Do I really need to say it, damn it's hot outside! It seems that every summer here in Florida, even when you expect the heat, it still gets ya. Be sure while riding in this summer Florida weather you drink lots of water and have your rain gear handy at any given time! Full Throttle hosted our annual Soaked and Sore Ass Poker Run on June 13th and it was a great turn out. We started in Palm Harbor and rode all the way to Panama City Beach. All the stops were great and everyone who was on the ride said the route was perfect and they had a great time! The best hand won $800!!! This is always a big run for us here at Full Throttle Magazine as everyone who went on the ride also got a t-shirt, patch and completion certificate at the end of the ride. We had a breif discussion at the end while I was on stage and I suggested we maybe do next year's event down to the keys again. It was answered with a resounding yes by almost everyone on the ride. So that's the plan, The soaked and Sore Ass Poker Run will be headed to the keys in 2016... maybe to a campground or something where we can have a huge party at the end... not have to worry about hotel rooms... everyone could throw their camping gear on the bike and we can throw a good ol' fashioned shindig... hummm.... that would be fun!? I am open to ideas so please feel free to send them to me at tonyc@floridafullthrottle.com Our cover this month is a little different but it is very close to almost all the bikers hearts in the Tampa Bay Area. Our local "and Amazing" Biker Attorney Extrodianaire, Fran Haasch, just had their newest bundle of Joy, KLAUS, and thought it would be a great idea to have him and her on the cover. Fran and Rhett are amazing people who we consider family here at Full Throttle. They step up and help almost every charity they can in the motorcycle community and beyond. There is also a full page inside the magazine this month with other pictures for everyone to see their newest addition to the biker community. We would like to congratulate Fran and Rhett on their new bundle of Joy and with their family all the best in the world, Love you guys like family! Our annual Christmas In July Toy Run this year is a little different than in the past few years. This year we pushed the time back as to not be in the heat of the day at the end of the ride. We are starting at Tampa Harley-Davidson on Dale Mabry Highway as we have always done, but the starting time is different. Registration is from 1pm till 4pm with kickstands up at 4pm. We will be riding over to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital to drop off the toys and cash donations, then we will be headed over to the Tampa Yankee's Game for a 6pm game. Everyone on the ride will receive a free ticket to the game, hot dog, soda and a Tampa Yankees Hat just for bringing a toy for the children in the Hospital! This is the second year in a row partnering up with the Tampa Yankees and last year it was a huge success with over 300 bikes on the ride! I would love to try and get 400 on this year's ride and totally blow them away at the hospital! You can either bring a toy for the kids or make a cash donation at registration, we turn all the cash donations right to the hospital nurses! There is not better feeling as a biker than walking up to a sick kid and making them smile! No words can describe that feeling. I would like to wish everyone with a birthday in July a happy birthday, a safe and Happy independence day and a very Happy Anniversary to my beautiful with Tonya Cianci this month also, Love you beautiful, STRAWBERRIES!!! Be safe, be smart, don't drink and ride and I'll see you soon!

It all started with my Father, he raised me in a wood working shop from a young age. SpinWurkz Started in 2004,after working and racing for Yamaha/Suzuki for 4 yrs. March 2004 I got my hands on a 1950's super precision Lathe. I was taught to machine metal parts by a 75 year old Proto-type gun smith, named Greg Beach (worked for smith & wessen). He was old school, did things the hard way but I soon learned why. Quality. I was hooked. We started making custom parts and distributing world wide by 2008. Doing full custom builds is something we have done prior to 2004. From custom frames to custom wheels we literally have no limits. Well if you missed me in a couple of issues it has been pretty bad for me the last six months. It is tough getting over a head on wreck at 80 years old!!I still go to the Webster swap meet and bike show. They have a sister swap meet the third Sunday of every month. Come check it out!!! It is at Howards Flea Market in Homossassa Florida on US 19 near the Harley dealer and High Octane Saloon. It is getting to be quite a biker strip on that side of US 19. The vintage Japanese motorcycle club of North America Inc. had a very nice display of older Jap bikes and other Ferrari bikes at the Eustis Antique meet in March. Also the International Vintage motorcycle swap and bike show. I made it their in a wheel chair. Thank you Tim. I am looking to make it their next year,

Id really like to see you in 2016. Not easy getting over this wreck. I missed a couple of months. I broke two toes, 8 ribs, broke collar bone, broke back in 2 places, broke clavicle in neck and strained muscles. Now I have a terrible headache as well as a bad bone bruise. It hurts all the time., cant hardly walk on it. If you ever had a stone bruise it is like that but on my knee. They said it could be 6 months, well it has made 6 months now they say 6 more.it is still black and blue after almost 3 months in hospitals, and rehab. I am just starting to walk on it thanks to some of the ladies who helped care for me especially BRANDY who helped me mentally and physically. They say motorcycles are bad this is what a car wreck did to me. See you soon Brandy.... A friend and his wife had a baby Noah Ayesha on March 19, 2015. Welcome to the world Noah. Hope you have a good life. PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUZIE

Hi All... Sharing some of the things that went on last month - If you missed the Soaked and Sore Ass ride it was another good one! It started in Palm Harbor and all the way up to Panama City Beach. Anne and I had the stop in Perry and we decided to drive up on Friday night. We picked a place in Perry on 98 called Deals Famous Oyster House and this place had seafood that was out of this world. When you walk in the door the ‘shuckers’ welcome you by saying “The finest people walk thru that door.” The wait staff is friendly and helpful. They have a small floor show and they don’t know how to count oysters there!! You order ½ dozen and you get 8 or a dozen and you get 16!!! If you are up that way Tuesday – Saturday make sure you stop by!! Our stop in Perry was at Goodman’s Bar-B Q and this was another place that had good food!! From Panama City Beach Tony, Charlie and I drove up to Ohio!! We spent 3 days there meeting with people and promoting the Ohio Bike Builder Invitational and Motorcycle Expo at the QSL in Columbus. We were busy as can be, they do things differently there and we learned a lot of new things. We are looking forward to the event come August!! Driving back was a very long day for us but we all got home safe & sound. Till next month - Live life to the fullest and party you’re a$$ off. Dew 42

LUCY’S HERITAGE This month I wrote about something near and dear to my heart: LUCY my bike I LOVE LUCY (HARLEY-DAVIDSON SPORTSTER), that is! Mom and dad had a 1941 HarleyDavidson, so it was only natural that (when I learned to ride), I bought a Sportster. Immediately, I named her LUCY (because my mom and I loved LUCY). Right off the bat, I got a personalized plate that honors my mom and dad both. BUT THAT ISN’T THE WHOLE STORY: Gee, what a thrill it would have been to ride next to them! Oh what a wonderful time we would have had travelling the countryside with our Harley’s But, my dad sold his for $500 (yea, can you imagine what it would have been worth today???). Here’s a picture of Mom and Dad’s Harley. I apologize for the poor quality. It was a picture taken of a picture and the original picture wasn’t that good in the first place. My Harley was a 2007 Stock Sportster. Here’s is what she looked like before (when I first picked her up at Brandon Harley-Davidson. As you can see, what a transformation! Lucy was grey without too much chrome. I wanted her that way in case of falls, etc. She WAS a stock grey Sportster, 883cc. Then I added VANCE & HINES pipes which made

LUCY louder! Ya know, LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES (and Eddie couldn’t HEAR me when I was riding next to his chopper). I was happy with Lucy, but then I heard about a bigger engine and started to explore the options. AND WAHLAH! I LOVE LUCY more than ever cuz SHE IS BEAUTIFUL! LUCY now has 1050cc, is purple and lavender, and has a portrait of LUCY herself on the tank. Thanks to KORY @ KORY SOUZA ORIGINALS (508-294-0760), JOE @ GULF COAST AUTO PAINTING (941-321-3757), DAVID LEE (941-284-3977), MANATEE AUTO & MARINE UPHOLESTRY (941-7464050), Lucy is all lit up thanks to DONALD @ KNIGHT LED LIGHTS (407-690-2510) and JACK @ LIGHT UP MY BIKE (941-720-5323). So if you’re looking for a customization, I highly recommend any and all of the people who helped me get LUCY to her beautiful state! *** Check out these amazing places: Firkins Dodge (Bradenton) 941-748-6510 Take Aim Gun Range (Sarasota) 941-351-GUNS (4867) Til next issue, Nancy P. We had a great soaked and sore ass run this year! Although, if you were soaked it was because of sweat and NOT rain! We actually made it through the whole ride from Palm Harbor to Panama City Beach and never saw any rain. We gave out over $1,600 in cash prizes to our winners and losers. First place won $800 with a full house Ace's over nine's and that was Todd and Nina Peterson. Second Place won $400 with a full house King's over Queen's and that was Thomas Cornelius and Nita Romeo, 3rd place won $250 and that was Jerry Lubick with a full house ten's over Queen's. We had a three way tie for worst hands with David Sylvester, Harrison Reeder and Frank and Peggy Wattenbarger who all split the money and each of them had the best/worst hand you can get, 2,3,4,5,7. We love this ride every year and had a ton of fun planning it! Next year we will be headed back to the Keys somewhere. We would like to thank everyone who went on this ride and all the others who have braved the elements in the past years to make this such an epic ride! Have a great year, we are already looking forward to next years ride!
