Welcome to our Annual Bull Sale, It is always an exciting time of the year for me when the bull sale season comes around. We take great pride in the cattle that we raise and we want to make sure that our bulls will work for you, our customer. I am very passionate about my cattle and I strive to make them ideal for our customers. All cattle in this offering have been tested for genetic defects or are free of genetic defects in their pedigree. This is an electrifying time in the cattle business, prices are at all time highs and cattlemen are finally able to breath a sigh of relief. My goal in producing cattle is to be able to blend calving ease, performance, maternal and carcass traits. The offering this year does that for me and I hope that you can see what I mean when you come April 16th to Devils Lake. I cannot take all of the credit for how good the cattle look this year. It is in large part due to Jim Ziegler and his family along with Dick Harding and his family. Without these two guys it would be nearly impossible to have these bulls and females ready for the sale. I would also like to take this time and thank my brother Jim Uriell and my nephew James Uriell for all they do to help on the farm. Family is a very important part of a mans life and I am very proud to have these two men in mine. Last but certainly not least, I want to thank my wife, Denise, for putting up with me the last 26 years of our lives. More importantly I want her to know how much I appreciate her putting up with my cows for the last 10 years! We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones April 16th at the Regional Livestock Market in Devils Lake. The sale starts at 1PM but come early and enjoy the day looking at the sale offering. Thank you, Ed Uriell

Here is a bull that will have offspring pushing the scales down at weaning. If you need a bull to that will produce calves capable of being sold at weaning or retained through the feedlot, this bull may do the trick for you. Due to his age he was not scanned at the same time as the rest of the bulls.

Lots 30-34 are ET brothers that are a little younger but give them time and they will prove themselves to you. These bulls are out of a younger Canadian bull that has been hitting the US market in high demand. These bulls offer plenty of muscle and should pass that onto their sons. Plus, with New Trend 22D on the bottom side they are sure to produce feminine daughters that will prove to be valuable as replacement females. Co-owned with Jacobson Red Angus.

NHF. Lot 55 has a pedigree that reads positive for eye appeal, growth and just plain good momma cows. The dam to Lot 55 is a maternal sister to the heavily used Mojito bull owned by the Mojito Syndicate. This is the kind of heifer that you can take home and make money on.Co-owned with Jacobson Red Angus

This may be Eds favorite female in the offering. Her dam has already made her way into the donor pen due to her outstanding phenotype and her 109.5 MPPA. Lot 56 has just as much potential as her dam if not more. She is a stout made female that offers plenty of body while still being very functional on the move.

Take a look at this female and you will be able to appreciate how she combines her muscle with feminity. Her sire is one of the stoutest bulls I have seen and her dam is the kind that you can go out to the pasture and look at anytime of the year and she will always look good.

Lot 61 & 62 are twins off of a first calf heifer. Their dam was a first calf heifer when she had these two and she raised them on her own. She comes from the highly maternal UBAR High Capacity 224 who has sired many national champions. 7167T is an excellent female that has a great udder and as you can see from these two she is an excellent mother. This year she has a fancy Cowboy Cut heifer that you will want to keep your eyes open for her in the North Dakota State Sale.
