Hello fellow Floridians and Out of Towners here for BIKE WEEK 2024! This is going to be a huge year as we are past all that crap in 2022 and before that even! Let’s get out there, have a good time and enjoy Bike Week! Full Throttle will be all over the place this year with 5 different bike shows in 7 days and a booth at the Speedway like in the past. We will also be visiting all the Great area and other bike shows and events happening so if you see us please make sure we get a group shot of you so it can go on our social media pages and possibly in the magazine!
Yes, I said 5 Bike Shows in 7 days at Daytona Beach Bike Week. I tried to do 7 shows in 7 days but Monday and Tuesday were difficult to make something happen. I know there are a few shows on those days already so we will stop into those and say hi and take pictures for sure! Our First show is always the same as it has been the past few years and that is our KICKOFF BIKE SHOW at Destination Daytona under the pavilion. We usually fill up under the pavilion with around 75-100 bikes! Help us make it the largest show yet and come out on the first weekend and show off your bike! We have great trophies for 1st and 2nd place and some 4 ft trophies and cash prizes event for this first show of Bike Week! The next show will be at SEMINOLE HARLEY. This will be a normal 10 class bike show but I hear
they have bikini bike wash girls and vendors there so it should be a great place to hang out. Seminole Harley is in Sanford and is located at 620 Hickman Circle. We hope to get a good number of bikes there! Our Third Show is on Wednesday at the Speedway, and this is our first year returning to the Daytona International Speedway. We were there for a long time then covid hit and changed everything. We are back and very excited to host a bike show at the speedway. I know there is a lot to do there while waiting for the awards so you can go test ride all the great bikes they have to offer, I think every brand of motorcycle is there to test ride, even the slingshots and Vander halls which are a blast the take out for a test ride. Our 4th show is a little different but it has been growing and gets an awesome turnout. We have a nighttime bike show on Thursday night at the Grandview Live Gentleman’s Club. This has grown so big we need the entire lot and fill it up with bikes every year. This past year we had over 90 entries, and did an audio show. If you enter the Bike Show you get into the club for FREE! This is also an amazing club, very clean and nice and has some beautiful entertainers. Our Last show is our WORLDFAMOUS BOARDWALK BIKE SHOW on Friday March 10th. This show happens at the end of main street on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, you even must ride on the sidewalk to get to the tent to enter your bike. I am estimating this will be the largest show ever done. That would mean we would need to get over 153 entries into the show, that is our largest number to date! I love hosing bike shows and doing it at Bike Week is the best. I look forward to seeing all the new builds and fabrication and the builders who come up with amazing new creations every year. First, The Diva Angels Tampa Bay Chapter wishes Robin & Bill Hawk prayers for recovery. They had a horrible house fire and lost everything, including their beloved dog Harley. Lust 4 Steel (Mike Mikola) made a few shout outs and an Epic Event at Quaker Steak and Lube Spring on Bike Night quickly developed. Thanks to the biker community who helped the Diva Angels raise $540 selling raffle tickets for Liquor Bottles, handing 100% collected to the Hawks. 2023 is full speed ahead and we are already into March. Bike Week is around the corner, Ladies Ride in Jacksonville is at the end of the month, and our riding calendar is filling up. Since this is a busy time on two, remember to check your tires. DOT stamp for the age of the tires and the air pressure to maintain a good foundation on the roadway. The final four digits on your DOT number will tell you the tire’s age. The first two numbers indicate the ‘week’ of the year your tire was manufactured. The final two digits indicate the year. Know your motorcycle, keep tools in your saddle -

What's new Florida! I get a chance to reach about a million people with this issue, so while I have this platform here goes. We hear everyday another person perished in a motorcycle accident. Often The first assumption is an old person didn't see them. And very often that's true with no way out. But your reflexes suck after drinking and smoking . And this is a tough one because most biker events are centered around alcohol. Not all but many. Beers and bikers are supposed to go together until you can't react in time and kill yourself or passenger. It's an ugly subject I know. Every time we walk out our front door we have a choice and decisions to make. Some choices could end up in tragedy, history shows us this over and over. Where will you be at the end of the day?
The morgue, intensive care, let's not forget jail or will it be your own bed? The choice is yours, but the rest of us are counting on you too. Party with responsibility!
There I said it ! before you bring up street racing and 180 mph bikes being stupid I will. Keep it on the track, we have people sponsoring track nights. My question to some of you is this, why are you making it unsafe for your brothers and sisters when we already have so much to worry about. Peace and love to my biker world
