This Rural Route daughter is out of a heifer we purchased from Thor Nelson in MN. Her mother was Champion Red Angus Female at the Sioux Empire Farm Show. This heifer is long, super extended, flat shouldered and sound. She will bring added growth and performance to the table. I think she would be hard to overlook if you chose to show her next summer.

This Detour heifer is out of a first-calf Goldmaster heifer. She more than exceeded our expectations with a 106 weaning ratio. Deep cherry red, bold sprung, top it off with mammoth feet and legs. Best part is, she is cat sound. Breed her to Takeover and make magic happen. 718’s grandma, 1005, is a full sister to the Reserve Champion Female in Denver 2009. Her great grandma is 16 and is still in production. They look good and last!

This one is my kind! Soft, square and sound. Very maternal in her kind, yet gives you a stout look from all angles. She started out with a 77 lb birth weight with a ratio of 99 and weaned off at 640 lbs with a 104 ratio. She’s passed the test! This is my favorite Cinch heifer we had this year. It’s no surprise because 6024 doesn’t miss. She had a $5,500 bull last year going to Travis Barnes in IA. We also have retained four daughters. If you want to show her, great, she’ll have a bright future regardless. Retaining half embryo interest.

This February show heifer prospect heifer has been a stand out since day one. The Kashmir cow family has never missed for us and it shows here. Here is a female that is built as good as any, yet has the power and mass to be a great cow prospect. The Durango x Card Shark mating has worked great for us and the quality that 05E brings to the table is unique. To top it off she is puppy dog gentle, great for a first time showman.

We’ve liked this one all summer long and like her more every day. She excels in her center dimension and ties into a flat shoulder with tremendous extension through her front one third. This Detour daughter is hard to miss. She is big outlined, cool fronted and has a killer hip and hind two. This cow family has made a big splash here. 739’s brother brought $5500 in the 2017 bull sale, and her maternal sister had a $8000 bull in 2015 and a $8000 Shark heifer at the 2016 LIR. Lot 8 will definitely show, but more importantly you are going to have one hella good looking and productive cow when you kick her out!

We did not regret our decision to use Cinch as we were calving our heifers and continued to be pleased as we weaned them. This dark red beauty is good at the ground, big hipped and long-spined. Her young dam is a full sib to WDZ CF No Doubt, the 2015 NAILE Reserve Champion bull. A breeding piece, a show heifer, or both; this one will work.

For those of you that are wanting dive into the Red Angus breed, here’s your chance. This heifer has looked the part since day one. There is no guess work here. Her full brother Reform brought $50,000 in the bull sale selling to 6 Mile Red Angus of Canada and VF Red Angus of Oregon. Also, a maternal brother, Night Train, was our lead off bull in our Denver pen in 2014 and sold to TC Reds in WI and McMurphy Farms in OK. A maternal sister by Firebolt just weaned her first calf and will head to the donor pen next spring. We also have a full brother to Lot 10 that has already turned a lot of heads and will be in the March bull sale. This heifer isn’t a one hit wonder. Take her home & she’ll do the work for you! Full sib embryos sell as Lot 54.

These are the first set of Rural Route calves we have to offer. We are very pleased with the results. They came easy and have extra growth. This heifer balances up with the best. She is round ribbed, flat shouldered and sound. Her mother has a picture perfect udder and knows how to use it! She had an “Up North” sister that sold in the 2016 LIR to the Doyle family in MN.

If you have followed our sales from years past, I’m sure you always see something that comes from the Poppy cow family. The reason for that being Poppy simply gets it done year after year. To be honest, I think she has had her best one thus far! This Night Train female is awesome at the ground in terms of her foot size and shape, yet elegant in her look and gives you that great maternal cow look from the side. No question here this female can change a herd in any program.

Not sure where to start on this one. We can talk about her maternal look; how she hits the ground correctly at all four corners, how elegant she is through her neck and shoulder, or how she blows you away in terms of capacity and center dimension. If you haven’t guessed, I like this one a lot and so have those who have seen her this summer. She has already seen success in the show ring; winning her class at the National Show this summer, and just recently being named Calf Champion in the AOB division at the American Royal. This is a female you can tie into with confidence and build a program around. Retaining ½ embryo interest.

I’m not gonna give all the credit to Power Eye because their mother 719 is flat out good. She has worked so well with many different sires. From day one this heifer has been a stand out. If you like them stout, broody and sound, this one is the ticket. I’ll be the first one to tell you this female may not be love at first sight, but study her and I dare you to find something wrong with her. If you look even deeper at her pedigree you see she stems from the Missie cow family from Weaver Angus Farm from IL. Hard to find a unique female like that with an outcross pedigree to go with it. These Takeover calves are hard not to love! Type and kind they are all the same, sappy middled, square and deathly sound. Couple that with an excellent spread on paper and it is a win - win. 789’s mother stems from our Daisy cow family which has been raising our high sellers for 15 years, including a $20,000 Roosevelt heifer in the 2016 LIR that went to the Jones family in NE. Also, Lot 21’s mother is a maternal sister to “Worth It”, who was Champion Female at the NILE. Worth It’s first calf just sold on Harmony Hill’s Flash & Function sale for $33,500. Homework is done.

I should have my head examined for letting this one leave the place. I was greedy and kept her sister last year, otherwise we wouldn’t be having this conversation! Scary thing is this is 416’s second calf. There is a bunch of neat things in her pedigree; Dolly, whose first 2 sons won Denver and Savannah who won Ft. Worth, Denver and Louisville as a calf for Solution Genetics. The grandma to Lot 22 is also a full sister to Doc Holliday and Dr. Phil. I’m not going to describe this heifer. You come take a look sale day and tell me what you think. Retaining one flush at buyer’s convenience and seller’s expense with a minimum of six embryos.

These C Bar RJ Reckoning females have far exceeded the expectations we had when we purchased him in the 2015 C-Bar Bull Sale. He adds so much sweep and center dimension, transmits a great foot shape, and does so in a very maternal and attractive appearing package. The first Reckoning daughter to hit the showring was National Calf Champion and a NAJRAE Class Winner; another daughter followed up this year with a National Class win and Calf Champion in the AOB division at the Royal. Ekko has the potential to follow in her sisters’ winning ways.

Heart stopper! This dark cherry red heifer has all the bells and whistles. She’s massive topped and super stout with extra sweep to her belly, while still staying long and attractive from the profile. Backed by the deceased WEBR Up North, who produced the 2015 Louisville champion and many high sellers at WLC. Whatever you do with her she is sure to make money. We haven’t had much luck having many Transcendence heifer calves, but the ones we do have are flat good. This heifer is a prime example of the quality and look we wanted to get when we bought Transcendence. The stoutness and power this female offers is second to none. Hard to make cattle this stout and sound but still give that feminine look up front. Great cow prospect here!

This Takeover heifer is built from the ground up. She is moderate, square built and bold ribbed. She brings added calving ease with a -4 BW and a 10 CED, while being in the top 7% of the breed for herdbuilder, which gives you more options come breeding time. 798 would be a great breeding piece for any operation.

This is the youngest heifer we have in the offering, but she will hold her own in terms of quality. She balances up with the best, and she is the deep dark red. Her mother is a direct daughter of Dolly which is Doc Holliday’s mother, and out of Redman, who has made some super nice cows for us.

Mr. Moxley graciously donated embryos to the 2015 NAJRAE Champion Bred and Owned Female, which Sydney was fortunate to win. When Mark said he’d send some out of the Abigrace cow family, I was excited. This heifer does a lot of things right; she’s great hipped, long spined and super attractive on the profile. Add in the power of the Abigrace cow family and you’ve got a heifer that will not only compete, but go on to be a true breeding piece. If ISU was not so proud of their education system, I doubt Sydney would be letting this one go. Retaining a flush at buyer’s convenience and seller’s expense.

It was devastating this last spring when I got the call from Dad saying that we lost the corner stone of our herd “Luanna”. But with that being said she may be saved the best for last. This is one of two ET full sisters sired by the Legendary WEBR Doc Holliday. This might be the best combination that we have ever done with the Luanna cow here at TC Reds. These two heifers speak for themselves. If you want females that can compete at a national level these two will do that and more. I can go on and on about how good these heifers are and we go back and forth on which one we like better every day but that’s going to be your call. Pick your poison here. You can’t go wrong. When I went out in the morning to check cows and see if anything calved I saw this calf get up and I told Dad that moment this is the best calf ever to hit the ground here. Talk about a Freak! This one has always been my favorite as she has a bright future ahead of her. She is so good in her front end quality, yet transitions into a massive, maternal rib shape and has the power and athleticism to handle the longevity of being a great one. As an added bonus she is out of a full sister to the Peekaboo cow that we have all heard so much about. Retaining a flush at buyer’s convenience and seller’s expense.

This is the one heifer of the whole set that grows on me everyday. The word complete describes this one the best. Sound, good looking, and powerful. You can tell Night Train had his work cut out for him last summer and he didn’t let us down. He is one of the most consistent sires we have used and it proves it here with the quality he puts into his offspring. This heifer only needs one thing…a young first time showman that looking to have lots of fun their first year.

JACOBSON EMILY 6024
This cow would be a maternal sib to the Lot 4 heifer. This mating to Goldmaster worked. This cow is big outlined, long, great fronted and carries a huge foot and added bone. Her son by Cinch will sell on our 2018 bull sale. Her mother, 6024, is 11 years of age and is still going strong. She has worked on everything we have tried her on. AI 5/4/17 to Andras Fusion R236 (1506931). PE: 6/1/17 to 8/10/17 to Red Six Mile Brando 666C (1873024).

318 is a rock solid breeding piece. She stems from our Scarlet cow family, which was one of our foundation cows. Her mother 7P is coming 14 years old and weaned off a top end heifer again this year. We’ve kind of hoarded this cow family over the years but we have a really nice Firebolt daughter that replaces her. It’s time to let her work for you! PE: 4/15/17 to 6/1/17 to LSF SRR Takeover 5051C (1744563).

Z304 has made a lot of friends over the years on pasture tours. She is the epitome of what a true female is suppose to look like. She has a long, elegant front end and is flat shouldered yet is still round ribbed and super sound when you get her on the move. You are probably asking yourself, “If she is so good, why is he selling her?” My response, “The Ladies In Red is not the place to sell average cattle.” If she was average, I’d be selling her on Craig’s List. In all seriousness, I have an extremely hard time selling my bred heifers, so instead I’m offering up cows from the heart of our herd. She has a daughter and granddaughter in our herd. At this point, her grandson is on track to be in our 2018 Denver Pen. Also, a son brought $9,600 to Sutphin Cattle Co. in CO in the 2016 bull sale. MPPA 104.36 AI’d to 5/25/17 to Reform (3535729). PE: 6/1/17 to 8/10/17 to Red 6 Mile Brando 666 (1873024).

Lady Rob was the result of one of our initial purchases in the Red Angus breed at the famed Oates Land and Cattle dispersal. After producing our top selling bull several years in a row, Lady Rob 7007 went to the donor pen and has been cornerstone ever since. Lady Rob transmits tremendous udder quality in her daughters and ranks in the top 5% of the breed for Milk. Her balanced EPD profile offers a number of directions you can go in your matings. She has produced several champions and high sellers, including WDZ Covergirl and WDZ Girl Power. Lady Rob is open and ready to flush. We welcome the opportunity to discuss mating options and would be open to splitting flushes on a mutually agreed upon sires. Guaranteeing minimum of 7 frozen embryos.

WDZ Girl Power was purchased by JK Red Angus in North Carolina in the 2015 Ladies In Red Sale. We retained 50% embryo interest and are certainly glad we made that decision. Not only did she have a successful show career as a heifer, but more importantly turned into one of those young cows that you can spend all day in the pasture staring at. The mating to Mulberry is one that presents an opportunity to produce your next show heifer, donor or herd bull. Offering 3 embryos with the guarantee of 1 pregnancy.

Here are two reverse IVF heifer embryos by WEBR Night Train 324 and out of one of our favorite cows on the place. 80z is one of those females that you wish you had a whole pasture full of. Her high quality look breeds true year after year and with adding Night Train to the mix it’s going to turn out great. It’s hard to let these embryos go because we know that this mating would be making the Ladies in Red Event in the future. Offering 2 embryos with the guarantee of 1 pregnancy.

To say we’re excited about this mating would be an understatement. The homework is done, and 8021U and Rolling Deep click! These embryos are full subs to the Reform bull who was purchased by Six Mile Red Angus of Canada and VF Red Angus in OR. Also, a full sister to these eggs sells as Lot 10. We have a full brother to these eggs that will sell in the 2018 bull sale. Boy, this has me wondering why we’re putting these eggs up for sale! This Rolling Deep mating wasn’t her first success. These eggs would also be maternal sibs to Night Train, the lead off bull in our 2015 champion pen of bulls at NWSS. If you are wanting to make a splash in the Red Angus breed, the guesswork is done. On paper or in person these are real world cattle with a look. Offering 3 embryos with the guarantee of 1 pregnancy. 55

Besides Dolly, 1002’s mom has probably made as big an imprint in our program as any. Both revenue and females kept in herd. 1002 is following her footsteps. Just last month she had three daughters by three different sires average $7800 for Phil Farmer in OH. Also, a granddaughter sold for $33,500 in the Flash & Function Sale in MT. Lot 21 would be a granddaughter as well. We think this mating to Reform could be the icing on the cake. Power, balance, calving ease and growth, coupled with a killer look. Offering 3 embryos with the guarantee of 1 pregnancy.
