Well, here we are half way through the year and it’s getting hot!!! Be sure to bring your rain gear everywhere and drink lots of water while out there riding! Tons of new bike nights are popping up all over so try to get to these great businesses who are putting them on and help support the motorcycle community! Full Throttle is in the process of growing! We are looking for self-motivated sales people who want to be a part of the motorcycle industry. We are looking to go into North Florida in Jacksonville, and St. Augustine as well as Gainesville and Tallahassee. We are willing to start you off with a small base salary and then commissions on sales made in the magazine and pay to distribute the magazines. Full Throttle also hosts numerous events and we can help business put on bike nights, biker parties, grand opening events or even three-day festivals. If you are interested please call and talk to the Sales Manager LES TOLLIVER at 727-534-4447. Full Throttle is offering some great advertising specials at this time also! We never hide our advertising rates as we always have them in the magazine for you to see. What we are offering right now is for Full and Half Page ads. If you sign a 12-month agreement and you pay the entire agreement up front, we will give you two months for free. What that means is a full-page ad is $500 per month on a 12-month agreement. 12 months times $500 equals $6000 and you can pay each month, if that works best for you and your company. But, if you pay up front for the year, we give you two months free (-$1000) so it will only cast $5000 for the entire year then. You also get numerous Facebook posts on our page that has over 143,000 likes and your ad on our weekly email blast, what a deal!!!! For more info call our offices at 727-935-4875. Want to put on a bike night, party or event, but don’t have the time and effort or staff to make it happen? Call us and we are here to help. Full Throttle can help do any things to help make your next event a success like: book bands, get sponsors, secure vendors, print b anners and flyers, put on a bike show with judges and trophies, book entertainment for your event, advertise your event and much more!!! We are here to help the motorcycle community and the event! Full Throttle Vision is coming back each week, but is going to be a little different. We are going to do a LIVE Facebook show on our page at 1pm every Monday and it’s going to be called, Full Throttle Lunch Break! We will be visiting advertisers and different locations every week talking to you about the upcoming events, what happened the past weekend and of course checking out the place we will be filming from. Set your alarms to 1pm every Monday starting July 3rd for the Full Throttle Live Lunch Break! Quaker Steak and Lube is giving away a bike for FREE!!!! Shortcuts to Riding Like A Pro For quite a few years, the biggest selling motorcycles have been touring bikes or baggers with all the bells and whistles. The people who purchase these heavyweights tend to be in the 50 to 65 years old range. Whether you buy a Harley Ultra or an Indian, Goldwing or Victory, these motorcycles are heavy. They range in weight from 925 lbs. to a little over 1,000 lbs. Add your weight to that plus a passenger and some essentials you might carry, you’re up around 1,300 to 1,400 lbs. You will certainly feel that weight if you attempt to back up that behemoth or when moving it around the garage. There’s not much you can do about those two situations. However, once you’re out of the garage, all that weight should not be a chore to maneuver through traffic, turning around or working your way through a sea of similar motorcycles at your local bike night. In all the above situations, you simply cannot muscle that 1,400 lbs. around, no matter your strength. I’ve seen lots of riders try that and it almost always turns out the same way. The bike tips over, the rider and passenger wind up on the ground and you sprained your back when you were trying to keep it from tipping over. The good news is, there’s a much better and easier way. All you need is a little technique. You need to know how to use the clutch and throttle to handle your bike at low speeds. It’s just a matter of slipping the clutch a bit, also known as using the friction zone. The next technique that helps greatly at low speeds is to drag the rear brake. In other words, a little light pressure on the rear brake while at the same time you’re putting power to the rear wheel with the clutch and throttle allows you to creep along at extremely low speeds while maintaining complete control. Combine those two techniques with looking ONLY where you want to go and it’s as if you just took 400 lbs. off your bike. Using these techniques takes virtually no strength at all. In fact, tiny women can do it. Even better, it will only take you about an hour to get the hang of it. I’ve even got a video for you that will show you exactly how to learn these techniques without setting up any cones by simply using the parking lot spaces found in every parking lot as a guide. My video is called, “Shortcuts to Riding Like A Pro” and for the next few weeks, I’ll send it to your door for only fifteen dollars. The Shortcuts DVD will show you exactly how to handle your 900-lb. bike with skill and confidence and only taking up an hour of your time. C’mon, you spent 25K on your bike, why not learn how to ride it? Fifteen dollars will teach you how to get the most out of your bike in the shortest amount of time. This offer is ONLY good by calling our toll free, 866-868-7433. Offer ends on June 30th, 2017 and applies for domestic orders only within the USA.

FROM WALL STREET TO MAIN STREET BY: Michelle Osborne/Wall Street Rides, LLC@ Fromwallstreettomainstreet. com 754-MONEY-AM

In today's environment it's not how much money you earn; its how much you keep that is also just as important. As we have all worked too hard to earn every dollar we have made. You might think the money is safe in your personal bank account or under the mattress, this will cost you dearly. Don't let this be you because the average rate of inflation is approximately 1-3% over many years. We all remember what we paid for our first house and what it is worth today. I paid $25,000 for my first house and today it would sell for $275,000. Everyone needs to pay close attention not only to their affairs but their aging parents affairs as well. It can be unsettling for investors when their portfolios and the markets start heading into the red. Here are six investing basics to keep in mind during volatile times. 1. Periods of volatility are normal- All markets move in cycles, and periods of steep contraction are completely normal. While the length of market downturns varies, periods of growth and expansion are usually waiting on the other side. 2. Don't panic-Letting emotions dictate your investing strategy is a risk you shouldn't take. Short-term decisions can have long-term consequences on your portfolio. Being patient can pay dividends. 3. Know your portfolio-Understand your investments and how specific assets represent different goals and outcomes. Keep in mind your risk tolerance and investment timeline, and if either has changed, consider talking to us about what works for you. 4. Stay the course-Remember your financial plan and long-term goals and stick to them. A disciplined approach is the

30

best strategy for handling market downturns and will likely enable you to participate when the markets rebound. 5. Consider opportunities-Working with your financial advisor, determine whether periods of volatility are a good time to take advantage of investment opportunities in line with your long-term plan. 6. You're not alone-I am here and available to help you when you need it. I can guide you through difficult markets and be the independent voice that helps you stay focused on your long-term goals. Give us a call as we take a holistic approach and look at everything you have that affects yours, your family's or your business's financial future. Most people don't realize the importance of reviewing their overall financial health, which can include your family, your aging parents, your business affairs until it's too late. That’s when we usually get the call, too late. We are here to help you through the COMPLETE PROCESS. Here we go again. What a great month for a Duck. All though most of our bike nights were rained out, we still had a great time. Our first bike night out at Harley Davidson on 54 was one hell of a hit. Throttle Thursday is something you have to see to believe. You should come out next month. The Beards will be there rock'en the house. This year was our 20th anniversary of the Soaked and Sore Ass run. What a turn out. I can't thank everyone enough for making the journey. We have been working on some big things here at Full Throttle. We now have a Roller Derby Team and a team of girls to help with bike nights and events. The Full Throttle girls will be out and about meeting everyone and having fun. We are going to have a naming contest for out new "Full Throttle Girls" Who will also be

40

sponsored by Let's Ride in New Port Richey. Be on the Look out for ads and our facebook page, as we will be asking you all for your name suggestions and the winner or whoever comes up with the best name, will win a great prize that is yet to be determined. Don't forget about the Pinellas Hope Benefit at Quaker Steak on July 22nd. The ad is on the next page. Love to see you all come out and raise money for a great cause. We have some great sponsors involved and there is a rumor that Moramoto is donating a motorcycle that will be live-auctioned off! Remember to keep a close eye on all of our events coming up. Lots of good times and something to do for everyone. Like always be free and ride safe. Remember if you would ever like to run an add with us, put on that special event, host your very own bike night, or would just like to say hello, give me a call. The Gremlin Bell (Guardian Bell) The Little bell that a biker has hanging off his or her bike. We all have seen them but do you actually know where the legend came from.. This is a brief history of that legend. An old biker traveling home from Mexico was riding along thinking how lucky he was that he had a partner who understood his need to roam the open road on his trusty old bike that has never failed him. While riding through the desert, up ahead laid a group of those little things we like to call road gremlins. You know a pothole, a shoe, boards, a piece of tire. These things give the gremlins a chance to regale in their little evil acts. Well the old biker was attacked by a group of these gremlins and he went down. He lay there unable to move as the gremlins continued to come at

48

him. But this old biker not being one to give up, threw things at the gremlins but nothing worked, they kept coming. He had nothing left but a couple bells so he started ringing them in hopes that the ringing would scare them away. Half a mile away, two bikers were sitting around a campfire reminiscing of the days travels. In the quiet of the night they heard what they thought to be church bells ringing. They set out to find where the sound was coming from, what they found was the old biker on the ground with gremlins ready to attack him. They fought off the gremlins until the last one was gone. The old biker being very grateful offered to pay them, but they refused. So the old biker cut two pieces of leather off his saddle bags and tied each piece to a bell. He then tied a bell to each of their bikes. The old biker told the two that the bells would protect them from the road gremlins and if they were ever in trouble to just ring the bells. So if you ever see a biker with a bell, you know he was given a very special gift from a fellow biker. If you know a fellow biker without a bell, purchase one and give it to them as a gift. The magic is twice as strong when given as a gift. It is to be placed on the lowest and most forward point of your bike. The gremlins will jump away when they hear the bell ringing. Ride safe and watch out for those gremlins!!! Connie

Thank you to everyone that came out for the 20th Annual Full Throttle Soaked and Sore Ass Poker Run! What an amazing event to be a part of! It all started at One Bar and Grill in Dunedin with over 260 participants! Then over to Bartow, at Mulligan’s Golf Course, Desert Inn in Yeehaw Junction, Sandy’s Grille in Sebastian, HD Roadhouse in Merritt Island, Dirty’s Harry’s on Main Street Daytona Beach, and finishing up at the White Lion in St. Augustine. Tim Smith, from the TV show “Moonshiners,” and his Climax Moonshine Florida Tour met up with us at the White Lion, and let me tell you, he and his crew exceeded every expectation we had (down to the overalls!). The Prom Kings rocked a full house, and we gave away $1500.00 in cash prizes to our poker hand winners! The turnout for this event was nearly double what we had anticipated (I am ordering patches, shirts, and certificates as I write this). Looking at numerous locations for the run next year, talks of either Savannah, GA, or Miami (with a huge hotel pool party at the end) have come up and are our current front-runners!! Hop on our Facebook page and post your thoughts and pictures, as we would love to see them!! Once again, thank you to everyone who made the 344-mile trip, Expedia.com for handling the hotel bookings, our 7 host locations for the outstanding service, Misfit Metal Works for sponsoring the trophies, Silks on 19 for the 10 cases of water at the beginning stop, Tim Smith with Climax Moonshine, Attorney Fran Haasch for the bandannas and face covers and Mother Nature for holding out the rain until the very end! Until next year! Ride Safe everyone!!

I hope you have enjoyed the interviews with Ron Bushy, Greg Billings. Frankie Banali, Jasmine Cain, Jay Leno. Neil Davis, and many others. Very sorry I spelled your name wrong last month “Greg Billings,” I’m blaming spell check. Ha-ha. It’s been an awesome year of meeting many of you at our events too. I have missed a few good ones much to my disappointment but I am sure you will see me soon! Figured I would share a little this month, Spring is my busiest time the kids get out of school and seem to multiply if you have a houseful of food, 4 turns into 9 before I’ve had my coffee! Many afternoons of fishing at the piers, nonstop trips to Publix, summer football practice, Boy/Cub Scout camps, Church camps, I stay pretty busy between jobs, kids and volunteer work. But grateful I get to make my own hours for every venture I do and Full Throttle is no different. At night, I am dying to grab a ride on my Bike, but I’ll admit happier to be on the back of my husband David’s where I do not have to think. Soft Breeze in my face and sorry kids “can’t hear your 15 calls about who ate whose stale chocolate bunny from Easter or why we are out of chocolate milk. One of the coolest events I have attended lately and for the first time was Red Tiki Bike Night in St Pete to go do a

Happy fourth of July. June was very wet, it rained just about every day and of course tropical storm Cindy did not help. sorry about missing last month, I had the Tallahassee crud that put me down for three weeks. I did make to Monticello. for the lazy lizard pizza company’s bike night, the second Saturday of the month with music Ally Kats and dancing in the street, good food and fun. The second Thursday was bike night a Tallahassee H-D with a live band, bar b que and pizza from a local radio station. This is a fun time. For Father’s Day, they had free hot dogs and beverages and a free 62

livestream for our FB page. The place is fun, the great band blocked out the cell phone calls, tons to do, even pool tables! Seth the owner is a crazy fun Biker full of ideas who even serves $1 food at his special events/Bike nights, ( which are now every Saturday and Tuesday). Yes, I tried one of everything I think.…thankfully I found that new hammock spot. I made the mistake of staying too late in the Hammock and hit rain without meaning to. Our bike skidded twice when David my husband was braking for a red light and he had to run it to keep upright, I asked if the brakes were too wet, He said no the road is. He told me the new bikes were much safer with Anti-Lock brakes, as we sat in the rain for hours at the skyway while it poured.…OK SO YES, we’re getting one of those, I will be in to see one of our awesome Harley shops that advertise with us, feel free to give me a discount! Yep you’re getting that new Bike you wanted David, pick it out before I do! I would love to do more Biker Events, so please call me/email for a Bike night, Full page ad with FB livestreams or interview request. Look for me at Applebee’s Sarasota in August for their Bi weekly Tuesday Bike nights, and everywhere after school starts in 39 days, but who’s counting! bike wash for the dads. Every weekend it is free hot dogs and beverages, music and fun and great deals on bikes, so if you are looking for something to do, come on up to Tallahassee and check out the big bend area. Everyone have a safe fourth of July. I will let you know more about what’s happening up here in Tallahassee. this is the month to get ready for the 77th ride to Sturgis. Enjoy the good riding weather with temps the same as ours. until next month remember to ride safe no matter what you ride. keelhauler.
