OPERATIONS MANAGER

About the position: You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will have the responsibility for their performance and satisfaction. Together with your clients you will develop authentic itineraries and create memories for their customers that will last a lifetime. You will be part of a team of passionate colleagues from all over the world, who stand together and help each other across departments. The position is in our office in Copenhagen.

Your Responsibilities: You will be creating tour programs for Groups and FIT, calculating prices and handling the tours in the Nordic countries. You will be driving sales, with the possibility of attending FAMtrips and working with our sistercompanies in the UK and Ireland. As an Operations Manager at Tour Partner Group you will have the following responsibilities:    

Communicating and coordinating with our clients and Scandinavian suppliers (hotels, coach companies, guides, restaurants etc.). Meeting our clients’ requirements and matching them with our product base to ensure the best experience for their customers. Ensuring that the price and margin of our offer is competitive and profitable within the company's pricing guidelines. Communicating with our valued suppliers (hotels, coach companies, guides and restaurants) to ensure the tour runs smoothly.

We are looking for the following skills & experience:   

   

You have high level of written and spoken English. For a position within the Italian/Spanish/French/German departments, we expect that you are fluent within the respective language, both written and spoken. Ideally you are experienced with operating groups, small groups or accommodation packages, but most importantly you have experience from a job where you are used to optimizing and coordinating activities in a dynamic environment. An academy education or master degree in the tourism/service industries or similar practical experience are advantageous but not mandatory. You are self-driven, responsible and structured. You have an eye for the interaction between your own area and the company's other activities, and you also place great emphasis on good cooperation with external partners. You have an IT flair.
