Tampa Bay attorneys John Della Costa and David Neville met while working at local law firms that operated with what they call the “Mill Mentality.” The goal of the “Mill Mentality” is to attract as many cases as possible and then push them through the legal system quickly. It was a volume business that produced great revenue for the law firms, but John and David always felt the clients weren’t getting the personal attention they deserved.
THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO GET YOUR FREE GUIDE*: 1) Visit www.ProLawUSA.com and click the download button
2) Call our office at In 2006 John and David decided to do things differently. They envisioned a law firm where clients could work directly with their attorneys – not paralegals, case workers, or assistants like they would at a typical “TV law firm.” They knew this approach would require them to accept fewer cases but they also knew it was the best way to serve their clients. Together, John and David created the law firm of Della Costa & Neville to provide clients with the personal service they felt was lacking in so many of the larger firms.

If you’ve been injured there are plenty of law firms out there eager to handle your case and it’s not always easy to tell the differences between them. That’s why John Della Costa decided to write Don’t Get Caught In The Mill! It’s an inside look at the way different law firms operate and is designed to provide consumers with the information they need to select the right attorney for their case. If you are a Florida resident you can get this book for free without any obligation.

Wow, So much has happened in the past months and it will be nonstop from now until probably April for Leesburg Bike Fest. Cotee River Bike Fest was a huge success and then we went right into Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach, then back to put a magazine together! Cotee River has huge crowds and totally blew away all of the committee's expectations we had going into the event! Special that to everyone who came out and all the vendors and sponsors who helped put it on. Then in Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach Full Throttle hosted two major bike shows that had huge turnouts. The first one was at Destination Daytona Harley-Davidson with almost 100 entries, then we were at the Boardwalk Bike Show on The Daytona Beach Boardwalk that had over 70 entries. Full Throttle will be taking over the Boardwalk Bike show in March for Bike Week from Bill Chaffin who has run it for a very long time and has done an amazing job. We are excited to bring on new judges, new bike classes, a bikini contest and much more! Full Throttle is also in talks with putting on a Saturday Bike Show, the last Saturday of Bike Week (Baggers on the Boardwalk) with a big cash prize for the best baggers at Bike Week. Look for more info to come in future issues! IT'S SO CLOSE NOW.... that's right.... the Florida Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational is January 23rd - 25th, 2015 at Quaker Steak and Lube. We are selling vendors spots now and they are filling up quickly. Last year we estimated 30,000 in attendance over the three day weekend and we are making this year's event bigger and better than last year with a new headline act, different bands, street performers and as always $100 an hour cash give-a-way, bikini contest, fireworks and much more! If you are interested in being a sponsor, please contact us as we have some great opportunities for a few sponsorship we have still available. If you are wanting to enter a bike in the $20,000 cash and prize Bike Builder Invitational, send me an e-mail of the bike with pictures for a personal invitation to tonyc@floridafullthrottle.com or call me at 727-919-1743 on my cell and we can talk. We are doing something a little different. We are hosting a poker tournament at the Silks Poker room at Tampa Bay Downs on November 16th to benefit the Full Throttle Teddy Bear Toy Run to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. The cost is $100 to enter and we will be paying CASH to the top 5 winners in the tournament. Half of the entries will be going to the toy run to help buy toys and video games for the older children. If you have never done a poker tournament and always wanted to, this is the time to do it! There will be special prize baskets for knocking specific people out of the tournament like myself and my dad, Paul Allen, and a few others. The prize baskets will be full of gift cards and other special items from Full Throttle Magazine! The event starts at 3pm and we hope to see you all there! We hope to see everyone at the Full Throttle 18th Anniversary Party at Quaker Steak and Lube on Nov. 9th. We have a bikini contest, free cake, biker games, a bike show and bands playing all day. I would also like to wish everyone a happy birthday in the month of Nov. including Charlie Humphries and Charlie Three Finger. November and December are busy months with lots of charity rides. Try and do as many as you can to help out the less fortunate. The holiday season is the time of giving! Be safe, ride smart, STRAWBERRIES to my beautiful wife and we will see you on the road. Don't drink and ride!!!!

The International Independent Showmen’s Association has been an integral part of the Gibsonton/Riverview area for almost 50 years. This area of Florida has been the permanent and winter home to many Carnival Showmen and Circus performers. The Club and Club grounds were established to provide a place where everyone involved in the outdoor amusement industry could come together to share stories of the past seasons, to make arrangements for the upcoming seasons or to just have a good time. The members who founded the I.I.S.A raised all of the monies needed to procure the property as well as build and erect all of its buildings that we have today. That process of being totally self-funded continues today as we continue to add to and maintain all of our properties. From its conception the club and its members have always been very community minded. Seeing a need to help some of the financially less fortunate local citizens primarily not show people, the club established its annual Christmas basket drive. Members of the Club formed a committee to ensure that children and their families were provided with boxes of wrapped gifts and baskets of food for several holiday meals. Clothing drives were also added from time to time and the clothes, shoes and household items were dispersed through the local elementary school here in town. We still to this day follow this practice. A massive special needs Children’s Christmas party was established very early on. Several of our members thought to reach out to the Hillsborough County School system and began hosting this wonderful party complete with singing, dancing, dj's, and a circus act or two. This year we had over 300 of these special kids, each had a chance to talk with Santa and Mrs. Clause and receive a huge bag full of gifts. The I.I.S.A. also hosts the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Senior citizens Banquet, many of whom are driven to and from their homes by club members so they can attend. The Showmen’s club annual Circus has long been a major community event at the club grounds for over 30 years with an all-volunteer workforce from the club along with all of the wonderful circus performers from all over Florida who donate their
32
time and special talents to this special show. A portion of the money goes to some of the smaller, local charities in the South County. One of our newest and grandest projects was the completion of the Showmen’s Museum. This large free standing building is full of historical artifacts, photos and large advertising banners depicting the evolution of the outdoor amusement industry. Visit our museum and walk through the history of days gone by. Our club is also home to one of Florida’s largest Shrine organizations. The Showmen’s Shrine club and is the only Shrine club anywhere that is allowed to have a worldwide membership. The Showmen’s Shrine club membership is not limited to just showmen, and with over 400 members, they continue to raise and provide funds for the Shriners hospitals along with several other charitable causes. Over the last few years our club float has been included in the world famous Gasparilla Pirates Parade where we have been honored with many first place and top awards. We now float in many other parades as well and are always a trophy winner for our ever-changing, over the top float creations. A newer group at the Showmen’s Club is our Relay For Life Team. Team Showmen has, in a very short time, become one of the largest fundraising groups in the fight to wipe out cancer. The year round dedication of this team is relentless and will not cease until the battle has been won. We here at the Showmen’s club have quietly been giving back to our community for many years. We hope that this small insight into who we really are will help you understand the pride we have in calling Gibsonton our home and playground. It is with great pride that we invite you to our annual Bikefest this year. Over the years the Showmen’s Bikefest has become a major Florida event. One which we will continue to improve upon to ensure that you have a great time. The Showmen’s Bikefest along with The Shriners Poker Run welcomes bikers from all over the southern United States. There is plenty of parking and room to accommodate those of you who would like to travel in your R.V. as well. We welcome you all to enjoy our facilities and club grounds. Come on down to “Gibtown, where the summer spends the winter!” See ya there.

The 2014 Cotee River Bike Fest was a huge success! There was so much going on all weekend in Downtown New Port Richey from bands playing on the main stage in Sims Park to bands rocking our satellite stage in Downtown. Jerry Motorman put on shows all weekend as well as the Jesse Toler stunt show! If that wasn't enough, Harley-Davidson had their semi out there doing test rides on all the new 2015 motorcycles they have for sale! The crowd were estimated over 20,000 in attendance over the three day weekend! I would like to send out a big congrats to all of our title sponsors including: The Law Offices of Fran M. Haasch, New Port Richey Harley-Davidson, Team Farrell, 72 Hour Print, Tampa bay Times, Great Bay, Hits 106, Full Throttle Magazine and the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce and everyone else that stepped up to make this one of the biggest years ever in the Bike Fest History! We are already planning next year's event and it will be bigger and better that this year! Hope to see you there! Tony C.

Hello bikers November is here already. Welcome to my Back Yard. Wow can you believe it November is here already, Where did the year go. But good thing is Motorcycle season if here and in full swing down here. October got the season kicked off with Thunder Beach Fall Rally in Panama City FL. Boardwalk Resort was rocking it with Molly Hatchet of the Friday and the on Saturday I hosted the famous Paint-NBody contest. Then it was the return of Cotee River Bike fest. New Port Rickey was buzzing with bikes from all around the Tampa Bay area. Live music, ride in bike show, Stunt shows and so much more. Can't wait till next year. It will be bigger and better than ever.
40
After that how could October get even better. How about Daytona Biketoberfest. It was huge this year. Even the Wednesday was loaded on Main street before the event even kicked off. Full Throttle had Main Street covered from end to end. We was back at Main Street Station where two stages rocked the weekend with great music. Then for the first time
ever Full Throttle invaded Dirty Harry's where we streamed live all weekend. Well that's it from here. Hope everyone has a very safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. See you in December.

Hi All....well I made it back from Daytona Beach Biketoberfest ..it was great weather and busy like it usually is! Full Throttle did two bike shows - Destination Dayton show was on Thursday where we have a great turn out and then on Friday it was the Boardwalk show.....if you haven't been to one yet, make sure you come out during Bike Week and check it out. Its a great place for a show with some amazing bikes along the boardwalk with the Atlantic in the background. Most of my time was spent at the Full Throttle booth at Main Street Station - watching people and giving out the best motorcycle magazine! Main Street Station also had bands playing every day....of course the best was when my Bro Jeff Vitolo was playing with The Living Dead. It was the first time I heard the Living Dead and that band really rocks the house. We also had booths at Destination Daytona and Dirty Harry's. When I got back I DJ'd a Classic Rock night at Bourbon where they had a Ghost Pepper Chicken Wing eating contest on October 23rd.....one of the contestants said they were the hottest wings in town! Watch out for future events at Bourbon Street in New Port Richey - a great place to have fun!! Along with everything that has been going on we welcomed two new grand babies on October 11th - Camilo and Alazaria Carroll! November 9th is the Full Throttle's 18th Anniversary party at Quaker Steak n Lube. There will be a 10 class bike show, 4 bands playing, vendors and lots more things going on. Till next month - Live life to the fullest and party you’re a&& off Dew

When I was about 3 years I got a pedal power tricycle - my first 3 wheel vehicle. Then, when I was 4, I got a 2 wheel pedal power bicycle. Then, I had a neighbor who used to help me out since I was being raised by an old maid aunt and he fixed up a little cart and hooked up to billy goat. That was my first vehicle I didn't have to pedal, the only problem was when he turned him loose he headed for the neighbors flower bed turning the wagon over. So then, we tried a fishing pole with a carrot on a string, that didn't work. Thinking back, maybe I should have put a flower on it. So much for that. As time went by I had a lot of bicycles and fixed 'em up. A couple of guys got out of the army, fixed up a clay track with comet motor scooters - rented by the lap. I was intrigued and hung out every day after school and watch the bikes and helped them - they would let me ride free at the end of the day. Eventually, they were giving me parts and I managed to get enough parts to put one together and make
44
it run. Couldn't ride them on the street, so I graduated to a whizzer motor bike. From there to a Cushman motor scooter. In the meantime I used to mow a lawn, $2, which was usually around an acre up to my waist I had to cut it with a sickle and them with a push mower with no motor. So anyhow, I kept graduating to cars then to my first Harley, army surplus, 1945. Since then I have owned a lot of motorcycles scooters etc - too many to think about counting. Bought and sold 'em to make money and rode them in the meantime. I have gotten older and its harder to ride the big Harley dresser. So I am graduating back down to step thru motor scooters. They make 'em pretty good these days - they will run 100 mph or so. But the real wonder of it all is on November 17 I will be 80 years old. And I am still riding. If I live to the 17th of this month. That will give me 77 years of riding. Who in the world would have thought it - I definitely didn't. Next to that I like women - I am not sure which comes first, scooters or women. See you soon

For instance, if they are holding a gun, she’s probably angry. ******************** a man met a beautiful lady and he decided he wanted to marry her right away. She protested,” but we don’t know anything about each other.” He replied,” That’s all right; we’ll learn about each other as we go along.” So she consented, and they were married, and went on a honeymoon to a very nice resort. One morning, they were lying by the pool when he got up off his towel, climbed up to the 10 meter board and did a two and a half tuck gainer, entering the water perfectly, almost without a ripple. This was followed by a three rotations in jackknife position before he again straightened out and cut the water like a knife. after a few more demonstrations, he came back and lay down on his towel. She said, “That was incredible!” He said,” i used to be an Olympic diving champion. you see, i told you we’d learn more about each other as we went along.” So she got up, jumped in the pool and started doing laps. She was moving so fast that the froth from her pushing off at one end of the pool would hardly be gone before she was already touching the other end. She did laps in freestyle, breast-stroke, even butterfly! after about thirty laps, completed in mere minutes, she climbed back out and lay down on her towel, barely breathing heavy. He said,” That was incredible! were you an Olympic endurance swimmer?” No, she said,” i was a hooker in windsor and i worked both sides of the river! ******************** a man received a letter from some kidnappers. it was the first time the blonde was eating Thanksgiving dinner without her family. Trying to re-enact the tradition, she prepared a dinner for herself alone. The next day, her mother called to see how everything went. “Oh, mother, i made myself a lovely dinner, but i had so much trouble trying to eat the turkey!” said the daughter. “did it not taste good?” her mother asked. “i don’t know,” the blonde said. “it wouldn’t sit still!

Center, so that brings back a lot of memories for me. This month I had the pleasure of interviewing Jack Ovadia, Owner of LIGHT UP MY BIKE 2300 Whitfield Park Dr., Unit K-20 SARASOTA, FL 34243 941-720-5323 E-mail: lightupmybike@ gmail.com www.lightupmybike.
com Jack started LIGHT UP MY BIKE eight years ago (2006)! Do you have a smart phone? Yes
people? Rich, Yes. Famous, No.
Have you done work for any “famous”
What do you offer? L.E.D. lighting on MOTORCYCLES, CARS, BOATS, UNDER COUNTER, UNDER BARS, IN RESTAURANTS and HOMES , GOLF CARTS, BICYCLES…THERE IS REALLY NO AREA WE CANNOT INSTALL L.E.D LIGHTS!!! We carry FUSION, RGB (changing colors), solid colors, lights that can bend over 90 degree angles, etc. We are always upgrading and keeping up with the industry’s growth. What makes you different from most shops? CUSTOMER SERVICE! I PROMISE TO RETURN EVERY CALL! Many motorcyclists have had lights installed on their bike only to find out later that if they want to get a hold of the company that did the install, they can’t. Either their call is ignored or even worse, the company is out of business.
Describe yourself in 3 words…FUN GUY, straight shooter, very honest, helpful, and I LOVE to cook! (That’s 5!) Three things you love? FAMILY, FOOD, WINE and COFFEE (That’s 4!) Three things you dis-like? I do not like it when people treat other people with disrespect. I do not like dishonesty, and I do not like to do extra unnecessary work (it does happen sometimes although). What is the future of motorcycle industry? The future? It’s TREMENDOUS! It’s just growing more and more. More women are getting into motorcycle riding! What is your greatest achievement? Building my own restaurant in NYC when I was only 23!
What is the best way to reach you? Phone 941-720-5323 or Facebook or website: www.lightupmybike.com Or e-mail: lightupmybike@gmail.com
What are your biggest regrets? Not going to school for cooking. I have all the hands on experience and knowledge without the culinary school education.
Have you been in other magazines? Advertising, yes. Being interviewed, no. Not in the business of L.E.D. lighting; but while in the restaurant business, I appeared on Good Day Tampa Bay and prepared appetizers live.
What was your first bike? Honda VTX 1300.
What made you interested in motorcycles? Friends! We all purchased scooters. I rode a 125cc scooter. I rode that for a while. Then I got a 400cc Bergman scooter… and then it was just a natural progression into motorcycles! Tell me about your family? My wife, Peejay (who helps me when I need it and vice/versa)! She owns BEVERLY HILLS DOGGY DAYCARE & GROOMING. 941-822-0888 www.beverlyhillsdog.net 2030 Bispham Rd. Sarasota 34231 When I’m not here at Light up My Bike, I’m over there helping her in any way I can (most recently installing L.E.D lights on the outside of the building, maintenance, or whatever she needs me to do)! I have a son, Daniel (Instructional Systems) and a daughter, Diana (Industrial Engineer for the Navy) and 3 (almost 4) grandsons - Izak, Diego and Alex. The 4th is due any day now! They live in Orlando. Who inspires you the most? Myself! I grew up in a business-related environment. I’m self -motivated. I owned my own restaurant when I was only 23 in NYC! It was right near the World Trade
You really have a different type of business than most shops…explain why? Again CUSTOMER SERVICE IS #1! The #2 is we work by appointments, we accommodate to your schedule. So we aren’t rushed with the install, we can give your “toy” the special attention it deserves! We do CUSTOM WORK. We are open on Saturdays if that’s the only time you can get here.
What is your overall favorite bike? I have not test rode every bike! I currently ride a Harley Ultra Classic (great bike!). My Honda VTX1300 was a great bike also! So, yet to be determined… When I started installing L.E.D Lights (with a friend), we committed that we would only install …The right way not the sloppy way. We see a lot of sloppy installs out there. I believe it is also important to listen tentatively to your customers. Listen to what and where they want to light up NOT just do a cookie cutter light install. We take pride in our work and will “fix” any issues even if it isn’t under warranty! We go beyond good customer service. What made you think of the name of the business? We thought of the phrase LIGHT IT UP, so LIGHT UP MY BIKE became the name of the company! I still like it, it’s catchy! It is a known name in our local area! Tell me about your background in lighting? I was always very handy. I always had my hands into fixing anything and electronics fascinated me. It comes as a second nature to me! Where are you from? I am Israeli and Italian, I grew up in NYC.
If you were starting over right now, what would you do differently? I would start with a bigger shop! Anything else you’d like to say? L.E.D lights installed on your motorcycle do two things: SHOW AND SAFETY #1 SHOW - L.E.D lights make that chrome stand out and gives it that extra attention at bike nights. # 2 SAFETY IS MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL BE SEEN when riding At NIGHT! COME ON OUT TO LIGHT UP MY BIKE’s LIGHT NIGHT! They are going to have a CUSTOMER APPRECIATION “LIGHT NIGHT” bike night on Saturday, November 29, 2014 6-9pm Jack (being a former chef ) will cook! Come try out his dishes along with coffee & cappuccino! There will be music and free raffles too! Also a People’s Choice L.E.D.lighted bike show!
What are your future plans? I would like to combine this lighting business LIGHT UP MY BIKE with a coffee shop on premises!
*If you are looking for a special place for your pets grooming or doggy daycare, try out Jack’s wife’s business BEVERLY HILLS DOG, Sarasota 941-822-0888.
Can you do warranty work? We can do warranty work on the L.E.D lights that we installed. NOT manufacturer motorcycle warranty or any mechanical work on bikes.
