Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Legends of the Fall consignors welcome to our sale! We truly appreciate your interest and hope you find the cattle you need to enhance your program. We promise to work hard to do what we can to make sure you are successful. We are extremely excited about the cattle that we are offering, as each operation has dug deep into their herds to offer top quality, breed leading genetics. We have something for everyone including show heifer prospects, fall yearling heifers, bred spring heifers, fall pairs, spring bred cows, embryos, a flush and even exciting bull prospects. Whether you are an established breeder looking for donor prospects or just getting started in this great breed, we feel we have cattle on this sale that will give you a good return on your investment. The breeders on this sale are passionate about Red Angus cattle and have invested in the best genetics available to establish their herds. As you study the pedigrees of the sale cattle you will find some of the most proven and sought after genetics in the Red Angus gene pool, foundation bloodlines that the breed was built on. Above all, the cattle on this sale are bred to perform, thrive in their environment and produce profits for their owners. It is an exciting time to be involved in Red Angus. At a time when the challenges we face are many, it’s comforting to be in a breed that solves problems rather than makes problems. Red Angus make great mothers that milk well and breed back on a roughage diet, raise feedlot cattle that gain well and grade, commercial females that are in high demand. These are all reasons that the commercial cattleman is turning to Red Angus to get the job done. We feel that the Red Angus breed above all others is poised for explosive growth at a time when other breeds are trying to hold on. With that, we invite you to join us on December 5th for a day of good fun, good cattle and good people. Come early to view the cattle, we will all be available to answer questions and help you find the cattle that best fit your program. Ray and Gwyn have worked extremely hard this year to host the sale at their farm. It may be worth the trip just to see what Ray got done. We’ll see you the 5th, be ready to make new friends renew old acquaintances and buy some good Red Angus cattle. Best Regards,
Legends of the Fall

Sire of lot 46 & 47
Cowboy Cut is by far the most athletic, free-wheeling bull we have ever seen. He has tremendous set to his pasterns, is extremely well balanced with excellent rib shape, muscle and top. There are several judges that seem to agree with our opinion as he had a very impressive 2008 show season including: Bull Calf champion, AJAA & CJAA Shows: Res Grand Champion Bull, “Summer Sizzler” Gold Show: People’s Choice Champion Bull, CRAPS Summer Tour; Junior Bull Calf Champion, Farmfair International; Legends of the Fall Red Angus Grand Champion, 2009 NILE Grand Champion. As an ET calf he currently carries parental EPD’s. We expect these to get a lot better, based on his individual performance. Cowboy Cut posted a whomping 928lb 205 day adj weight and followed that with a 1428 lb 365 adj weight, then posted 16.15 REA scan with 3.81% IMF.
