FULL THROTTLE MULTI-MEDIA – That is the new name of Full Throttle Magazine. FTMM – We are going to be focusing on consistently bringing you the best Florida Motorcycle Magazine in the state as we have for the past 23 years. But you will start to see more content added to our social media pages and to our website. We will be bringing you content for events, rides, poker runs and bike nights as well as interviews from shops, tattoo parlors, restaurants, and everything in between. Besides all the great motorcycle stuff we do, you will also be seeing a sports show on Thursdays with Paul Allen (my Dad) and Charlie Humphries. We are in discussion with a Fishing league to host a fishing show about what is biting and where and how to catch the big fish. I am also looking for a jeep enthusiast who would like to discuss jeeping and all the modifications you can do to your jeep and great trails around the state to ride. Full Throttle Multi-Media will be bringing you content from across the State and beyond. This month we will also be going to Sturgis and live streaming from there as much as we can including the great rides to Mount Rushmore, Downtown Sturgis and maybe even Wall Drugs! We want our pages (youtube, facebook, Instagram, twitter, snapchat) to be where you go to get all the best info on what is going on and some great videos to watch and keep you entertained! We had a trip planned to Sturgis and had a few phone calls about it but with COVID-19 and all the issues surrounding that, we decided that this was not the year to make that trip happen. So, we will be heading out to Sturgis to ride some great roads and host one hell of a bike show and bagger blast-off on

Wed August 12th at the Buffalo Chip! This should be fun as Charlie and Georgia Boy are leaving out towards Sturgis Early and now my friend Jeremy Jurski, from Ohio, is going with Full Throttle to help with the Bike Show and driving. I am extremely excited about going as I am almost every year! The riding is South Dakota is amazing, hands down some of the best roads I have ever ridden in my life! The 5 Bridge Poker Run was huge!!!! We expected around 100 – 125 on the ride but that number was blown out of the water by almost the start time of registration. We had just about 200 hands sold on the poker run and it was easily one of the best turnouts we have ever had for the annual 5 bridge poker run. I was even able to ride on it this year and we never even got wet! We did wait out a rainstorm at the end stop in Ellington, but once that passed, we rode home bone dry! An incredibly special THANK YOU to everyone who joined in on the ride and made all 5, or at least 4 of the major bridges. FULL THROTTLE and the biker community came through again as well for the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. At press time we are the #1 charity fund raiser for the hospital this year with just under $6,000 collected!!! Special thank you to everyone who donated or gave their time or did anything to help make this happen. Special thanks to Amy and Greg Howard and Valerie from Rifer Now Magazine as they made great donations to the Children’s Hospital. Our original goal was around $3,000 and we came awfully close to doubling that amount! The Two hour telethon was exhausting and a little chaotic at first, but singing Christmas carols, and building ginger bread houses and the reading of ‘Twas the night before Christmas was what was needed to put this fund raiser over the top! Happy Birthday to Everyone with a birthday in August, be safe, be smart, don’t drink and ride, wear your masks, don’t lick any random door handles and I will see you out and about with a video camera. REMEMBER TO SCREAM – FULL THROTTLE ROCKS!!!! And you might be our next movie star! FULL THROTTLE MULTI-MEDIA!!

“Roll with it baby, come on you go to you just got to roll with it baby”….That song keeps playing in my head as the world gets weirder by the day. The only normalcy in my life has been the biker brotherhood, ( and sisterhood .) And although its not so normal, its the best we've got. I have attended a few underground biker events in the last few months, one blew up into such a crowd I left and never posted the shots, another I started an online “ discussion” if you will ,with a video I did post. Don't shoot the messenger. And I have to say the one where 750 people showed up, EPIC and there has been no corona cluster thank God. So what do you do, poker runs, memorial rides that's what we do right ,ride? There is a big part of the social interaction I am missing. Recently I attended a work lunch, but it was three to a table, 7 feet apart I never saw table number 3,
14
I miss sitting around an early breakfast before a ride with twenty five of you. I miss all the hugs , the weekend adventures. Thank god for underground bike nights. Or unsanctioned however you choose to put it. And calendar contest with pretty people that was my idea and I guess if I have to I'll take care of a men's calendar too haha. I hope whatever you do this month it finds you safe and respectful of others to me that is the most important thing right now . Take care guys feel free to shoot us a message on any events we haven't covered . And please do not drink and drive or we can't be friends. Laurie Jo

Hello from Diva Angels Sioux Empire Chapter in the great state of South Dakota! We have had a fun fulfilling year in the Sioux Empire. Despite the fact that our riding season is much shorter up north we manage to pack in the help and activities in the community. In the winter, we have a Bowling party we call Bowling for milk. We support a meal provider in Sioux Falls called The Banquet that receives NO government subsidies but solely relies on private donations to feed those in need. Since The Banquet serves HUNDREDS a meal and goes through 30,000 gallons of milk a year we decided that would make a fun fundraiser, Bowling for Milk. We then volunteer to serve an evening meal and deliver the Milk Money. We were privileged to flank the Marine Corps Honor Guard in the opening ceremonies for the Emily’s Hope Poker Run in June. Angela Kennecke a news anchor from KELO tv lost her daughter to Opioid abuse and raises money to fund treatment for other victims of this tragic addiction. It was truly an honor to be asked to be up front and center. In June we also support our own Heather Hochstein in the Karens Hope memorial Run. She lost her mother to TBI complications after a motorcycle accident and chooses a worthy recipient each year to help in her mom’s memory. August brought Riverboat Days and it was the 3 rd year we participated in the parade. We had a blast and for the second time won an award! The cheers from the
ladies and big smiles and high fives from the little kids make the August heat during the parade worth every sweat bead. There is a gentleman named Joey Clark who operates Street Corner Revival. He had a dream to buy a bus to drive around and let folks warm up if they are cold, or cool down if they are hot, to offer a cup of coffee or a cold water. The Diva Angels asked him what we could do to help. He said he needed a cooler to hold cold beverages and the Diva Angels Sioux Empire stepped up. Now Joey will have a nice big cooler to provide cold drinks. Our Diva Angels take responsibilities as individuals. Kristen Hanzlik runs a nonprofit resource called Lighthouse Devotions in memory of a fellow biker who started it and passed away named Troy Farmer. Kris collects easy to carry items to help those in a bad situation. She makes little bags of things easy to carry such as travel size soap, shampoo, Kleenex, tooth brush, water, etc. At this time particularly there are many who need even just basics to get by. We of course end the year with our Christmas Party hosted by Carol Sherman this year and a few fundraising rounds of Bunco. All of us here in the Sioux Empire are sure looking forward to another year and STURGIS! WE sure hope we see you in South Dakota.
