Tampa Bay attorneys John Della Costa and David Neville met while working at local law firms that operated with what they call the “Mill Mentality.” The goal of the “Mill Mentality” is to attract as many cases as possible and then push them through the legal system quickly. It was a volume business that produced great revenue for the law firms, but John and David always felt the clients weren’t getting the personal attention they deserved.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO GET YOUR FREE GUIDE*: 1) Visit www.ProLawUSA.com and click the download button

2) Call our office at In 2006 John and David decided to do things differently. They envisioned a law firm where clients could work directly with their attorneys – not paralegals, case workers, or assistants like they would at a typical “TV law firm.” They knew this approach would require them to accept fewer cases but they also knew it was the best way to serve their clients. Together, John and David created the law firm of Della Costa & Neville to provide clients with the personal service they felt was lacking in so many of the larger firms.

727-475-4522

If you’ve been injured there are plenty of law firms out there eager to handle your case and it’s not always easy to tell the differences between them. That’s why John Della Costa decided to write Don’t Get Caught In The Mill! It’s an inside look at the way different law firms operate and is designed to provide consumers with the information they need to select the right attorney for their case. If you are a Florida resident you can get this book for free without any obligation.

ON THE COVER COTEE RIVER BIKE FEST DOWNTOWN NEW PORT RICHEY OCT 10TH - 12TH

My beautiful wife and I were given the amazing opportunity to go to Sturgis last month and we had a great time! Please like us on facebook and check out all the great pictures from the trip! Special thanks to our great friends The Law Office of Fran M. Haasch, especially Fran and Rhett, for being such amazing people and doing what they do for the motorcycle community! September is the weirdest month of the year for the motorcycle community I think. We celebrate Patriots Day on the 11th in remembrance of 9-11-01. That is still a tough day for me after all these years. The kids are all back in school but it is still blistering hot out and the rain chances for each day are through the roof. There are a handful of events with one of the most notable being the annual Phil Peterson's Key West Poker Run from Miami to Key West. This year the grand prize is a Harley-Davidson Street 500 or $6,000 cash! That's a pretty nice grand prize for a poker run! The ride is Sept. 18th through the 21st. Most of the big events start happening in October and the holiday season. The first week in October is Thunder Beach in Panama City Beach. This is a great event if you have never been to it before. I suggest making plans for it if not this year something in the future. October is filled to the brim with events! The first weekend is Panama City Beach or Thunder Beach. The Second Weekend is Cotee River Bike Fest. Full Throttle and myself has had a great opportunity to sit on the committee and help host this event this year. There is going to be so much to day and enjoy from a downtown stage with bands, an amazing band line up on the main stage in Sims Park, the Harley-Davidson Demo truck will be on site for test rides, Full Throttle will be hosting bike shows on Saturday and Sunday, Motorman will be doing his demonstrations and Jesse Toler will be doing his stunt shows all weekend long! The event is three day from Oct. 10th - 12th. For more info visit www.coteeriverbikefest.org for all the info and schedule. Vendors be sure to get your spaces now and they are filling up quickly. there is a vendor from on the website for you to print out and send in! After That there is Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach where we will be hosting a bike show at Destination Daytona on Thursday, The Boardwalk Bike Show on the beach Friday and the Baddest Bagger Show at the Cabbage Patch on Friday also, then we will be set up at the Rats Hole Bike Show on Saturday as well as the entire event at Dirty Harry's on Main street and Main Street station. Then Oct. 26th is Quaker Steak and Lube's 11 Year Anniversary Party with Greg Billings and the Black Honkey's playing and tons of great prizes and give-a-ways.... Whew.... October Looks Packed!!!! I would like to take this time and thank all of our great readers, advertisers and friends of Full Throttle Magazine. Without you all advertising your businesses in our monthly publication or reading the book and using our advertisers we wouldn't be here for 18 years! November we will be celebrating our 18 year anniversary. This will also be a year and a half since I bought the magazine from Paul and I enjoy every day waking up and coming to work. I love the saying, you never work a day in your life when you love your job, and I do! Be sure to come out Wed. Oct. 1st to Quaker Steak and Lube Bike Night and dye your facial hair or any hair PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness! Any donation will do but we are asking $20 a person. Let's all man up and go pink for Breast Cancer Awareness, I myself will be the first one going PINK! Come out and join me if you are man enough to GO PINK!

Welcome back to the Back Yard. Well bike season has begun down here in the Sunshine State. and here at Full Throttle we are right in the middle of all the fun. August kicked off with the ultimate Biker Enthusiast concert with Motley Crue making a stop on their Final Tour in Tampa. Not only was it a kick ass show but bikers came out in force to the Amphitheatre for the show. For some great southern fried fun Quaker Steak and Lube hosted the Red Neck Olympics and what fun it was for everyone. What other event can you go to and shoot paintballs at the owner and staff of a restaurant and have a blast doing it. Full Throttle's annual 5 Bridges Run rounded out a great August with the run from Tampa to Ellington, FL this year. We had for the first time a new stop on the run with Beef O Brady's Southdale being a part of the run. Bike night begins at

40

Beef O Brady's Southdale September 15th just in time for Monday Night Football and then every Monday from then on. Check out Beef O Brady's Full Page Ad for details and time. Had a blast with my good friend Patricia Verdicchio and Breast Cancer Killers at the Christmas in July Toy Run. Be sure and Visit Breast Cancer Killers tent every Wednesday at Quaker Steak and Lube Bike night and Thursday's at Hagan's Beach Bar. Ride safe bikers. Look Twice, Safe A Life. See you next month. Lock the gate on your way out. Peace Out. Charlie.

Hi All, sitting down and enjoying some time in the a/c after a day out in Tarpon Springs. Took one of the tourist boat rides out to Anclote Key, got to see a few dolphin and enjoyed the cooling wind when the boat was moving! If you are out riding you know what I’m talking about. The weather is hot and wet at times so you just need to keep your rain suit with you. October is going to be mad house with something going on almost every weekend! Oct.1st through the 5th Thunder Beach will be at Panama City Beach. Oct. 10th through the 12th is Cotee River Bikefest in New Port Richey (There are still vendor spots available - just give us a call!). My birthday is on the 15th and I will be spending that over in Dayton for Biketoberfest which runs from the 16th through the 19th. Tell next time Live Life to the Fullest and Party you’re a** off ..Dew

A man was sunbathing naked at the beach. For the sake of civility, and to keep it from getting sunburned, he had a hat over his privates. A woman walks past and says, snickering, “if you were a gentleman you’d lift your hat.” He raised an eyebrow and replied, “if you weren’t so ugly, it would lift itself.” ************************** A Florida senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. “Amazing,” he thought as he flew down I-95, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a Florida State Trooper, blue lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, “What am I doing? I’m too old for this!” and pulled over to await the trooper’s arrival. Pulling in behind him, the trooper got out of his vehicle and walked up to the Corvette. He looked at his watch, then said, “Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a new reason for speeding--a reason I’ve never before heard -- I’ll let you go. “The old gentleman paused then said: “Three years ago, my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper. This month I had the pleasure of interviewing TOP HAT (Gary Lawson) of LEATHERNECKS MC. 1090 Innovation Ave. North Port, FL 34298 843-538-7519 or Todd “FINGERS” Fingerdale, President 239-599-2469 E-mail: tophatlawson80@yahoo. com www.leathernecksmc.org You have to be a MARINE (active duty, honorably discharged, or retiree) to join LEATHERNECKS MC (of course, have to ride a motorcycle). This chapter goes all the way from the Skyway Bridge to Ft. Myers. Check www.leathernecksmc.org because they have chapters that cover the whole state. LEATHERNECKS have been around since November 10, 1775! They got the nickname “LEATHERNECKS” because at that time, they were a dept. of the Navy and were the first line of defense on ships. Those brave men wore a piece of very thick, very high leather around their necks to protect them from sword fighting! The Navy sailors didn’t wear that. LEATHERNECKS MC is all about helping veterans and their families. They direct the vets in getting the help they need (Medical through the VA) or other benefits. They go to other organizations (AMVETS, VFW, AMERICAN LEGION, PATRIOT RIDERS, MOOSE RIDERS, etc.) to help them out and vice/versa. One of their biggest events is TOYS FOR TOTS TOY RUN every year (nationally). This year, it’s going to be at the CHARLOTTE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS Sunday, Nov. 9. Starts in Punta Gorda (Victory Park) and ends Charlotte County Fairgrounds. VENDORS, FOOD, BANDS, and much more (last year over 1,500 bikers). There will be a police escort also! Keep your eyes open for details in FULL THROTTLE, Charlotte County events and on our website and leathernecksmc.org for more info! LEATHERNECKS MC Port Charlotte Chapter opened its doors in May. They have a really nice clubhouse! They have an open POKER party going on every Thursday Night 7pm and OPEN HOUSE every Saturday 7pm. LEATHERNECKS MC is very family-oriented too! Spouses

are welcome along with kids. AND anybody can join them on rides as a guest. LEATHERNECKS MC is a very social (and SPECIAL) club. Come by and check them out! Top Hat is 69 (served in Vietnam 1966-67) and has lots of memories. I enjoyed interviewing him! CONTACT TOP HAT (843-538-7519) or FINGERS (239-599-2469) to be part of this amazing organization! One of their motto’s: IT’S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU RIDE; WE ARE HERE BECAUSE WE RIDE. VETERANS HELPING VETERANS **** SAFETY WARNING: You can’t be too careful! Date: 8/12/2014 10:35am - I was on my way home riding my bike. Out of nowhere, the truck (which was stopped) turned right out of parking lot and HIT my bike. The next thing I knew, I was sitting on the ground and didn’t realize what had happened! In ER, I found out I was relativity “ok” (my helmet saved me) although I had nasty road rash on my face and arm and swelling and broken ribs. AND NEITHER ONE OF US WAS GOING THAT FAST! JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU, YOU CAN’T BE TOO CAREFUL (IT’S NOT YOU, IT’S THE “OTHER GUY” who doesn’t “see” you!)*** In other news around my area, I visited these amazing PEOPLE and shops: BIKER BABE’S BLING, Lorie Boeshore (239-691-6961) DESTINATION POWER SPORTS, Sandi Young (941-639-9155) DOUGLAS JEEP, CHRYSLER, DODGE, Todd Mangrum (941484-8300) PALM AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, Cherie George, Mkt. One Man "Wolf Pack"

Jimmy Bushert

Last year after taking hold of this 2010 Street Glide I decided that I wanted something a little different than all of the other bikes running around the street. I contacted Joey Beam at Vindictive Wayz to see what his schedule was on doing a build. We discussed our ideas and he created “Wolf pack”. Deconstruction began on the 2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide after a plan had been devised with Vindictive Wayz cutting and stretching the neck for the fitment of a 26” front wheel. We chose one made by SMT Machining out of Glendale, Arizona, called the Barbaric Tendencies. We also installed a single 13” rotor along with a six piston Performance Machine caliper for superior looks and braking. Next we went with a pair of contrast cut Ness legs accompanied by the Yafterburner fork boots in contrast cut powder coating. Bodywork consisted of a stretched tank, custom side panels, four inch stretched bags and accented Sinister Industries fenders on both ends, and a complete reworking of the fairing from the inside out. We added a raked Sinister fairing and a lower fairing to hide all the ugly switches. During the build the stock FLHX bars were replaced with Yaffe 14” Monkey Bars. We stayed with the stock Harley Davidson radio but enhanced the sound with bigger front speakers and adding 6x9 speakers in the lids for additional sound, with the amps inside the fairing and the covers. The result was clear and loud

sound. All of the accessorizing came by way of Precision Billet who supplied up with their Dark Side floorboards, air cleaner, points cover, and bag latches. Not much left to do other than changing out the exhaust with complimentary tips with accent the pipes. Now the workmanship on the build is outstanding but the paintwork which was done by Brian Morgan of Easley, South Carolina (Facebook page- BKP Art) is what set s the bike apart from the others. Not wanting what others had I went with a theme of wolves. The bike was painted in metallic black cherry which in the sun light is an awesome sight. The airbrush work is incomparable from the front fender to the rear one and everything in between. The more you look at the artwork the more you see. I have never counted the wolves but suffice it to say “ it’s a pack” To me the most important thing about this build is this bike is a rider! No trailer queen but a daily rider. I have logged more than 3,000 miles on this bike since the completion and delivery to me at Biketoberfest. In closing if you want a quality build by a group of great guys, contact Joey Beam and his crew at Vindictive Wayz. (828) 286-9211

To say our trip to Sturgis this year was "AMAZING" is an understatement. It was so much more than that. Fran Haasch stepped up and gave a trip away to Sturgis to two lucky people this year. The winners of that trip were Janice and Ramon Rodriguez. They won two airline tickets, their bike shipped to Sturgis through FreightCenter and hotel accommodations. The group that went out there also consisted of a few employees from the Law Offices of Fran Haasch: Bryan York, Lori Muldoon and Kyle Lamberth. Besides the Law Fran team, we were joined by the Owners of High Octane Saloon, Doug and Cassandra Doty and The owners of Bikers Post Kris Olivera and Steve Olivera and of course my wife Tonya Cianci and myself, it was an amazing group of people. We started out on our group ride Wednesday where we went to Deadwood, rode through Sturgis and stopped for a while at Buffalo Chip where we saw some filming of the new TV series, Biker Battleground Arizona. Then we finished the day stopping by the Quaker Steak and Lube in Rapid City that was supposed to have a bike night.... On Thursday, the Fran Haasch group was finally in town so we went to Mount Rushmore, needles highway then through Custer State Park where we saw buffalo, antelope and stopped to feed some wild donkeys that were on the side of the road. These were some amazing roads that are filled with holes cut right through the mountains and rock to create a path for the bikes and vehicles to go through. Switchbacks and some of the most beautiful scenery you have ever gazed upon. We stopped and at Lunch in the Town of Custer and then traveled to the Crazy Horse monument and ended the evening at FULL THROTTLE SALOON watching Jackyl rock the stage! Friday was filled with a lot of riding and some rain that made us pause for a little while. We started our through Spearfish canyon where we stopped and saw a great waterfall at the bottom of the canyon. Our fearless leader on the trip, Kris Olivera, said if we are here, then let's ride, and we made the journey out to Devil's Tower in Wyoming some 60 miles or so away from where we were. Some of the stories on how Devil's Tower was created are quite amusing to say the least. It is most well known for its appearance in Close encounters of the third kind. I believe we put on over 300 miles on our bikes that day alone. Saturday was the Badlands day! We traveled out to the badlands and I think we stopped at every outlook and place you could stop to see the sights. I do not know how to explain the Badlands except that you feel like you are in another world out there. One way you look it is plains and rolling hills, the other way is rock formations and deep crevices. It really is something you need to see at least once in your lifetime. We did what most people probably do after the Badlands then we stopped at Wall Drugs. That place is HUGE and the food was great! I got my picture on a 10 foot tall Jackalope. We then went back to Sturgis where we got caught in a huge storm that was one of the worst they had all year. By Sunday we were all pretty much whipped out so we took Nemo Road back to Sturgis to do some shopping and get some stuff to bring home. We ate lunch and had to get the bikes back to the FreightCenter truck that was loading up all the bikes to head home. The FreightCenter guys did an amazing job on our bikes. They were out and waiting for us when we got there to the Hotel and they were ready and waiting for us when we dropped them off. I would suggest FreightCenter to anyone who is looking to ship their bikes to any location! I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I have to thank Fran Haasch and Rhett Jones again for this amazing trip, the opportunity to work together with you and the fact that I can call you dear friends. Relationships like the ones we have and with the community you support do not just happen. They take a lot of work, a lot of pride and respect. Fran is always there when someone is in need in the motorcycle community. I know talking to them they are planning on doing this event again next year where they give someone a trip to Sturgis and Rhett told me he also has a few other trips and ideas up his sleeve for the future! Please like the Fran Haasch, Full Throttle and Biker Post facebook pages to see numerous more pictures and video's from one of the most amazing motorcycle trips ever!
