Hello and welcome to the November issue of Full Throttle Magazine & Multi-media. You will see we are making major changes coming up in this month’s issue starting January 1st 2024. Full Throttle Magazine and Multi-Media are going completely digital. You will be able to read our monthly magazine 100% FREE online on our website. We will still be producing a monthly magazine but instead of picking up a printed issue you will be able to read it online only for FREE. Our advertising prices will be much more reasonable, and all ads will be posted on our social media pages and each ad will have the opportunity to do a pod cast or video podcast with us that we will host on all our media platforms. This is going to be a major change for us here at Full Throttle as we have always printed a magazine and had that to hand out at bike nights and events. Now, if we are set up at an event, we will have our pod cast and video podcast equipment up and we will be interviewing people and creating content. Besides all that we will be hosting a weekly video podcast show promoting everything motorcycle happening around the state of Florida and beyond. We will be traveling more and recording great footage of bikes, babes, burnout, bands, and bike shows and everything you want to see. If you have an event coming up we will want to sit down with you and discuss everything about that event like where is the money going, what charities are involved, who is sponsoring the event, if it is a poker run or ride what are the stops for that ride. Our new goal with Full Throttle Multi-Media and Full ThrottleVision will be to bring you all the video content, pictures, and media you want to know for FREE. We have over 157,000 likes on our Facebook page at this time and almost 4,ooo on Instagram. We have a great email blast with over 10,000 subscribers and a growing YouTube page. We understand that the world is changing, and we must change with it to be in the forefront of technology and the ability to get you,

the motorcycle enthusiast, great content to view and the information you are looking for. Yes, we will miss the printed copy as well and I know a lot of people are going to say they love sitting down with a magazine and reading it and flipping through the pages, but times are changing, and this will be the new way to read the magazine at your fingertips by looking at it on your phone are on your computer. Our new pricing will be much more affordable and will get you more results. The possibility of someone seeing your ad in our FREE digital magazine online rather than a printed copy of the magazine is almost 100% better. We are looking forward to this new change starting in 2024 and we hope you will also. November 5th is Full Throttle Magazine’s 27th Anniversary party and this year it will be at KRATE At the Grove in Wesley Chapel! This place is awesome as it has so many different stores and places to eat that you have many options to choose from. They have a great party area and stage for the bands and a DJ. We will host a big bike show with $250 cash prize for Best in Show, we are bringing out our newest toy “The Money Machine” and just recently announced, we will have the Coyote Ugly girls there performing their dances for everyone! The event runs from 11am till 6pm and is sponsored by The Fran Haasch Law Group. We will also have raffle baskets and a 50/50 and random door prizes. Come out for a fun day and a celebration for 27 years of Full Throttle in the motorcycle community! One of the biggest food drives is happening this month! The 15th Annual Fran Haasch Food Drive is happening at their offices on November 10th. All the food and donations collected go to the local food bank (F.E.A.S.T. Food Pantry) and then when they are full the food goes to other surrounding Food Banks in the area. Fran herself and Her Husband Rhett and their children will personally be out there collecting the food as they do every year! The collection happens all day from 12noon till 6pm and they usually have a great catered lunch for everyone who comes by and brings a donation. We are excited also this month about St. Pete Bike Fest happening at OCC Roadhouse and Bert’s Barracuda HarleyDavidson. Full Throttle will be hosting a 12-class bike show on Friday November 17th with registration from 2pm till 5pm and awards at 6pm. The bands look great this year and there will be a ton of vendors! The entire event runs from 16th thru the 19th. Tickets are also on sale now for the headline acts at www.saintpetebikefest.com

In the world of entertainment, there are some brands that not only leave a lasting impression but there are those which also redefine the way we experience a night out. One such brand that has achieved this feat is the iconic “Coyote Ugly Saloon”, a chain of saloonbars known for their electrifying atmosphere and incredible success story. Joanna Olsen, whose passion and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the Coyote Ugly empire into what it is today gave me some of her valuable time and shared her journey. As I sat there having lunch with her in the posh Paddock-1 garage in Tampa Bay ( www.paddock-1.com ), it did not take me long to appreciate her uncompromising passion to live her life well, fully and, freely. At first glance, Joanna stands tall. Like a tower. Solid, with walls, robust personality, she manifests a shield of energy one can only enter by permission. I am thankful for the privilege of seeing a bit of this adventurously and creative soul. Joanna has earned every bit of freedom she now enjoys. That is with absolute devotion to her corporate objectives from her early 20s. She is a tower yes, but you soon start seeing she is a tower with a heart and a soul. She favors mystical Ducati superbikes but insists she also has a soft spot for classic custom choppers. Be advised this bachelorette is a “SIGMA” female. If you don’t quite know what that is, you can google it or, read my feature The SIGMA Male “Dare To Be” | No Strings Attached ENews (nsaen.com) Her days start at 7:30am. Chuckling, she calls herself a “glorified property manager”. AC broke? She is on it… That includes all her Coyote Ugly locations and, her commercial and residential real estate investments. This accomplished multidisciplinary entrepreneur born in Brooklyn, NY made a point to clearly state
28
“Success is not money and stuff! Success is hard work resulting in freedom. All my life I worked towards that. Freedom.” Raised in the 80s by middle class parents, eldest of two girls, her dad was a veteran and a professional in the banking world. Tears welling up, she reminisced about the beauty and closeness of her relationship with him. Sadly, her dad left this world days before we met. Out of respect I just did not have it in me to ask more questions about him. Her mom was a dedicated mama and worked in an accounting firm fully supportive of all of Joanna’s aspirations. Joanna is rightfully a complex mind in constant overdrive. She is fully present on task and her mind is with you but simultaneously multitasking about other matters. She does that artfully, respectfully and masterfully. She seeks balance of perspectives. I will tell you, she does not kneel for the national anthem. She is fiscally conservative and socially more centered. Joanna supports many charities. One dear to her heart is “Thorn Ministries” of Tampa Bay ( www.thornministries.net ). Thorn Ministries which for the past 20 years has provided nourishment and shown unwavering compassion to hundreds of thousands of homeless individuals in the Tampa area. Another one is Anchorage Children’s Home ( www.anchoragechildrenshome.org ) a non-profit organization that serves, protects, and strengthens children, families, and communities in Panama City, Florida. Motherhood? That’s a topic which even her apparent perceived stoic composure cannot conceal
deep felt emotions. Taking a deep breath she says “Choose as soon as you can”. “You can do both. I have close friends who did it but being the best mom and being best in business as well is a heck of a tall order” she says. “Feminism is tricky now. I am more about the empowerment of women”. Her actions prove that quite clearly too. All her businesses provide a path for her employees to fast-track their careers with scholarships and room to grow professionally. 25 years as a successful business-woman taught her these lessons and a few more. Victories, defeats, betrayals … it all comes with the package. Her greatest lesson? Follow your guts and instincts! Her dedication to empowering women within the company and beyond is evident. Coyote Ugly has become a platform for women to showcase their talents, develop their skills, and rise through the ranks. Many former Coyotes have gone on to pursue successful careers in various fields, thanks in part to the confidence and resilience they gained during their time at the saloon. Joanna's commitment to female empowerment extends beyond the walls of the saloon. She has been involved in numerous philanthropic efforts, supporting organizations that empower and uplift women in need. Her advocacy for opportunities for women is a testament to her character and the values that drive Coyote Ugly as a brand. This “SIGMA Coyote” who happens to be a Buck’s fan now entertains herself by managing her businesses. Work is play! She is learning to fly helicopters. She extended an invitation, and I might take her up on that! She is an avid reader. Her favorites; Atlas Shrug (one of my favs too), Star Shine Down and, anything biographical. Right now, she is reading Eleanor Rosevelt’s bio. The Coyote Ugly phenomenon began in 1993 when CEO Liliana Lovell opened the first Coyote Ugly Saloon in New York City. The mere mention of “Coyote Ugly” should bring about a myriad of nostalgic emotions. They even made a movie about it. It is worth watching and, I am told there could be a remake in the works. The concept was simple but groundbreaking – a bar staffed by talented and charismatic female bartenders who not only served drinks but also put on a high-energy show, dancing choreographically on the bar and encouraging patrons to join in the fun. The "Coyotes," as they are affectionately known, are not just bartenders; they are entertainers who bring the party to life. It's an experience that transcends the typical night out and leaves a lasting impression. This unique blend of entertainment and socializing quickly captivated audiences and turned Coyote Ugly into a sensation. What sets Coyote Ugly apart is not just its signature drinks; it's the electrifying experience that patrons can expect from the moment they step inside. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're greeted with an atmosphere of unbridled energy, friendly staff, and the promise of a memorable night out. Joanna entered the picture in 2000. By then she already owned the Paradox night club in Atlanta GA. Little did she know that this decision would change her life forever. Joanna's infectious enthusiasm, coupled with her strong work ethic and charisma, soon caught the attention of Liliana Lovell. Recognizing Joanna's potential, she accepted Joanna’s offer to open a location in Atlanta, GA. Coyote Ugly expanded rapidly and Joanna opened new locations in South-East, USA. This expansion was not without its challenges, but Joanna's unwavering commitment to
maintaining the authenticity and spirit of the original Coyote Ugly experience ensured that each new location captured the essence of the brand. What makes Joanna's leadership remarkable is her ability to adapt and innovate while staying true to the brand's core values. She recognized the changing landscape of the entertainment industry and made strategic decisions to keep Coyote Ugly relevant and exciting. From incorporating live music, DJs, to introducing themed nights and events, Coyote Ugly continues to evolve while remaining faithful to its roots. Coyote Ugly isn't just a chain of bars; it's a cultural phenomenon that has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. It has inspired countless imitators, but none have captured the essence and authenticity of the original like Coyote Ugly itself. You can’t wing, tilt or hoot that! The brand's impact goes beyond the entertainment industry. It has become a symbol of empowerment, resilience, and the pursuit of one's dreams. Joanna's journey serves as a source of inspiration for countless individuals who aspire to break barriers and achieve their goals. Joanna broke the glass ceiling … with a loud bang … more than once. Joanna's leadership philosophy can be summed up in the ingredients that have made Coyote Ugly a roaring success: Passion, Innovation, Empowerment, Authenticity. In the world of entertainment, few brands have achieved the iconic status and lasting impact of Coyote Ugly. Joanna’s teams and, especially all her colleagues she insists, are a testament to the power of passion, innovation, and empowerment. Coyote Ugly Saloons continue to light up the night with their unique blend of entertainment and camaraderie. Joanna's leadership ensures that the flame of this extraordinary brand will continue to burn brightly for years to come. As patrons, we can be grateful for the unforgettable nights, the incredible staff, and the vibrant atmosphere that Coyote Ugly provides. As aspiring leaders, we can look to Joanna's remarkable journey as a source of inspiration, reminding us that with dedication and authenticity, anything is possible. Coyote Ugly isn't just a brand; it's a legend, and it's a legend that continues to thrive under a visionary leadership.

It's almost Christmas, and it is my boss Tony's favorite holiday! And every year I try to share in his magic a little, but I'm not a fan of Christmas parties and overextended debt so most years I take a cruise for Christmas ( I get free unlimited cruises ,don't ask thats a long story haha). I skip the tree and presents, but my kids are still double dipping there, I believe . So i've stayed home and done it Tony's way for the last several years he's even had to lend me lights and a tree because I am too cheap to buy that, I feel like I am one year away from bagging this tradition again and hitting the Caribbean from deck 14. But since I've been home for Christmas, I've quietly done an "adopt a family" drive for the last 4 years and talk about playing Santa. Wow ! I've gotten to deliver most of these gifts to families Christmas Eve, and it's humbling, to say the least. I've picked kids who's parents are so far gone with thier own drug issues there's absolutely no Christmas coming and I am able
48
to show up with a tree and presents at 10pm Dec 24th thanks to the wonderful people who adopt the families and help make this happen. It's sad and wonderful all at the same time, it's what's been right with my holidays though! It's grassroots. I started because I saw a family who needed someone to step in for the kids, and I had to act, I encourage all of you to try this with one family anonymously. You can change the path of a kid by showing them they matter to someone. I've seen this firsthand and as a kid myself . Thank god for bikers, though! The toy runs, parties for orphans, and food drives are another epic distraction I've needed and am looking forward to. I'm not sure if we'll have a Full Throttle Christmas party this year since Tony's home burned up, but we'll see you out there at everything else for sure ! Please keep your alcohol consumption in check, bartenders too ! AAA, tow to go, Uber , lyft, Mototow , do anything, but please don't drink and drive ! Happy Thanksgiving if we're still allowed to say that, too ! I hope the holidays bring you with people you love! Peace and love to my Biker world, Laurie Jo
