We are confident that whether you are here for business or pleasure, we have exactly what you need to ensure your stay is a complete success. As a full service hotel, we have everything under one roof. Had a long car ride and could use a little pick me up? Check out our new Sweet Shop located in the lobby of the hotel. If you would like to exercise, our expanded fitness center will be perfect for you. With three treadmills, two ellipticals, one recumbent bike, free weights, and yoga mats, there is definitely something for everyone. If you enjoy swimming, or a relaxing soak, our hotel features the area’s largest indoor swimming pool and whirlpool. In addition, we have added a new sauna that is now ADA accessible. Your stay wouldn’t be complete without visiting My Place Restaurant and Bar. We offer a full breakfast with tantalizing, made-to-order favorites to begin your day. Dinner service features popular entrees, along with sandwiches, salads, and house-made pizzas; all prepared by our talented culinary team with a touch of local flair! Your overall satisfaction with our hotel and team is very important. If, for any reason, you cannot rate us a “10” on the IHG Corporate Survey (10 is the highest), please feel free to contact our Director of Sales by calling 906-315-4224 or 906-362-0757. Fire Safety & Traveler Safety In the rare event of a fire, stay calm and follow these simple procedures:

Play It Safe! 1. Don’t leave luggage unattended anywhere, and avoid using your full name and address on your baggage I.D. tags.

1. Grab your room key and prepare to leave. If there’s any evidence of smoke in the room, roll out of your bed and crawl to the door. Don’t stand; smoke and deadly gases rise. Feel the door with the palm of your hand. If the door is hot, don’t open it. If the door is not hot, open it slowly and be ready to slam it shut if necessary.

2. When you’re in your automobile, make certain your doors are locked at all times. When you’re in a hotel room, use all of the locking devices provided. 3. Avoid displaying large amounts of cash. 4. Be observant. Look around before entering parking lots. Park near lighted walkways when possible.

2. If you cannot leave your room, fill the tub with water. Wet towels and sheets. You’ll need them to put around doors and cracks if smoke seeps in. Use your ice bucket to bail water.

5. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle or hotel room. Place valuables in the hotel safety deposit box.

3. Get fresh air. Make a tent over your head with a blanket at a slightly opened window to get fresh air. If the windows do not open, you may have to break one out with a chair or drawer. If heat and flames are rising outside the window from a lower floor, don’t breathe smoke-laden air.

6. If you see any suspicious activity, report it to the proper authorities. 7. Don’t answer the door in a hotel or motel room without verifying who it is. If a person claims to be an employee, call the Front Desk and ask if someone from their staff is supposed to have access to your room and for what purpose.

4. KEEP LOW! If your room becomes untenable, you may be forced to make for the best exit, but remember to keep low and stay calm.

8. Don’t look vulnerable or lost. Walk with a purpose and stay alert to what’s happening around you. 9. Use traveler’s checks and credit cards instead of cash whenever possible. Take only those credit cards you need. 10. Carry your purse close to your body - don’t let it dangle. Carry your wallet in an inside coat or front trouser pocket.
