Friends, It seems it was only a short time ago that I was describing what our plans with the phase one Roses herd reduction sale was about. Actually it was only about 5 months ago so not all that much has changed except the weather. On Memorial Weekend we started getting rain and I donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t think I have ever seen it so green all summer long as it was this year. Our cattle have had a great summer and I am pleased to be able to offer them to you in true grass condition. I think they have had the right conditions to be able to express what they are capable of and I look forward to showing them to everyone. The Durstâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s at Cross D Genetics developed the bred heifers through the winter. They AI bred them for us and were shipped a day later where they went straight out into big relatively bare pastures. With only a little hay supplement for 10 days, I am extremely pleased with the breed up on them. We will be selling them straight out of the pasture and will be bringing them to the barn only a couple days before the sale. I invite you to come and inspect them before hand, the pasture they are in is a really pleasant place to see and the heifers are super gentle. Heifer calves have all been weaned for 45 to 60 days by sale time. Many have been worked with by Jacinda and are ready to go if you desire a show heifer for your youngsters. I encourage you to talk to Jacinda if you have a special interest in finding a super gentle heifer for a beginner, she will be able to steer you in the right direction. Some of the heifers that we believe have great potential, as donors have also been broke so they should be easy to work with for years to come. We will only be retaining a small number of donors, bred heifers, and heifer calves to continue the C-Bar herd. Sisters, Daughters, and pregnancies from the remaining C-Bar core genetics will be offered in this a sale. Through this small core we plan to offer more opportunity to our young partners to grow and become a bigger part of the C-Bar program. Cindy and I will be able to redirect our energy, time, financial and physical resources to do a better job for our partners and customers as well as take more personal time away from ranch duties. When I was a young man I worked hard and fast, as I gained experience I worked with a better plan, and still with success I gained a greater focus and worked smarter. When more resources became available I worked harder, as I grew older it became difficult to work hard and fast so I worked longer. Although she is one of the greenest females in the offering, we believe her upside potential may be unmatched when it comes down to it. Superb on her feet and legs, flat shouldered, bold ribbed, and square hipped. This female also has the best disposition of any female in the offering and is a prime candidate for a young person that is looking to begin their career!

Any changes from information of any kind in this catalog will be announced from the auction box and such announcements shall take precedence.

5. HEALTH

All animals are eligible for interstate shipment, except as otherwise announced. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal requiring tuberculosis and brucellosis tests in accordance with Federal Regulations.

6. DEFAULT
