The Jan Powers Farmers Markets in front of the powerhouse, Lamington St Newfarm every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 6 till 12.

We bring the country to the city with farm fresh fruit and veg, fresh juices, ginger beer, popcorn, honey, bread, biscuits, bagels, fresh pasta, hot smoked salmon, meat, seafood, small goods and of course hot foods from around the world.. Forget soul food, enjoy Soil food in the city every Wednesday. – When: Every Wednesday 6AM – 6PM – Where: Queen Street Mall, Bridge End MITCHELTON Jan Powers Farmers Markets Blackwood St Mitchelton on the first Sunday of every month from 6am to 12pm. All of Mitchelton and the surrounding area turn out for a packed street market with over 140 stalls to tempt you with all you will need to be a Masterchef! bring the family and enjoy food from around the world! – When: First Sunday of each month 6am – Noon – Where: Blackwood Street, Mitchelton (Between Samford Rd & Mitchelton Train Station

Brisbane is home to the Jan Powers Farmers Markets, Currently we have 4 local Brisbane Farmers Markets; the Brisbane City Markets, Powerhouse, Manly Farmers Markets and Mitchelton Markets. All of our Markets in Brisbane are colourful and bustling, selling fresh farm produce flowers breads artisan products meat fish poultry plants organics and food related objects… It’s a feel good grass roots experience with a social and community slant and a lot of fun.

Our Brisbane Markets are not exclusively done by, or for farmers. It is not a farmers market co-operative. We have a number of city folk selling too, and a lot of exotic products and hold special promotions, entertaining events and chefs give cooking classes.
