Wot? No Fish!!
“So warm-hearted it makes you melt... one of the most touching [shows] I’ve seen all year.” Lyn Gardner, The Guardian
Written and Performed by: Danny Braverman. Directed by: Nick Philippou. breadandcircuses.uk.com Premiering to critical acclaim at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, bread&circuses’ new one-man show takes audiences on a captivating journey spanning decades. In 1926 shoemaker Ab Solomons drew on the wage-packet he gave to his wife Celie. Throughout their marriage, right up until the early eighties, Ab had drawn a wage-packet cartoon every week for her. These cartoons, with blistering honesty, through all their ups and downs, chronicled Solomons’ family life. Danny Braverman’s solo show tells the funny and moving story of how he discovered the lost art of his Great-uncle. Wot? No Fish!! is an extraordinary story about love and art, history… and catering. “…reflecting in the end on the way we turn to the past to make sense of the present,” The Times. 20-21 Feb | 7:30pm | Advance: £12.00 [£10.00] / OTD: £13 [£11]

What would happen if the law of gravity was to suddenly change?
LEO
Watch the VIDEO online >>
“Highly likely to have you on your feet by the end…
mind-bending, illusionistic and spellbinding,” The Edinburgh Reporter
“An eye-teasing, grin-inducing, deeply impressive work,” Time Out NewYork. LEO is a solo physical theatre piece that challenges our sense of gravity and reality through the clever interplay of superlative acrobatic performance and high tech video projection. Universally appealing to adults and children alike, this is the funny, intriguing and moving journey of a seemingly ordinary man whose world becomes physically unhinged. From the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to New York, Moscow and Hong Kong, the multi-award winning show LEO is a one man, one-of-a-kind physical theatre piece that defies theatrical convention as brilliantly as it does the law of gravity. Jaws will drop as LEO takes “off the wall” to a whole new level.
AWARDS: Best Of Edinburgh, Threeweeks Editors’, Scotsman Fringe First, Adelaide Critic’s Circle, John Chattaway Innovation “There’s a playfulness to the delivery and a warmth to the narrative that makes it a fantastic festival outing for families.
