IT&CMA 2022 Our First Hybrid Event Returns to Bangkok, Thailand
Our need for human communication forced us onto online apps to just keep in contact and try to keep up to date with what was happening elsewhere. Trying to maintain communication with customers was a need, not that any normal business could be done. It also gave insight into how customers felt about what were important at events and how they would come back in person or not at all in some cases.
No one was ready for this huge change in life and no one was ready to deal with working from home etc. Hopefully we will not have to be ready again, but we have learnt a lot and possibly that life is far too short to waste and communicating with everyone in any form is a must – we are human after all!

BUSINESS OF EVENTS PUBLISHES 2022 INTERNATIONAL PLANNER SENTIMENT REPORT
Following the 2022 programme launch, The Business of Events has published its 1st market sector report.
The International Planner Sentiment Report, surveyed 3 key business audiences from the international buyer community; Corporate Event Planners, Association Planners and Agency Planners from the UK, Western Europe and North America.
Respondents were asked what areas they considered to be important when selecting a destination or major venue in a post pandemic environment. The questions focussed on 12 specific areas, ranging from accessibility and ease of travel, to venue quality and suitability. Respondents were asked to rank each on a simple scale of 1 - 10, (1 being not very important and 10 very important).
