VIENNA, Austria to Dim Street Lighting

By 2023 G.C.C nations will be able to travel to the UK visa-free. They will be the first set of nations to use the new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) visa scheme. Under the ETA, nationals from the G.C.C. (The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain) will be eligible for visa-free travel to the UK, once the system begins at the end of 2022.

The ETA will be valid for multiple trips to the UK over a set period of time, which is yet to be confirmed.

DUBAI, U.A.E. SEES OVER 7 MILLION TOURISTS IN 1ST HALF OF 2022

Dubai welcomed over 7 million international visitors during the first half of 2022, a growth of over 183% on 2021 figures for the same period. It was also close to 2019 figures (8.36 million tourists).

Between January-June 2022, 34% of the 7.12 million tourists were from the Middle East and North Africa region, 22% from Western Europe, 16% from South Asia, and 11% from Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and Eastern Europe.
