At a cost of US$1 trillion (£833 billion), the 487m high skyscraper will consist of 2 parallel, mirrored structures and other buildings which will accommodate 5 million people. Facilities will include vertical farming, a yacht marina and a sports stadium, as well as a high speed railway running underneath.

The plan is to create a technology-advanced and eco-friendly megacity that will attract investment and companies from around the world.

It will be 33 times the size of New York City and offer flying taxis, an artificial moon and hologram teachers. The aim is to welcome residents by 2030.
