At press time, the Republican National Convention is in full swing here in Tampa Bay. Detours are set up on many roads, some schools are closed, traffic is heavy and police are in high-security mode. It is nice to see newscasts around the country are talking about Tampa Bay! Everybody who is anybody is in town either playing a concert, reporting the news, supporting their favorite candidate or protesting something! The RNC is just another way for the world to see that Tampa Bay is a major league city. August sure was a wet month ... it seemed like it rained almost everyday! I’m looking forward to those fantastic 79 degree days and 65 degree nights that will be upon us the next 60-90 days! You can keep those 92 degree scorchers ... it’s just too damn hot! I also like the Fall season because we get football. Now I realize that the Bucs will not come close to a winning season this year, but it’s still NFL football and we can all hope for a competitive team under new head coach Greg Schiano. QB Freeman looks good and new WR Vincent Jackson and rookie RB Doug Martin will help the offense. The question is our defense and time will tell if they can do the job! The USF Bulls should have another good season ... the FSU Seminoles are ranked in the top ten nationwide ... the Florida Gators will be hoping for a better season than last year and the UCF Knights will contend for the Conference USA title! Damn, I love football season! This month make sure to join the Full Throttle crew out and about at various events. If you are going to Biketoberfest, check out the hotels that we have lined up! They have good rates and we will even be resurrecting the "Let’s Get Crazy Party" that we used to do every Biketoberfest ... I can’t wait! Have a great September .... Go Bucs .... Go Rays (beat those damn Yankees and win the AL East Division) and be careful on the roadways!

Here we go! There are some great events popping up here in the next few months kicking out great riding season in to high gear a month earlier than normal. Usually, September is still the end of Summer here in Florida and a little slow with events still but this year there are a ton of great events happening in September that lead us right into October which begins the best time of the year to ride. First will be the always popular Peterson’s Key West Poker Run. Tonya and I did this ride last year and had the time of our lives. You should really plan this ride and put it on your personal calendar as it begins in Miami at either of the Peterson Harley-Davidsons (North and South) and you take a great scenic ride down US1 all the way to Key West as you stop at designated locations and get your poker card. This is a very hard poker run to “win” but it’s more about fun rather than winning the poker run. Last year we ended up snorkeling and my brother went lobstering and we had a blast down in the keys. If you are looking for a great ride and a little different scenery, you should make this poker run a must this month. The Phil Petersons Poker Run is September 13th through the 16th. The next event is going on the 15th of September at Jim’s Harley-Davidson in St. Pete where they will be hosting their Open House Celebration. There is a lot going on that day like food, drinks, beer, bikini bike wash and of course the new 2013 bikes will be in and hopefully some of the 110th anniversary edition bikes will be there for you to check out! Jim’s is the premier dealership now in Pinellas County and is one of the best. They are very well know for their toy run they do in December with around 2,000 – 3,000 bikes on the ride every year! That toy run is always the first Sunday in December so it will be December 2nd this year so you can mark your calendars now. With all the great events coming up, I would like to take this time and mention about how Full Throttle Magazine & MULTI-MEDIA can help. I put the Multi-Media is all caps because Full Throttle is more than just a magazine anymore. We have so much more to offer you with our multi-media advertising than you can imagine and we are giving it all to you for a very reasonable price. If you are having a benefit, poker run, charity ride, grand opening or whatever. Full Throttle is the place to advertise. Between our 8,500 Plus fans on Facebook, our weekly e-mail blast with over 7,500 local bikers e-mails (and a 20% or higher open rate) Our Live internet webshow “Full ThrottleVision” that airs Live every Thursday night from 7pm-8pm, our newly remodeled website and of course our ever popular monthly magazine. We can help spread the word to the entire biker community. Contact your local sales rep with Full Throttle (page 15 in this magazine) and they will have all the information on our advertising packages that begin at only $200 a month for all the previously listed advertising venues! We are gearing up for an action packed October as well. Between Cotee River Bike Fest, Bikertoberfest in Daytona Beach and the Odessa Rodeo the last weekend in October, we will be running all over the place. Be sure to start planning your October weekends now! And if you are looking for a great place to stay in Daytona for Biketoberfest, call the Holiday Inn Resort and stay with Full Throttle (see page 70 in this magazine). We will be bringing back our Let’s Get Crazy Party on Thursday Oct. 18th at the Holiday Inn Resort and they have some great rates. To book your rooms and get the discounted rates call Jennifer at 386-255-0921 (MENTION FTM FOR THE DISCOUNT) There are a lot of birthdays in the month of September so I would like to wish them all a happy birthday: Donny Wilson, Jon Barrow, Ardithe Demoss, Marilyn Menendez, Brad Souders, Mary B Archie, Greg Reaster, Dan Sullivan, Bob Demoss “Mr. Hawaii 550”, Carlos Perez, Freddy Arlt, Robert Stofel, Farrel Bernstein, Peewee Brown, Herm Narcisco, John Miller, Jamie Lindblom, Tabitha Wilson and Ed “Mouse”

Congrats to Tony and Tonya on their wedding what a lovely couple. The Hot weather and raining days are keeping the Pasco Diva Angels from riding as much as we would like too. If you haven’t ridden in Homosassa/Crystal River area the Ozello Trail is a nice winding ride and afterwards you should go for lunch at High Octane. I did with friends between rain drops, and then we stopped at the Freezer for drinks on the water, and then went to the see the monkeys on Monkey Island at the Riverside Resort Monkey bar. Rain doesn’t keep them from having fun either. A few of us attended the meet and greet of the new Pasco chapter of the Suncoast Brotherhood Biker rights group. We got to hang out

with some of the Tampa Diva’s and the place was packed even during the rain storm and we had a great time. Some upcoming events that we hope to make it too are the Rolling for Racks bike run for breast cancer Sept 3rd at Thunder Tavern SR 54 New Port Richey, put on by BRA. Tarpon Springs Bike Fest in honor of the POW/MIA recognition day Sept. 22nd 2-8pm they are having the road blocked and the Roy Sites band will be playing at the turnabout at end of sponge docks Hope to see everyone at the 8th annual Cotee River Bikefest Oct. 11-14 in beautiful downtown New Port Richey, Fl. We will have a table up raffling off baskets of cheer pulling the winners Thanks and have a safe summer For info check out facebook page Diva Angels Pasco Chapter. Our meetings have moved to every 3rd Thurs. @ Blvd. Beef and Ale on Grand Blvd. and Main st. downtown on the back porch, 630pm is social time, then meeting starts approx 7pm, guest are welcome to attend and check us out.

Dennis Lee Hopper.....Ernest Miller Hemingway....and Eccentrics Well my good readers I almost had this month's article done! In spite of still trying to get "DESPERADO" out of the boat yard, having good friends in from out of town and playing "Mr Fix It" on a couple houses, yep almost had it........But then came the "Love Boat" storm (ISSAC) with a bullseye drawn on us and the RNC convention. You see I write my articles in a freehand/cursive alien script, then rewrite it (by hand) so someonelse (my mom) can type it for the magazine to print. I then send it and a zillion photos that I let Tony pick to fit, even though he "never" reads them. Well my 92 loyal readers I got to the alien script part, so I can promise you an epic 5 page article in October as filmakers say "this one's in the can" just needs editing and format and am proud to announce all my future articles will have a cool pop-up book feature that we all enjoyed as a child! (Im lying) but I have a few new topics and ideas for some cool stories I hope you will enjoy. I have picked a story from the past, before some of you became my "loyal readers". I now understand why most great writers were lonely, eccentric drunks with no means of support or true relationships, because my good people real life gets in the way of writing and really blocks the story in your head. But with any luck my boat will be near finished, ISSAC will have missed us and I will polish the 200 hand written pages (my average for each month, really) into October's story and hey hittin the "Lotto" would really clear my head for some amazing tales! Hey there is gonna be a pin-up in my October article for you my "Genius" readers. Perfect for your garage, cubicle or refridgerator look for a new page style, new type and old history. Thanks for reading these past four years. Robert "Capt Genius" De Moss They say the only thing certain is change and in my life most of it has always been for the best. This months column was sure to involve a Moto-Guzzi or some historical bike connection that interacted with a great part of past history. But a change in plans has me sitting in Key West, Florida a couple days from deadline, an unplanned dive and drinking trip. I do have a few traditions and superstitions I have come by in my life and a couple relate to Key West. Whenever I'm there I always visit Ernest Hemingway's home on Whitehead Street and always drink once a day at Captain Tonys which by the way my friends is the original 'Sloppy Joes' where Hemingway did drink and does to this day, but that goes to another of my superstitions doesn't it? There as I sat petting one of the many six toed cats on his estate and asking Mr. Hemingway (who in 1954 won the nobel prize for literature) for some inspiration as to what to write. For you see I had been playing for some 20 odd days and really hadn't thought much about my one dollar a month writing gig......... Well there it was in the next guided tour group a shirt that read 'Dennis Hopper-Easy Rider Forever", and It occurred to me that Hemingway appeals to us bikers, us motorcyclists us

eccentrics who live outside "the box"and outside the normal. Some are scared of our type some want to be our type but can't. He was an adventurer, a womanizer, a hell raiser and an eccentric, hunter, fisherman and drinker. He was known as much for what he did away from his writing as for what he wrote. His exploits as an outdoorsman, his epic travels and world wide drinking, brawling and adventures are legendary. As I thought to myself Hopper and Hemingway were much more alike then you could imagine just separated by about 50 years . Dennis Lee Hopper, actor, director, artist and eccentric motorcyclist and poet of our times. I'm not going to retread the usual filler on Dennis Hopper's life but I will give you a few that made him what he was, made him one of us. Hemingway wrote "as you get older, it is harder to have heros, but more necessary". While "Easy Rider" put Hopper on a pedestal in the biking world he had already made a spot in the universe. Born in Dodge City,Kansas. His father was a OSS/CIA spy and his mother a lifeguard. Shakespearean trained and a veteran of plays at age 19. He would appear in "Rebel Without a Cause" and "Giant' and became friends with James Dean and was amazed at his acting style. He took Dean's death very hard and it is said to have started his downward spiral and reputation as an unmanageable actor. In Hollywood he briefly hung out with Nick Adams and Elvis Presley then studied method acting in New York. While in New York, he and Steve McQueen were tearing around on a Vespa, some fool opened a door and the two found themselves on the pavement. McQueen had to bolt for a rehersal, leaving Dennis there to clean up.Of course neither had licenses.Hoppers career was almost over as fast as it had begun. Oddly enough in a 1994 interview Hopper credited John Wayne with saving his career with parts in " The Sons of Katie Elder" (1965) and "True Grit" (1969). In " True Grit" it was said that Wayne and Hopper got very well acquainted. It was stated that the "Duke" chased Hopper around the set with a loaded gun, but all was forgiven later. In 1963 he played in a highly controversial episode of the Twilight Zone called " He's Alive" about a second rate neo-nazi being guided by Hitler. It was one appearance in over 140 television shows he would guest on. In 1967 he would appear in "Cool Hand Luke" with Paul Newman. But then came "Easy Rider" in 1969 a movie that would make Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda legends and a fellow named Jack Nicholson a superstar. It was the first independent, non-union film to be distributed by a major studio. Hopper and Fonda came up with $400,000 dollars and after delays, re-writes and a lot of drugs, sex and rock-n-roll the epic film of Billy and Wyatt known as "Easy Rider" would be released. Hemingway said, "Fiction is inventing out of what knowledge you have. If you invent successfully it is more true than if you try to remember it". I have always liked the "Billy"

bike Hopper rode as opposed to the raked Fonda bike known as "Captain America". Hopper had approached Harley Davidson about some "comp" bikes but Harley declined saying they didn't want that image. Hopper bought four former police bikes (1949-52 Hydro-Glide panheads). He then turned them over to African- American bike builders Ben Hardy and Cliff Vaughs. Hopper who had less riding hours than Fonda wanted a more ridable better handling bike while Fonda wanted the rake, paint and flash. The "Capt America" bike was so squirrley to ride that at one point Jack Nicholson who was on the back squeezed his knees on Fondas side to balance the rig so hard it broke one of Fondas ribs. Four bikes were built, 2 of each model of which 3 were stolen before films end. And in the final scene Wyatt and his "Captain America" would be destroyed togather on Louisiana route 105. Dan Haggerty who played Grizzly Adams on TV was the bike handler for the film and would later rebuild this bike and sell it at auction in 2001.The movie also inspired "Easyrider" magazine and the national bike shows that go on to this day.Jimmy Hendrix a motorcyclist himself was so awed by the movie he wrote "Ezy Rider" in tribute.Ironically Hopper wouldn't ride much after this film, much of this had to do with what Rolling Stone magazine characterized as "one of Hollywoods most notorious drug addicts" for 20 years. He was married 5 times and was said to have been doing 3 grams of coke and a gallon of rum a day at his peak.Taos NM became his outcast haven and where he would be laid to rest. It was also at this time he battled Fonda for a bigger share of the residual profits from Easy Rider. But in 1979 his role as a maniac Vietnam era photo journalist in Apocalypse Now put him back on filmmakers radar but was still considered un-reliable and tough to deal with due to the abuse. That was until he entered drug rehab in 1983. At the time of his death he had been clean and sober, living in Venice Beach, Calif. for 18 years. Hemingway said "An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with fools". Dennis Hopper would then become the Nitrous Oxide huffing, psycho villain Frank Booth in "Blue Velvet" (1986). He called David Lynch and said "I have to play Frank Booth because I am Frank Booth". He would also get an Oscar nomination that year for the best supporting actor for playing "Shooter" the alcoholic assistant coach to Gene Hackman in "Hoosiers".In 1988 he directed the criticaly acclaimed "Colors" starring Sean Penn and Robert Duvall. He would work in TV and cable mostly and small independent films untill cast in 1993 in "True Romance" where one of the finest scenes ever made took place between him and fellow gifted psycho Christopher Walken. He was accused of "selling out" when doing the NIKE footwear ads but Hopper said "A true artist tries alot of different paths"

and who doesnt remember the Bruce Smith "Bad things man,bad things" spot.He would then make a blockbuster called "Speed" and in 1995 become "The Deacon" and lead the smokers against Kevin Costner in "Waterworld" which to me was pure Dennis Hopper and with him"commanding" the Exxon Valdez it seemed an odd take on todays problem in the Gulf. Most recently he played in the cable series"Crash" and the 1st season of "24" Theres so many roles and movies and guest spots on CD's and shows you could go on and on. For as many years as Hopper has been an actor he has been an acclaimed photographer, painter, sculptor and an avid collector of modern art.In the past decade Hopper got back into motorcycling and became one of the founding vice presidents of the Guggenheim Motorcycle Club. We've had some amazing rides says Hopper"From my art show at the Hermatige to Moscow, then a 5 day trip across Europe and then 1500 miles around the United Arab Emirates"But his wheels of choice are different these days as Dennis has 5 gleaming BMW"s to chose from. When Sports Illustrated interviewed fellow club member Laurence Fishburne they asked if "Hopper could handle a bike?"Fish replied "Totally.Come on man he's (Easy Riders) Billy".Hopper stated he should have died a 100 times over and that he did not really know how his media would be looked at,just that he thought he would leave something interesting behind. When asked about stardom he said "I dont really think of myself as a star.Really, very honestly I think of myself as a very fortunate person whos been able to make a living of sorts through acting and various other things through the years. But im certainly not a star.Im not on any A-list anywhere. But I love what im doing.Ernest Hemingway said "If your going to be a writer, sooner or later you write about everything-the places you went-the people who double crossed youhow the weather was-the ladies you loved-your wins and your losses-and those funny times when you mistakenly thought the world was made for you"Yes I see Dennis and Ernest knocking back a few rums playin roulette at Heavens casino and caberet with Hopper saying "Hey Ernie, hey man how about we do somethin big together soon".Jack Nicholson descibed his friendship with Hopper as being "soul mates" and as his character in Easy Rider George Hanson said to Billy and Wyatt...."There not scared of you"....."There scared of what you represent.........Freedom" Dennis Lee Hopper 1936-2010 Ernest Miller Hemingway1899-1961

Here we are ... another football season is upon us!!! I love football and every year I try and predict what each team will do. Sometimes I’m right on and other times I flat out suck!!! Well, it’s September and that time again so here I go with the annual NightMoves NFL Predictions:

NFC EAST

1) Philadelphia Eagles - QB Vick, RB McCoy and a solid defense could lead the Eagles deep into the playoffs! 2) New York Giants - Last year’s Super Bowl champs will be good again but it’s extremely hard to repeat! 3) Dallas Cowboys -Always close but never quite good enough. Can QB Romo win the big one? Is DeMarco Murray a top-five RB? Time will tell .... 4) Washington Redskins - RG3 will help but the Skins can’t win this division with a rookie QB alone. They need a solid running game and will be lucky to win 6-7 games.

NFC SOUTH

1) New Orleans Saints -To many off season problems. The Saints lose their coach and a few players for most of the season. They will still be good, but have numerous question marks. 2) Atlanta Falcons -The Falcons need to improve their defense if they plan to win the NFC South. QB Ryan and his offense is solid but can they stop anybody on defense? 3) Carolina Panthers - QB Cam Newton is for real and the Panthers should win more than the six games they won last year. Friendly schedule could mean 8-9 wins. 4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Another difficult season for the Bucs. New coach and off season acquisitions will help but I can’t see more than 6 wins at best.

NFC CENTRAL

1) Green Bay Packers - Class of the NFC features QB Aaron Rodgers and a great offense. Look for another Super Bowl run from the Packers! 2) Detroit Lions - Improving team that has defense questions. QB Matt Stafford and WR Calvin Johnson are a great combo. If they can find a running game the offense will be very good! 3) Chicago Bears - High expectations in the Windy City! QB Jay Cutler needs to be on

36

top of his game and the defense must remain strong if the Bear are to compete in the Central Division.

3) Indianapolis Colts - The Colts will greatly improve over last season. Could be a .500 team with some QB “Luck”!

4) Minnesota Vikings - Will RB Adrian Peterson’s knee be healed? Will QB Christian Ponder we good enough? Will the defense improve? No, no and no ... I don’t see more than 5 wins from the Vikes in 2012.

4) Jacksonville Jaguars - It looks like a long season in north Florida with MJD holding out and Blaine Gabbert just not a good QB.

NFC WEST

1) Baltimore Ravens - Joe Flacco is a better QB than people think and RB Ray Rice is great! Ravens defense always solid and a Super Bowl run is a possibility!

1) San Francisco 49ers - Solid team led by QB Alex Smith. I don’t think they will win 13 games again, but look for the Niners to be playoff bound. 2) Seattle Seahawks - RB Marshawn Lynch had a great 2011 season and with new QB Russell Wilson the Hawks have big hopes this year. 3) Arizona Cardinals - Cards need good QB play from either Kolb or Skelton. Running game is ok and they have solid wide receivers. Could win 9 games if everything goes according to plan! 4) St.Louis Rams - New coach Jeff Fisher hopes that QB Sam Bradford and RB Steven Jackson both stay healthy the Rams should easily win more than the two games they won last season.

AFC EAST

1) New England Patriots - Always a contender and this year is no different ... Super Bowl team! 2) New York Jets - Sanchez -v- Tebow a match-up that could be great or terrible. Defense is solid but questions at wide receiver position. 3) Buffalo Bills - Could be surprise team in the AFC. Solid running game and good defense could mean playoff possibilities!

AFC CENTRAL

2) Pittsburgh Steelers - Big Ben must stay healthy and the Steelers need a running game to make a legitimate run at the title. 3) Cincinnati Bengals - Look for QB Dalton to keep improving and so will the Bengals. Could have a great season if everything falls into place! 4) Cleveland Browns - The Brownies are rebuilding ... again! Maybe 4-5 wins???

AFC WEST

1) Denver Broncos - Hello Peyton! If #18 stays healthy look for the Broncs to go deep into the playoffs. 2) Kansas City Chiefs - The Chiefs could win this division if they stay healthy and the Broncos stumble. RB Peyton Hillis should have a solid season. 3) San Diego Chargers - QB Phillip Rivers needs to replace WR Vincent Jackson and RB Ryan Matthews needs a good year if the Chargers are to make a run. 4) Oakland Raiders - The Raiders will be led by QB Carson Palmer and RB Darren McFadden. I’m sorry, I’m just not convinced they are that good.

4) Miami Dolphins - A bad team with a rookie QB. Should have a tough time winning 5 games.

NFC PLAYOFFS: Green Bay Packers -vPhiladelphia Eagles

AFC SOUTH

AFC PLAYOFFS: New England Patriots -vBaltimore Ravens

1) Houston Texans - A healthy QB Schwaub and a great RB Foster make the Texas the team to beat in this division. Should make playoffs if they can stay healthy! 2) Tennessee Titans - Second best in this division and could have a good year if RB Chris Johnson can rebound into his 2010 form.

SUPER BOWL: Green Bay Packers -vBaltimore Ravens SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS: Baltimore Ravens

42 I sat down with the owners of Express Trailers Thomas and Gary, I asked them about the trailers. Express Trailers was established in 1985 and has evolved over the years to become one of the largest manufacturers in Florida. You can count on them being there in the future when you need them –whether it is for parts, repairs, warranty work or when you are ready to purchase another enclosed cargo trailer. Performance and reliability are achieved with an Express Trailer because of the materials that go into it, and the way it is manufactured. For instance, their trailers have an all tubular steel construction---this includes the tongue, base frame, upright, - and roof bows----which gives the the trailer superior strength. The frames receive a thorough coat of primer and black paint. The ¾” deck is sealed underneath for long-term protection. They only use products from the industry leaders such as Al-Ko, Georgia Pacific, and Americax, just to name a few. New and exciting is the addition of the cutting edge of lighting technology—LED’s Light emitting diodes require 90% less power, lasts 35 time longer, providing instantaneous and brighter illumination. One of the most important thing to be concerned with as an enclosed trailer buyer is what your trailer is riding on. Express Trailers provides the “AL-KO” axles on all of

its’ trailers, not just the larger units, These torsion axles have a rubber cushioned, impendent wheel suspension, which provides a smooth and quiet ride. They are easily maintained with E-Z lube lubrication that can be done without disassembly. For your safety, four wheel electric brakes and a breakaway hits are provided in all tandem axle units, Finally---15” radial tires and E-Coated white modular rims that are finished off with a stainless cap. All of this to get you down the road safely and in style. Their motto at Express Trailers is --- “We’re Behind You All The Way “ So till next month Live Life to the fullest and party you’re a$$ off !!! Dew

Next month is a magical month for Bikers and it's not Biketoberfest - it's Spooks and Scoots hosted by the Hillsborough County Chapter of ABATE at the Sertoma Youth Ranch near the Pasco Hernando county line east of 75 south of Brooksville north of Zephyrhills. Follow the signs to Sertoma Youth Ranch - Spooks and Scoots. The dates are October 12 13 14 of 2012. This is my favorite yearly event and the Sertoma Youth Ranch is a great place to hold it. They have camp sites from large motor homes to tents, electricity and showers, food, vendors and you might even find Elvira. I will be there looking for you and you can look for me. More on this next month. If you are not a member of ABATE you can see me at Webster the first Sunday of every month. I will have the application and forms at my booth under the old oak tree. I really urge you to join for the betterment of the biker community - if you enjoy biking these people do alot with passing laws, aware-

ness - you have probably seen the signs watch out for motorcycles, there are lobbyists in Tallahassee and Washington, DC. For your measly $20 a month you can be a member of the Hillsborough County Chapter along with me. I have heard that they are conducting a survey as to the effectiveness of the red light cameras. I hope that they do away with them. It is a source of revenue for the towns - they are penalizing people who can't afford it. Next will be the stop sign cameras. Everything is going up except the wages of the working man and jobs are getting scarce. We are selling out to China by buying at Wal Mart. I try not to buy anything Chinese - maybe we could have jobs if we start producing things in America again. Whether you know it or not, we are heading for bad times. I was watching a documentary showing an Asian street full of small motor scooters and very few cars - it looked like ants on the street. I want you to know I have one of those motor scooters now just to make it on my social security check. See you soon Adrianna and Doc...

An unidentified man in Sparks, Nevada went to see the movie “The Bourne Legacy” and shifted in his seat. While doing so, his gun fell out of his pants pocket, fell to the ground, discharged and shot him in the ass! After wounding himself, he got up, apologized to his fellow movie-goers and left the theater!

MATERIAL GIRL Madonna is being sued in Russia for nearly $10.5-million because she offended Russian activists during a concert. It is illegal to promote homosexuality and Madge stomped on an Orthodox cross while asking fans to raise their hands and show off pink armbands that were distributed at the concert ... really???

I’LL BE THE JuDGE OF THAT Look out everybody ... here comes Nicki! American Idol is close to naming pop star Nicki Minaj as a judge on the top rated television program. She will join Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson as judges. AI returns to the air in January!

GOING POSTAL The US Postal Service reported losses of $57-million per day the last quarter. The service has been urging Congress to pass legislation that would allow it to eliminate Saturday mail delivery and reduce health payments of more than $5-billion! The USPS defaulted on a payment for future retiree health benefits last month.

WALK IT OFF Here’s some good news ... according to a study by the “Center for Disease Control and Prevention” , the percentage of people who say they are taking at least a 10-minute walk one a week increased 62% ! The area that showed those biggest increase was the South and the Northeast part of the country had the lowest numbers! Way to go America, that’s a step in the right direction to fight obesity!

SWIFT IS ONE ANGRY GIRL Taylor Swift’s new song “We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together” is causing a lot of gossip and talk around Hollywood. Which one of Swift’s ex-boyfriends is the song about? Is it Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal or John Mayer? Swift won’t tell as she is happy dating Conor Kennedy ... yes, he’s one of “those” Kennedy’s! Taylor just purchased a $5-million vacation home by Kennedy’s Cape Cod compound! Hey, if they break up maybe Coner can get a song written about him!

THIS DROuGHT SuCKS The drought conditions in the United States now cover close to 25% of the country. It’s so bad that in Indiana they are finding foundations and old bricks from buildings that have been underwater for years and along the Mississippi River they are finding old shipwrecks. Crops have taken a beating and that means higher food costs for everybody. Come on Mother Nature, give us some rain!

OuCH, I BuRNT MY BuTT! Jennelle Carrillo filed a lawsuit against the Dallas Cowboys because she sat on a black marble bench outside Cowboy Stadium and burned her ass! The lawsuit says Carrillo suffered third degree burns, mental anguish, physical pain and disfigurement due to burns she received. The lawsuit also says there were no signs posted near the bench saying it was too hot for persons to sit on. What ???? Is this lady a complete jerk? If the damn bench is sitting in the sun ... it’s gonna be hot! Is she just plain stupid? I guess it’s no worse than the lady who sued McDonalds because she burned her lap after spilling hot coffee! Lawsuits like these need to be thrown out of court and people need to use common sense!

I have lived in Florida for over 23 year’s. Love that I can go out ridding on my motor cycle or boat all year round. I have been a high performance motor junky all my life. I can honestly say that there isn’t anything that has come my way that I haven’t been able to fix. I love to be challenged and told that you cant do that. Watch me!! I believe in honesty and being fair to all my customers. Dna Cycles is open 6 days a week so come stop in and let us take care of all your needs. We have a Dyno on the premises. Looking forward to meeting you.

I’m Ray Perry with the Project 9 band. I started playing guitar when I was young; I am left handed and really had to learn on my own.I’ve always love playing music, I called it my “Escape”, and never took it outside of just fooling around. Years later I moved to florida, I found my soul mate and felt secureenough again to start playing my guitar again. So I decided to pick up my guitar and really learn to play the correct way and I switched to right handed and started over. I found my playing to become well enough to start a band which was the Southern Point Band. I learned a lot and really enjoyed it. The band fell apart and I meet Ron. We started working together and started the Project 9 Band.We are here to stay! We cover songs from the 1970’s to the current time.We really enjoy playing for Bikenights with Full Throttle. We always have a great time playing and entertaining our guests. We want to give a big thanks to Full Throttle Magazine for believing in us!

Two good ol’ boys were sitting around talking one afternoon over a cold beer. After a while the 1st guy says to the 2nd, “If’n I was to sneak over to your trailer Saturday & make love to your wife while you was off huntin’ and she got pregnant and had a baby, would that make us kin?” The 2nd guy crooked his head sideways for a minute, scratched his head, and squinted his eyes thinking real hard about the question. Finally, he says, “Well, I don’t know about kin, but it would make us even!”

A blonde’s dog goes missing and she is frantic. Her husband says “Why don’t you put an ad in the paper?”

It was a hot Saturday evening in the summer of 1957 and Fred had a date with Peggy Sue. He arrived at her house and rang the bell.

She does, but two weeks later the dog is still missing. “What did you put in the paper?” her husband asks. “Here boy!” she replies.

“Oh, come on in!” Peggy Sue’s mother said .”Have a seat in the living room. “So, what are you and Peggy planning to do tonight?” she asked. “Oh, probably catch a movie, and then maybe grab a bite to eat at the malt shop, maybe take a walk on the beach...”

******************************* Kevin had shingles and here’s what happened. He walked into a doctor’s office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Kevin said: ‘Shingles.’ So she wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat.

“Peggy likes to screw, you know,” Mom informed him.

Fifteen minutes later a nurse’s aide came out and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, ‘Shingles.’ So she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Kevin to wait in the examining room.

1. It’s important to have a woman “Is that so?” asked Fred, incredulous. “Yes,” who helps at home, cooks from time said the mother. “As a matter of fact, she’d to time, cleans up, and has a job. screw all night if we let her!” 2. It’s important to have a woman “Well, thanks for the tip,” Fred said as he who can make you laugh. began thinking about alternate plans for the evening. 3. It’s important to have a woman who you can trust, and doesn’t lie to A moment later, Peggy Sue came down you. the stairs wearing a pink blouse and full circle skirt, and with her hair tied back in It’s important to have a woman who a bouncy ponytail. She greeted Fred. is good in bed, and likes to be with you. “Have fun, kids,” the mother said as they left. 5. It’s very, very important that these four women do not know each other. Half an hour later, a completely disheveled Peggy Sue burst into the house and slammed the front door behind her.

A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, ‘Shingles.’ So the nurse gave Kevin a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Kevin to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor. An hour later the doctor came in and found Kevin sitting patiently in the nude and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, ‘Shingles.’ The doctor asked, ‘Where?’ Kevin said, ‘Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload em??’

“Uh...really?” Fred replied, with raised eyebrows. “Oh, yes!” the mother continued. “When she goes out with her friends, that’s all they do!”

“The Twist, Mom!” she angrily yelled at her mother. “The damned dance is called the Twist!”
