SEUL CHOIX POINT LIGHTHOUSE Following the blacktopped Port Inland Road to the graveled Seul Choix Road brings visitors to the former Coast Guard Lighthouse standing at the tip of the rocky point. Green lawns circling the over 115-year-old tower and picnic tables under shade trees gives the grounds a park-like atmosphere. Years ago the Point was a natural stopping place for voyagers, the French fur traders who made their way along the big lake in their canoes. For over a century, the light atop the tall white brick tower has faithfully flashed a warning to ships on Lake Michigan.
