GRANDE PUNTO HITS footsteps of two highly THE MILLION MARK popular cars – the original Punto (from 1993 to 1999) IN THREE YEARS On 21 November 2008, The one millionth Grande Punto has just rolled off the production line at Fiat’s factory in Melfi, Italy. Built in right-hand drive form and destined for the UK market, the millionth Grande Punto is a Passionate Red Sporting version equipped with Fiat’s potent 1.4 T-Jet 120 bhp turbo petrol engine. Grande Punto was launched in 2005, following in the
of which 3,500,000 were built, and the second series (launched in 1999 and currently still on sale in some markets under the name Punto Classic), whose production exceeded three million. A successful model across Western Europe, the 2008 Grande Punto has recently been improved with the adoption of several new features aimed especially at younger drivers. The sports line (GP and Sporting) ac-
counts for a quarter of total sales, while 14 per cent of these drivers customise their cars with their own choice of stickers. Standard Blue&Me handsfree telecommunications and entertainment equipment across the entire UK range, means that Grande Punto is eco:Drive enabled. Available with 1.4-litre 8v and 16v petrol, and 1.3 and 1.9 MultiJet diesel engines, the 2008 Grande Punto range starts at £9,250 for the 1.4 8v Active, rising to £14,350 for the 1.9 MultiJet 130 Sporting.

Subaru’s award-winning Boxer Diesel engine
SUBARU’S LEAN, GREEN, RECESSION-BUSTING MACHINES Subaru’s award-winning Boxer Diesel engine – now available throughout the Legacy, Outback and Forester model range – offers the perfect fast, fun and frugal automotive experience for the current economic climate. Lean (50.4mpg for the Legacy Saloon, 44.8mpg for the Forester), green (148g/ km for the Legacy 2.0D R, 167g/km CO2 Forester 2.0D X) and with a class-leading insurance rating of 9 for the Forester X/ XC, the Boxer Diesel engine is the perfect engine for modern motoring; offering an unrivalled blend of performance and economy. Top Gear presenter, James May recently discovered the multiple delights of the Boxer Diesel for himself, on a televised European road trip from Basel to Blackpool. Managing to get a Legacy 2.0D REn Sports Tourer to return an astonishing 63mpg, he made full use of the enormous 700+ mile range this engine can offer;
10
perfect for efficient cross-country coverage. No other competitor in class can match either the Legacy 2.0D R’s 50.4mpg, or the Forester 2.0D X’s combined 44.8mpg for fuel economy, nor can they better the engine’s class leading, green CO2 ratings, meaning annual Road Fund Licences are also kept low, at just £120 for the Legacy and £170 for the Forester. Coupled with Subaru’s tried and tested, WRC-derived, brilliant symmetrical All Wheel-Drive system and the notoriously lightweight, low centre of gravity Boxer engine/transmission layout, the innovative Legacy and Forester Boxer Diesels are in a league of their own – offering a unique, economical, refined, stylish and engaging driving experience. Prices for the Legacy start at £19,995 and the Forester starts at £20,295, on-theroad.
Golf Buggy Bonanza
FORD PASSES ON FULL VAT SAVINGS
More than 450 used buggies descended on Banbury in recent weeks for two sales organised by Manheim Auctions for Mox UK Ltd. The 453 lots offered for auction included golf buggies, electric transfer (4, 6 and 8 seaters) and golf course maintenance vehicles. Manheim has organised four auctions this year for Mox UK Ltd., a subsidiary of LeasePlan Corporation, and is scheduled to organise three auctions next year. So far more than 1,600 buggies have been sold by Manheim Auctions since 2004. Buyers at the latest auction in Banbury included golf buggy dealers, golf courses, buggy hire companies and farmers. The auctions exceeded expectations with nearly 90% of lots offered sold.
Ford Motor Company Limited confirms that the full benefit of the 2.5 per cent reduction in VAT announced in the Chancellor’s pre-Budget statement yesterday, will be passed on to its passenger car customers. Furthermore Ford will action the savings at all its UK dealerships nationwide with immediate effect on car orders, provided payment and legal transfer takes place on or after the December 1 official start date. The new 15 per cent VAT rate will remain in place until the end of 2009, and is applied on all new Ford cars including the recently-launched all-new Fiesta, where it represents a saving of approximately £200. Customers can expect to save around £350 on a £15,000 Ford Focus and £500 on a Ford Mondeo, S-MAX or Galaxy. Existing Ford owners will also save money on Ford’s parts and service prices, which also benefit from the 2.5 per cent tax reduction.
First official photos of the Panamera, the unique four-seater....
Porsche Presents The Four-Door Panamera Gran Turismo Conceived and designed as a four-door grand touring sports car, the Panamera combines numerous talents in typical Porsche style: sporting driving dynamics, a generous and versatile interior, and the supreme driving comfort of a Gran Turismo. Joining the 911, Boxster and Cayman sports cars and the four-wheel drive Cayenne, the Panamera is officially the fourth Porsche model series. In its styling and details, the Panamera follows the design philosophy refined over decades on the 911 and successfully implemented also on the Boxster, Cayman and
Cayenne. The luggage compartment easily takes every passenger’s baggage, the interior’s ‘variable space concept’ with its folding rear seat backrests enabling the driver and passengers to adjust the luggage space individually to their personal requirements. The coupé tailgate in the sporting rear end combines superior versatility for daily use with stylish elegance. The new four-door Porsche Panamera gran turismo will be making its world debut in spring 2009, and the first models will be arriving in Porsche Centres worldwide from late summer next year.

MITSUBISHI WINS APPEAL AND CONFIRMS ENTRY IN WALES RALLY GB Guy Wilks’ Rally Yorkshire victory reinstated
The Mitsubishi Motors UK works Rally Team is delighted to announce that its appeal against Guy Wilks’ exclusion from September’s Rally Yorkshire was upheld at a Motor Sports Council National Court hearing on Wednesday 26th November. The decision sees Wilks and his codriver David Moynihan reinstated as winners of the event, which represented round six of the Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship. Consequently, the team’s points score is also reinstated,

which means it now has the opportunity of challenging to retain its British Driver’s and Team’s titles at this year’s Wales Rally GB. The circumstance which brought about Wilks’ initial exclusion was a protest alleging that the upper part of his car’s steering column did not comply to Group N regulations. However, the MSC National Court agreed that although it was not the homologated item, it complied with Appendix J of the FIA International Sporting Code, article 254, section
6.7.3, which states that the controls may be adapted to facilitate their use and accessibility. After crossing the line one-anda-half minutes ahead of his rivals in Yorkshire, Wilks was over the moon to hear that his deserving victory had been reinstated and was delighted that he now has the opportunity challenge for the championship title for the second year in succession:
WORLD DEBUT FOR ALL-NEW MAZDA3 5-DOOR HATCHBACK AT THE 2008 BOLOGNA MOTOR SHOW
Mazda Motor Corporation will showcase the world premiere of the all-new Mazda3 (known as Mazda Axela in Japan) 5-door hatchback at the Bologna Motor Show on December 3, 2008. The second generation Mazda3 5-door hatchback follows rapidly on the heels of the new 4-door saloon version, currently on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The all-new Mazda3 5-door hatchback adopts the same fresh characteristics as its saloon counterpart, offering sporty driving and a dynamic design, together with top class environmental and safety performance.
Environment-friendly qualities were top of mind at Mazda R&D during new Mazda3’s development, including more efficient powertrains, Mazda-typical weight saving engineering solutions and fine tuned ‘best in class’ aerodynamics. The new engine line-up has been tailored for European customers and now includes the newly developed 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine, recently launched in the new Mazda6, in addition to the existing 1.6and 2.0-litre petrol engines and the popular 1.6-litre turbo diesel.
The new 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine is a high-performance clean diesel powerplant with top class output, fuel economy and refinement. It will be offered in two variants, a high power version with a maximum output of 185 PS, and a standard power version with a maximum output of 150 PS. Both have outstanding clean emissions performance and comply with the Euro Stage5 regulations. Fuel economy and CO2 emissions are also greatly improved compared to the current 2.0-litre diesel model.

Lamborghini Gal
llardo SE
The Lamborghini Gallardo was already a successful supercar, but they decided to make a SE ( Special Edition ) limited to 250 units. Two-toned body paint, sporty interior and some technical improvements make the Gallardo SE an even better Gallardo. Coming well equipped with a permanent 4WD, 6 speed gearbox, aluminium space frame, ESP and ASR, ABS, ABD, air conditioning, as well as two front and two side airbags which are always handy, but I’m sure you wouldn’t want to ever have to use them, well not on purpose anyways. Arancio Borealis is the name of the lovely Orange colour on the Gallardo SE. Nero Noctis is the black colouring on the roof, engine bonnet, front/rear spoiler, and the two side mirrors making the Gallardo SE stand out from the norm. Slightly tinted rear lights, “Callisto” rims which look stunning, and coloured brake callipers also complete the Gallardo SE package. Continuing the two-tone approach, the interior piping, stitching match the outer body colour of the car, “ Lamborghini “ embossed on the headrests. The interior stands out again from the previous edition of the Gallardo. Rear View 21
camera as standard, along with the multimedia screen entertainment unit, sports suspension, sports steering wheel amongst lots of other standard Gallardo features. The Lamborghini script is also preciously inserted into the dashboard. The 5.0Litre V10 520bhp will thrust you from 0-60mph in a lightening 4.1 seconds. Getting to 0-60 around the 4 second mark takes allot of work, turning off the ESP and putting the car into 22
“Sport” setting, and well then floor the throttle with your “ heavy “ right foot and hold on! And then listen to the orchestra that comes free with the car, this being the engine and exhaust, probably the most amazing sound on earth. We hunted around all day for a tunnel to list to the noise of the Lamborghini engine, but unfortunately we were not successful. If it was me, I personally would never turn on the sound system in the Lamborghini, why would you not want to listen
that gorgeous V10. Everywhere you go in any Lamborghini, people will turn around, wave, shout “ nice car mate “ ,and well Yes it is! Park up somewhere fairly busy, and you will get a crowd, if I had a £1 for everyone who took a picture of the car, well I could personally afford one! We would love to compare the Gallardo SE with the latest -
Lamborghini LP560/4, hopefully we can organise something in 2009. The Lamborghini Gallardo SE is one beautiful car, if you get to see one, stop, look, and listen, not as if you were going to cross a road, because once you have listened, you will smile! We will be uploading some video footage we took so keep an eye out on our YouTube channel : www.youtube.com/tarmagazine

NEW MINI
The new MINI Convertible
Photograph’s From MINI
Article by David
29
The new MINI Convertible is set to make a welcome return to UK roads in 2009, with a completely new version of the British-built favourite due to go on sale on 28 March 2009. MINI Cooper and Cooper S derivatives featuring
30
innovative engine technologies will be offered at launch, meaning fans of the compact, premium new MINI Convertible are guaranteed performance, frugality, minimal running costs and a unique image as standard. The MINI Cooper Convertible will be
priced at ÂŁ15,995 OTR and the MINI Cooper S Convertible will be offered from ÂŁ18,995 OTR. The first-generation MINI Convertible experienced remarkable sales success in Britain and was a best seller in the UK in the small convertible seg-
ment between 2004 and 2008. Approximately 164,000 MINI Convertibles were delivered to owners around the world during its lifecycle. Demand for its successor, complete with an array of technological and design advances, is sure to be strong.
The unique aesthetics of MINI are clearly present in the new MINI Convertible. With a raised shoulder line, highlighted by a chrome strip which extends around the body of the car, the new MINI Convertible has a more purposeful
and dynamic stance than its predecessor. The low roofline, wheels in each corner and short overhangs at both the front and rear of the car denote the MINI Convertible’s sporting intent. Exclusive to the new drop-top will be two allnew colours to feature
31
on a MINI. Interchange Yellow and Horizon Blue will make their debuts on the secondgeneration new MINI Convertible. Contrasting roof options add visual appeal to the newcomer, and British customers will be able to pick from Black, Denim Blue and Hot Chocolate when specifying their perfect MINI. The automatic canvas roof of the second-generation new MINI Convertible can be fully retracted or closed using a roof-frame mounted toggle switch in just 15 seconds. In the event of a driver being caught unexpectedly by a sudden downpour, this function will fully operate with the car at speeds of up to 20 mph. As an alternative to the complete top-down driving experience, the full-width of the electric roof can be retracted by approximately 40 centimetres to create the effect of a sunroof. This function can be operated at speeds of up to 75
32
mph. A unique feature typical of MINI will be the Openometer. Offered as an option, the Openometer records the time spent by the owner driving with the top down, meaning passengers can measure their visual coolness inside, even if it’s cold outside. Unlike its predecessor’s fixed antiroll bars the new model features a single-piece roll bar situated behind the rear seats, ensuring passenger safety in the event of a crash. The roll bar will extend in milliseconds at the point of impact to protect the car’s occupants should the car overturn. Remarkably, this new arrangement in no way obstructs the driver’s line of visibility when looking out of the rear window. The case for the new MINI Convertible is strengthened further by the presence of award-winning engines, allied to short-shifting and precise six-speed manual gearboxes.
Both models are available as an option with a sixspeed automatic transmission. The MINI Cooper Convertible is fitted with a four-cylinder petrol engine with fully variable valve management, using technology based on BMW Group’s VALVETRONIC technology. The MINI Cooper S Convertible is powered by a four-cylinder petrol engine with Twin-Scroll turbocharger and direct fuel injection. This engine currently holds the title of International Engine of the Year, in the 1.4-1.8litre category. The second-generation new MINI Convertible will be built in Britain. The body shells will be pressed at MINI Plant Swindon, the engines will be built at BMW Group Hams Hall and assembly of the entire cars will take place at MINI’s Plant Oxford production facility, alongside the MINI Hatch and MINI Clubman. We look forward to reviewing it when its released.

The Classic Cutaways The iconic cutaway illustrations on the front covers of Haynes car manuals have been an unmistakable identifying feature for more than 40 years. Nowadays the cutaways are produced electronically from a series of digital photographs, but for 20 years they were all handdrawn in pen and ink, with nothing more than the traditional instruments - mostly by one man, with an attention to intricate detail which would have justified a far larger image than the manual cover allowed. Now this collection of 100 classic cutaways has been assembled in book form, allowing the full quality of the drawings to be appreciated for the first time. The selection reflects the make-up of the British car population in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and will bring back memories for many readers.
HAYNES DESK DIARY It can not be argued that a diary is one of life’s most simple, yet essential tools that gets us all through our day smoothly. However, they don’t have a reputation for an interesting readuntil now. With the Haynes 2009 Desk Diary, the classic cutaways and model descriptions will have you engrossed for hours, unlike that meeting that you are supposed to be scheduling in! Each double page offers a week-toview with the month, dates and days identified clearly. Edge-of-page markers aid quick reference to particular months and there is also a ribbon page marker. The new Haynes Desk Diary, January to December 2009 is perfect for all car enthusiasts and would make an ideal Christmas present. It is available now from all good car accessory retailers or can be ordered from www.haynes.co.uk

The Mitsubishi Outl a n d e r, t o m a k e i t e a s y, just four models availa b l e ; E q u i p p e , Wa r r i o r, Elegance and Diamond m o d e l . We g o t t o r e view the Diamond mode l , t h e To p D o g m o d e l ! 2.2 Diesel with 6-speed manual transmission with 154bhp, with a respectable 0-62 time of 10.8 seconds max speed 118mph. Fuel economy is good for such a big vehicle reaching 38.7 mpg. What is amazing about this car is v a l u e f o r m o n e y, p r i c e d around £26k you get all o t f o r y o u r m o n e y. I will get into detail later on. We h a v e r e v i e w e d a f e w M i t s u b i s h i ’s i n t h e p a s t , and we always get positive feedback from you guys. If you are looking for a SUV/4x4 you do have allot of options now-a-days, from the To y o t a R a v 4 , H o n d a C RV, and even the Subaru F o r e s t e r. A f t e r d r i v i n g the Subaru and the Mits u b i s h i i t ’s a c l o s e c a l l . The Ride comfort in the M i t s u b i s h i i s s m o o t h e r, but then fuel economy is less. So its a hard choice. What made this car stand out from the rest is its amazing list of standard features. 51
Active stability & traction control, alarm & k e y l e s s e n t r y, e l e c t r i c windows and door mirrors, CD/MP3, ABS plus EBD, electric windows and door mirrors, height a d j u s t a b l e d r i v e r ’s s e a t and air conditioning are all standard, however the model we had, well has rather allot more! The Diamond model g e t s a Ro c k f o r d F o s gate™ 650W 9-speaker premium audio system with a Sub woofer in the boot which kicks out the bass, the satellite navigation system/head unit also incorporates a 30gb hard disc drive which will hold your music so saves hassle with lots of C D ’s , e t c . I f o u n d t h e system easy to use, both the sat nav and audio functions. If you didn’t think that spec was enough, the Diamond model also adds some rear entertainment for the kids, or adults. A roof mounted DVD system, which has wireless headphones, and also a games pad to play some classic games which can keep you entertained on long journeys. If for some reason the other passengers in the car wish to listen to the 52
music from the rear DVD system, it has a built in F M m o d u l a t o r, s o t u r n i n the radio in the front, and Bingo, you have sound! Whither you are watching a DVD ( whilst parked ), listening to the radio, an mp3 from the 30gb hard drive, the sound system is of such g r e a t b u i l d q u a l i t y. T h e a d d e d S u b Wo o f e r r e a l l y gives the sound system that extra kick. This Mitsubishi Outlander is actually onto its second generation, unfortunate we never got to drive the first generation so we can’t really compare them. But along with the L200, and Shogun ( which we hope to review next month ) spearheads the c o m p a n y ’s a t t a c k o n t h e ever expanding 4x4 mark e t s e c t o r. A f t e r d r i v ing the L200, and the Evo-X, build quality is continued throughout the Mitsubishi range which is fantastic. Even things like gaining access to the folding rear seats can be done with e a s e , i t ’s l i k e t h e y r e a l ly are customer focused as to how easy things are to operate. Simple things like having permanent 2 wheel drive helps reduce fuel consumption, and when you
53
notice the road conditions worsening, or you are going on a gravel road, you just flick the car into four-wheeldrive. The other thing that baffles me is, when driving on country roads at 50-60mph, and you come up to a tight bend, your mind thinks “ I’m in a 4x4, I better slow down “, but due to the amaz54
ing set up on the O u t l a n d e r, i t g o e s around the corner just like an ordin a r y c a r. T h e C o m puter system which is in-corporate with S a t N a v, s t e r e o c o n trols, etc in the front, has an amazing trip computer f a c i l i t y, i t s h o w s everything from fuel consumption, average speed, outside temperature, trip distance, odometers. The
computer system is touch screen, and well anybody can operate it. Another amazing feature, stick the car into reverse, and on the screen appears the reversing camera which is very accurate, however you always look just to double check. Wo r k s g r e a t i n b o t h day light, and night time.
The car itself is stylish, modern, and even includes chrome package which makes the Diamond model stand out. Compare it to its competition, and i think it wins hands d o w n . I t ’s n o t a b i g car to drive, some cars when you drive them feel wide, big, etc. But this just feels like a normal c a r, p a r k i n g i s d o n e with ease. Styling has been inspired by
t h e 2 0 0 2 Pa j e r o E v o 2+2 concept, its so hard to believe that with a commanding driving position of a n o f f - r o a d e r, g r e a t ground clearance, car-like dimensions, and a small carbon footprint, an amazing 7 seat cabin space and the ability to drive like a r o a d c a r, b u t t h e n go off road as and when required, a multi-media package to please both
driver and passengers, and all of this is available for around ÂŁ26k, you would be fairly mad to check out its competitors. I do however suggest you get yourself to your nearest Mits u b i s h i d e a l e r, a n d check this car out for yourself.

Subaru Forester We got to spend a week with the all new Subaru Forester diesel, how well did it perform? Well you are about to find out.

Based on the curre platform, the all n Forester looks mor off-roader. The Fo Always had mixed about its looks wit versions, but until driven one, don’t on one. It was my driving the Foreste be honest, when it was stunned. Okay like maroon cars, ing past the paint have a big spaciou importantly you ha new Diesel 2.0L fo turbo-charged “bo Subaru have antici the all new Forest count for 80% of it will make a big im the compact SUV M we agree with this

What’s impressive about the all new diesel “boxer” engine is you actually will get over 40mpg on short runs, long runs, motorway journeys, etc. In terms of performance between the petrol and diesel versions of the Forester, the Diesel has 145bhp with the petrol’s 148bhp. The Diesel however wins hands down when it comes to fuel economy, with an amazing 44mpg for the Diesel, compared to the Petrol’s 33mpg. Even more impressive is the response this car gives you, with permanent four-wheel-drive the Forester can tackle most situations and road conditions. Equipment on even the standard levels is enough to keep you occupied including; cruise-control, climate control, self levelling rear sus-
pension, radio/CD player, fog lamps, heated front seats ( which heat up nice and quickly on cold winter mornings ), electric windows all round, and ample air bags for driver, passenger’s. The Forester we had, had the Keyless smart entry system with push button start. This comes in handy if carrying something to the car, you can unlock the car by pressing the button on the door if you don’t have your hands free to press the keys ( although you would need the keys in your pocket for it to work ). Once in the car, foot on the clutch, and a green light comes on the push start button, and you’re ready to go! The Forester is now in competition with the likes of the
63
Toyota Rav4, Nissan’s X-Trail, Honda’s CRV, and the Mitsubishi Outlander. All the cars are similar in size, engine spec, and equipment. The New Forester is now 75mm Longer, 45mm Wider and 110mm in height. An amazingly sized boot, more leg room, and a higher drivers eye-line help make this Forester a good all round car. With permanent fourwheel-drive, the Forester is ideal if you stay out in the sticks and regularly drive on slippery, wet, muddy roads. You will find that the Forester offers endless amounts of grip, but also pull out of the corners, the new suspension set up body roll is kept to a minimum, and keeps you nice and comfy. The car is great fun to drive, the seating position can be changed with ease with electric seating, and as mentioned earlier the front heated seats are a real bonus on cold winter mornings. The Car we had featured the touch screen satnav/ DVD based option. Easy to use, also included a easy to read full consumption gauge,
64
which you can monitor your current and overall fuel consumption. Which is scary when sitting at 70mph and its reading 41+ mpg. X, XC, and XSN are the three new trim models available on the all new Subaru Forester. With all models including alloy wheels, all round electric windows, plenty airbags, climate control, CD/ radio, and much more. XC adds larger alloys, roof spoiler, large sunroof. XSN adds SatNav, leather seats and start push button. Prices on the Subaru Forester start from around £19k, also with insurance group as low as 9E makes the Forester an all round great purposeful car! I’ve decided to give the Subaru Forester Diesel 4 out of 5, for a 2Litre turbo-charged “boxer” diesel engine to produce 40+mpg, to look modern, stylish, to be comfy on long and short journeys, it’s an all round great SUV. For more details, check out www.subaru. co.uk or pop into your local dealer for a test drive, its definitely worth it!

MIKE CARTER PHOTOGRAPHY - We have met up with Mike and we have put together some questions and answers along with some examples of his work!.....
Photograph’s by Mike
Article by David

When did you get into photography? I’ve been interested in photography since I was little. My uncle has been a keen photographer for over 25 years and I’ve always admired his work. I was only able to get into it in a big way a few years ago when I could afford a decent digital SLR camera. Since then I’ve taken photos of all sorts of things, from spiders in Arizona to waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales. These days it’s something anyone can learn with a little bit of money and because everything is digital now, it doesn’t cost anything to make mistakes!
How did you know you wanted to be a professional photographer? It was never something I really considered when I was young. I did a computer programming related degree at university and since I graduated I’ve been working as a web developer, which is still my 9-5 job. When I’m not at work I love to get out with my camera, even when it’s not for freelance work. The varying weather in England, while a pain in the arse for some, makes sure that you get a wide variety of differently styled photos throughout the year.
What made you choose automotive photography compared to landscapes or weddings? While I don’t like to label myself as purely an automotive photographer, I think there are some beautiful looking cars out there, and as long as they’re done up in the right way, with good taste in mind, they can make for cracking photos. I think landscape and automotive photography can go hand in hand. I like to combine the two and have a lovely landscape providing the backdrop to a great car photograph.
Is there anyone you look up to for inspiration for your photography? Just about the entire Flickr community! There are some awesome photos on Flickr, and it’s a great way to share your photos with others and get some feedback while you’re at it. Other than that, I have friends and family who are into photography so it’s good to see their work and share ideas.

Has anyone helped you on your way? I’ve always looked up to my uncle for advice, as he’s been into photography for so long. But the internet is such a great resource for helping yourself when it comes to learning new things.
town. We ended up 20 miles into the desert doing a recce of the rally stages in our brand new hire car. After about an hour we hit a muddy patch, slid our car into a rock and spent the next 2 days cleaning it to make sure we didn’t get charged!
What is the oddest car you have photographed?
What cars have you photographed?
Probably the 1970 Ford Bronco I photographed while in America. My mate and I were volunteering at a rally at the time, so we went up a few days early in our hire car to meet the head volunteers. When they told us we’d be a road block, we assumed the rally went through a small 84
I’ve photographed loads of cars! Do you want me to list the lot?! =)
What car would you love to photograph? I’ve not photographed a supercar yet. I’d love to take photos of a Lamborghini or the Bugatti Veyron. I just need to
find someone who has one!
Where can people see your work?
On my Flickr page http://www.flickr. com/photos/threepwood/ There’s not a great deal of photos there, but there’s a taster of my collection. Flickr is such a great tool for a range of photographers from amateurs to professionals. It can be used for showcasing your work and getting feedback on your photos. There’s also groups which you can use to receive, and ask for, advice on photographic techniques.
