The past year in the cattle business has truly been phenomenal with record setting prices on nearly all classes of beef cattle across the nation. As Texas pastures rebuild their herds from the devastating droughts the past few years, cattlemen and women are diligently replacing lost cattle with top quality, heat resistant RED HIDED females. Fertility, disposition, milk/maternal traits, feed efficiency, red hided heat tolerance and calf carcass qualities are essential building blocks for a top cattle herd. No breed better fits the criteria than Red Angus. If you watch Superior Auctions, it is very apparent that commercial Red Angus females and Red Angus herd bulls are the hottest thing in the U.S. beef market today! If you haven’t tried Red Angus, now is certainly the time to invest in the future of your beef herd and add some Red Angus genetics to your program.

With the cattle market being strong, you would assume that putting together an auction of cattle right now would be easy. In retrospect, most breeders are either hanging on to what they have or have sold them privately at home so I am honored to be representing the cattle from the consignors that have stepped forward for this auction. BREEDING GUARANTEE: All animals are guaranteed by the seller as outlined in the Red Angus Association of America Code of Ethical Sale Practices.

PAR Robin B6 is an ET daughter of the elite donor cow RSLND Robins Rambo 806502 that recently sold in Western Heritage Sale in Denver. She is a maternal sister to Grand Canyon and Major League and a daughter of the Rambo 502 bull. She was the high selling female in the 2008 NILE sale at $17,500 to TJS Red Angus and Knaub Cattle Co., both in Montana, and Peacock Angus Ranch. The only reason this calf is for sale is that we have been flushing her dam and we have many maternal sibs including two full sisters to this calf. Her sire is the Shick's Berry Cherry bull that has produced some top calves throughout the breed. This heifer is a genetic gem with a pedigree that reads like a who's who list in the Red Angus breed, and because we have full sibs to her, we are selling full interest and possession in her.
