Welcome to the 2011 OYE Heifer & Steer Futurity Sales Thank you for your participation in the OYE Futurity Sales! The OYE staff is pleased to offer you a quality set of heifers and steers and is confident that our consignors have brought cattle that will fit nearly any program. The OYE Futurity Sales offer the additional incentive of the Futurity Showback for Oklahoma 4-H and FFA exhibitors. All animals sold will be eligible to compete in the 2012 Showback for additional premium money and prizes so long as they are exhibited by an Oklahoma 4-H or FFA member. The Supreme Champion Futurity Steer will earn a coveted spot in the OYE Sale of Champions! We invite you to take the time to analyze these cattle and find your next winner and look forward to providing a first class event to everyone involved! 2012 Futurity Showback General Rules 1. All animals entered in the Futurity Showback must have been purchased from the 2011 Futurity Sale. 2. Futurity Showback cattle must be exhibited by an Oklahoma 4-H or FFA member who has had ownership of the animal for 60 days prior to the Oklahoma Youth Expo Livestock Show. 3. There is no additional entry fee required to compete in the Futurity Showback however the animal(s) must have been included in the OYE online entry process thus paying the $30 entry fee. 4. An exhibitor can enter an infinite number of Futurity purchased animals in the OYE Futurity Showback, even if exhibitor has already entered the maximum of two heifers or two steers in the OYE Heifer Show or OYE Steer Show. However, an exhibitor is still limited to exhibiting only two heifers or two steers in the OYE Heifer Show or OYE Steer Show. 5. So long as there are three (3) or more animals of the same breed, classes will be broken by breed. All other cattle will be shown as an AOB. 6. Champion and Reserve Champion animals from each breed will compete for Supreme Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion honors. 7. The Supreme Champion Futurity Showback Steer will be awarded a lot in the OYE Sale of Champions.
SALE TERMS TERMS OF SALE Terms of the sale are cash or check. All cattle are to be paid for during or immediately after the sale and will not be released until after settlement has been made. BIDDING All animals sell to the highest bidder. Any disputes or challenges regarding bids will be settled by the Auctioneer and his decision will be final. CATTLE GUARANTEE Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold. Further guarantees may be offered by the seller or on a lot by lot basis. Please inquire with individual consignors.
