Hello and welcome to 2013!!! I’m looking forward to the New Year and I’m glad we made it through 2012. This is the biggest month of the year for Full Throttle as we host the annual Bike Builder Invitational and Expo at Quaker Steak & Lube on January 25-27. This year (with Walker Ford and Ford Power Stroke Diesel) we are bringing in the "Blues Brothers" direct from Universal Studios in Orlando. These guys put on a great show and you won’t want to miss them! Of course we will overflow the QS&L parking lot with vendors and the "big tent" will house the best motorcycles in the SE United States fighting for $7,500.00 in prize money. Our band lineup is spectacular with Greg Billings heading Friday night, the debut of Jeff Vitolo & the Quarter Mile Rebels and the Black Honkeys playing before The Blues Brothers on Saturday. Sunday features the Soul Circus Cowboys ... See you at the Expo! I was shocked to here what happened last month in Connecticut. How can a human being shoot and kill young children? What has to go wrong in a person’s brain to even think about doing something like that? Wasn’t it bad enough for Adam Lanza to kill his mother .... he had to kill innocent children as well? I am a strong proponent of having the right to own a gun. I feel it is a right that every American has and I own multiple guns myself. That said, I do not think a citizen needs to own a AK-47 or Bushmaster assault rifle. There’s a big difference in a handgun used for individual protection, a hunting rifle/shot gun and a semi-automatic assault rifle. In my opinion there is not a need for any individual citizen to own a weapon of war. Let’s hope that 2013 brings good health, a better economy and nothing like the tragedy that happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Let’s all have an optimistic outlook and do our best to make 2013 the best year ever! Happy New Year from Full Throttle magazine!

There has been a lot of hard work put into our Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational over the past few months and we are finally here. This is our BIGGEST event of the year that we are part of and host. We are looking at a huge crowd this year with great entertainment and amazing vendors. There will be over 100 vendors on the lot, a huge 60x80 foot tent in the parking lot that will house the Bikes in the $10,000 Bike Builder Invitational, The World Famous Jagermeister Stage, Fireworks on Saturday Night, The Greg Billings Band, The Black Honkeys and The Universal Studios Blues Brothers Band brought to you by Walker Ford and Ford Powerstroke Diesel! WOW!!!!! Besides that we have our Miss Full Throttle Bikini Contest, Tattoo Contests, Bike Shows, $100 an Hour Give-a-way, The Man Cave Give-a-way, raffles, prizes and much more. I hope to see you all at Quaker Steak and Lube January 25-27, 2013 and be sure to bring your friends with you. January also means that Bike Week is only two months away! It's time to start thinking about where you are going to stay when you head over to Daytona For Bike Week 2013. We have a great relationship with the Holiday Inn Resort on the Beach and they have some great hotel rates for Full Throttle Readers. You can find the ad on the Last Page in the Magazine this month. There are rates for both the Holiday Inn Resort and the Econo Lodge right next door. Both are great places to stay, and of course Full Throttle will be having our very popular "LET'S GET CRAZY" party there on Thursday March 14th. We bring great ADULT prizes to throw out to the bikers and we have some interesting contests. It's always a great time! I would like to take this time and wish everyone a very Happy New Year! Be safe and ride smart! STRAWBERRIES xoxoxo

Happy holidays from Pasco Diva Angels, tis the season to volunteer and give gifts. We volunteered at the at the 5th annual Cops N Kids toy run in Tarpon Springs it was a police escorted ride and they had 120 bikes and truck loads of toys for the kids, at Craig park they raffled off gift baskets and had music and food and beer and games for adults and kids, if was a very festive day …. Dec. 8th we participated in the New Port Richey Xmas parade throwing beads and candy and stuffed animals, we had the Natures Coast chapter of Diva’s and guests help decorate our little float and toss the goodies, at the end party at Jilly’s we could watch the rest of the parade and get our beads stocking up for next year On Fri. Dec. 14th we got together with the Goodfellows Brotherhood and wives for dinner and to shop for Xmas gifts for the children in the Pasco County women's abuse center so they could have gifts to open Xmas morning, and a few little gifts for their mothers too. Thank you Goodfellows for donating your time and money to help us with this holiday treat of giving. Dinner was

We do hundreds of runs and benefits here at Full Throttle but our toy run to St.Joseph's Children's Hospital is one of our favorites. Over 200 motorcycles gathered at Tampa Harley-Davidson on Saturday December 15 and made their way to St.Joe's Hospital. Once there, everybody got to meet the sick and injured children and their families one-on-one. The run was led by our 1954 antique Ford Firetruck and it was filled with toys! Thanks to all who participated and we are looking ahead to our Christams in July Toy Run later this year!

The Suncoast Brotherhood would like to thank the thousands of people who helped make the 32nd Annual Toy Run a huge success! The weather was fantastic and the K-Mart parking lot was filled with motorcycles on Sunday December 16. It took over 45 minutes for all the bikes to pull out for their journey to the American Legion Post 275 in Dunedin. People lined the streets and the Pinellas County Foster & Adoptive Parents Association received thousands of toys for their children in need. The police escorted run went perfect and we are all ready looking forward to next year!

The Annual Jim's Toy Run was huge as usual. The weather was perfect with a little nip in the air in the early morning then warming up quite nicely. The Full Throttle Firetruck helped lead the ride this year and we were very honored to do so! Jim's released their numbers and they were over 2,500 participants and over 1,700 bikes on the ride. The of bikes going down the road seemed to never stop. Congratulations to the team at Jim's Harley-Davidson and everyone who volunteered and participated to make this one of the biggest toy runs of the year in the Tampa Bay Area! We are already looking forward to next years run on December 1st, 2013.

Tell you a little story – a friend of mine up at the Webster Swap Meet says he didn't want to go down there amongst those carnys. I told him that I thought a lot of people had the wrong idea and there is good and bad in every crowd. If you don't go, don't talk about it. I wished that he would come down spend the day check it out and tell me again what he just said. He did and spent the day, and said he had the best time he had in years. He couldn't believe the facility, the bands, the people and said he would never miss one again. So let's hope there are other people that have those feelings to come check it out and tell me when you leave whether you had a good time or not. Please check our 44

magazine and others for the dates for this event. Hope to see you there. We have many great events happening this month. Check the magazine for times and places. While you are at it please look at the vendors in our magazine and try to support them. Without their support, there would be no magazine for you to read. If you go to Wal Mart and buy Chinese you won't do a thing for the biker community. Try to buy American products. We are really lucky to live in Florida cuz there are some great roads and great things to see. The weather has been great. I would rather put on a light jacket and ride than ride in the summertime. It is a lot better riding this time of year. Get out there and have fun, be careful and I will see you around. See you soon Becky....

Hey everyone! My name is Brandi and I am your newest edition to the Full Throttle Magazine Team. I’ll be representing your northern counties including Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus County. It’s time to kick things up a notch and I’m just the girl to do it! It’s time for you city folks to enjoy our back roads and adventure into my neck of the woods. There are so many beautiful places to ride that not many have been nor heard of. Just a bit about me, I’m a Florida born and raised southern woman! I’ve been around bikes my whole life and both my parents rode Harleys even before I was born and even now. It’s a passion and interest that runs through my family and me. Although, I don’t have my own yet, it’s an interest I intend to fill and soon! Riding to me is away to escape, even if it’s on the back side of the bike. You learn to appreciate so much more that you can’t experience in a car. This month we hosted the 15th Annual Teddy Bear Toy Run to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. As a mom of three boys and my fair share of hospital stays, this ride hit home for sure. It was the best feeling ever to be able to give one back for so many more unable to be home for Christmas. To see their eyes light up and the smiles on their faces when we pulled up and handed out gifts, words can’t describe. Truly amazed on how many people showed up to ride and support an awesome cause! Bikes were lined up going down the rode as far as the eye can see! You all truly Rock!
