From the Desk of Ryan Lanzen Follow Us Now!

Greetings! I hope this week’s update finds you and yours well. We are busy at work here at Torreon, wrapping up things like the golf course winter preparation and our holiday decorating while getting ready for our New Year’s festivities and planning out our 2016 event calendar. It is going to be a great 2016 at Torreon. That being said, 2015 isn’t over just yet and there is still plenty of reason for you to come and visit us! If you are a skier, snowboarder or just one heck of a sledder, Sunrise Ski Park is open. Sunrise Mountain has a peak base of 29” of snow and a midway depth of 21”. The weather forecast for the next few days is giving us a decent chance at some snow on this coming Saturday and Monday. Make sure you check out the full Sunrise Ski Park mountain report on the following page. We all know it’s not great golf weather up at Torreon this time of year, but one of the best perks of being a Troon Prive’ club member is the reciprocal benefit. Make sure you are taking advantage of this great benefit this time of year! As a Troon Prive’ member, you are allowed to play other Troon managed courses at a discount. If it is a private club, you will play for a cart fee. At a daily fee club, you will play for the Troon Advantage rate which is anywhere from 20%-60% off the standard rate. You can book these times by going to www.troonprive.com and filling out the form on the website or by calling myself or our Head Golf Professional, Randy Bigos. We would be more than happy to assist you in setting up your tee time.
