We have made two new events we hope you will get involved with. Our first event is on Halloween Day, October 31st. We here at Full Throttle are Tournament that is benefiting St. Joseph’s Children’s moving forward in many ways. We are working with Mica Hospital on December 5th. We are working with my dad, Neal and TBACs (Tampa Bay Area Cruisers) and have made Paul Cianci and Good Morning Clearwater 106.1fm to host FULL THROTTLE ADVENTURES. These will be all inclusive the first annual Full Throttle Christmas Golf Classic. The golf trips that include fun things to do with a great ride to tournament will be at Lansbrook Golf Club. We are looking them, mostly in the state of Florida. We have plans for for sponsors and raffle prizes and baskets. We have a lot of Hot Air Balloon Rides, Paintballing, go Cart Racing, diving fun golf games like longest marshmallow drive and closest with sharks, sky diving, zip lining, horse back ridding and to the pin. We are also looking for female caddy’s who so much more!!! Our first Adventure is this month, we are would like to help raise money for charity. We will have a going town to the Keys and going snorkeling along with caddy auction before the golf tournament where a portion a BBQ and great ride. At press time we already have about of the proceeds will go to the Hospital. This is a first for Full 20 people going on the trip. Well for the slow month September has been anything but around here ! We have so many great things in the works at Full Throttle and we would like to thank the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, Tradewinds Resort St Petersburg and Zoo Tampa. What do these things have in common and to do with Bikes? Stay tuned to our FB page in October ! I received so many calls about my inability to ride my bike from last month's column, thank you for the advice and encouragement. I decided it is time to get a trike and stop the cycle of battery charges and rust some of you are familiar with when a bike sits.I think I've kept it until I knew I could replace it too, which is like never in 2020 haha. I don't like change very much,but I have learned to adapt this year and embrace it .It's a little harder since every last date has changed and I’m dyslexic so that has been a real challenge but I'm making it. Maybe a week early and an hour late sometimes :) I want to Thank Mica Neal with TBAC’s for organizing and executing the “Back the Blue” poker run which earned over 17K for an officer who has a very sick baby needing heart surgery. Mica and TBAC’s have so many events that give back and some very cool ones like snorkeling in the keys and camping at the springs this month to name a few. I am also excited about WCFR new bike night at breeze 19 Port Richey Oct 1st and our newest Full Throttle member Dave Ashby is hosting this ! See Dave for all your advertising and bike nights up that way !

Well, the Fall season is here and that means cooler weather to get out and ride. October kicks off riding season in Florida and the big event is Daytona Biketoberfest. Full Throttle will be there with our Boardwalk ride in bike show, but this year it will be held at the pavilion at Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach. Come bike week we have full plans of return to the boardwalk. Also, October 3rd is the return of Plant City Bikefest at the 24
train Depot in Plant City. I get to emcee this great event with SMAKK Band. New hours of the event are 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Plenty of bike parking, venders and the shops in town stay open late. There will be a 10-class ride in bike show, and much more. Great news that here in Florida bars can reopen a 100% so if you want to add a bike night let us know. Florida is ready to get riding again. Affinities (plural noun): a spontaneous or natural liking or sympathy for someone or something; a similarity of characteristics suggesting a relationship, especially a resemblance in structure between animals, plants, or languages; relationship, especially by marriage as opposed to blood ties; the degree to which a substance tends to combine with another. You know that sweet bond when you are with someone dear to you? When nothing else matters? When you get lost in each other? When you abandon yourself in each other? When you are game for anything and everything because there is absolute mutual trust and respect … and chemistry of course! Let’s not forget about the power of chemistry. LOL Be it at 5mph or 100mph+ the state of mind you enter as a couple on a bike is so sweetly powerful I believe those who started the expression “Riding bitch” were simply aware and profoundly jealous of what they knew they could not have. When my girlfriend rides on the back of my bike going 80mph+, it’s pure magic. When I ride as a couple, I truly feel I am in a different dimension. A gateway for our souls to meet, touch and dance. Every ride as a couple is an infusion of peace to both hearts. Heck, when I divorced, I remember looking for opportunities to take passengers I barely knew just so I could experience that sensation again. If you are with someone who does not share your passion for riding, they will never understand, and you will most probably end up splitting. Oh, how many broken men have I met who “had to sell their ride” or whatnot because their other half no longer approved!!! I could read their pain on their faces. It is as if violence was done to the fabric of their being. A true biker will understand that. If however you are one of the lucky ones like me and you are with someone who loves or at least cares about riding, count your blessings my friend and make sure you nurture that. When she utters the words “let’s go ride”, I know we are in
a good place and beautiful moments are coming. When she holds you and signals her tender sentiments by a simple caress or a kiss on your neck. When she lets you grab her butt at a traffic light with an audience to shock behind. Simply put I adore those moments on two wheels with her and I pray God for a long life doing just that. I logged about 300 hours of combined counseling when I divorced. There was tons of homework and reading to do. No one forced me. It was my choice. I wanted to get to the bottom of my issues so I could have and offer a better future to a willing heart. I don’t care what some of you may think. It was worth it. One of the most important things I learned about was “affinities”. Yep, my counselor boldly declared “opposites attract yes because they initially feel then can complete each other. Truth is, when monotony of life happens, after a while they realize they don’t have much at all in common. That is usually a painful realization giving birth to the end of the relationship”. “Affinities” between two individuals is essentially common interests and passions they both have and share. It brings unity and binds hearts. If you talk with anyone who rides that has ridden as a couple on the same bike or on separate bikes, their faces lights-up when they talk about it. Usually words are hard to come up to describe it. The experience is like “cerebral tango”; a freaking hot, classy, elegant, bold, sexy, fearless and powerful dance between two souls. Reminds me of the movie “Scent of a Woman” with Al Pacino where he plays Lt Colonel Frank Slade, a blind and highly decorated military vet. As Lt Colonel Frank Slade said, “If you make a mistake and get all tangled up, you just tango on.” Ride on folks and happy tango!
