HEALTH: All bulls are on a complete health program including a current tric test and will be accompanied by health papers for shipment anywhere in the United States. All bulls have been vaccinated with IBR, BVD type I & II, PI3, BRSV, Pasturella, 7-way, Haemophilus and poured. All animals in the sale are on a complete vaccination program. All females are brucellosis vaccinated. Dr. Don Beck, Baker MT, ultrasounded the bred females in the sale. All females will be re-examined by Dr. Jeff Erquaiga within one week of the sale. The bred females sell as pregnant on sale day and carry no further guarantee. FERTILITY TESTING: All bulls will be fertility tested prior to the sale and guaranteed to be breeders. They will come with a semen evaluation and soundness sheet. BOARDING: All livestock must be removed by noon on Thursday, October 8, 2020 unless other arrangements have been made with Buffalo Livestock or Pieper Red Angus. FEEDING: We have fed our bulls on the ranch for the last 45 years and this year was no exception. They are fed a high roughage ratio. The feedback from our customers has been that the bulls are holding up very well under most any conditions. We have sold bulls in Texas for years with good feedback. Welcome to our first Annual Texas fall Run Production sale We are very excited to join our good friends the Decordova family at the livestock auction in Buffalo Texas for this event! The sale will be broadcasted live through superior click to Bid. We have been in the Red Angus seedstock business for over forty-five years. our ranch is located in the western Nebraska panhandle, which has a great variablity in weather conditions. We typically graze our cows most of the year in large pastures. They have adapted very well to the harsh climate. for several years we have sent lots of stock to the south country and they have done well! We are excited about the set of cattle we are bringing to you. These bulls are a group from the youngest fifty percent of our 2019 bull crop. They are eighteen month old virgin bulls that have never been picked out of. They are cherry red, good footed, long bodied, thick made bulls with great dispositions. The cross breeding advatages with these bulls will be extraordinary. The Red Angus females in this offering will be suited perfectly for the southern united states. They are slick haired, heat tolerant, easy fleshing and great footed. We have found the dark cherry red cattle have better feet, but the best of all they are easy to handle. The vet work will all be done in Nebraska by our long time veterinarian Dr. Jeff Erquiaga, who is very throrough. The stock will be moved to Texas one week before the sale for your inspection. To sum things up, we are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We plan on making this a long term event.
