EXECUTIVE REPORT JULY 2021

Project Update

Walker Lane Repairs As part of our Annual Street Maintenance program, repairs are ongoing eastbound portion of Walker Lane over the next several weeks. Impact on the roadway occurs just before the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and Walker Lane. There is no crossover traffic from the Lowe’s parking lot left onto Walker, it is a right turn only. The eastbound turn lane is available but shortened. Other repairs are near Fire Station #2. Please use caution when traveling through the area. The tentative end date for this project is August 11.

SPOTLIGHT

My name is Garret Giordano and I joined the Little Elm team in July as a GIS Analyst. I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and my graduate certificate in GIS from Penn State World Campus. Before coming to Little Elm, I did utility GIS work with Denver Water and the City of Brighton in Colorado. My favorite hobbies are PC gaming, RC cars/trucks, and keeping reef aquariums, which you can see here!

My name is Angela King-Bush and I was hired in July as the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Fire Department. I recently retired from the City of Weatherford after ten years, nine of which were with the Fire Department. I’ve seen it all and done the rest, so my favorite hobby now is R&R. I take great pleasure in listening to music and audible books. I enjoy taking care of my Manx and Bengal, and most of all, I enjoy talking to my grandsons in California.
