on the coVer Fran, rhett, pierce, henry & klauS Would like to WiSh eVeryone a merry chriStmaS and happy neW year
November was a great months with tons of events that happened! We started off with a Veteran's Day bike night at Quaker Steak and Lube sponsored by Michelle Osborne where she gave away free drinks cards to veterans all night long. Then we had Fran Haasch's 7th Annual Food drive that raised over seven thousand dollars for the F.E.A.S.T. Food Panty of Palm Harbor and two trailer full of food. Then we celebrated Full Throttle's 19th anniversary and Quaker Steak and Lube's 12th anniversary on the 22nd at QS&L. The day looked gloomy in the beginning but ended up being a beautiful day! We would like to thank everyone who showed up to all of these great events. The Florida Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational is happening next month at Quaker steak and Lube January 22nd - 24th 2016. We have some amazing motorcycles coming in for the Bike Builder Invitational that have never been seen in this area! We will be giving away $20,000 in cash and prizes with a grand prize of $5,000 and a one of custom super bowl style ring est. at $5,000 for the Best in show! Besides that we have the best band line up this area has ever seen over the three day event including Undercover Betty, The Greg Billings Band, Jeff Vitolo and the Quarter Mile Rebels, Jasmine Cain, The Black Honkey's, Soul Circus Cowboys, The Bearded Brothers and Stormbringer! We also have over 100 vendors, $100 an hour give-a-way, $1,000 bikini contest, man cave give-a-way, a burlesque show and much much more!!!!! This will be the not to miss event that starts the year off right in the Tampa Bay Area. for info call 727-935-4875 or visit our website at www.FloridaFullThrottle.com December is looking great with all of the toy runs happing like they do every year! The first weekend always have Jim's Harley-Davidson big toy run and this year the Cookson Hills is also on the same day. The next largest toy run that happens is the Suncoast Brotherhood Toy Run that starts at the Kmart parking lot in Dunedin and ends up at the American Legion Post 275. We have been a part of this ride for as long as I can remember! Then Full Throttle has our Teddy Bear Toy Run that goes to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital on December 19th. Our ride starts at Tampa Harley-Davidson on Dale Mabry Highway and we go right to the hospital to drop off the toys and cash donations directly to the hospital. this is always one of my favorites to see the kids faces light up when all the bikes pull into the hospital! there are a lot of great toy runs in that area and all are to help people in need. Do your best to make as many as possible to help out the less fortunate. We would like to wish all of our readers, advertisers, friends and family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We here at Full Throttle are very much looking forward to 2016 as we have plans set forth for growth across the state of Florida into areas now that we do not get to often like South Florida, Miami, Jacksonville and North Florida. Have you ever had anything that you call a “God” thing happen? Well I did and it really opened my eyes as to how blessed most of us truly are. We get to ride our motorcycles, workout, climb mountains and live our life without wondering what it is like to be handicap, sick or need guidance. With the season of giving upon us, I wanted to share with some people that have truly touched my heart and how we should all take a minute to not only give thanks for our health and our bodies but to remember those that are not as fortunate as we are. I had a client come to me and wanted to put 50 legs on as one of their beneficiaries. Then I had a client call me and tell me he had been in a terrible boating accident and may lose his leg. The first thing I did, was look up Steve Chamberlin on his motorcycle living life to the fullest. I sent that picture to my client and told him many people have rebuilt their lives after something so horrific happened to them. Then I met Steve and Tiffany of 50 legs, they told me how many people they turn away each year because of funding to help people get appropriate limbs. They shared about all the veterans that keep us safe that have lost limbs and can’t rebuild after they have served our country. I was up all night and could not think of anything else. Then I was approached about the Shriner’s hospital, the Suncoast Charities for Children, The Florida Sherriff’s Youth Ranch (who help children find their way) all wonderful organizations. I was sent a picture of their beautiful spokesperson and all the children that are there that need our help. Imagine putting a smile on a child’s face that has to fight every day to live. Or giving a veteran the limbs they need that don’t hurt and can help them live a better life. As I was planning my winter snowmobile trip, I also thought of all those children and the people of 50 legs that would love to go on that adventure. So this year I train for that adventure with a purpose to raise awareness of those less fortunate. For the people of 50 legs, the children at Shriner’s and the kids of Suncoast charities, the kids of The Florida Youth Ranch; this trip is for you. May you be with me in my heart and share this adventure. Now when I wake up in the morning, I post on Facebook about working out because I know how blessed I am to have my health and my limbs. It drives me every day, because I know I am truly blessed. This year I want to beat my record of last year of 4’jumps and a 900’ climb to a 5’ jump with a climb of 1000 feet on a snowmobile. We will Go-pro or droid pictures for the adventure in honor of all those that can’t. THIS YEAR I HAVE PURPOSE. RAISE AWARENESS FOR THOSE THAT CAN’T. If I can put one smile on a child’s face or help one person get new limbs or give one child hope for a bright future. Any shine of hope that these organizations share, would be the greatest gift I could receive this holiday season. I am in the money business. The business that assists people in investing their money and helping to protect their principal. I have been fortunate in my career, to work with very wealthy people and the average person which has taught me that you can use options that may help you make money and still preserve your capital. But what about leaving a legacy? What about using that money to work to help others? Even if it is just making a charity the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. I have been blessed with knowledge. Knowledge that swells my eyes
with tears when I think of all those people I can help by using that knowledge. It is called charitable giving. I am so appreciative I have been fortunate enough in my 30+ year career to learn from the best and work with the best. There are so many ways to give. You don’t have to be rich, but if you are comfortable in life, think of giving back this year. I can share with you many ways to give and it can still be beneficial for you and your family. If you have capital gains issues then “GIVE” help someone else and it will help you. Examples and ways to contribute are by using charitable gift annuities, endowment programs, gifting monies from your IRA and many other wonderful tools of the money business. Through my wonderful team in the charitable planning division at Raymond James and IFS Securities we can help you give and/or leave a legacy. Many charitable contributions can possibly offset capital gains in your investments. If you are 70 and you have accumulated all the wealth you need but still have to take a minimum, gift that money to those that need it. There are so many creative ways to help other people and yourself. A lot of people want to give and help, they just don’t know how; or to who. The purpose of this article is to give you the opportunity to see how you can help during this time of year. I spent sleepless nights thinking about this gift God had blessed me with….The knowledge to help people give advantageously. Making more money is one thing……. But leaving a legacy and giving to others is where life really rewards us. Even if all you do is leave your monies to your favorite charity. Join me in giving. Join me in sharing. Join me in changing lives. Join me in the awareness campaigns of 2016. Make a difference in other’s lives. I know that is where I want to focus. It is not what you get in life: it is what you give along the way. Look for my daily post on Facebook about working out in honor of those that are not able to. Watch for winter 2016 adventure of a 5’ jump and 1000 foot climb on a snowmobile in Utah coming this winter. This year I want to beat my 4’ jump and my 900’ climb from last year….but this year I have a purpose. I will be taking all those that have touched my heart along with me…. via droid pics and go-pro. I hope it will make one child smile or one person that lost a limb, have hope. Help me bring awareness of how grateful we should all be; every day for health and a complete body. All of these charities and many more have blessed me beyond anything I could ever give them. Thank you for touching my heart in this wonderful season of giving. You gave me the best gift anyone could receive along this road that we call life. That gift is to help me remember; it is what we give others along the way, that really matters . If you are interested in an advantageous ways to help others that desperately need your help; Call me……. let’s make a difference in someone’s life today. Thanks to all those that came by and said hello at the anniversary parties. It was so wonderful to meet everyone, see old friends and new ones. The winners of the $100. Want that New Bike? Let me help you get it! • Personal Financial
Planning • Investment Strategies • Create Income • Estate Planning • Asset Protection
Hello again Michelle Osborne here. I have worked as a financial advisor over the years helping people achieve greater income to fulfill their dreams. I’ve had clients have come to me confused and lost, not knowing where their money is or what it is earning. I’ve been able to simplify their financial picture and give them more income. Most people do not realize the risks in the markets or low paying instruments such as bank CD’s. Even with savings accounts you are losing money everyday. If you’ve been using savings, investments or retirement accounts to live off or make major purchases we need to talk. I have been able to show people the use of leverage to increase their income. Most people are unaware of their options and what’s available to make their lives easier. You’ve worked too hard to earn what you have. Let me show you how to make the most of your money. Invest Safe / Ride Safe!

The Biker’s Night Before Christmas ‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the pad, There was nada happenin’, now thats pretty bad. The woodstove was hung up teacher: “Kids, what does the chicken in that stocking routine, In hopes that the Fat Boy would soon make the scene. give you?” With our stomachs packed with tacos and beer, My girl and I crashed on the couch for some cheer. When out in the yard there arose such a racket, I ran for the door and pulled on my jacket. I saw a large bro’ on a ‘56 Pan Wearin’ black leathers, a cap, and boots (cool biker, man).He hauled up the bars on that bikeful of sacks, And that Pan hit the roof like it was running on tracks. I couldn’t help gawking, the old guy had class. But I had to go in -- I was freezing my ass. Down through the stovepipe he fell with a crash, And out of the stove he came dragging his stash. With a smile and some glee he passed out the loot, A new jacket for her and some parts for my scoot. He patted her fanny and shook my right hand, Spun on his heel and up the stovepipe he ran. From up on the roof came a great deal of thunder, As that massive V-twin ripped the silence asunder. With beard in the wind, he roared off in the night, Shouting, “Have a cool Yule, and to all a good ride!” *************************************** After a talking sheepdog gets all the sheep in the pen, he reports back to the farmer: “All 40 accounted for.” “But I only have 36 sheep,” says the farmer.
Student: “Meat!”
A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: ‘’Ugh, that’s the ugliest baby I’ve ever seen!’’ The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: ‘’The driver just insulted me!’’ The man says: ‘’You go up there and tell him off . Go on, I’ll hold your monkey for you.’’ ****************************************
teacher: “Very good! Now what does the One day, a father and his daughter are topig give you?” gether. The father is putting the daughter to sleep. After the father leaves, he hears Student: “Bacon!” her saying her prayers. He hears her say, ‘’ God bless mommy, daddy, and grandma, teacher: “Great! And what does the fat rest in peace grandpa. The father hears all cow give you?” of this and barges back into the room. He asks her, ‘’ Why did you say the last part? ‘’ Student: “Homework!” The daughter replies, ‘’ Because I needed to. ‘’ The next day, grandpa dies. The father thinks, ‘’ Is this just a coincidence? ‘’ That night he tucks her daughter into bed. He leaves the room to only hear her prayers again. He hears, ‘’ Bless mommy and daddy, rest in peace grandma. ‘’ The father now is thinking, ‘’ Holy shit, my daughter can see into the future? ‘’ The next day, grandma dies. A week later nothing happens, but the night before Sunday, he is tucking his daughter into bed once more. He leaves and listens for ***************************************** any more prayers. Sure enough, there is another prayer. He hears, ‘’ Bless you mommy, rest in peace daddy. ‘’ The father starts Josh: Why was panicking and saying, ‘’ Holy shit! I’m goSanta’s little helper ing to die tomorrow! ‘’ The following start depressed? of the next day consisted the father being alert all the time, checking the clock, lookmark: Dunno. Why? ing around the room, etc. He goes to work to do the same things, being alert, all of Josh: Because he that. He looks at the clock again 3 hours had low elf esteem! later. It’s past midnight. The father says, ‘’ How is this possible? I should be dead! ‘’ He goes home and fi nds his wife on the couch with a scared look on her face. She asks, ‘’ What took you so long!? ‘’ The father says, ‘’ Listen honey, today I haven’t had the best of days. ‘’ Then as soon as he is about to tell what happened, she bursts ***************************************** out, ‘’ I saw the mailman die yesterday! ‘’
“I know,” says the sheepdog. “But I rounded them up.”

EVERYWHERE EDDY here and the Holidays are now upon us! Getting through Halloween, Thanksgiving and my Birthday on November 23rd was a blast. I did get to see many of my friends old and new on the ride to the National Cemetery at Bushnell on Veterans Day, at the Suncoast Brotherhood Pasco Christmas Party, also on the Heartstrings for Heroes Cruise and at Full Throttle Magazine’s 12th Anniversary Party which was amazing! I guess you can say November was an awesome month! Now I’m looking forward to Christmas and saying C’ya to 2015 and ringing in the New Year as I’m sure many of you are! 2016 will be here before we know it! So here’s to a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanzaa and a Happy Festivus for the rest of us! Remember Keep Those Knees to the Breeze and as always Ride Safe!

In 1970 Steve got his first motorcycle, a Yamaha Mini Enduro, and has been
fascinated with motorcycles and small engines ever since. Steve met a friend, Larry Witmer, who got him into motocross. Steve worked on Larry’s bike, learning how to port cylinders and make two stroke engines go fast. Then he was asked to build a bike for the owner of the local Honda dealer. After that he was offered a job at the Honda shop where he worked for many years, attended Honda School in Milwaukee and achieved numerous certifications. In the 1970’s and 80’s, Team Honda motocross team spent a lot of time at the Honda shop where Steve worked and he would travel to races with them, learning how to be a professional motocross mechanic. Steve then spent several years on the pro motocross circuit, serving as a mechanic for Larry Witmer. Following that, Steve opened an independent motorcycle repair shop with his friend Gary Horton (#88 flat track) where he worked on all types of 64
bikes. Fast forward to the 2000’s – Steve moved to Florida, and after working on small engines at a lawn care service as the fleet manager and as a mechanic at Iron Horse Motorcycles he opened Steve’s Cycle in 2011. One of Steve’s major focuses is on repairing issues that other shops either cannot fix or have fixed incorrectly. He prides himself on finding solutions for the toughest problems and fixing them. Never one to beat around the bush or make false promises, Steve is always upfront about his ability to find a resolution to an issue and if he can’t do it, he will tell you so. Steve goes the extra mile to meet customers during off-hours and providing emergency service when needed. Steve’s Cycle will always remain a small, hands-on shop. Steve’s focus is on personal service; he does not have a staff and does all of the work himself, thus assuring that each bike he services will receive the benefit of his knowledge and years of experience.

The weather was a little scary to start the day but it ended up being nice all day long at Quaker Steak and Lube for Full Throttle Magazine's 19th Anniversary and Quaker Steak and Lube's 12th Anniversary. We have the Dan Orlando Band and The Black Honkey's playing on the stage, we gave out 5 - $100 Jim's Harley Gift Cards and a big screen HDTV from Attorney Fran Haasch. The biker games were fun with the slow race and the always popular weenie bite contest! We would like to thank everyone who showed up and all of our readers and advertisers over the years for helping us get to 19 years here at Full Throttle. We are looking forward to the next 19+ years being part of this amazing motorcycle community!

This is my first article with Full Throttle Magazine. I want to express how honored I am that Tony, Donnell and the gang chose me to represent this area. I’ll be exploring NE Florida, particularly the Palm Coast, St Augustine and Jacksonville areas, and bringing you the best of the best this area has to offer the biking community. Everything from bike shops and dealers, to biker friendly taverns and more. And yes, events! Attention Business Owners: If you have an event you want me to promote or review, contact me at the info below. If you want to put on an event or show but not sure where to start, let me know. The gang at Full Throttle can handle everything from catering to entertainment. So let’s get on to the reviews… Ray's Collision Services I ride when I can but once in a while you need a cage. Mine is a 1989 1 Ton dually witho only 70K on her (you can see I ride most of the time). Well at the bank last month, a sweet old lady hit my prized munequita. OK, she was a bitch, but I digress… I took it to Ray's collision on Wildwood. Being a four color custom paint job I was worried it wouldn't match up... Wow! Like it never even happened! Beau and his crew are really dedicated to their work and can do bike work too.

A ranking from the popular website Trip Advisor named the restaurant the second-best pizzeria in the nation. Pizza Time in historic downtown St. Augustine serves great New York style pizza! This Italian restaurant creates pizza with fresh ingredients and a true New York style crust. This has become one of my favorites and the only place I’ve found really good crisp crust south of Manhattan! Visit Vinnie and his crew for lunch or dinner. You gonna like it!

Boomstick Motorbikes So I’m cruising home and my throttle control box just fell apart. Seems the set screw vibrated out. Harley’s are like that. The next morning I went to see Pat (the owner) and the gang at Boomstick. They got me right in and Robbie Bobbie entertained me with stories while Pat worked on my ride. They had me ready in no time and the throttle is smoother than it ever was. These guys know bikes with over 100 years of combined experience in the service department. But more importantly, they know how to run a customer oriented business. Rare indeed these days.
That’s it for this month. If you’d like to have my stop by and review your business, jest give me a shout. CJ Bronstrup is the rep for this magazine for NE Florida and can be contacted by phone or text @ (305) 735-1008 or by email at CJ@CJBronstrup.com If you’re interested in advertising here, or just know of a noteworthy event, let me know. If you would like to have Full Throttle magazine available to customers at your place of business just give me a call. Let’s get this area rolling again!

The 7th Annual Fran Haasch Food Drive was a huge success. All donations will go directly to F.E.A.S.T. Food Pantry of Palm Harbor and go directly to benefit the needy in our local community. Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist came by to lend his support to this worthy cause. Fran and her staff and family would like to thank everyone who helped make this event a success and thank everyone who donated food and took the time to make it happen. The Fran Haasch law firm are unbelievable and so giving to this community. What a great turn out and event, and they do these types of things all year round. This year they had to use two trailers in order to accommodate all the food donations dropped off by our local community and also raised over seven thousand dollars in gift card and checks. We are already looking forward to next year's food drive! Gamo Robles
