December was a great month that started with the Charlie Daniels benefit at the Hard Rock Casino. That event always raises a ton of money for the Angelus House in Pasco. Then we had the Jim's Harley Annual toy run that had close to 1,400 bikes on the ride and over 2,000 people. We also had the Full Throttle Teddy Bear Toy Run to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital that had close to 150 bike on the ride and we ended up with the Suncoast Brotherhood Toy Run that had a ton of people on the ride as well! It's great to see all the bikers coming out to help these great events raise money for the charities they represent. January is a packed month also with a lot of HUGE events happening. First we start off with Thunder By The Bay in Sarasota Jan 8th - 11th. This event draws thousands of people and is located in Downtown Sarasota. Next is Gibtown Bike Fest Jan. 15th - 18th. this is a very fun and entertaining event that will have the wall of death, tons of vendors and much more. and then we end the month with the FLORIDA MOTORCYCLE EXPO AND BIKE BUILDER INVITAIONAL JAN. 23rd - 25th at Quaker steak and Lube in Clearwater Florida. There is so much going on at the Expo this year! It’s the beginning of a new year, we hope everyone enjoyed their holidays with family and friends. The Pasco Diva’s enjoyed doing Christmas shopping for foster children which we choose their names off the Christmas tree at Whiskey River Grill and Bar, then enjoyed lunch and watching the boat parade when we dropped off the toys. Then we donated to Mitty P. Locke elementary school for school supplies with what was left over from our yearly fundraising efforts. We decorated or float for the annual New Port Richey Christmas parade Dec. 13th we tossed beads and handed out stuffed animals to the little ones. A few of us went out and delivered thank you certificates to the generous persons and businesses that donated to our spaghetti charity dinner earlier in the year which benefited Pasco

Stand Down for the homeless vets. In November we held our elections and our officers remain the same but we have added new members and a few new officers so I would like to welcome them all to the group. We are working on our webpage now that we have a member that is good at that. And we have a media marketing officer now and Sally aka Saucy will be doing the next Pasco article so I am sure it will be a lot better than mine since she is experienced in marketing. Our next meeting in Jan. will be the 3rd Thurs. Jan. 15th at Venoms 1 its time to start making our plans for the New Year, charity work etc.. Please everyone be safe out there. As you might know, I was in a very bad car accident back in November. I went from Bayonet Point Hospital to a rehab and then to another rehab. Each place has been worse than the first one. I really feel sorry for those that have no one to look out for them. In most facilities, if you make any noise or problems, they put a pill in your mouth to shut you up. It is really terrible. I am slowly getting better. It has been terrible trying to tolerate these places and their staff. They tell you one thing and do another. Many times they will not even tell me what pills they are giving me. You can sit and wait for hours and the doctors do not even listen to you. You can give them all the information and nothing ever happens. It is always someone elses fault when nothing gets done. Thanks to some good friends, I have been able to get better slowly. On New Year’s Eve, Daniel was in no shape to drive, so he sensibly left his van in the car park and walked home. As he was wobbling along, he was stopped by a policeman. ‘What are you doing out here at four o’clock in the morning?’ asked the police offi cer. ‘I’m on my way to a lecture,’ answered Roger. The Full Throttle Teddy Bear Toy Run had a great turn out this year. The weather was beautiful and the sun was shining on us Dec. 20th as we gathered at Tampa Harley-Davidson to ride to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. We had about 150 bikes on the ride and everyone brought handfuls of toys. Full Throttle had $600 to spend that we raised at our poker tournament and we spent it all on games and toys for the kids! We also collected around $325 in cash donations and handed that directly to the hospital. Thank you to everyone who attended this amazing ride. We do this ride twice a year, July and December and we hope to see you all again on the July ride!
The Suncoast Brotherhood Toy Run had a great turn out also this year. The ride started at the Kmart Parking lot in Dunedin and the lot filled up quick. Kmart had tons of great toys for the bikers to buy for the run as well! The route was a little different than the past few years but I think it was much better. The ride went down through downtown Dunedin and by the hospital. There were a ton of people standing on the road waving and cheering us on. The Full Throttle truck was the second on the ride, it use to be the Full Throttle Fire Truck but we no longer have that. There had to be over 1,000 bikes on the ride as after we parked it took another 30 minutes for all the bikes to pull in and park at the American Legion Post 275. Congrats on another successful year and the huge turn out to the Suncoast Brotherhood.
