We will have around 200 natural-born Red Angus heifer calves to pick from and around 90 bred heifers. Calves are born from the end of February to the beginning of April. We also have a May calving program. Six Mile females have been highly sought after in recent years. Many Six Mile females have risen to the top in shows and sales across North America, but more importantly they have been successful in terms of production. We were partners in buying the entire Bar-E-L Red Angus herd this summer, which has added new genetics and never before access to that genetic pool Six Mile Ranch has been the Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor at the Canadian Western Agribiton show for the past seven years in a row. The Brackle Ridge program is becoming more of a significant breeding herd as time goes by. Only the best have been purchased as additions to the existing herd. Today, some of the very best donor females in the United States reside at Brackle Ridge Cattle Co, such as Red Blair’s Soapy 84B. Red Blair’s Soapy 84B is an exception Kargo daughter who has the look of an ideal brood cow. This tremendous female displays superb volume, substance and the maternal look. We purchased Soapy 84B in the Genetic Focus Sale in Canada for $24,000. She calved at 22 months and did a great job raising her first calf.
