CHIANINA Dear Friends and Fellow Breeders: FEATURE

Welcome to the 2018 Pembrook Cattle Co. Fall Production Sale with guest Elmore Cattle Services. This sale has evolved from the Pembrook Cattle Online Angus Sale into this second annual live auction event. This unique offering is once again the collective effort of forward-thinking seedstock producers with an eye for cattle that can compete in any venture. Pembrook Cattle Company and Elmore Cattle Services, have worked together toward the common goal of assembling an offering of elite heifer and herd sire prospects that represent the best of all breeds as well as the proven donors, frozen genetics, flush and bred females in this sale. Travis and Beth Pembrook, and their sale guests, Jason and Jennie Elmore, go the extra mile in terms of customer service to maximize the success of the juniors while making it a learning experience as well. They truly are about “putting good cattle together with great people”, and the lasting relationships with their customers and the past and current champions they have bred and sold are a testament to this fact. These females combine performance with excellent phenotype to become competitors at any level in the industry. The genetics represented from all breeds in this offering, on both sides of the pedigrees, are second to none. This is a wellbalanced offering, and quality is present throughout. These show heifer and donor prospects are halter broke and started. You will have the opportunity to purchase daughters of and sisters to many past champions as well as industry renowned donor dams and tremendous herd sire prospects. Whatever breed/s you are interested in, you will find something to your liking in this special sale. I encourage each of you to evaluate your own situation and goals, and on Saturday, October 20, take advantage of the knowledge and cutting-edge efforts of these breeders and their programs. If any of the breeders or I can be of assistance to you, please let us know.

Welcome, Travis and Beth were reading our minds when they stated “Putting good cattle together with great people.” Jennie and I have said many times “the thing we love more than the cattle in this business, are the people in this business.” These sayings couldn’t be more true when we think of our friends and customers that we are blessed to work with in this industry. First of all, we would like to thank Travis and Beth for inviting us to be a part of their sale. We believe in their program, their values and their cattle, as I know they believe in ours and we are thankful to be associated with such people that we call friends. Next, we are extremely excited about the Purebred Simmentals we have to offer. We believe these cattle can succeed in the show ring and pasture. Thank you to all who have trusted and inquired about our cattle and program. Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions, we would love to help you with your goals. We are thankful for the relationships we have with our customers and look forward to building that same friendship with new customers.

Sincerely,

In closing, we thank our Lord for blessing us with the ability and opportunity to raise our girls in this industry.

Matt Sims

See you October 20th,

This March heifer offers impressive visual quality, while being backed by the genetic power and consistency of the Tinge cow family. She possesses the look and style needed to capture banners in the ring, while being high-volumed, stout made and sound footed. Her body type reads of brood cow utility, as she is deep, bold hearted and robust in her upper rib shape. This, in combination to her extraordinary width and power, suggests she is sure to generate profit as both a show and donor prospect. Her dam is a full sister to the $60,000 valued feature from the 2017 PCC Fall Production Sale, Evening Tinge 226 8001, as well as the popular sire R&R PCC Aspect 225Z, and a maternal sister to the sire of champions, PCC Witten 111A. Evening Tinge 8001 has produced numerous champions including the Champion Female at the American Royal Open show for J 6 Farms, who, in turn, produced the high-selling female at Hartman sale who went on to be a many time champion for Chesney Effling. The sire of lots 1 and 2, Colburn Primo 5153, is a product of one of Style’s most decorated daughters and the amazing Dameron First Class while his maternal granddam is Silveiras famous donor, Saras Dream. Primo’s full sisters were some of the most dominating show heifers on the circuit. Trust these daughters to take you to the next level, they are PRIMO! Sells open.

SIRE OF LOTS 4-8

HA COWBOY UP 5405 The sire of the flush-mates selling as lots 4 thru 8, Cowboy Up, was

the sensation of the spring 2016 bull sale season when two-thirds interest of him sold for $350,000 in the Hinman Sale and then again to open 2017 when, at the 2017 Bases Loaded Sale, a 10% semen interest of him sold for $120,000 to make him one of the most valuable living Angus sires. One of the first daughters of Cowboy Up sold at auction, commanded a bid of $52,500 for half interest in the 2017 Big Event at Express where another daughter from his first calf crop sold half interest for $40,000 with his first yearling sons to be offered for sale in the spring of 2018 expected to have the power, volume and extra muscle expression to be favorites of both purebred and commercial cattlemen. His mating to Evening Tinge 226 8001 certainly yielded the results we hoped for with a consistent set of flush mates that combine excellent phenotype with pre-genomic EPD profiles that rank in the top 10% for WW, YW, and $F, the top 15% for RADG and CW, and the top 20% for $W.

The Mahogany cow has as much bone, rib shape, and look as we’ve seen in a Red Angus cow. That being said, from a phenotype standpoint, there is no doubt this heifer has the parts and pieces to compete at any level. She’s as good as they come in terms of soundness on her feet and legs and when parked on the profile shows herself off like a winner, being freaky necked and big bodied, with a great hip and hind leg.
