First off, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Eat lots of great food and surround yourself with family and friends! And remember those people who have nothing and welcome them in. Don’t forget about the Fran Haasch Food drive for FEAST Food Pantry in Palm Harbor on Friday November 8th at their offices in Palm Harbor. Last year we unloaded so much food it took us a solid three hours filling the place and that was with 30 people helping! I also remember seeing dog and cat food, I thought, of course they need food also! The Full Throttle Staff will be there all day helping load the trucks full of food and we hope to see you there also! The Full Throttle 23rd Anniversary Party this year will be held at NEW PORT RICHEY HARLEY-DAVIDSON! Sunday November 10th from 12noon till 5pm! We will have a bike show, slow race for a cash prize, weenie bite and a $500 bikini contest!!!! We will also be giving away $2,300 in cash all day long! WHY!??!! Because that’s what we do!!!! We will be giving away $100 for every year we have been in business and it is 100% FREE to enter! All you must do is fill out a form with your name number and email address! We will add your address to our event email blast to help keep you informed on all the great events happening around the state of Florida! We are pulling 5 (five) $100 winners at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. at 5pm we will pull one winner who will win $300! YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!!!! We are heavily into booking the Florida Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational Feb 5th – 9th 2020. We will be doing a huge live streaming video on November 15th releasing the 3 National bands playing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the Expo. Let’s just say these are bands you would not expect, as they normally play in huge amphitheaters or stadiums! To see these bands we are bringing in for only $25 each day or $50 for a three day pass is cheaper than going to see them individually! Tickets will be on sale starting November 15th on Eventbrite and you can purchase single day tickets, the three-day pass or VIP which includes food and beer for those three days! The three-day pass for $50 also includes a refillable souvenir beer mug and a Full Throttle shirt while supplies last! This is the first year we are charging to get into the Expo, but we still also have a free day for you to come if you are not interested in the bands. Sunday Feb 9th is a free day to come and enjoy the Expo, see the vendors and bikes in the bike builder invitational and maybe enter your bike in our ride in bike show! We are still looking for sponsors and vendors so feel free to call us at 727-935-4875 and talk to Shawn if you are a vendor or Les if you are interested in sponsorship! St. Pete Beach Bike Fest is here!!!! This year they are changing a few things up like the vendors will all be over at Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson, and all the national bands will be playing on the beach at the Tradewinds like the heave the past two years. This only being the third year of St. Pete Beach Bike Fest a=has grown by leaps and bounds already! Their band line up this year is awesome with FUEL and SOUL ASYLUM, THE CHARLIUE DANIELS BAND AND BRET MICHAELS!!!! Besides that, they also have Tantric, Saving Able, Saliva and Moonshine Bandits on a secondary stage! That’s one hell of a line up!!!!! Full Throttle is super excited to be involved with this great event! We will also be putting on a bike show on Sunday November 20th at Bert’s Barracuda Harley! Happy birthday to Jake and Izzy, and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who reads this! Be safe, be smart, don’t drink and ride and I’ll see you soon!

Who killed the golden goose? I just got back from Daytona Biketoberfest 2019 and I must say, the rally was quite a disappointment. I’ve been going to Bike week and Biketoberfest in Daytona for over 20 years and I can remember what these rallies were like from 1998 to about 2009. Attendance during those years at Bike week were as high at 750K and around 250K for Biketoberfest. Granted, the recession of 2009 put a big hurt on motorcycle sales, caused many thousands of bikes to be repossessed and many thousands more to be sold at fire sale prices. However, those weren’t the only reasons for the huge declines in rally attendees. In my opinion, one of the things that also was and is a big factor, the gouging that went on at Daytona and the surrounding areas hotels and motels. Rooms that would normally cost fifty to one hundred bucks a night were jacked up to two to four hundred a night with five to eight-night minimums. One would think that as attendance started dropping and rooms went empty that prices would drop as well. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I can also remember when Ridgewood Avenue (US 1), was filled with vendors from South Daytona all the way to Ormond Beach on both sides of the street. The greedy cities and towns started jacking up permit prices so high, the vendors couldn’t make a profit until the last two days of the event, and that was only if it didn’t rain. Then, these cities and towns decided they would ban all street parking on Ridgewood Avenue. That was the final nail in the coffin for all these vendors. City officials stated the ban on parking was due to full time residents complaints of the noise and heavy traffic. The problem, now these cities and towns were out millions of dollars they were earning from the licenses, permits, and taxes they had been collecting. So, what did they do? They raised property taxes 25% to make up for their loss. Be careful what you ask for, as the saying goes. While I see the residents point on the noise and traffic, Bike week in Daytona had been going on for 78 years and has Spring Break. You move to this area and you weren’t aware of this? What else killed the golden goose? Yes, there’s more. The vendor spaces at the main rally points like Main Street, the Speedway, and Destination Daytona were so high, vendors could no longer afford them. I can remember just a couple of years ago, the Speedway was jammed with vendors and customers. Every single motorcycle manufacturer came to the Speedway both for Bike week and Biketoberfest. These demo rides were a huge draw. I was shocked this year to see not a single manufacturer showed up at the Speedway for demo rides. To be sure, I don’t know if the bike manufacturers paid for their space at the Speedway. It’s possible they did not. But, since they were responsible for drawing the big crowds to the speedway, thus, drawing more vendors, the Speedway should pay them to come to the event, instead of the other way around. A few years ago, the Speedway remodeled the open areas and they are now five times the size and able to fit hundreds of more vendors and customers. Unfortunately, without the big draw of the demo rides, very few vendors or customers were at the Speedway. It looked more like a local bike night than a major rally. So, why don’t the manufacturers come to Biketoberfest? I’d have to assume the cost was too great to move dozens of new bikes to the area, then pay a high price for the space to make it worthwhile for them. So, you either lower prices all around from hotels to vendor spaces to fit the market, make less money, or you shut down the event and make no money. Sounds simple to me. Welcome to the Back Yard. Hope everyone survived Cottee River and Daytona Biketoberfest. Little rain in Daytona didn’t even slow us down, oh except for our Speedway Bike show but have no fear we will have that bad boy at bike week, so we just postponed it a few months. November is a great biker’s month. This month is the St. Pete Beach Bike Fest at two locations this year, Bert’s Barracuda HarleyDavidson at the brand-new location across from Quaker steak and Lube and out at Tradewinds Resort. Check out the great band line ups at both locations it’s going to be a great weekend. At

42

Bert’s Harley location we kick it off with Jasmine Cain on the Wednesday Bike Night. then on Thursday its Jezabelle and Carnival of Crue, Friday it’s Disaster Peace and Buxton, Friday its China Grove and Sunday it’s Jeff Vitolo and Den of Thieves. Then at Tradewinds it’s Fuel, Charlie Daniels Band and Bret Michaels. Then Mark your calendar for December first for the annual Bert’s Toy run. WOW Christmas is right around the corner. Well that’s it from the Back Yard. Ride safe and remember Always Keep Your Stick on The ice.... MONGO

I want to talk a little bit about just how great it is to work for Full Throttle. We are all such a tight nit family. Great friends along with hardest working bunch of guys in the business. We just came off Biketoberfest. What a time we had! 4 days of none stop mayhem. Bike shows, Sound

Competition's, some great riding along with a late-night swim. I know I am already looking forward to Bike Week in March. Just wait till you see what we have planned for that. It's going to be off the chart. Yes, riding season is finally here! It means only one thing; Full Throttle is going to put on some of the biggest events anybody has ever seen. Stay tuned for a bunch of upcoming details.

November is a month for honoring our military service members. As we all know Veteran’s day is celebrated on 11 November 2019. We here at Full Throttle take so much pride not only on this day, but every day as the vast majority of our staff is Veterans. Our Nation, our State, our Community, and each one of us here at Full Throttle proudly stand for those who are, active duty, reservists, prior military, and retirees. Giving to those who have stood before us, and those who will continue to serve after us is a very important part of who we are as a business. To each and every one of you out there we here at Full Throttle “Salute you!” ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Charlie joined the Army in 1986. I left for basic training in November of that same year at Fort Jackson SC. Basic was a rarity as we did 4 weeks then we broke camp and was sent home for 2 weeks for Christmas and New Years before return January 2nd. So I really had to do basic training in two segments. Upon completion of basic I was bussed to Fort Lee Virginia for my AIT. There I studied to become a Material and Accounting Specialist (76P) and then remained at Fort Lee for my duty station. Fort Lee is located just south of Richmond VA in the town of Petersburg. Great little city and we was located right across from where the Civil War battle of Petersburg took place so got to visit the site many time and learn military tactics form way back when. In 1988 I was offered the opportunity to expand my training so I went to Fort Chaffee Arkansas to study to get my Administrative specialist training. Once completed the best way I can explain my job was “I was Sparky form the show M*A*S*H.” Two things was really special to me being at Fort Chaffee and the Joint Readiness Training Center was It was where the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley was inducted and received his now famous haircut there. I had my haircut there several times also. It’s now a museum on the old post. My father also did a two-week training there when he was in the Louisiana Army National Guard in 1977 (The week when Elvis pasted away in fact) so it was so wonderful to have served at the same post where my father had also served. In December of 1989 I reported down to Panama with the advanced party where we setup the Headquarters element. I was assigned to an engineer group to which was one of the few units that had as many officers as enlistees. My insignia on my shoulder was the famous castle. I returned back to states in January of 1990. My service ended in 1990 and the rank of E-4. During that time the U.S. was building up for what was then Desert Shield, later to become Desert Storm in 1991. I was on inactive ready reserve (IRR) and was called to MEPS in Shreveport LA but was never recalled to active duty.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My name is Eric Rosen and I joined the Ohio Army National Guard in 2006. After enlisting I attended basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Upon completion of basic training I was transferred to Fort Gordon, Georgia. While at Fort Gordon I was trained as a 25U, signal support, communications. After I graduated from my MOS schooling I returned home to Ohio where I was attached to a Medical Company where I served as a member of their communications team. As a member of the Ohio Army National Guard our unit prepared for deployment of Iraq. While our unit did not deploy during my time with the unit, we still trained and prepared for the time we were called up. I am proud to have served my country! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi my name is Les Tolliver. I joined the army in 1996 in hopes to better my self and be a part of something. I went in as a 62 Bravo light wheeled vehicle mechanic. The military taught me a trade that I still use today. I spent 6 years active duty that turned out to be the best 6 years of my life at the time. It taught me to be a man and do what’s right. My son is actively serving as well. He just finished AIT to become military intelligence. I can't say too much. While my time in was peace time with nothing going on we was still always ready for anything. Be prepared they say. Which I still use today! I spent most of my time state side from Ft. Knox, Kentucky, to Ft. Leonard Wood, MS, AKA “Ft Lost in the Woods”. For those of you that know this base will understand. LOL. I made E-5 (SGT) status pretty quick. The only problem was driving around in a humvee when you weren’t supposed to is kind of frowned upon. Back to E-4 (SPC) I went. When it was time to re-enlist I wanted to go to Germany. The Army denied my request. That's when I decided I had to go. I wasn't staying at Ft. Leonard Wood any longer.

Hello from ERrock’s World! As we go through this month, I would like each and every one of you to take a moment to pray, or just to take a moment of silence for all of our fallen riders. We want each family to know that we stand behind them as they go through the hard times. October has been a rough time for riders going down. We would like everyone to ride safe and look out for one another. Now that we are moving into November we have our anniversary party on 10 November 2019. We would love to see everyone there. We have all kinds of things going on like a slow
