SCARCELLA PASQUALE A typical Apulian Easter cake
Ingredients: - gr. 500 flour, - 1 packet of baking powder for cakes, - gr. 120 sugar, - 1 pinch of ammonia, - 2 eggs, - gr. 100 extra virgin olive oil, - gr. 110 milk, - 1 packet of vanillin, - grated of one lemon peel.
Preparation: Put some flour on the work table. In the middle, put sugar and eggs and mix. Then, add the packet of vanillin, oil, backing powder and ammonia and mix all using some milk. Grease and flour a baking pan. Take the dough with your hands greasy with oil, and put it in baking pan, giving it the desired shape. Bake at 180째 for 20 minutes .
