WHAT IS ‘AN INDIAN SUMMER’? An Indian Summer is an annual festival that gives people of all backgrounds and ages the chance to experience the rich and varied culture of India. Through an enthralling mixture of film, food, music, dance, literature, talks and exhibitions that you have never seen before, An Indian Summer aims to break down the myths surrounding India and celebrate both the country, its people and their integration within the UK.

The exciting festival takes place over one weekend. However, variety of world class exhibitions will be launched and will continue for 2 weeks.

From learning how to cook a curry, drawing mendhi patterns to learning how to meditate, these workshops will engage a diverse range of people.
Using Leicestershire’s best cinema facilities, we will be honoring box office smashers to old classics that will leave viewers amazed.
