DAY 1: COPENHAGEN

Arrival in Copenhagen and individual transfer to the hotel. 2x overnights at Imperial Hotel or similar.

DAY 2: COPENHAGEN

After breakfast take a walk along Copenhagen´s historical buildings and ancient streets and discover the main attractions of this wonderful city. Explore the Danish capital’s picturesque Nyhavn canal, discover its historic buildings and relax in the oldest park in the city, King’s Garden. The dynamic capital features modern architecture, a labyrinth of canals, pretty narrow streets, and beautiful old homes. Highlights include the Little Mermaid statue, the Royal residence Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Castle, the home of the Danish Parliament, and the Royal Opera House. After some shopping on the pedestrian street Strøget, you may spend the evening in the magical Tivoli Gardens.

DAY 3: COPENHAGEN – ODENSE

Pick up your rental car and start your journey towards Odense. The city offers many exciting attractions for children as well as for adults. Soak up the atmosphere in Old Town, where you will find the Hans Christian Andersen Museum. The characters from his fairy tales come to life everywhere in the city; in parks and on the streets you will see sculptures by various artists, each one inspired by the author’s stories. Grab a map and go on a stroll around the city to experience the celebrated fairy tales for yourself. 1x overnight at Comwell Hotel H. C. Andersen or similar.

DAY 4: ODENSE – AARHUS

This morning, on the way to Aarhus we recommend a stop in Jelling to admire the famous Jelling rune stones. The Jelling Monument is one of Europe’s finest Viking monuments and a part of the UNESCO World Heritage patronage. At the museum “Kongernes Jelling” you can learn more about this exciting chapter in the nation’s history. 2x overnights at the Comwell Aarhus or similar.

DAY 5: AARHUS

Go on a fascinating journey back in time, visiting the open air museum “Gamle by” (the Old City), a unique attraction in Aarhus, where, in the summertime, you will meet actors re-enacting daily life in the 19th century Denmark (entrance included). We also recommend that you do not miss “Aaros”, the main art museum in Aarhus, and one of the largest in Northern Europe. Here you can enjoy a spectacular 360º rainbow panorama view.

DAY 6: AARHUS – AALBORG

Upon arrival in Aalborg, take a walk along the Limfjord and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere at the newly renovated waterfront, that was a highway for Viking longboats and today separates northernmost Denmark from the rest of the Jutland peninsula. 1x overnight at the Comwell Hvide Hus hotel or similar.

DAY 7: AALBORG – SKAGEN – COPENHAGEN

After breakfast in the hotel head to the famous Skagen region and stand in two seas at once at Grenen, Denmark’s northernmost point. This natural wonder of colliding seas can only be experienced in a few places in the world. Before heading to Copenhagen, you can also visit the inspiring museum and admire the world famous paintings by artists such as Michael and Anna Ancher and P.S. Krøyer. Drive back to Aarhus to catch the ferry back to Sjaelland. Upon arrival in Copenhagen drop off your rental car. 1x overnight at Imperial Hotel or similar.

DAY 8: COPENHAGEN

Transfer to the airport on your own for your departure flight.
