SSST COWTOWN 364Z 5/10/12 — Sim/Angus/Maine — ASA Reg. Pending

DJ Salute G509

1/2 SM, 3/8 AN, 1/8 MA bull

We think the possibilities for this halfblood Simmental bull calf are unlimited. Cowtown is not only going to be a good fit in traditional Simmental programs but also in the club calf/show cattle sector as well. This young herd sire prospect is sired by SOS and out of Carley, the Dream Catcher donor in the Standridge program. This blaze-faced calf is super thick and wide topped. On the move, he is extremely sound on his feet and legs. Along with these traits, he has a killer look when viewed from the side. As we mentioned earlier…the possibilities here are endless.

Selling 2/3 interest and full possession. Seller retains a full 1/3 semen interest.

We would like to assist the buyer in promoting this bull and possibly sell semen. Promotional expenses will be divided accordingly.

This powerful March prospect is a granddaughter of the famed donor VAR Forever Lady 4304. 4304 began early in her life writing her own chapter in Angus history, capturing Reserve Grand Champion honors at the National Western Stock Show. Her legacy has been carried on through her progeny. She produced the $95,000 top-selling show heifer prospect of the 2005 Big Event Sale that went on to sell for half interest at private treaty for $100,000 after being chosen Reserve Grand Champion of the 2006 National Western as a heifer calf. That same female, Forever Lady 5309, was named Grand Champion at the 2007 Western National Angus Futurity, with a flush selling to Stevenson Basin in the 2007 EXAR Big Event for $75,000. The long list of other high valued progeny of 4304 includes the $85,000 top-selling female of the 2006 Honor Roll Sale at Express, the $51,000 Lot 1A heifer of the record-setting 2006 Big Event Sale and a $20,000 selection of the Schnoor Family from California, who went on to be a division champion at the 2006 National Junior Angus Show. • EPDs: BW I 2.2, WW I 52, YW I 92, Milk I 27

Dam:

We really hate to part with this heifer, as she is one of two Eagle Eye calves that we had last fall. She is a good one and one that will show well for some young person. Her pedigree comes from a long list of females that have produced club calves. The Limited Edition bull laid us in a set of females back in 2004 that are uniform and have been very popular. We have kept more females out of the 426P cow than any other female in our herd. 190 will make a good show heifer and a really good cow. • EPDs: BW 3.0, WW 52, YW 92, Milk 21

EXAR Titlelist T011 KB Ms HOF T011 9929 JSAR Miss Hall of Fame 277 R Dam:

This December heifer has a pedigree to back her good looks. Her dam was bought from KB in 2010. We liked her for her very clean front end and were in enthused that she was a Titlelist daughter. She has not disappointed. We were impressed enough that she was flushed to provide this female. We love the Final Answer cattle for their thickness. Coupled with 9929’s style, 155 should really be attractive to a lot of people. • Sire’s EPDs: BW –1.0, WW 60, YW 104, Milk 25 Dam’s EPDs: BW 1.9, WW 41, YW 72, Milk 19

Dam:

193 is another heifer from one of the KB heifers we purchased in 2010. With the design of the WAR Direction/Doctor line coupled with the stoutness of Final Answer and Pioneer, this female will be a good one. Her adjusted weaning weight of 640 lbs. and 106 ratio puts her near the top. Also, look at this strong set of EPDs. • EPDs: BW 0.4, WW 55, YW 95, Milk 27
