THE BIMMER MONTHLY JULY 2019 This month brought to you by: Upcoming Events RACQ Motorfest - BMWCQ Show of Excellence Sunday 14 July, 8:00 AM

The BMW Club Queensland display at RACQ Motorfest each year is one of the largest at the event and certainly one of the most prominent, popular, interesting, colourful and fun. Members' entry is free. This is your club's annual SHOW OF EXCELLENCE. All cars will be place in appropriate klasses and categories for judging. Minor prizes will be awarded on the day and major Klasse winners announced at the Celebrations & Awards Night in September.

Presidents Message Now that the new management has been in place since the AGM in May, we have run a number of successful events and had one meeting at Westside BMW. As part of some new initiatives, this monthly newsletter is a way of keeping everyone up to date and promote our events and sponsors. Another trial we have implemented is live streaming of the monthly meeting. This will give every club member the opportunity to watch via our BMWCQ Facebook page and comment live if you see fit. Also, let us know what you would like to see in this newsletter, It’s your club, please take advantage of it. Gary C.J. Schweikert #1522 0419 033675

5th Annual ICC Charity Day Regularity

Round 6 Btuned Sprint Series with Porsche Club

Saturday 20 July 7:30AM - 4:00PM

We have been invited to join the Porsche Club for their second visit to the glorious Morgan Park circuit for the year. We have been offered our own run group for the day, so we will need the numbers to fill the group. This time of the year is a winter wonderland on the Downs so why not make a weekend of it with the family.

On Sunday 9th June, BMW Club Queensland hosted the 5th Annual ICC Regularity Challenge charity fund raising event at Lakeside. We are proud to announce that we were able to raise and donate $10,000.00 which has been shared with our two nominated charities, The Pyjama Foundation and Pay A Sack Forward. Thank you to the management & staff of Lakeside, and all of the supporting clubs‌MX5, 86, Porsche, Triumph, Holden Sporting Cars, Lotus and of course BMWCQ.
