The pages have been torn off my calendar .... 2011 is a wrap! It’s over and to be honest with you, I’m ok with that. It wasn’t exactly a great year as the economy sucked, the motorcycle industry was down and Mother Nature was extremely mean with tornadoes, major snowfalls, earthquakes and hurricanes hitting the country. I don’t know if 2012 will be a hell of a lot better but I’m ready to put 2011 in my rear view mirror and move forward! On the other side of the coin, the month of December is a great time of the year .... especially if you are a motorcyclist. We have some type of Toy Run or charity event happening every weekend and it’s when we prove to the world that nobody has a bigger heart than a biker! I would like to personally invite you to attend the Fran Haasch / Full Throttle Christmas Toy Run that starts at Tampa Harley-Davidson and goes to St.Joesph’s Hospital. This is an unique run because you actually get to talk to the children and their parents. The hospital treats us great and I look forward to this event every year. It happens on Saturday December 10 with kickstands up at noon (see ad inside this issue). Of course you can find Full Throttle at the Suncoast Brotherhood’s Toy Run that happens on Sunday December 18. The run starts at the KMart on the corner of US Highway 19 and Main Street in Dunedin and always has a huge turnout! We will also be at Jim’s Toy Run (12/4) and in the City of Dunedin’s Holiday Parade that takes place a 4:00pm on Saturday December 10th. Have a fantastic Christmas and a safe New Year’s Eve. Thank you for reading Full Throttle and I hope we can continue to be your source of motorcycle news and events for many years to come! Happy Holidays !!!!

Well, here we are! December in Florida! Great riding weather and we get to put on our leathers and heavy clothes for a few days! I love Florida! The only thing we need to do as riders in this great state is be extra careful for all the blue hairs and SNOWBIRDS who are now here for at least the next 4 to 5 months. Please give yourself extra space between the cars and keep your head on a swivel! They are all out to get us when we are riding our motorcycles, at least that’s they way I treat them! So be defensive when riding when you have to be and on the offense to get out of a bad situation! Ride safe and ride smart! Have you seen our new LIVE INTERNET BIKER TV SHOW – Full ThrottleVision? It’s a lot of fun and we are getting a good amount of viewers each week. You can find us every Thursday night from 7pm-8pm on our website www.FloridaFullThrottle.com. We always have great interviews with people in the motorcycle community and there always seems to be a beautiful woman on the show. If you are looking for a new way to advertise your business we have what you are looking for! $200 for a :30 commercial and it will run for 2 MONTHS (8 weeks)! We will also come out and produce the spot, shoot it and upload it to you tube so you can share it on your website, Facebook page or use it for advertising! If you are interested, please call us at 813-814-1424 or e-mail me at tonyc@floridafullthrottle.com The Florida Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational is looking like it is going to be one heck of a weekend! Friday night we will be giving you a show you won’t forget with Bobby Friss. Saturday is action packed with the Bike Builder Tent, bands all day long, $100 CASH give-a-way every hour, the Miss Full Throttle Contest, a FREE FIREWORKS DISPLAY brought to you by Bikers Safe House, and to top it all off with the Greg Billings Band on the Jagermiester Stage! Sunday will be headlined by the Dive Bar Stalkers, our huge ride-in bike show and the announcement of the winner of the $5000 Bike Builder Invitational Winner! There is also more on the way with announcements that you won’t even believe if they come through. Keep reading Full Throttle and checking out our Facebook fan page for all the new info on the Expo. We still have a few sponsorships available if you are interested in getting involved this year. Last year we had an estimated 20,000 in attendance over the weekend and we are looking to be bigger and better this year! If you haven’t seen the Full Throttle Flamed pick up around lately, there is a reason for that. I traded in the Silverado for a new Ford F-150 that was purchased at Walker Ford. They did a great job and I would personally like to thank Tracy Affrunti, Frank Walker and the entire staff at Walker Ford for taking amazing care of me. You will see the new wrapped truck around very soon! I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am looking forward to 2012 and all the new possibilities a new year brings! Be safe and ride smart!

Suncoast Brotherhood Annual Toy Run Starting in 1980 when we were the Northern Pinellas County Chapter of ABATE of Florida. We started the 1st Annual Toy Run for the “Pinellas County Foster Parents Assoc.” In the late 1980’s several of us left that ABATE organization. Then in 1989 the late Dave McFaden (Noodles) and myself came up with the idea of starting a new ABATE branch called Suncoast Chapter of ABATE of Florida. The new Pinellas chapter eventually disbanded, but, we at Suncoast kept the same Toy Run going. In the late 1990’s we had a major issue with the State of Florida ABATE. So we succeeded from them and started our own MRO called Suncoast Brotherhood BRG. (Biker Rights Group). We are still doing the same Toy Run for Pinellas County Foster & Adoptive Parents Assoc. (new name) “SEE YOU THERE” “Just Jeff” Carpinski co-founder of both Suncoast Brotherhood MRO’s and past President for 15 years and now Historian “STILL COMMITTED”

Greetings brother and sister bikers. Hope everyone had a safe Thanksgiving. November was packed with great events just about every weekend. The month got started with the Veterans Memorial Ride at Biff Burgers in St. Petersburg. What a great day. The parking lot was full of bikes and the escorted ride was terrific. The ride went up 49th Ave to Park then over to Seminole then to the V.A. Hospital so we could thank our Veterans for all they have done for our country. We then rode back to Biff,s for a great evening. Thanks to all the bikers that rode in the ride and big

Classic Bike Ramblings A CHRISTMAS STORY...... Well my 91 loyal readers life seems to catch up with us all, even me sometimes. Put my boat Desperado in the repair yard on November first, and if you think restoring or freshening up a vintage car or motorcycle is a job try a 40 year old 53 foot Motor Yacht. But we have been together 26 years and like a good old bike and "Best friends" we have become very loyal to each other and as she passes the four decades old mark, shes getting a well deserved three month overhaul. Everyone says "Why don't you get a new boat?" but we have had epic times together, both good and bad and we have a history and as I turn 50 I have come to learn you don't "Just get rid of " your truly loyal friends. So time was short and I have you my loyal friends to write for, to give you amazing and obscure stories linked together with wit and observations . But then it happened my computers turned on me , no loyalty from these machines my friends.............." Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it". Finally got them going a couple weeks into the month. Time to research and write, right? But thats when a series of events coupled with ten hour days at the boatyard brought me my first "writers block" ever, all the great ones have it once and a while I've been told. It was a Wed. at Biff Burgers bike night , and their was a horrible crash and as it turned out it was a friend Randy Craig who works on my computers in Gulfport, I had seen him only a month ago. Didn't look good at all, but I'm happy to say as of this writing it looks promising. As I reflected on this,a person I knew and interacted with being hurt badly I was told of the death Loren Westenberger or "Berger" to most saw him that same night which would be two days before he would pass. We talked about old bikes and how "Bo" his dog was mad at him because he didn't take his old sidecar bike that night. We talked about his "Favorite" cool fringe jacket he had on. And we planned a meeting for that following week to look at an old war bike I was going to buy from him and to talk about trees. He said to me "See ya at the farm next week brother". There was no next week for us.................." Dont be reckless with other peoples hearts, dont put up with people who are reckless with yours". No my loyal 84 readers this is not a sad "In memoriam" article or one to preach about anything , it is simply an article with a bit of a Christmas message, to say, you never know what the next month, the next day or for that matter next minutes will bring. And its this season especially that we need to remember what makes life good and thats our friends, family, relationships and interactions we have with them. Cell phones, laptops

and e-mails are great but you can't beat love, loyality and face to face interpersonal relations my pals. It would be at the recent Ybor Bike Fest and a group of us were all winding Werner & Mr. 500 down at a bar on 7th Ave. Radical Randy, Wendy Bob and their group would walk in and a great guy Jon Jon Wright who I've known for years would be with them. A few drinks some girls dancing on the bar, but it was getting real late so I left, shook Jon Jon's hand and spoke of goin to Daytona next year. Little did I know thirty minutes later he would be gone.................."Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold onto". You see we don't know when it's the end of a long friendship, and not just the permanent kind, it can be when someone dear or a riding buddy ups and moves away, becomes ill or just gets too busy with life and trust me that happens more and more in our complicated world and strained economy. So in my Christmas Story here I'm saying value your relationships even if they are only weekly friends in a parking lot. Call that brother or sister or your parents if you are lucky enough to still have them. Make a few new friends, I of all people know how hard that is to do these days. But I've done it and new ones are out there if you gave them a chance. And "Bury the hatchet" with others, you will miss them when they are gone or out of your friendship circle. No, not all rifts can or for that matter should be settled some are un-reconcilable but some with effort can and should be fixed, life is short....................... " Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need people who knew you when you were young". Motor cycling was originally a brotherhood that knew no social, economic or age and sex boundaries and it still is on many levels but "drama" and politics are creeping in. Lets keep that original idea alive, lets not let it get segregated or "clickish" by bike style, personalities or B.S. and drama. I hope you will be reading two of my very early Full Throttle articles on the next pages, both were favorites of Lorens and of mine. Well my friends it was an overcast day when I left "Bergers" celebration of life, I was going to go over to his farm with the group, but it was such a nice service and a nice day to ride and I had Jon Jons to go to later. So as I got on my 40 year old Moto Guzzi I thought what would my lost friends do? So I rode over to Fort Harrison-Indian Rocks Road and headed South, and you know what my loyal readers? I have never seen so many amazing trees or felt so alive. Robert "Brother" De Moss

R.I.P. JON-JON Wright The entire Full Throttle family would like to send our thoughts and prayers out to the friends, family and loved ones of Jon Jon Wright. He was well known at all bike nights, events and rallys and a part of the "Radical" team from way back. He will be missed by so many, and for so many different reasons. Our motorcycling community has lost a true ambassador of our lifestyle, our attitude and our love of the sport. His services were attended by hundreds of his friends and family who all know that jon jon will never be replaced, he was truly one of a kind. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and here is a few of our favorites to celebrate his life.

Classic Bike Ramblings FOKKER TRI-PLANES......F-16'S AND FATHER TIME

I always like the ride over to the Plant City Bike fest Now I am having to give the first Saturday of the month, great destination, good food Dutch it's all just to stay in the hunt Fran Haasch & Mr. 500 and drink. Radical Randy always has a good show. With my and driving the sidecar rig to it's top stable of bikes, it's always a struggle as to which one gets limits (those of you who have driven the call to duty. It truly comes down to what part of history sidecars know what I mean, they become possessed). Speed I want to be in for that ride. Which takes us to the flight over shifting, gears burning and the smell of heat and clutch. for this particular battle......I mean ride. Dutch and I put on a valiant attempt at holding some pattern I chose to take my Fokker Tri-plane which looks a lot in the jet squadron we are riding in, but i knew I had to break like a 1975 BMW R90/6 sidecar motorbike. It's worth giving off from this squadron for the Black Falcon and Dutch were you a bit of history that gives me this mindset for this bike. not of this future. It was with much respect and admiration This bike is named "Dutch" (all my bikes are named but that from both me and my jet friends that I needed to regroup. is for another article). A 1968 BSA Lightning, 1957 xlch Harley praised the BMW engines that powered the legendary and a 1982 Yamaha xs 400 Special. Then I told them of my Fokker Tri-plane of 1917 to 1919. In 1919 an airplane meeting with my former squadron, these super machines of with a BMW engine set the world altitude record and the future. They told me it sounded like an episode out of the later BMW powered Dornier flying boats travelled the "Twilight Zone". But they too had seen such wondrous maworld. A short time to gain speed and climb over half hour later the skies cleared and we, the bridge an onto the battle in Plant now named the "lost squadron of 1945", City (the bike show). Which brings me mounted up, water pouring off the bikes to the petrol stop. I pulled into the like a waterfall. Well, after noticed the pilot of the "super machine" taking on petrol and about 15 minutes was sitting there, dead in the water, so of telling my new found squadron of to speak. We asked the good captain if the epic battles Dutch has won, we are we could be of service, but he just spoke off to Plant City. of having to forget to put the bike cover Which brings me to phase on and it would dry out soon. We tried two of our fable. Whenever I ride to cover our glee and not give high fives Dutch or my other old classics, I have all the way around. As we pulled away come to find out that these bike watching that supreme piece of modern should be riddenalone or only with technology, sitting in a puddle, it was their own kind. (We did see the super machine of machinery, speed, handling, power Loren Westenberger later in Plant City). We rode like kind of and amazing lines. birds of a feather to the Plant City Bike Which brings me back to the squadFest. Once at the air space of my battle, ron moving towards Plant City. It was an interesting lineup. If my Brit and American comrades broke right for parking in I am in front, it looks like my old Fokker is being chased by a the nuetral zone. As I moved forward to enemy lines, the batgroup of F-16's trying to set a missile lock. If I am in the back tle was closed, I was too late tom enter the action, even far it looks like father time himself chasing the future. Either way, away battles have rules of engagement. As I landed in front I find in this mismatched squadron that the old technology of a small bar near where the battle raged, a busty fraulein that I love and admire is so very over matched by the here serving ale said, "Hey, I always wanted to ride in a sidecar". and now. Guess Dutch and I didn't miss the battle or the trophy.

I bought my self one of those fancy motor 250cc motor scooters called a Honda Reflex. I am really impressed with it, the great gas mileage and I brought it up to 80mph with my 220 pounds on it. It is a two tone red - a really sharp step thru scooter. The reason I wanted it was that the HOG was too heavy to back out of a parking space at the grocery store. I can get eggs and milk with this one and not break them with the little trunk in the back. When you see it coming down the street it has the dual headlights in the front you would think it is a crotch rocket coming at you. I noticed that people do not wave at me like when I am riding my big dresser. My friend Georgia Boy stopped over the other day with his sportster so him and I took off down to the coffee shop and as we left out of here turned left and went around the corner I got out in front when we got to the coffee shop he told me that thing moves pretty fast and had to goose it to keep up. On the way down there bikes coming at us would wave but when I riding by myself no one seems to wave at me. I have put quite a few

Sometimes the fastest way to get there is to stop for the night.

miles on it riding around. When I ride the dresser almost everyone waves at me at everyone waves back till my left arm gets absolutely tired taking it off the handlebars waving. I have thought about buying a mannequin and cutting the left arm off and picking up an old leather jacket and cutting the sleeve off it. That way it would always be waving and I wouldnt have to take my hands off the handlebars all the time. But now I realize people arent waving at me, they are waving at the bike. So now I decided not to ruin a mannequin and a jacket - when I ride my Honda Reflex nobody waves so dont expect me to be waving back on my dresser cos I know you are just waving at the bike. I feel alot safer with my hand on the wheel anyhow. Everybody wants the bike business more and more places are going after it. If you want the business, you need to put an ad in Full Throttle letting people know that you want it - a sign in the window doesnt help much. The other thing that helps bringing business is the good looking ladies - we all know that! I have been really sick with a cold so that is all for now. See you soon Cindy the dog walker.

BEFoRE iT STARTS A biker came home from the road, sat down in his favorite chair, turned on the TV, and said to his wife, “Quick, bring me a beer before it starts.”

A driver is stuck in a traffic jam on the highway. Nothing is moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on the window. The driver rolls down the window and asks, “What’s going on?” “Terrorists have kidnapped Congress, This time she looked a little pissed, but and are asking for a $10 million dollar brought him a beer. On entering they must present something “Christmassy”. The first man searches his pocket, and finds some Mistletoe, so he is allowed in. The second man presents a cracker, so he is also allowed in. The third man pulls out a pair of panties. Confused at this last gesture, St. Peter asks, “How do these represent Christmas?” The third man answered “They’re Carol’s.”

The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help. He called her into his office and said, “Y’all graduated from the University of Georgia and I need some help. If I wuz to give you $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?” The secretary thought a moment, and then with a big grin she replied, “Everthang but my earrings.”

After a trip to the bathroom, he made his way downstairs, where his wife put some coffee in front of him. “Louise,” he moaned, “tell me what happened last night. Was it as bad as I think?” “Even worse,” she said, her voice oozing scorn. “You made a complete ass of yourself. You succeeded in antagonizing the entire board of directors and you insulted the president of the company, right to his face.” “He’s an asshole,” John said. “Piss on him.” “You did,” came the reply. “And he fired ToP FiVE CHRiSTMAS SoNGS FoR you. ” THE PSyCHiATRiCAlly CHAllENGED: “Well, screw him!” said John. Black Eyed peas News is the Black Eyed Peas are not broke up, they are only on vacation from each other! The band performed together last month in Miami and they are saying this is a scheduled break. The group has numerous individual projects and this is when they do those things. Fergie has been a hostess for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve show the past few years .... Will.i.am has a new single on the charts and he performed the song at the American Music Awards with J-Lo .... Apl.de.ap is an Ambassador For Education in the Philippines and the group as a whole released a new dance video that is available on Wii and XBox360 Kinect systems.

J. Lo....she’s a beauty Last year Jennifer Lopez was voted the most beautiful woman in the world. She celebrated by divorcing Mark Anthony and today the 42-year old J-Lo is prancing around with 24-year old backup dancer named Casper Smart. That’s proof that this guy lives up to his last name!!!!

Bieber fever Justin Bieber is the latest star that has to prove he didn’t knock up a groupie! Bieber actually sent a DNA sample to authorities to prove that he didn’t have “hanky-panky” with a San Diego woman after a concert. Bieber’s lawyers say they are positive Justin didn’t “do the nasty” and they hope this DNA sample will put a stop to all the trash talk.

It Pays To Pray Here’s a church I want to attend! Reverand Christopher Baldwin of the Vine Wesleyan Church in Depew, NY handed out envelopes to all church goers last month over the age of 18. Inside each envelope was a $100 bill! The Reverand quoted the Bible and said, “It’s more blessed to give than receive” …. Amen !!!

fix a flat.....butt This is almost too hard to believe! It happened in Miami, FL and I can’t believe this is fact and not fiction! Oneal Ron Morris was born a man but identifies as a woman and that’s not the only thing he/she lies about! Morris was arrested for practicing medicine without a license because he received $700 from a woman who wanted a butt enlargement! Morris injected the stupidest female in the world (in my opinion) with a mixture of cement, super-glue and flat tire sealant to make her butt bigger! The lady was of course hospitalized and needed multiple surgeries to remove the toxic chemicals Morris injected .... wow !!!!!

we just can’t handler This is kinda crazy but Chelsea Handler (who hosts her own talk show weekday nights on the E! Channel) is also working on a NBC series based after her book named “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea”. The funny thing about the series is that Laura Prepon (from That 70’s Show) plays the part of Chelsea. Handler appears as a supporting role playing her own sister! Now that’s just crazy!

more blood and gore If you are a fan of Showtime’s Dexter series, you will be happy to know the cable network gave the serial-killer show a two year extension! Each season will include 12 episodes and they will mark season seven and eight for the bloody series

Merry Christmas Here’s a sign of the times – the Salvation Army will be able to accept donations by swiping credit cards this year! If you don’t have any spare change, you can give them your credit card and they will process any amount you choose. In another Salvation Army story, a bell ringer was fired because he berated a shopper for not putting money into his kettle. This note of cheer happened in St.Paul, Minnesota
