DAY 1: BODØ ARRIVAL

Welcome to Northern Norway – you now find yourself above the Arctic Circle. Upon arrival in Bodø pick up your car at the Airport. 1x overnight at Thon Nordlys Hotel or similar.

DAY 2: BODØ – SØRVÅGEN (LOFOTEN ISLANDS

After breakfast, begin your adventure and embark on the ferry to Moskenes, which will take you to the southernmost tip of the Lofoten archipelago. You will spend the night in Sørvågen, a picturesque fishing village on the island of Moskenesøy. 1x overnight at Lofoten Rorbuhotell or similar.

DAY 3: SØRVÅGEN – SVOLVÆR

Enjoy your breakfast before setting off to discover this breathtaking archipelago, starting with the charming towns of Å and Reine. Your journey to Svolvær will take you through magnificent scenery, sheer, jagged mountain peaks towering over the sea, and windy roads that connect the tiny fishing villages scattered around the area. 1x overnight at Svinøya Rorbuer Hotel or similar.

DAY 4: SVOLVÆR – MELBU (HADSELØYA ISLAND)

Breakfast at the hotel and morning off to enjoy the village of Svolvær, considered the “capital of the Lofoten Islands”. Drive along the coast of Austvågøy island, reaching the town of Fiskebøl and embark on the ferry to Melbu, crossing the Hadselsfjord. 1x overnight at Melbu Hotell or similar

DAY 5: MELBU – ANDENES (VESTERÅLEN ISLANDS)

Today, you will continue your journey North to reach the Vesterålen Islands. Once in Andenes, you will join a unique Whale Watching Safari. Enjoy the arctic scenery and views when sailing to the beautiful islands of Andøy, Senja and Bleiksøy with its puffin bird colony in the background. On this excursion, you have the chance to observe many different species of whales, most commonly the sperm whale, but with luck (and depending on the season) maybe also killer whales, fin whales, pilot whales, white-sided dolphins and humpback whales. 1x overnight at Thon Andrikken Hotel or similar.

After breakfast, drive south along the coast, enjoying the breath-taking views of villages, bridges, beaches and fiords all the way to Narvik. 1x overnight at Scandic Narvik Hotel or similar.

DAY 7: NARVIK – TROMSØ

For outdoor enthusiasts, Tromsø offers many opportunities for activities such as hiking, fishing, kayaking and dog sledding and the chance to admire the midnight sun. This leg of the journey features impressive mountain peaks, vast open sea, sheltered bays, beaches and untouched landscapes all around. 1x overnight at Clarion the Edge Hotel or similar.

DAY 8: TROMSØ – SØRKJOSEN

Time to set off for the road towards North Cape! Today you will drive along highway E6 to the edge of Norway and reach the Sørkjosen village, nestled on the shores of the Reisafjord. 1x overnight at Reisafjord Hotel or similar.

DAY 9: SØRKJOSEN – ALTA

After breakfast, drive to Alta, a coastal town beautifully situated at the head of the Alta Fjord. Here you can visit Northern Europe’s largest rock carving site, included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List, and experience a fantastic view over the Alta Fjord. Visit the Alta Museum, a rock-carving site that illustrates the life of hunters and fishermen. 1x overnight at Scandic Alta Hotel or similar.

DAY 10: ALTA – HONNINGSVÅG (NORTH CAPE)

Continue the tour on to Honningsvåg, Norway’s northernmost city. Here you will find remarkable nature and a wide range of activities. We recommend the King Crab Safari, where you can participate in catching the crab and cooking it for lunch. In the evening, we recommend to drive to the North Cape Plateau and visit the North Cape Hall (entrance not included) to see the famous globe monument and enjoy the views over the Arctic Ocean. 1x overnight at Scandic Honningsvåg hotel or similar.

DAY 11: HONNINGSVÅG – ALTA

After breakfast, return to Alta, and go to the airport. Drop off your rental car at the airport.
