ON THE COVER HOGTOBERFEST AT ORLANDO HARLEY-DAVIDSON 3 DAYS, 7BANDS ONE KICK ASS WEEKEND

Wow, I cannot believe we are already in the month of October! Seems like this year is flying by! I know one thing, I am ready for some cooler weather and a little rain than this summer has given us! September was a busy month for us here at Full Throttle and October is planning to be even busier! We love all the great events happening around the area and we would like to come to yours! If you have space for us please let us know and we can come out and set up and hand out all the goodies we always have on our table. October is always exciting as we are starting to enter into the holiday season. But first, we have some great events happening before we get to Halloween!!! On October 9th - 11th is the Annual Cotee River Bike Fest in Sims Park in Downtown New Port Richey. We have tons of vendors, food trucks, beer and wine with a permit to walk around the city with your cups, a stunt show, ACW live pro wrestling, Full Throttle Bike Shows on Sat & Sun, the Harley-Davidson demo truck, a dukes and dudes contest, a bikini contest, the Full throttle and Fran Haasch custom motorcycle unveil on Friday night, the best bands in the area and yes, much much more!!!!! It's going to be an amazing weekend! We hope to see you all there! For more info visit www.coteeriverbikefest.org The second weekend in October is of course BIKETOBERFEST!!! Full Throttle will be hosting (3) THREE bike shows this year in Daytona. The first show is on Thursday Oct 15 at the Coke Pavilion at Destination Daytona HarleyDavidson. Our Second show is always a fan favorite, the Boardwalk Bike Show down at the end of main street on the boardwalk on Friday Oct 16th. Our third show is something new, we have a ride in show at the Daytona International Speedway on Saturday Oct 17th. please look in the magazine for all the great info on all these events or call us at 727-935-4875 with any questions. Wednesday October 28th, Full Throttle and Quaker Steak and Lube will be hosting our "Wear Pink Like a Man" breast cancer pink beard and hair coloring event at bike night. The bearded Brothers will be rocking bike night and they will be sporting the pink beards all night long as well. On this bike night, we bring in a professional to dye (it washes out) our beards and hair pink for ANY donation you would like to give. If all you have is change in your pocket, throw it in the bucket and come get your beard or hair colored pink. But any donation of $20 or more will be given a PINK one of a kind, Full Throttle Shirt. Last year we raised over $1,400 in a few hours and split it between two people who were fighting different forms of cancer. We would like to see if we can hit that $2,000 mark this year and be able to make a few people who are fighting their cancer a little happier and let them know we care. I love doing events like this as I know it goes in their hands and they can do what they want with the money, no matter what that is, pay bills, buy groceries, go out to eat or take a vacation.... they deserve to be happy and we can try and help them be happy! We are already planning our big Florida Motorcycle Expo and Bike Builder Invitational that happens at Quaker Steak and Lube January 22nd - 24th 2016. We have the best bands in the area playing including LITA FORD on Saturday night with the Metal Band. The $20,000 Bike Builder Invitational, tons of vendors, fireworks, bikini contest, burlesque show, magic show and much more! If you are interested in being a vendors, sponsor, having a bike in the show or just want info, please call us at 727935-4875 or visit our website at FloridaFullThrottle.com Have a great month of October! We would like to wish everyone with a birthday this month a happy birthday including Alfred Swetay "DEW" and Brian York from The Law Office of Fran Haasch. have a great month and be safe, look out for your fellow biker and don't drink and ride and I'll see you soon! STRAWBERRIES MY LOVE XOXO

To kick off my monthly column with Full Throttle, I thought it would be great to use an example of someone I have helped over the years. The following story really touches my heart with a client and fellow rider I met about a year ago. I have changed his name and some of the numbers of the principal to protect our client but it is a very real client and I see this over and over again. John came to me about a year ago and after our meeting I asked him to go home and gather anything that related to his financial situation and we would look at it on our next meeting. At the very minimum I would help him understand what risk he might be facing including not earning anything on his money or outliving what he had. At our next meeting John told me that he had inherited some money and it was all still in the accounts he had inherited from his family. He was living only on his social security and was barely getting by. When he did need money he took some from one of the accounts he inherited. He brought stacks of his statements to me that he did not understand, nor did he want to. He was retired and just wanted to be riding his motorcycle or kayaking. John was very young for a 70 year old and just venturing out to meet his friends whenever he could afford to. I looked at John’s accounts that he thought he had about $350,000.00 in and quickly realized he really had about $850,000.00 at the current market value of his investments. Most of his parent’s money had been invested in the stock and bond markets and over the years had grown significantly. He was not aware as most people are not, as to how to read and value the information on his statements from the many different firms and banks. The other thing that jumped off the page was the risk he was taking in the type of investments that they were in and like most, the interest accumulating was very little. He also did not have a will, power of attorney or health care power of attorney so his family would have had a very difficult time in helping him if he needed it or if something happened to him. I also knew that we were in a cycle of the markets

26

that would probably create a great loss for him in the types of accounts he was holding if we should have a downturn in the economy. The other thing the jumped completely off the page was the enormous loss of income this man was losing. So I sat John down and we discussed his affairs and I explained in detail what he currently owned and how it worked. He had 10 different accounts. I explained the risk associated with the types of accounts he had and that since he was now retired he needed to consider locking in the gains and securing his principal. Last, I explained to John he would have only one account and that account would give him an income of over 5% for the rest of his life and pass directly to his beneficiaries at his death. I also explained he could decide how he could also name some of his beloved charities he wanted to receive monies at the end of his life. We also sent him to an attorney to have his will made and a power of attorney drafted in the event he needed it and guided him on how to make those decisions. After about a month, I called him back in to my office. I explained that he no longer had to worry about the markets or money. I told him that he would be getting a monthly check and he didn't have to exhaust his principal to achieve this. John was so very happy. He had one account, one person to call with questions and never dreamed that he could get that much income or that he could secure his principal. All of his affairs were now in order and he had a will, a power of attorney and peace of mind. I continue to get phone calls emails and little visits from John saying he was enjoying life so much more now. He would tell me of visits he could now take to visit his grandchildren and that when his daughter came to visit he took them all to Disneyworld or that he could go buy the seafood he loved or go out to eat whenever he wanted with his friends. This is what makes everything I do and all 30 + years in this business worthwhile.. Thank you John for also giving me the gift of knowing we changed a wonderful person’s life and touched your family in so very many ways. If you have a question you would like to ask me, never hesitate to call, no questions will go unanswered and all questions you have are important. See you next month… Michelle

Hello again Michelle Osborne here. I have worked as a financial advisor over the years helping people achieve greater income to fulfill their dreams. I’ve had clients have come to me confused and lost, not knowing where their money is or what it is earning. I’ve been able to simplify their financial picture and give them more income. Most people do not realize the risks in the markets or low paying instruments such as bank CD’s. Even with savings accounts you are losing money everyday. If you’ve been using savings, investments or retirement accounts to live off or make major purchases we need to talk. I have been able to show people the use of leverage to increase their income. Most people are unaware of their options and what’s available to make their lives easier. You’ve worked too hard to earn what you have. Let me show you how to make the most of your money. Invest Safe / Ride Safe!

Warning us bikers need to be on the lookout .Tell everybody you know, To watch out for the new school buses. The driver has a toggle switch by the left side window that opens and closes the doors of bus. The driver has to turn his head to the left to use the switch to open doors at Stop, then they pull away and look left again back at the switch. By then they have dragged a child down the street. Not like the old school buses where you had a handle that closed and opened the doors. The handle faced the doors on the right. No looking left. The doors should operate like an elevator door. When a kids back pack gets caught in the door it opens automatically. Now that would be a great safety feature. We need to protect our kids. They will be our future bikers and Presidents Maybe. Hey, maybe we can all call the school board and get this done, also doing Better back ground checks on these drivers would help. Like on the guy that just drove several kids off into a lake. The next time you see one of these new buses take a look at the driver as he or she rolls up to you. You will see that they are not looking for kids caught in the door. They flipping a switch when they

40

need to be focused on the safety of their passengers. These bus accidents are not always the fault of the driver. How about a better maintenance program. How many miles does it take to wear out a school bus ? I think that when you fail a driving test 6 times you are a FAILURE AT DRIVING OUR KIDS ANY WHERE. As Bikers we take care of children. More biker bus drivers. Well, Webster is coming up again in October. The absolute best once a month swap meet ever. Also Spooks and Scoots, The best Abate party ever. I hope to be at both events. Health allowing of course, I can't party like I used to. Come out and see me at Webster and hang out under the only shade tree there. Lots of Vendors and parts for your project. October is a great month for swap meet just Before bike week in Daytona. Come to Spooks and Scoots and meet Elvira. Both events are a social gathering of Good Friends and Bikers we only see at these places So come on out. Webster is October 4th Spooks and Scoots is October 9th 10th and 11th. See you soon Millie

One Night Stand, hardly. Once visiting Brandon's hottest new nightspot/ restaurant you will want to return time and time again. The full menu of homemade quality food is the backbone of this rustic eating establishment. Unique and flavorful recipes, including the 12 homemade sauces makes the menu explode. Love their food so much you want to share it with 20 your friends, at your house while you're wearing your underwear? They have catering for any occasion.

is plenty of room for you and your entourage inside or outside on any of their smoking friendly decks. And hey, happy hour Monday thru Friday 11am till 8pm and with the nightly drink specials you can have a good time without draining your wallet dry.

Upon arriving you get the feel of a cozy local bar yet once you explore you realize it is large enough to handle any size of events. Which their friendly staff is no stranger to. Hosting many charity events, poker runs and social gatherings. There

PS. no trip to the One Night Stand is complete without a MUSTACHE (their mechanical bull) RIDE!

Sports and entertainment are not forgotten about. There is live music Thursday Friday and Saturday on the outside stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. . Also, NFL Ticket can be seen on their many big screen TV's throughout the bar. The excitement continues on Saturdays with the FSU watch party, don't miss it. More of a competitor than a spectator, challenge your friends to a game of pool, darts or a four foot Jenga game. If that were not enough, for those of you who like to put your knees in the breeze they have bike night every Tuesday. It has been growing stronger every week and more improvements are on the way.

Hi All. Its that time again where I sit down to give you an update. Yes, you are right about last months Dew Drop Inn - it was not me!! It was Charley. I want to catch you up on August since you didn't get to read about it last month! We started the month off with a truck ride to Sturgis to put on 2 bike shows at the Buffalo Chip- Tony, Charlie and I drove for 38 hours to get there and spent a day sightseeing and then the 2 successful bike shows! We camped and the last night there it rained, Charlie and I found there were leaks in our tents so spent that last night sleeping in the truck. The ride home took around 35 or 36 hours and we were home Wednesday evening. That gave us just enough time to finish the work week out prepping and packing for the Ohio Bike Builder Invitational and Expo. Anne & I left Tuesday morning and took our time driving up spending the night mid way through TN and finishing off the drive the next day. Wednesday night we were at the Columbus, OH QSL bike night and handed out tons of flyers for the event. We spent Thursday and Friday setting up and Friday evening the event kicked off! For a first time event, I think it went pretty well. After tear down on Sunday we all went to dinner as a group, Thank you Tony & Tonya. Monday morning Anne & I started our vacation where we traveled through Kentucky along the Bourbon Trail - visiting distilleries and craft ones as well. We also visited an Alpaca Farm where we fed the alpacas and bought a pair of socks made from alpaca hair....so nice and soft! Got some Moon Pie Moonshine, some Bourbon Cream and even dipped a bottle in the wax at Makers Mark. Next stop was Nashville to visit an old friend at the Bourbon Street Boogie & Blues bar....then off to Alezaria & Camilo Jack Daniels for the last stop on the vacation. I have learned a lot about Carroll - Happy 1st bourbon and whiskey - but still prefer Birthday on Oct 11th my Captain and Dew. September was pretty quiet but with October here the rest was very much needed!! October brings Cotee River Bikefest - come out and see us and the same weekend there is Spooks 'n Scoots - you can even make it to both of them!! The next weekend we are off to Daytona for Biketoberfest - where we will be hosting 3 bike shows. The first one is at Destination Daytona on Thursday, Friday will be the Boardwalk Bike and Saturday we will be at the Daytona Speedway! If you enjoy camping come out and camp with us at Daytona Area's only All Adult Camping Party!! See the ad in the book for the number to contact and let them know Dew told you to call! Tell next mouth Live life to the Fullest and Party your A$$ off ..Dew

Hey EVERYWHERE EDDY here, to share some fond memories! Well needless to say when I awoke early on September 9th to see the news online about the massive fire that destroyed the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis SD, I like most of my biker friends who have been there and those who never got to experience the ‘Worlds Largest Biker Bar’ were in total disbelief! What a sad day for the Sturgis community and for one of the largest Motorcycle Rallies in the world! Only a few days after my return from the 75th Anniversary, now one of the iconic structures of that annual rally is gone…but not forgotten. It was a very sad day indeed and I only hope that Michael Ballard will be able to rebuild his famous Saloon, although it will never be the same for many of us. So this month I’m sharing some of my memories that I captured while in Sturgis the past few summers, I hope you enjoy them. Now that October is here you know what that means…Fall Rallies are ready to rock, Cotee River in New Port Richey, Biketoberfest in Daytona and Thunder Beach in Panama City Beach! I’ll be looking forward to seeing you at these three awesome events and as always… Keep Those Knees to the Breeze and Ride Safe!
