Whole to part and part to whole exercise was uti lized to better understand the complex relationship formed between building and context. We learn that both context and building can in fluence each other. To bet ter understand the exercise there was an abstraction of building and context. In stead we were encouraged to focus on an infinite, ab stract shapes and patterns that could result from the process.

Zaha Hadid Zaha Hadid was an Iraqi-born British architect who changed the architecture business. Zaha Hadid's work has influenced millions of young architects throughout the world. She is the first women who was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize, which is the fields highest honor. Although she passed away last year, her work will continues to influence and inspire generations to come.
Public vs. Private Spaces
EXERCISE 1B.1: ROSENTHAL CONTEMPORARY ART CENTER
Circulation The interior and exterior circulation parallel eachother. The outside traffic flow brings people in right against the entrance, and proceeds to carry them out the meusum space.
Materiality The building comprises of three prominant materials. From a hierarchy from least to most used, black Aluminum was used for the volumetric masses, followed by glass, and most used concrete.
