 July, the very best Planaxis, CORE, Crystal Garden, Atmosphere, Freedom and Mainstage shows will be broadcast through those very same channels. Watching them is the very best way to cherish that wonderful Tomorrowland afterglow!
A NEW CORE EXPERIENCE
At the heart of this year’s brand-new CORE stage lies a tale of global exploration. And so, its journey began in January this year, in the lush jungle of Tulum, where it seamlessly blended into its natural surroundings for two magical nights. Featuring a rugged structure full of water elements, immersive lighting, and laser beams, this stage marked a new era by integrating light, video, and scents to heighten the sensory experience. It journeyed to South America, gracing Medellín’s botanical garden at CORE Medellin, set against a backdrop of charming natural beauty. Slowly, this stage was turning into a true symbol of global movement, showcasing leading figures of house & techno to the People of Tomorrow worldwide. Now, brace yourself as this all-new creation returns to our enchanting forest in Boom for the very first time during the two weekends of Tomorrowland Belgium. And what lies ahead for this iconic experience? Only time will unveil its next chapter…
STARTING THE TRILOGY
Close followers of Tomorrowland knew it already: narratives, chapters and stories of magic are an integral part of the Tomorrowland experience and just as important as the artists and their music. If you’re a close follower of the festival’s themes and an avid reader, we’ve got news for you: following the backstories of ‘Adscendo’ and ‘The Spirit of Life’, Tomorrowland’s first standalone novel will come out this fall and it’s the first part of the Great Library of Tomorrow trilogy. All of this means that you are invited to step into your favourite world in the comfort of your own home, just as the first frosty winds arrive from the north. Pre-order this enchanting, one-of-a-kind page-turner in your language of choice via thegreatlibraryoftomorrow.com/novels.
TOMORROWLAND ACADEMY: HOW TO BECOME A STAR
Developing artists have always had the interest of Tomorrowland. It isn’t just the big names you’ll see on the line-up; young, inventive and energetic talents populate every single festival bill. Tomorrowland Academy has taken this interest one step further: literally anyone with a passion for music is invited to join the production and DJ’ing fun, potentially becoming tomorrow’s superstars. Now, several years since its inception, the Academy is no longer just a simple course. Elaborate packages are on offer to everyone’s taste and ability. Let us guide you through what’s on offer.
Academy Bootcamp in Boom
This is as classic as the Tomorrowland Academy gets: hands on the controls, united with your fellows. These highly recommendable in-person courses consist of DJ workshops, production classes, music management lessons, motivational sessions and communal breakfasts and lunches, as well as an actual performance at the Rise stage. They take place in the week ahead of Tomorrowland Belgium’s first weekend. So if you missed the opportunity this year, worry not – registration for next year’s bootcamp will open soon. Find out more at the bottom of this page.
Online Masterclasses
Many of this year’s online masterclass instructors are accomplished artists in their own right and it only makes sense for them to focus on what they do best. Take James
Hype, who has taken the craft of DJ’ing to a higher level over the past few years; he will teach the most impressive tricks on several types of gear from a home-style to a flagship setup. Jack-of-all-trades Laidback Luke, who is always on top of the latest techniques, teaches a course on stem separation, integration of AI and the future of music mixing. Also teaching are Italian duo Agents of Time, who will be sharing their knowledge on how to build a live set in what looks to be an incredibly interesting masterclass.
The WALL Pro Academy
Anyone keen on a comprehensive course that covers nearly everything will want to take a look at the newly introduced WALL Pro Academy. The course, tutored by none other than Afrojack, features 30 hours’ worth of tutorials on production, mixing, mastering, DJ’ing, marketing, managing, mentality and more. Pre-register for this particular series of workshops now and you may even find yourself staying over at Afrojack’s house by the end of the course.
Start learning the trade: don’t sleep on it!
Do you feel the time has come to follow your dreams of becoming a DJ/producer? Then make sure to keep a close eye on academy.tomorrowland.com to find out when registration opens for next year’s bootcamp. This is also where you will find all the information you need about the Academy’s online packages, which can be purchased for just €15 per month.
LOVE TOMORROW CONFERENCE
Created in the spirit of Tomorrowland’s People of Tomorrow who live today, love tomorrow, and unite forever, Love Tomorrow aims to help entrepreneurs and creators become more sustainable. Although Love Tomorrow’s annual conference in Boom certainly isn’t their sole project, it is the one that is within reach of each and single visitor to Tomorrowland. Tucked in between the two festival weekends, it’s easy to visit the conference before or after enjoying the festival. It lasts one day, with much to see, do and learn, surrounded by the most delightful aesthetics of Tomorrowland. This year’s speakers include Brazilian DJ/producer ANNA, Rashid Al Abdallah, Executive Director of the African Energy Commission, bestselling author Rutger Bregman, and internationally renowned Belgian rockstar Mauro Pawlowski, of dEUS fame. The ultimate event to get inspired to live a more sustainable life, the Love Tomorrow conference is a place to network and potentially even find a job that meets your ethical standards, all the while enjoying the music and entertainment that make this festival so beloved.
EXPERIENCE THE WORLD OF TOMORROW
Introducing the Tomorrowland Experience Store, a wondrous hub where everything Tomorrowland comes together. Things you didn’t know existed are waiting for you there... In between the Melodia stage and the Freedom stage, you will find this all-new one-stop shop, where you can experience the latest Tomorrowland collaborations and products. Taste Tomorrowland’s sparkling wine, Solo Vida Reserva, ride the Tomorrowland x Ridley gravel bike through a virtual world, discover the scents of LIFE with the Baobab Collection x Tomorrowland candles, behold a scale model of Tomorrowland’s airplane Amare, and listen to this year’s most exclusive release on Tomorrowland Music in premiere: the official LIFE double LP vinyl compilation. It doesn’t stop there, though: look out for the DJ Booth to win a free Tomorrowland Academy session, or head over to the JBL zone to play a mini arcade game in which you can win a slick new boombox by the world’s leading portable speaker brand. Want to grab a copy of the Official 20 Years Tomorrowland flag made or discover so many other experiences? The Experience Store is open 12:00 - 22:00 daily.
The music of LIFE is to be heard all across the Holy Grounds this weekend. In Focus on the Music, you can find all there is to know about it, from hostings to line-ups and interviews to special features.
FRIDAY 19 JULY CAGE FOOTWORXX
Footworxx is the go-to rave for Belgians with a soft spot for hard beats. Hardcore/ gabber as a genre may have its origins in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, but there was always exchange with the Belgian club landscape, so the genre soon gained popularity in Tomorrowland’s country of origin in the nineties. The music spun at Footworxx events is the modern cousin of that old-school sound: not for the faint of heart, and therefore suitable for a smaller, dimly lit space such as the Cage. Expect DJ sets at breakneck speeds by experienced hardcore DJs such as Sakyra, Unicorn on K, Unsyn and Vandal.
SATURDAY 20 JULY GLITTERBOX RISE BY COKE STUDIO
If you find yourself on a dance floor where everyone hugs, kisses and throws their hands up to the sounds of classic house & disco, you know it’s Glitterbox where you’re at. A deep love for the original club culture of New York City shines through everything Defected Records boss Simon Dunmore puts together at his parties. From Dunmore’s own club at Hï Ibiza to various venues in the UK and Europe, Glitterbox have had the very best of NYC’s original house DJs headlining their bills. Naturally, the Glitterbox area at Tomorrowland doesn’t disappoint. Headlining the area will be one of Canada’s most exciting new names in underground club music: the ever-energetic Jayda G!
SUNDAY 21 JULY SMASH THE HOUSE THE LIBRARY
Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have been an essential part of Tomorrowland for most of its two-decade history. Even their Ushuaïa residency in Ibiza is Tomorrowland-produced; these guys live and breathe Tomorrowland in everything they do, in other words. It comes as no surprise, then, that their stage hosting turns out to be one of the most outstanding today. The artists featured at Smash the House represent a wide range of electronic sounds. A taste? There’s hardstyle mainstay Brennan Heart, deep house hero Sam Feldt and masters of psytrance, Vini Vici. Now that’s a meeting of minds to dance to.
ONE WORLD RADIO
Over the course of this splendid festival weekend, One World Radio will be your one-stop destination for live footage from the festival, interviews with the artists, practical information, hilarious chatter and simply the best music. You can tell your friends who didn’t come, in other words, that tuning into OWR is the very best and only way to get that Tomorrowland Belgium feeling at home. And then, you can tune back in after the fact for the very best sets of the weekend just past. But before that, while still at the festival, nothing beats waking up to the sounds of the one radio station that plays nothing but your favourite electronic music. OWR host Camille Pollie took a moment to tell us what it’s like, making a radio show during the world’s greatest festival.
LIFE ON THE AIRWAVES
Tomorrowland 2024 is here! Tell us something about the feeling of anticipation. What’s that like for a radio presenter like yourself?
“On the first day, everything feels super fresh and exciting. You know that over the course of the next few days a transition will happen. People will open up to you in ways you never expected and you always hear surprising stories. I’m getting goosebumps already.”
What’s your favourite thing about the One World Radio studio at Tomorrowland?
“Well, normally you’re making a program for people around the world and that’s really cool, but when you’re here, everything is different. My show is called ‘Meet the World’ and that’s exactly what I’m doing here. I do part of my work in the studio, but I also spend lots of time talking to the People of Tomorrow across the different stages and elsewhere on the Holy Grounds. Feeling that energy is something I thrive on for the rest of the year. So many people have their own particular story – they’ve gone through things they want to share, they just got married. Whatever it is, people are keen to share their experiences because Tomorrowland is such an amazing place. And to get back to your question about the studio: what I love about it the most is that everyone can drop in to say hello. So there you go, everyone is invited to drop by. We’re near the Rise stage!”
Tomorrowland turns 20 this year. Tell us about your own first memory of the festival.
“Well, being Belgian, I have known of the festival for a very long time. But it was only in 2019, when I visited this site for the very first time, that I realised that the feeling of positivity, of unity, was also having an emotional effect on myself. I knew about the big names, about the incredible stages, but I didn’t expect to be touched by things that are actually even grander than just the obvious facts. The feelings are just as important as the line-up, the decoration, et cetera.”
Which artist are you most excited to see personally and why? “It’s hard to pick one, but I am super excited to see the Blessed Madonna. Fred Again.. made a song with snippets of a few very touching words she spoke during Covid in the song ‘Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing)’. These really resonated with me, as what she said had to do with being disconnected from other human beings. At the time, I had just had a baby and I couldn’t really share the experience with friends and family due to the restrictions. ‘Marea’ is about pain, but also about hope, which is what I loved so much about it. I recently ran 20 kilometres for the first time and near the end of it, this song popped up on my Spotify – a very special moment. Now that she’s playing Tomorrowland, I can’t wait to see her.”

THE GATHERING
GATHERED HERE TO PARTY
Welcome to the lush fields of DreamVille, where LIFE and good times abound! You have come from every single continent to step into the unparalleled cycle, amidst surroundings of scents and colours, fuelled by the ancient force of the cosmos… all of that to witness music come to LIFE and to simply have the greatest of all times. Setting up camp early is always a great idea and especially at Tomorrowland’s campground DreamVille, as it will enable you to start the pre-partying right away – and with the infamous Gathering coming up this Thursday, you will want to come early indeed.
When you imagine a pre-party you may think of a modest event, a place where you hug your friends and have a first drink, nod your head a little to the music, and pop a few first moves. Those things are certainly all possible at The Gathering, but expect a lot more than a tiny little rave, or you’ll be in shock for the rest of your weekend. With capacity for 30,000 ravers, The Gathering is a festival in its own right. It is where you may bump into fellow People of Tomorrow, friends you met last year or never before. It is where old friendships are renewed and where new pals are made to the soundtrack of highly energetic beats, driving basslines and euphoric melodies. The Gathering, in other words, is Tomorrowland in a nutshell, with a line-up so sweet, you might be tempted to lick it. One artist to definitely look forward
to is Andromedik, a drum ‘n bass giant whose rolling breaks and wobbly basslines have been played out by the biggest global stars in the genre. The Gathering is an excellent place to sample a little bit of any electronic music subgenre imaginable, sometimes even within a single set. Michael Amani – playing The Gathering at 18:45 – is a key example of someone who combines genres like techno, hardtrance and EDM to create an ultra-energetic vibe. Closing The Gathering are two of the world’s greatest guys in the field of euphoric hardstyle, going by the name of Da Tweekaz. And there’s no less than three surprise acts to discover! You guessed it, this is going to one hell of a rave to start off with. Behave yourselves!
LET’S JUST MEET FRONT LEFT
Being much smaller than Tomorrowland, The Gathering is a relatively suitable place to first meet up with your friends from back home or abroad. It is, in other words, the ideal site for kisses and hugs. Our tip of the day is to pick a landmark and turn it into your designated friends’ area. This approach will save you a lot of trouble when your battery runs out. But remember: don’t all say “meet me front left” or it’ll get too crowded in that one little corner!
IN THE MIX DANCE MUSIC’S HOTTEST ALCHEMISTS
One of the most notable recent trends in the development of music has certainly been the gradual dissolution of genre boundaries, which are no longer the rigid walls they once were. Genre-bending artists are reshaping the musical landscape, mixing sounds and traditions and breaking away from old conventions as they create new ones, which are harder to define but arguably even more fun to explore. Their alchemical concoctions make music come to life anew, whether it comes to recorded music or playing DJ sets, and there is nothing these free spirits won’t mash up: house, techno, rock, drum & bass, hyperpop, bubbling, amapiano… you name it, they’ve got it. Now let’s see where the art of genre bending is to be enjoyed at Tomorrowland Belgium 2024!
FRIDAY | PLANAXIS | 22:00 – 23:00
At once melodic, smooth and poppy, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s music also has a tribal feel to it. Heavily influenced by underground house producers like Masters at Work, Roger Sanchez and Dennis Ferrer, it is that element of soulful percussion that makes performances by this energetic duo stand out from the rest. Stay after their own set for a spectacular b2b2b with Philou Louzoulou & Amémé!
| ATMOSPHERE | 00:00 – 00:55
Polish-born, London-based artist Martyna Maja, better known under her stage name VTSS, plays and creates high-energy, relentless techno with distinct hyperpop qualities. By combining these two worlds, Martyna appeals to the various needs of the body and the soul; she makes sure you won’t stop dancing while her melodies stay stuck in your head forever.
From a DJ playing mainly house and techno, Philou Louzolo has slowly but surely turned into one of the key connectors between club music of the Global North and African club styles like afrotech, amapiano and gqom. What’s the common denominator in his performances, then? It’s a certain steaminess and a sense of suspense, coming together to make his sets irresistible and addictive.
It’s been a while since we last saw Chuckie at Tomorrowland, but he’s reappeared onto the scene again after a few quieter years. Collaborating with much younger producer De Schuurman, Chuckie has released the new track ‘Gangster Sht’ on the hippest Ugandan label around: Nyege Nyege Tapes. Chuckie is a pioneer of the bubbling genre, but he’s known to be open-minded and regularly adds elements of hardstyle and hip-hop to his sets.
SUNNERY
HAAI
| CORE | 21:00 – 22:30
Australian DJ producer Teneil Throssell, aka HAAi, entered the world of professional music as a member of psychedelic rock band Dark Bells. The move from being in that group to DJ’ing and producing is less extreme than you may think; Throssell started mixing up rock, funk and ethnic sounds at the famous Ridley Road Market bar in the East London borough of Hackney before moving on to a sound that is best described as techno with a healthy dose of breakbeats.
3 ARE LEGEND
| MAINSTAGE | 22:50 – 23:50
One of the most talked-about EDM supergroups, 3 Are Legend is a project by Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Steve Aoki. Whilst they describe their own music as emotive electro-house for stadiums, there is in fact much to it than that. For the group’s first release ‘Phat Brahms’, they used some famous riffs from classical music to create a banging tune that will certainly get you going when you hear it on the Mainstage.
TIMMY TRUMPET
Not only has Timmy Trumpet introduced elements of jazz to an EDM crowd, introducing the irresistible sound of his brass instrument to his tracks and performances, he’s also a blender of styles within the broader electronic music spectrum. Timmy has covered a range of subgenres across his many releases, including electro house, house, hardstyle, psychedelic trance, big room house, funk and Melbourne bounce.
| MAINSTAGE | 20:40 – 21:40
Afrojack, who didn’t grow up with his tunes? One of the reasons he’s still so relevant today is that he has never been afraid to explore new musical pathways. Over the course of his career, Afrojack has produced Dutch house, EDM, trap, future house, moombahton, trap, techno and electro house, never skipping a beat. As to what he’ll bring this time – you’ll have to find our for yourself!
JELLYBEAN BENITEZ
Being a native of the South Bronx, John “Jellybean” Benitez’ first job in music was to be a DJ at salsa parties. He moved on to playing famous clubs like Studio 54 before being introduced to Madonna, for whom he remixed several early hits, and doing production for Whitney Houston. With such an eclectic career behind him, it is no wonder that this veteran DJ seamlessly blends just about any style of music into his sets. Seeing him at Tomorrowland may be a once-in-alifetime opportunity!
CULTURE
| MAINSTAGE | 17:35 - 18:35
A Brazilian electronic producer with a big love for historic pop anthems, it is exactly these big tunes from the past that Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol has introduced to a brand-new audience. New Order’s ‘Blue Monday’ was already a dance record before getting the Vintage Culture remix treatment, but Pink Floyd’s ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ was promptly given a whole new vibe when the Mundo Novo native gave it a new, banging sonic identity.
Marea Stamper isn’t so much a DJ of styles; more so, she delivers vibes. Operating from a deep knowledge of America’s club culture in spirit and sound, she has also worked with leftfield pop artists on her own releases. Collaborators include Dua Lipa, Missy Elliott, Mark Ronson and Uffie. The Blessed Madonna is a seamless blender of styles and her set will no doubt turn out to be one of Tomorrowland’s highlights this year.
Danish group WhoMadeWho started out in the early 2000s, a time when mixing up punk, rock and electro was the hippest thing ever. Alongside contemporaries like Daft Punk, Hot Chip, and LCD Soundsystem, the band were dedicated to combining a dance floor vibe with their rock band aestethics. WhoMadeWho’s performances are hybrid, pop and rock-tinged DJ sets characterised by neverending hypnotic grooves and the occasional guitar riff.
FOCUS ON FRIDAY MAGICAL
DAYBREAK SESSIONS
OLIVER HELDENS
MAINSTAGE | 12:00
A two-and-a-half hour stretch of music blended together by the world’s most accomplished DJs on a great sound system with lots of space to dance and chill, that’s Tomorrowland’s Daybreak Sessions for you. Excitingly, the very first selector to take the Daybreak reins this weekend is the versatile Rotterdam-based DJ/producer named Oliver Heldens. He frankly doesn’t need an introduction, but we figured it’s a great way to get you hyped up for his marathon set.
By the time Oliver released his first BBC Essential Mix in 2014 off the back of his first single ‘Gecko’, Pete Tong had already dubbed him “one of the breakthrough producers of the year”. Heldens balances on the thin line between future house, deep house and mainstream dance. If only that were the full recipe, anyone could copy the master, but hell no: Heldens’ magic goes way beyond that. He has developed into an even more versatile producer in recent years, when he added a healthy dose of techno to his repertoire, some of which blends nicely into the old Heldens sound. The technoesque works are released under his HI-LO moniker, which he introduced as early as 2015, with ‘Crank It Up’ being the first release. Oliver’s career movements have been far from one-directional, as he’s continued to remix some of the world’s biggest artists alongside his exploration of deeper club sounds. There have been times when the avid remixer needed less than a year to work his magic, for reinterpretations of tracks by Katy Perry, Jamiroquai and Charlie Puth. It is this incredible versatility that we expect Oliver Heldens to display during this gorgeous early afternoon set you will not want to miss.

HARDWELL
Can you imagine there once was a time when we didn’t have Hardwell in our lives? It’s not even that long ago, and it seemed to last forever: four long years. Back in the game for almost exactly two years, the Dutch producer seems more energetic and productive than ever, exploring new ways of doing things. It’s like he never took his sabbatical al all, and it looks like we’ve got many more years left to enjoy the genius that is Hardwell. Here’s what he has to say about it!
You’ve now rounded off your second year back into touring. How do you look back on it? Do you do and experience things differently than before your break from touring?
“These past couple of years have been an exciting period of creativity and of reconnecting with my fans in a new way as I changed my sound. It’s been amazing and it fills me with so much joy seeing the buzz the crowd gets from the music. Words really can’t really describe the feeling! I’ve learnt to bring more balance into my life which has also been a gamechanger for me in the studio. The amount of music I’ve been creating is insane. I’ve got so much music backed up ready to come out.”
You’ve tried out a lot of different genres in your career. ‘Oldskool Sound’ has a recognisable big room feel to it, but you’ve also done techno stuff quite recently. How important is doing different things for you?
“I’ve always had this rebel inside me, pushing against the barriers to try something new.”
“Doing things differently is so, so important to me!
It’s why I started my label Revealed, it’s why I went my own way when others said ‘don’t do it’. It’s also why I named my album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’. I’ve always had this rebel inside me, pushing against the barriers to try something new. I want to explore
new genres, try new things as well as old things, and experiment. Maybe I’ll get it right, maybe I won’t, but you have to try, otherwise you’ll never know.”
You have recently done a rework of an old 2 Unlimited song: ‘Let the Beat Control Your Body’. They were one of the first popular electronic music acts from the Netherlands. What is you connection with them and how did you come up with the idea for this rework?
“My connection is probably the same as everyone else’s who remembers them from that time. They were such a huge act with massive chart hits. They symbolise a golden era of Eurodance from that period. I’ve always admired what they achieved through their music, and being a Dutch artist myself made it extra special. My edit was an addition to the work Nifra had already done on 2 Unlimited’s dynamic and iconic original.”
You recently released a free sample pack for producers. Can you tell us a little bit about that?
How do you value sample packs in general? Do you ever feel other people’s music may start sounding like yours? And have you used sample packs yourself throughout your career?
“I’ve never shared my sound designs before, but I felt like the time was right. My aim was to create something that was accessible to everyone. If you’re a beginner, you can just download it and dive right in. It’s there to be messed around with and to explore your own creativity with. In my early years I did use sample packs, and this led me to start
designing my own sounds. It was a journey that broadened my horizons as a producer, so I wanted to give people a launchpad for themselves to leap from. I think there’s always the risk of other people sounding like artists they like, but that’s fine, it’s about evolution and growing as an artist.”
What will you be doing at Tomorrowland besides playing your set? What are you looking forward to?
“One of the things I love so much about Tomorrowland, aside from playing there, is the way it brings so many different people from so many different places all to one place. It’s always a great opportunity to connect with everyone. In recent years, Tomorrowland has also become renowned for the food on offer, bringing world class chefs to the festival site, so I’m looking forward to experiencing the new menus they’ll have this year.”
Are there any new tracks you will be premiering at Tomorrowland – and will you give your fans a sneak preview here?
“Fans will definitely get new music in my show. I recently released ‘XTC’, which I will definitely play. It’s been really popular with the fans and I’m super happy it’s finally out. And I’ve been working on a lot of new music lately, and have some super special tracks and edits lined up for my Tomorrowland set. I can’t wait!”

LAIDBACK LUKE
PRESENTS WAYBACK LUKE
MAINSTAGE | 12:00
Every month, Laidback Luke – a Tomorrowland regular and an absolute icon of the dance scene –hosts an exclusive one-hour show on One World Radio, where he takes you on a magical journey back to the golden age of dance music. During the program, he celebrates this vibrant history while sharing some of his own most memorable stories. Opening the Mainstage today, Luke will likely bring the vibe of his show to LIFE, taking you way back on a tour of classic dance music.
Probably the most admired EDM DJ among underground music heads, there’s a reason for the peculiar position between mainstream and indie scenes that Laidback Luke holds. He first started getting into dance music during the early nineties when various genres of electronic music including techno, trance and house were championed at the very same raves. The sounds soon started to become associated with different scenes and fanbases with widely diverging lifestyles and views on what dance music should be. Pigeonholing practices be damned, Luke never lost the old-school, versatile approach to loving and playing music, so when EDM came along, he also embraced the grandness of that sound. Due to his extensive musical knowledge, Laidback Luke’s sets are stuffed with goodies from all genres and eras, with various intensities and tempos. Too experienced to be bothered about going with the latest trends for the sake of it, Luke plays whatever he sees fit. Luke’s love for electronic music is stronger than ever and that’s why this performance is set to be a one-ofa-kind Daybreak Session that is not to be missed.

A key member of the Tomorrowland family, Felix de Laet aka Lost Frequencies is one of the most talented melody makers in the current electronic scene. He often works his magic in close collaboration with vocalists like Calum Scott, Aloe Blacc, and most recently David Kusher. Felix finds inspiration for his very original mode of songwriting in the indie rock he loves listening to when he’s not producing. Blending genres is a great way of creating new music - we couldn’t agree more, so let’s dive into it!
Felix, you’ve created an incredibly catchy new song with David Kusher called ‘Feel it in My Bones’. How did it come about? What can you tell us about the process of co-creating the song?
“I am a huge fan of David and his singles, including ‘Daylight’. He has such a rich vocal delivery and is a real songwriting talent, so I was very excited to collaborate with him for ‘In My Bones’. I wanted to release this single for my fans ahead of the spring/ summer season as it has a real uplifting vibe. I’d say it has a progressive house sound, but it still also has these really cool keys and tempos throughout, to make sure it always has surprises in store for the listener. For me, David’s vocal added an almost soulful edge that’s rich and striking – it’s a popdance track that I know will make an appearance at Tomorrowland, for sure!”
still remember camping with my friends on festival fields; it was an amazing time, surrounded by music lovers.”
Your music always contains uplifting vocals, which makes us think that you must have listened to a lot of inspiring music growing up. What are the artists that have inspired you the most and why?
“Growing up, I listened to a wide variety of music. Of course, there was a lot of electronic music, but I also delved into a lot of unreleased hip-hop music that I discovered on blogs. Indie rock, however, is
the style that inspires me the most when producing music. It’s more about the vibe rather than the production, which really makes me reconsider the way I do things myself.”
What are your plans for the near future? Have you got an album in the making?
“I released my latest artist album ‘All Stand Together’ last year, so I’m not working on a full-length at the moment. I’m always in the studio working on new music, collaborations, and edits though. I’m always working to strengthen my songwriting skills and to push my production into new directions. I want to keep moving forward and that is super important to me. I will, of course, be bringing some new music to my sets at Tomorrowland – this is always the best place to roll out the big guns. So I hope to see you all in the fields!”
What will you be doing at Tomorrowland besides playing your set? What are you looking forward to?
“I love having no plans when I can, so you’ll probably see me wandering around the festival, just enjoying being wherever I am. Otherwise, you’ll find me at my stage, Lost Frequencies & Friends, which I’m hosting both weekends.”
Have you had a look at the line-up yet? Which artists do you recommend seeing and why? What makes them so special?
“Netsky is a great friend of mine and he always brings the bass and the power to his sets, all
flavoured with a lot of fun. I’m very excited to catch him! Otherwise, I’m very curious for Keinemusic on the Mainstage and thrilled for my best friend BODS’s debut. He will be playing on my stage during the second weekend.”
Does playing in front of huge crowds, like the ones at Tomorrowland, ever bring back memories of when you first started going to clubs and festivals yourself? Can you tell us something about these memories?
“I went to a few festivals when I was younger, from dance festivals to cross-over festivals, as I enjoyed discovering new styles of music. The view of the crowd doesn’t really trigger those memories as it’s a very different perspective now. How I would enjoy a festival today is very different from how I did it back in the day. I still remember camping with my friends on festival fields; it was an amazing time. Being surrounded by music lovers and discovering new worlds was incredibly impressive for me!”

DAYBREAK SESSIONS
ONE WORLD RADIO SOUNDSYSTEM
MAINSTAGE | 12:00
With the arrival of One World Radio on the airwaves, listening to the radio has suddenly become a hell of a lot more interesting. Radio is no longer that crackling dusty thing your grandparents used to listen to. Rather, it has become your one-stop destination to find out all about the classics and new arrivals in an otherwise hard to navigate jungle of EDM sounds. If you are an avid listener to the station, we have great news for you, as three of its most iconic DJs will be hosting what is set to be a glorious Daybreak Session this Sunday.
Far removed from the demands of the dancefloor, radio shows are perfect for testing out new sounds as well as for playing the less obvious yet muchloved classic sounds that don’t quite tick the peaktime boxes at the festivals anymore. The best things in life are co-created, and so One World Radio presenters Adam K, Justin Wilkes, Ben Malone will join forces to translate that incredible radio feeling, where there’s always a new discovery lurking just around the corner, to a Mainstage vibe. The three have set their minds on playing tunes that will continue to resonate with you, even when this afternoon has began to turn into a vivid memory. On a final note, great radio shows come with great guests, so… make sure to keep a close eye on who appears on stage as you start rocking to the rhythm of that groovy beat.

MATTN
Anouk Matton, better known under her stage name MATTN, once described her own style of DJ’ing as “a celebration of life,” and indeed, it’s always sunny when MATTN is at the controls. With that in mind, this premier selector of feel-good sounds shared her secrets with us ahead of the festival. Read on to learn all about how she selects her vibey house tracks, EDM bangers, and pop reworks before heading over to the booth – and don’t miss the latest on her new releases and the DJ lifestyle!
Your latest banger ‘Wannabe’ contains elements of a Spice Girls song. How did the idea for the tune come about and how did the process of creation unfold?
“The idea for ‘Wannabe’ came from my love for the Spice Girls growing up in the ‘90s. Their music was a huge part of my childhood and I wanted to create something that pays homage to that iconic era while adding my own modern twist. I started by sampling a recognizable hook from the original song, then built around it with fresh beats and electronic elements to give it a contemporary dance vibe.
“Balancing touring with being a mom is tough, but the joy and fulfilment I get make it all worth it.”
The process of creation was a blend of nostalgia and innovation. I spent hours experimenting with different sounds and rhythms, making sure to retain the energetic spirit of the original track. Collaborating with some talented producers such as Rush Avenue and Chiptune also added new dimensions to the track. It was a fun and creative journey and I’m excited to share a piece of my musical past with today’s audience.”
What are your favourite things about the DJ/ artist lifestyle and which parts of it are tougher to deal with?
“One of my favourite things is the incredible
energy and connection I feel with the crowd during a performance. There’s nothing quite like seeing people dance and lose themselves in the music you’re creating. Travelling around the world and experiencing different cultures is also amazing. It inspires my music and gives me a broader perspective. However, there are elements that are challenging. Being away from my family, especially my kids, is tough. Balancing the demands of touring with being a mom requires a lot of planning and support. The constant travel can also be exhausting, and it’s sometimes hard to find a routine or take care of myself properly on the road. But at the end of the day, the joy and fulfilment I get from my music make it all worth it.”
How do you prepare for a set at Tomorrowland –is there a certain balance between the tracks you play? Does it need to contain a certain amount of your own productions?
“Preparing for a set at Tomorrowland is a thrilling process. I start by researching the latest trends and tracks that are resonating with audiences globally, as well as revisiting some timeless hits. It’s crucial to strike a balance between crowd-pleasers and my own productions. I typically aim to include a mix of about 70% popular tracks that I know will get the crowd moving, with the remaining 30% being my own productions and remixes. This balance allows me to maintain the energy while showcasing my unique sound and creativity. Additionally, I spend a lot of time on track selection and transitions to ensure a seamless flow throughout my set. I also
prepare some special edits or mashups exclusively for Tomorrowland to make my performance unique and memorable. The goal is always to create an unforgettable experience that keeps the crowd engaged from start to finish.”
What has been a recent project you’ve been excited about and what have you got in store for us in the near future?
“A recent project I’ve been incredibly excited about is an upcoming track that will be released at the end of the year: ‘Fade Out’. It’s a significant step for me as I not only produced it but also sang on it and wrote the lyrics. This track is deeply personal, and I’m thrilled to share a more intimate side of my music with my fans.”
Does playing in front of huge crowds, like the ones here at Tomorrowland, ever bring back memories of when you first started going to clubs and festivals yourself? Can you tell us something about these memories?
“Absolutely! Playing in front of huge crowds at Tomorrowland brings back plenty of memories of my own days in the crowd. I vividly remember the excitement I felt as a fan, waiting for my favourite DJs to take the stage and experiencing the electrifying energy of the people around me. One of my fondest memories is the first time I went to Tomorrowland. I was in awe of the entire setup –the massive stages, the lights and the feeling of unity among the festivalgoers. It was at that moment that I realized I wanted to be up there, creating those magical moments for others.”
SILVYRA • THE REALM OF LUSH NATURE
Over the next few days, you are about to step into the world of LIFE. A story set in the mythical realm of Silvyra, fuelled by the ancient force of the cosmos, this will no doubt represent another mind-bending chapter in the greater story of Tomorrowland. But how did Silvyra come to be? This is the story behind the story, a peek behind the curtain where the magic is made.
THE WORLD OF SILVYRA
Silvyra is a world unto its own, filled with creatures, plant life, and people living in harmony, each with their own stories. Discover the diversity of Silvyran nature represented in the Mainstage.
Petrians
Creatures who guard the Hidden Vale. They are living stone, and incredibly strong. Their remains can be found in the forest like statues overgrown with moss, returning to the earth. They are highly intelligent and sensitive, creating beautiful rock art on the walls of the deep caverns they inhabit. They are an open and caring race.
The Mycelium
The mycelium is the balancing force in the realm of Silvyra. Taking the form of a network of mushrooms and underground fungi, it is able to travel and communicate with living beings all over the realm.
Aedela is a peaceful, prosperous city dedicated to the cultivation of flowers of every kind. Its architecture mirrors the natural world around them and is very colourful. It is set on the shores of a lake and uses the water for a complex irrigation system.
Aedela
2016
The return of a familiar tale
For this year’s theme Tomorrowland returns to the realm of ‘The Elixir of Life’ (2016) to explore the origin of this famous potion that heals all ailments of the mind and body. In 2016, the story of the Great Tree and the Maze was told, but now we move back in time to an era long before the Elixir. Step into a realm of lush nature and let your senses guide you.
The Seed of Life is the guiding philosophy of the people of the Great Tree. It is a holistic theory of nature and science, of oneness and balance. It is often represented as a flower comprised of eight circles with six central petals, representing values central to the Silvyran way of life.
GRAPHICS
“A creative process inspired by nature”
From the logotype to the typeface and graphic shapes, all elements for this theme were inspired by the intricate patterns, textures, and forms found in nature, merging organic beauty with practicality.
Translating these natural forms into a design involves a process that maintains the essence of nature while also telling our story. The result is a harmonious blend of the natural world’s elegance, and the fantastical elements of Silvyra.
